I highly recommend, the rooms spacious and super clean. The breakfast buffet delicious with good taste. At the event we had in one of the rooms everything organized and clean and the staff super attentive.

Many visits to Las Vegas wasted in sub par hotels, but this amazing hotel stay put all of that behind me. The room was clean and quiet and had a view of the Las Vegas lights. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was so sweet and attentive. They even did a last call for breakfast at the pool area before they shut it down! Speaking of the pool, what a delightful escape. It was small and quaint with a waterfall for ambiance and a hot tub. This hotel is slightly off the strip so there are no resort fees, and it had cable and HBO for the kids! This great place is my new go to when I visit Vegas. Nicely done Hampton staff!

While their was a miscommunication when I arrived all is well n great people and staff.

We went to Oklahoma for our daughter's wedding. We stayed in various hotels along the way. This was by far the nicest, cleanest. Best priced hotel we stayed in. Great customer service. Great continental breakfast. Everything was perfect. We will be back.

This is a very nice property. It’s not in the strip but is very close. The pool is a resort style pool and we spent hours out by it and in it enjoying the pool. The staff is amazing and friendly. We earn Honors points for this stay which is a bonus. It’s has a great hot tub. We would stay here again while in Las Vegas. I give it a 5 state for 5 star rating. It matters who you travel with.

What a lovely, clean, fresh and bright hotel/casino. The smell as you enter is so lush. Rooms are big and airy with great views. Pool is fab, staff are great and I cannot wait to stay here again xx.

Just disappointed that in 100+ degree weather that they close the swimming pool at 6 pm. I have never stayed at a resort hotel where they closed the pool that early.

Nice hotel room. Only three people working the check-in desk and there was a bit of a line. Found it weird that during the summer time the swimming pool didn't open until 10 am. Buffet price $23.99. Is too expensive.

Had a wonderful time! Great staff. Only negative was the extremely bright light shining in our window all night long. The room was actually brighter at night than during the day. Crazy! We were told there was construction in the parking lot and they had to keep the spotlights on. That was the only negative. Everything else about the room was fabulous.

It’s a lot of fun and very nice staff, I’ll be sure to visit again next time I’m in Vegas!

Our experience at the Hampton was very pleasant and satisfying for the price we paid. Our room was very clean and pretty with modern vibe. Seems like the entire building was remodeled not too long ago. The pool was smaller than expected, but if you avoid the “rush hours, ” it can be spacious enough. From around 10:30am to early afternoon, I kept the pool to myself most of the time. The jacuzzi really helped after walking all day. However, after being in the pool water, my skin felt extremely dry. You might want to shower immediately. The breakfast was nice enough with breads, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, omelette or scrambled egg, etc. It gets super crowded at times. I like that the breakfast is served till 10am :)

Lovely hotel with clean rooms. Had rather noisy neighbours playing loud music so asked to be moved. Was no problem at all. Thanks again Jazz Nice breakfast buffet. Loved the waffles! Very friendly staff and the free shuttle to the Strip & airport is a bonus. Can definitely recommend The Hampton Inn.

My overall experience at this Hotel was awesome! Staff was great, smooth check in process, early morning breakfast was great & the pool was very enjoyable as it was 109 degrees outside when we decided to go for a swim & the water was still cold regardless how hot the weather was. I Highly Recommend Staying At This Hotel.

Friendly, clean hotel. It's nice to be able to stay somewhere in Vegas that isn't plastered wall to wall with something devious. This place is beautiful with a huge continental breakfast each morning. I love that it's close enough to get where you need to on the strip or Fremont Street, but away from all the night life and when you need a full night's rest.

Great hotel, good breakfast options. Have a great shuttle for rides to and from airport as well as drop off on the strip. I stay here often for the newly renovated rooms and to avoid the "resort" fees you find on the strip. Its close enough to walk to the strip if needed. Pool is nice to cool off in on the hot summer days. Also very close to the new Raiders stadium being built.

This was not an excellent stay a Hilton hotel. Do they even realize that they are part of this company? The hotel and rooms were shabby, the furniture was worn, two of the four elevators didn't work and our key stopped working in the door 4 times! Each time the key broke it took almost 30 minutes for the hotel to fix the problem. There is an excessive wait at the front desk. And when we contacted the manager about the frustrations of our stay, he said that he would fix things and call us back. He was not a man of his word, as he did not return our call. The full service restaurant in the hotel was pretty good, but the more food court style restaurants were over priced and didn't have much going for it in terms of options. Yes, this hotel is cheaper to stay at than other hotels on the strip, however it wasn't cheap enough to deal with the hassles of this hotel.

Loved the pool and breakfast! We wanted to avoid casinos because we had our kiddos. This hotel was the perfect stay for passing through. I'd stay again for just the breakfast, they had a really nice spread and variety that matched most diets. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Really loved the well lit bathroom, every makeup artists dream. We had a lovely time there and most fast foods were within walking distance. We had an awesome view of the strip. It was really cool all lit up at night.

Fantastic place to stay! Beds were fresh and comfy. Staff was friendly. Price was right. Stayed at another hotel on the "strip". Wish we would have booked here for our whole trip.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for five nights. Breakfast was delicious and different each day. Janet made the kids feel so comfortable and even gave them coloring pages and fruit snacks.

Very friendly staff! I was able to book on short notice and they were very accommodating. They even texted me to ask how I was doing after I got settled in. Would recommend. Great value for the price!

My room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was wonderful. The staff is pleasant and kind. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Was here for a class. In the conference building adjasent to the hotel. Very nice facilities. Food and beverage services available. Wifi, digital projection, PA. Very accommodating. Friendly staff. Love the cushioned chairs. Started nodding off right after lunch. I usually nap at home 14:00 to about 16:00. Largest meeting room good for at least 100 with ample frontage area for presenters.

This was a really nice place to stay. We were worried at first because we were on the ground floor right by a back door, but that ended up being great. We could park right outside the door near our room and we couldn't hear any foot traffic through the halls. The room was very nice and clean.

Spent four pleasant nights here. Recently renovated everything looks brand new. Staff was very congenial and accommodating. Free shuttle to and from airport and the strip. Nice pool area with waterfall and jacuzzi. Best part was awesome breakfast in the morning and hot coffee around the clock!

The stay here was great. Slightly off the strip but free shuttle service drop off to and from the hotel made that ok. Also provided transportation from the airport. I loooooooved it here. Great breakfast and a friendly staff. The hotel was undergoing some maintenance at the time for renovations but they were very considerate of their guests and it never bothered us or got in our way.

Construction across the street is a bit noisy pretty early but otherwise, great hotel with a great location. Walking distance (for me anyway) to the strip (about 1.25 miles to the Mandalay Bay convention center). Good breakfast to start the day. Friendly and helpful shuttle drivers (Jack is great)

It's a decent hotel unless you stay for long periods of time to do laundry. Two washers and two driers for a hotel with maybe 400 rooms is not enough. Especially when one dryer is out of order.

We apparently booked our rooms during a renovation of the hotel. It took a while for us to figure out where to park. It also wasn't communicated before hand that there would be renovations occuring during our stay. The remodeled rooms are very nice though even if the lobby and dining room are closed. I personally think that the cost of stays during renovations should be reduced due to the inconvenience of the customers. Overall, I love staying at Hampton Inns. I just wish they would have warned us that the renovations were going on before we arrived.

This hotel is a secret treasure. Located 10 minutes by foot from the southern end of the strip, it provides a cheap but very comfortable alternative to other LV hotels. The rooms are big, new and very clean and comfortable. The bath is perfect and the breakfast is amazing as the other reviews mention. Currently (December 2017) construction workers are in the first an third floor but no rooms in these floors available, no distractions.

The hotel was under construction when we arrived, so navigating the property was a little trickier than usual for someone with mobility issues. The temporary facilities they have set up work just as well as the standard front desk/breakfast accommodations. Free on site parking was a huge plus and it was kind of nice being away from the tuckus of the strip. The newly redone bathrooms are spectacular. The new vanities really "light up the room like the fourth of July" as our welcome letter indicated. Breakfast was a hot buffet with standard breakfast fare, but had tasty variety for waffle toppings and baked goods.

Extremely nice for what we paid. The room was very clean with extremely comfortable beds. We had a wonderful time here, and it made being away for home a joyful experience. In the morning, we indulged in the complimentary breakfast. This was not the bagels and donuts that I was expecting. There was a variety of hot and cold foods to suite anything you might want to eat. My son had seconds and thirds which is amazing because he is an extremely picky eater. While it's not right on the strip, it is close enough that you can enjoy the fun while not dealing with the 24 hour noise right outside of your window. I would absolutely stay here again the next time that we come to Vegas!

My wife and I stayed here about two weeks ago. It is a nice hotel and prices are way cheaper than staying on the strip. This hotel is located just 5 minutes from the strip which is perfect if you want to stroll down Las Vegas Blvd. View from the room was really nice. You can see a lot of the strip for here, depending on which side of the hotel your room is. Rooms were really clean and nice. No pests or smells. Staff was all helpfull as well. We will definitely be staying here again!

Not located directly on the strip — so Quiet. Ample parking space. Very good Breakfast. Small fitness Room. Nice outdoor Pool. Small bar in the Lobby. My 4th stay. Is currently being completely renovated.

We were unfortunately in Las Vegas when the horrific mass shooting happened. We were staying at the MGM Grand but because the strip was locked down were unable to get there. A Lyft driver dropped us off on Dean Martin Drive and said good luck! The Hampton Inn just happened to be right there. The staff was outstanding and they all worked through the night. They put out water for all of the people displaced, gave out blankets and pillows and even provided them breakfast in the morning! We were fortunate enough to get one of the last rooms and it was clean and comfortable. Unlike our room at MGM where our bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Thank you Hampton Inn! Great job on your service, hospitality and cleanliness of the hotel and the delicious breakfast! Definitely would recommend your establishment to everyone!

This is a smaller hotel with no concierge. But for the price my stay was good. There's free airport shuttle and breakfast included. The shuttle will drop you off at Tropicana hotel and casino as well. I would definitely stay here again. It is more relaxing and away from the hustle and noise.

Room wasn't what I expected. No dresser to store clothes from suitcase, and no suitcase stand, either. No refrigerator in the room, although there was a microwave. Good breakfast with hot and cold choices. Close to the Strip, but some seedy characters nearby — I've seen police arrest two people at the gas station next door in 24 hours. Edit: The 4th floor is currently being renovated. My room is on the fifth floor. At various times, including right now, a very strong smell of paint thinner comes through the air conditioning unit. It's simply awful!

I'll be honest, our initial experience was rough. Our first room had a massive water leak from the ceiling above us in the bathroom due to construction. They moved us a floor down and water was leaking there as well from the light fixture. They did offer to move us to a king suite but we needed two beds so the third room was a little smaller and no fridge but they brought one to us. They did extend some additional amenities like shuttle service outside normal hours and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The night staff was especially nice. I would stay here again but maybe after renovations are done.

Spacious room with a fridge for self-use, good and varied breakfast, nice staff and a good shuttle service to the Strip. All in all completely satisfied. Would love to come back!

Good rooms, slightly away from the casinos, 10 minutes walk.

Please understand that the people working at the Hampton Inn Tropicana are absolutely wonderful. We had positive experiences with every employee we met. However, the facility is quite dated and has, I think, become difficult to keep clean. The pool area is nice.

Our stay here has been great so far. The airport shuttle was nice. We called when we landed and within 5 minutes of waiting, a shuttle came to pick us up. John, the shuttle driver kept things lively. The clerk at the front was very courteous and friendly. We got a standard king size room. It was nothing fancy but it was good enough for what we were wanting. The pool is a lot smaller than the photos make it out to be. I'm told the free breakfast is actually quite nice. I'll update this once we eat it a couple of times.

They're in the process of refurbishment so in time things may change… on arrival in our room the first thing we noticed was that we could write in the thick dust on the TV counter. We went out to eat, asking if the room could be cleaned while we were out. On return the surface had been wiped, nothing else in the room had been touched, it was filthy. Asking again for a clean, a young man came and did an excellent job cleaning the bathroom, explaining that building work was the problem. He was very apologetic and said we would get a refund on checkout. On checkout they didn't want to know, just have a nice day and off we go. They have no idea about customer service, the breakfast was terrible, don't stay here. Whatever you do, avoid this hotel.

A lovely hotel walking distance from The Strip in Vegas. Our room was an adequate size, with plenty of comfortable furniture and even a small fridge included in a standard King room. The breakfast was from 6 until 10, and better than average. There was coffee available through the day. The pool could have been a little larger, but for the price this stay was excellent value, recommended to anyone capable of walking over a bridge.

Terrible service. Toilet leaked and began to flood bathroom and the employees at the front desk made very little effort to help. They showed very little concern. It was a hassle to get another room. They were not accommodating whatsoever. And one had an attitude the entire time. He had no people skills. The phone and television in the room also did not work. Worst hotel experience. Avoid this hotel.

This is a hotel that has equipment like microwave, fridge in every room and toothbrushes and many other things… "Come and see" you will not be on it.

Structure without large claims. Clean enough and very large rooms.

Clean rooms. Efficient staff. Decent breakfast. Convenient location to the strip at half the price and None of the smoke. Parking is decent. Intersection can get congested. But lots of eats around the hotel.

The Hampton in was very clean from lobby to the conference rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel is located just off the 15 freeway. I highly recommend it.

It was, very clean, very organized. The wokers are very nice. The location is very nice, nesr restaurant, shop and a market.

We spent 4 nights there in April 2015 and want to specifically thank Robert K. Because of his excellent customer service! I am a Hilton Honors member and Robert went out of his way by giving us a wonderful upgraded room with a view of the strip. He was very professional and accommodating, The hotel was a perfect place for us to enjoy our trip. We highly recommend this hotel while visiting Vegas for leisure or business.

Check-in (with Jeannie) only took 3 minutes, and I was in a hurry, so I was pleased. Jeannie was also very helpful when she asked about how my stay was going, I asked for a vacuum of a tiny graham cracker crumb spot of the room, and they did that within 10 minutes, while I waited in their comfortable lobby and enjoyed coffee. When I couldn't figure out the TV remote, I called her, and she knew just what to do, because the "guide" button doesn't list channels, so I was confused. Kevin and Pam at breakfast were so kind, they helped my 10 year old with the waffle maker, always smiled, and made conversation with many in the breakfast room. They bent over backwards for us, and offered us an opportunity to grab more before breakfast ended. The breakfast was also, "inspiring" and met my standards with a great variety, and with fresh food. The housekeeping staff member I interacted with was wonderful, when she showed up at 10:30 a. M, but I requested that she come back at 11:30 a. M to clean for our second night. I believe her name was Gretta. The rooms were clean, smelled nice, and were comfortable. Showers, sinks, and toilet worked to my satisfaction. I felt safe in the room. Beware of ordering room service through an unrelated company, (Order Inn) but the menus are in the rooms. They took 1.5 hours for my dinner, but also added a $3.50 charge without disclosing it. Also, if you want to be close to fine dining, there are no restaurants nearby.

Recently remodeled and located just 1/2 mile from the strip. Convenient and clean. It is a hotel to check out, if you don't want to be on the strip. Complimentary breakfast, internet, business center and fitness center. NO resort fees. Welcoming staff and plenty of meeting space.

Service is terrible, old and dated, in need of a remodel. Check-in process took a very long time, very slow and only 1 staff working when there was a long line. The room is noticeably old and not very clean. The Internet is rather slow. The blow dryer in my room does not function after calling the front desk to get someone to get me another one, this person never showed up. The room rates are high for what you get, you can stay at a resort on the strip for half of the price.

Our family's first trip to vegas, we stayed at hampton inn, tropicana. It was a good hotel with nice, comfy rooms and free wife plus a business room with a printer. In las vegas, it is very unusual to get free breakfast, but we got free breakfast which was very good plus free parking. The security was pretty good and it was close to main highways, mgm grand and aria hotels. Overall the check in was smooth and easy and so was the check out. I would recommend it for a family or a business traveler. riz and family from nj.

In our 24-day vacation with stays in some 12 places, the Hampton Inn Tropicana stands out as the best by far. Almost one factor contributed to this pleasant experience: the people at the front desk; specifically: Michelle and Lauren. These two ladies were the face of the hotel. They were first-rate professionals: extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, problem solvers, accommodating, very pleasant to deal with. I can go on for a while but you get the picture, they simply left nothing to be desired. After a very nasty experience with Hertz (car rental) on Badura Ave. (Las Vegas), the hospitality we received in this place was greatly appreciated. Here are other factors that helped make the stay comfortable: The room didn’t have a refrigerator but when we asked for one it was delivered in less than 30min, with no hand extended for a tip. The included breakfast was a class act, really vintage Hilton class, plentiful, good quality, large variety attended to by very polite and conscientious staff in a very pleasant setting. The front desk stored our luggage until check-in time and from checkout time until the hotel’s courtesy shuttle took us to the airport. During our stay, the courtesy shuttle took us to other casinos. The “Business Center” was quiet and well equipped with printers, paper, etc. The hotel is 0.6 mile west of the strip, a short taxi or public bus (#201) ride to the strip in hot mid-day sun.

I stayed at this hotel over Memorial day weekend. The hotel is very clean and the beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice plus with several selections available. The pool was nice and cold, which was very nice on such hot days. They do have a shuttle to the strip, but it does not bring you back. This was not an issue for me since I had my car and I just used the valet at the large hotels I wanted to go in too. The hotel was pretty quiet, except I could hear people coming in and talking in the hallway. There was plenty of parking and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is a very nice hotel, not like the huge hotels, but no stinking cigarette smoke either. They did have a bar that opened after 5 PM. I would definitely stay there again.
