I love this hotel, we have been for a week and probably we have to stay for 2 more. It is super clean, great spaces, it has a nice kitchenette, they serve free breakfast. I fully recommend this place.

Wonderful rooms. Everything is clean and all of the staff is very nice. The back yard is fun to hang out in and the pool is a nice place to relax in the evening.

I truly can't understand how this Westin-operated hotel has received any of the positive reviews that is has (? ). First of all, you shouldn't offer "Mountain View" rooms if none of your rooms actually face the mountains without being obstructed by the building next store or the highway, especially when the building is only 4 stories tall. The standard room is just that. Standard. The blah grey cabinetry along side the plain white walls makes for nothing appealing to walk into. Very unimaginative in my opinion. The worst part of the stay. Specifically requested a room when making the reservation to NOT be close to the elevator, and they put me in a room DIRECTLY across from the elevator! Really didn't sense any concern to care for the guest when I mentioned it to the desk. Live and learn I guess.

See my post about the poor experience here! Looks like hotel may not have posted my post, and since we are still waiting thought I would share the poor experience. We booked the hotel months ago. We have several family members staying here for dad’s bday. We booked two adjoining rooms since we were traveling with kids. Upon arrival we find out hotel is under construction/renovation, including the lobby which has been full of dust, noise and smells of paint and such. We weren’t told when we booked or prior to arrival about the construction. However, our adjoining room necessity meant upon arrival we were told we had to stay on third floor, but could only do so for one night. Had to check out by 10am this morning to move to newly renovated room on fourth floor. Although not anything we wanted to do, they offered us a token $50 credit for rooms. We had no choice and checked out of our first rooms to move to our new rooms by 10am (hotel even sent someone to our room at 9am and knocked and disturbed us). Guess what — surprise — unlike the promise last night rooms weren’t ready this AM, so had to check bags and disrupt our plans and continuous multi night stay here. Now it’s the middle of afternoon and rooms aren’t ready still — they were still cleaning them (glad to see getting us in our rooms was a priority). Staff at front desk acted as if our problem because of the rooms “we required” (the adjoining room for our kids).

The entire hotel lost water through no fault of their own. We returned late in the evening to discover our room was one of two that remained without water. The staff was non-plussed. We asked if they could provide us with a room to use for bathing etc. Until our check out in the morning. They then failed to tell cleaning staff we were using the room and refused us entry. Then cut off the access to the room several hours before our departure without notifying us first. Staff stated they would refund $50. To date, no refund has been received. We have called twice and emailed. Very frustrated. Very dissapointed. Will never stay at an Element again.

Wow definitely my favorite hotel in all of Vegas. I used to live in Vegas so I like stay away from the strip. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good. I always like a hotel that serves hot cooked breakfast and the way you want it as well. The location is awesome. Near a gas station Incase you need anything or the store in the hotel is too expensive for your budget. 2 turns and you’re on the 215. Also the room was really spacious and felt like I could really stretch out.

Hotel was pretty nice. Easy access from the freeway. The bed was a little stiff for my taste. And the couch had dog hair on it, which transferred to my suit coat. The AC worked great (so nice when it's 110 outside). And the shower was awesome.

Excellent service. Awesome rooms! Only issue was shower either so hot melt your face off or freezing cold.

This is the best place to stay either for a week or an outdoors/LV style weekend get-away. It's less than half an hour to either the Strip or Red Rock Canyon. Great breakfast included, convenient and saving time. We've been staying here half a dozen times since 2012, frequently we traveled with our dogs and we find this place is the most user-friendly and clean.

No valet charge (no valet to worry about). No extra resort stupid fees here. No pool charge to sit under shade. No charge for a buffet-free breakfast buffet :) no charge for gym. No extra charge to breathe. I hate the strip casinos Stay at these instead. Westin properties always nice. Nobody eyeballs you. Bbq grill outside near pool and nice sitting areas grass and trees. If want a casino red rock not far to go. Rooms nice, cozy and had little kitchen with real fridge and not drunk loud people yelling I'm in Vegas b*tch thru the walls or in hallways.

Visited for a seminar the front desk guy made some awesome coffee.

Great Value Clean Service very spacious rooms.

The location of this hotel was great for us to be at for mountain biking. That being said when we arrived and asked about bike storage that was offered to us over the phone we were told they didn't have enough space and that we could take our bikes to our room. Well the room wasn't big enough for the bikes either. We ended up having the bike shop next door store them for us overnight as we were renting a bike from them the next day. Normally I am not sure that the shop would have stored or bikes for us either. The next morning we were awoken by the fire alarm a little before 8. When I enquired as to why the alarm went off someone apparently was cooking in their unit kitchenette and burned something so bad the smoke ended up in the hall and set off the building alarm. I know this is just one of those things, but it did ruin our sleeping in and the front desk played it off like it wasn't a big deal. Given the other hotels in the area I'm not sure we will be back to this hotel. We were hoping that since it was a Westin chain it would be "nice" but overall I'm disappointed in our stay.

This a clean, relaxing gambling free hotel. My favorite hotel in Vegas. Close enough to go to the strip but far enough to get away from the crazy.

The element Las Vegas is a well-run less expensive hotel about 8 miles from the strip. The rooms are clean, large and come with microwaves, refrigerators and sinks. It's a place that you can cook your own food. The staff was professional and there's a small convenience store in the lobby as well as a nice large area to relax or meet people. I really have no complaints and even the gym is reasonable for the price.

Rooms are really nice, the full sized kitchen is really useful. The location is a bit far if one intends to visit the strip. Breakfast has a good selection.

It was really pretty and clean. It also had a really chill vibe as soon as you walked into the lobby. It was great:)

Great hotel for having clean and big room. My room had full size refrigerator, microwave and stove. Hotel provides nice buffet breakfast. I recommend this hotel.

Off strip with lots to do. Lots of near by shopping. Great selection of restaurants around that won't break the bank. Local casinos are cleaner and not over ran.

Friendly, fast service. Super modern rooms, very spacious and comfortable. Dog friendly was a huge plus. Highly recommended and will be back for sure.

The room was very clean and very suitable for a working Traveler. The staff are extremely nice and very helpful. Their coffee is really good. The bed is comfortable. I would definitely recommend to a friend or colleague.

Very clean, eco friendly hotel with a saltwater pool. Pet friendly, large rooms, minutes from strip and malls. Gym too, with small convenience store. Small, healthy, as in no bacon, continental breakfast. Very nice staff. Smaller hotel, with no gambling inside. Has nice kitchen, large showers only, comfy beds, sectional couches, desk, large window, awesome AC, very limited TV stations. Views of the mountains, close to freeway, stores, and restaurants. Very healthy neighborhood too. Bicycle shop located next door, gas station a 2 doors down. Coffee shop across the street. Would recommend.

It is a beautiful hotel! Everyone is very nice. I didn't actually stay there. I was there for an interview but it was still beautiful from what I saw. I would like to go back and stay there for a staycation!

Always a great experience! A breakfast buffet is included, which is also delicious. The customer service is also always great and the rooms are always very clean!

They're rude I had personal items that I brang myself they assumed were theirs and it wasn't they then tried to accuse me of stealing there property which didn't belong to them. They woman couldn't speak any English at all her lead them told me to shut up and it's her turn to talk before I could explain what was occurring I spent well over 1000 dollars here and if I'm spending my money I would appreciate it if I got the service that I want and need period I barely bother room service took my trash out myself all of that. It's a nice place to stay but housekeeping is highly disrespectful. And I will not stand for it. I will be filing against them for my property that was taken that clearly you could see was mine. They even tried taking my grandmothers ashes and her urn.

I didn't actually spend the night. Was just checking it out in advance for planning an overnight. Staff was so friendly and helpful. And the public bathroom, entryway, lobby and pool area were clean and welcoming! I still have this place on my want to stay there list!

This place earned 5 stars for many reasons. They were dog friendly, so that was a big plus for me and my girlfriend. The room we got had a kitchenette, that to me was the best thing ever since it allowed us to cook our own food. The location is separated from the strip, but it has everything you would need close by. It has a cycle gym next door to it, a gas station right at the corner, a Wal-Mart down the freeway that's surrounded by other stores for shopping needs. The rooms feel like studios more than hotel rooms. The strip is a 15 to 20 minute drive from here, so it's not terrible. I would highly recommend this hotel of you don't mind driving into the strip.

We stayed at the Element for one night. This hotel is a few miles away from the strip, but it was kind of nice to be able to escape the craziness of the Las Vegas strip. We were able to get an early check in and late check out with no hassle whatsoever. The receptionist who checked us in (I believe her name was Jessenia, I apologize if I'm not remembering that correctly) was very friendly and personable. She also remembered us later that day (even our room number) when we grabbed a few things from the little snack store in the lobby.
Our room was clean and very nice. We stayed in a room overlooking the mountains, which was awesome. We had a full kitchen in our room which we really loved. It feels very upscale, but not ostentatious in any way.
The breakfast the next morning was pretty good. There were several options from pancakes, sausage, and eggs to pastries, cereal, and fresh fruit.
I would definitely recommend the Element if you are looking for a more low-key Vegas hotel experience, especially people traveling with kids.

I have stayed here many weeks while working in Vegas. Great customer service, friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds w/ breakfast and evening snacks. I highly recommend!

Loved the hotel and the amenities, however, our room did not have soap when we first arrived, the shower had a few hairs. Other than that we loved the breakfast, front desk responded right away to our requests, and enjoyed our stay.

This is a nice place and we liked the large comfortable rooms. However we were kept awake by a bunch of barking dogs in the room next door. When I pay top dollar to stay in a nice place I don't expect to be bothered by dogs. That's what Motel 6 is for. I won't be back until they change their pet policy.

Absolutely love this place. No extra charge for our dog, very good breakfast, eco friendly, free Wi-Fi, adapter box to plug in your USB/HDMI devices. Super friendly service even when checking in at 1:00 AM.

Very stylish, modern feeling. Annoying that there wasn't a bar. Also: no ice to be found except in the store. You'd think with a freezer they would have ice in there. Pleasant staff for breakfast. One issue is perplexing: everyone I spoke with agreed the built in shampoo conditioner in the bathroom left your hair feeling waxy.

Excellent hotel. We stayed here for 21 nights while on a medical (surgery) trip for my mom. The staff — cleaning, kitchen, front desk, maintenance, all of them — — were kind, professional and attentive to our every need. The room was clean, and so convenient with a full kitchen — even a dishwasher! The breakfast was good and we LOVED the afternoon snacks offered Monday — Thursday. For the 4th of July week, they offered a full meal in the afternoon one day that week. Housekeeping was amazing! Front desk people were friendly and went out of their way to help our mom during her surgery recovery. Special thanks to Vince and Chris for the personal and professional attention. I would stay here again if we are ever back in the Vegas area. Will recommend to family and friends as well.

I love how friendly the staff is and how clean the hotel is. Plus the morning breakfast was delicious w a nice variety and the best part no long lines to check in/out.

My business partners and I were in a meeting in this Element Hotel in Summerlin. After we all left the meeting I realized that I left my sling bag inside the meeting room with $10, 000 cash and other important documents on it. I asked our friend who was with us in that meeting to contact the hotel since she is the one who made the reservations for our meeting, to ask the hotel staff to put aside my bag and leave it at the front desk. I drove back to this hotel and upon arrival asked the front office staff on duty to let me in the meeting room. When he let me in the room I saw my sling bag and immediately checked the contents of my bag. I realized that $10, 000 in cash was missing. I asked to see the General Manager and told him of the theft. The manager said he would pull out the cctv video recordings and the key log entry reports for the meeting room as it has an automatic self lock mechanism. He also said one person entered the room after our meeting. We called the police dispatch to file a report but it was quite busy and they told us it would be a few hours since almost all the police force were at the EDC event that night. We waited until 12midnight and no police officer showed. On Monday of June 22, 2015 I filed my police report at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. My personal experience with this hotel was terrible and I don't see the sincerity of the General Manager and the front office staff to assist us in resolving the theft incident.

Emergency trip to Vegas area 05/16/15-mom in ICU; Quadruple Bi-pass surgery after heart attack. Booked a room online at this hotel at 11:43pm. Upon check-in (attempted) realized I hadn't done transfer from savings to checking, so card declined because of required deposit. Tried to do transfer online but Chase was doing maintenance on site. Tried to give clerk $1000.00 cash just so I could lay head down. No go. Left at 12:30am to try to find a Chase atm nearby to do transfer. No luck. I was SO tired I was falling asleep. Ended up sleeping in lobby at hospital. Before falling asleep I called the hotel to let them know I wouldn't be able to make it back and was told I would be charged because the "cancellation threshold" expired 05/15/15 at 6pm! Explained I just made the reservation at 11:43pm 05/16/15. I was SO stressed and exhausted I was having a difficult time grasping what I was being told. The person on other end of phone was unmoved and kept repeating that I hadn't cancelled the reservation in time! That time being 30hrs BEFORE I even knew I'd even be sleeping anywhere than in my own bed because my mom would be having a massive heart attach and being rushed in for surgery! I'm on phone with Chase Bank filing a "stop payment dispute". I'll also be pursuing every other avenue to let potential customers know how customer unfriendly this establishment is. I just don't have $130.00 to give to Element Las Vegas Summerlin.

I am displeased with the service received. My fiancé and I are planning our wedding and hoped to reserve a room block for family at Element Las Vegas Summerlin. He contacted Director of Sales, Courtney, via email on 3/1; I placed a call in the middle of the same week and spoke with a young lady (name escapes me). She was unable to accommodate my request. I phoned again twice this week (3/9) for the Director, Courtney, to call or respond via email to my fiancé. Courtney has the young lady call me back, to possibly give me the same answer. I wish not to speak with her; I wish to speak with Courtney or the Manager of the property to discuss my concerns. I contacted the property this morning (3/11) at! 0:50am and I am still on hold. I am a bride who wishes to reserve a room block. Customer service is not a concern of this property (I have several options living in Vegas). Maybe the Element prefers I take my business elsewhere.

Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. Rooms are fantastic for business travelers who may like to cook for themselves as all rooms have full kitchens, well except an oven. But full fridge, dishwasher, sink, all the things you need.

Very simple layout. Nice amenities including free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, kitchenette with plates and utensils, pool, and free outdoor gas grill.

Enjoyed my stay. Pet Friendly, work out room, swimming pool, with complimentary breakfast. Modern swagg to the room with kitchen, pleasant view. Would recommend to friends. Love you boo.

Everyone kept commenting about being clean. Black floor, you can't see dirt! My son drop water on the floor (Black Stamp Concrete) and I took the towel and wipe it up the whole towel turn black n black. I started to wears flip-flop. The service is every 3 days before the staff do a full cleaning to safe cost but marketed it as green hotel, smart. :) The staffs at the front desk some are good, but the assistance manager (Brendon) think he owned the place, young group of upper management with no knowledge of family values. He even threaten me about not be able to redeem my point. Like I care to be member of Starwood never benefit me anyway. I have not call Starwood Prefer Guest yet. :) I had issued with my credit card from fraud department, just moved from NY to Summerland and he told me its a felony not paying the bill, I been paying him over $2, 100 USD to dates and my balance was only $300+ UDS, the card was sent to NY address as I asked to sent to the bank is Las Vegas. I told him will catch up the next day with cash he demand I pay in full daily. He had it out to me since the day when I checked in he was asking who gave me a cheaper rate. I made deal with one of his staff and she agreed base on my 15+ nights. He said no one told him while he was the one authorized it. I never had a criminal record and I am Private Equity group manages million of dollars. I been a member of Starwood since 1997 from W, Manhattan while I used to parties and always pay my bills.

Modern, clean, reasonably priced and in a great area conveniently located near the 215. Very pet-friendly as well. Major + for the excellent complimentary breakfast. Delicious egg and sausage breakfast burritos and strawberry smoothies.

This was great for my family and I. We have a toddler, so we didn't want the late night noise and cigarette smoke that comes with a casino on the Strip. This hotel is non-smoking and does not have a casino. They also have a terrific free breakfast every morning. The rooms are suites, which meant our daughter could sleep in the living room while my wife and I had a bedroom to ourselves. We didn't use the kitchen much, but was nice to have a place to keep milk and snacks. Even the pool is made for families with a big 6-inch deep section that was perfect for our daughter to splash in. I will definitely stay here again next time we go to Vegas as a family.
