Nicest staff ever! Prices great! Room was awesome for the price! This will be our go to hotel from now on in Jackpot! We also really liked the food in the bar and the continental breakfast. Thank you West Star! We will be back! Jake & Nicole Snowball.

Not clean, not organized, spiders in the bathroom, hard bed & continental breakfast was a joke. The whole experience was horrible & gross. The two gentlemen running the place were very polite & nice and tried to be accommodating, but didn't have much to work with.

Ok, this a extremely inexpensive motel so we didn't expect much. It was better than expected (after experience in cheap ones in Las Vegas area). Overall the place is clean, has a pleasant staff and comfortable room. The place is a bit threadbare, especially the carpets. The ice machine was broken. They provide a basic breakfast — juice, coffee, rolls, toast, hot & cold cereals, waffle and fruit. For an overnight it was all we needed and would stay again.

Was an absolute awesome place had a issue with RTV the guy at the desk fixed it immediately moved us to another room and did it all without even worrying about it and then check back in with us when we were leaving to make sure that everything was still okay I'd highly recommend it for a quick stay.

Enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good.

This place has a great little bar and grill. Free pool and fun bar games. Also according to my smoker friend the cheapest smokes in town. All the "bar food" was great and drinks were strong. I wish the jukebox was louder is the only down side.

Inexpensive, pets allowed, but could improve its cleanliness.

Good little Hotel Casino. Rooms could be updated but a friendly place with a great bar with pool tables and slots. A lot of locals hang here.

If the carpets could talk… if all you want is a place to sleep you will have that on an old spring mattress, and you can enjoy the hand full of channels while you lay there. Enjoy an orange and cereal for breakfast… it’s free! I hear they are going to get English Rosetta stones for their staff soon… I don’t give low ratings for places, with that I would have given this place 3stars if the price would have reflected the room.

Desperately in need of new ownership! My husband booked us a king with balcony and a huge shower. When checking in he tried to persuade us into a double queen. We finally got a room not the one we had booked online but we didn't want to waste anymore time since checking in almost took an hour. Later on that night we developed a full body rash from the sheets on the bed. We did not receive house keeping the entire stay (2 day's) & had to reuse towels, sheeting & pillows. The water pressure in the shower was like you were bathing from a drinking fountain it was brown water. The shower curtain had never been washed yellow stains in the bottom of it. Some towels had hair & makeup on them. The next day they rented our room out so another couple had walked in our room. Then our toilet busted & was shooting out water. The breakfast was way to small only a few people got to eat. The second day they rented out our room once again. Then the door wouldn't lock so the door would randomly open. The elevator door kept opening then it started to move with the door still opened. There was no certificate of current maintenance located anywhere on or in the elevator. So needless to say if you want to experience a terrible stay at a motel this is the place!

The room was somewhat clean. This is the only positive. I reserved a room with a king size bed because I wanted a room with a king size bed. Upon check-in they tried to stick us in a room with 2 queens. We reserved the room for 2 nights. While hauling our stuff up to the room. We found our door does not latch unless slammed quite hard. Everything has a very strong industrial chemical smell. The elevator is on it’s last legs, it makes very scary noises, does not seem to know when to stop, the doors have to make a few attempts before they actually close. The shower has no water pressure at all, it is absolutely impossible to take a shower with the water pressure present. You would get a better shower from a drinking fountain. We were skipped over by house keeping so we got no new towels (like we could shower anyway), our trash cans we’re full, no clean bedding, no refill on coffee for our coffee pot, new cups, and no toilet paper refill. Our second day here we went to the room around 3 PM to take a nap, when we awoke we heard a click…click…click, when I went to see what it was the door opens in my face to other guests walking in…. They checked our room out to someone else while we were still in it and while we still had it another day. Our final morning here 4 hours before checkout while we were still sleeping we were awoken to a click, click, click, yes, they checked our room out a second time to someone while we were still in it.

Don't be fooled by the photos… That is NOT what the rooms look like… At all. Here now and there is a hole in the wall by the TV, the lamp is missing the bulb, one wall has black marks all over it, the bed covers are old and worn, the carpet is old, stained and worn. Front desk doesn't have a clue, said nonsmoking at checkin and has 2 ashtrays in it. Smoke detector is missing with loose wires sticking out of the wall! That can't even be to code. Do NOT stay here unless you don't mind subpar accommodations. Definitely bring your own pillows, sheets, blankets… Wish I could post a picture so you could see.

This place had last-minute availability, great rates, reasonable room space, good service AND offer make your own waffles during the free continental breakfast offered in the morn. Can't go wrong if they have the waffles!

Stay there every 12/24 Christmas eve nice rooms breakfast a little bit more add to it would be nice its very quiet there nice owners love it see you next year!

Room were filthy. Walls were dirty. Carpet was old and dirty. Room needed aired out. Stains on chairs and box springs. Cigarette burns in furniture and bedding. T. V. From the 90's. Building in disrepair.

I would give it ZERO stars. Rooms are grimy looking with scuffs all over the walls, and the carpet looks like it's been there since the 70s. The beds are so horrendous and uncomfortable that you will have the pleasure of being time warped to waking up to feeling like your 80 years old. It would be more satisfying to sleep on/in a cardboard box. We wanted to go gamble and stay the weekend but after one night we were beyond done. Honestly the only reason we stayed for one night is because we had and extra set of sheets in the car to make the bed feel safe enough to sleep on. The bedding is from ancient times an looks like they belong in a dog crate. There are no redeeming qualities for this joint. I've learned my lesson, never stay at a "2 star hotel. " Good luck to anyone that stays here… no worth the scare.

The hotel was a great place to lay your head after a long day of driving. Only thing is try to get on the 3rd floor as anyone who walks above you can be heard. That said the beds were comfy and the water got good and hot!

Filthy room. Bloody sheets. Stained pillows and blankets. Need more? Pubic hair everywhere. Dusty surfaces. Cigarette burns in the furniture. Stained chairs. Dead bugs in the mattress folds.

I'm having a hard time giving it one star. The room was decently clean (could use a vacuuming). We went to order dinner and they had 0/5 meals we tried to order. The only thing they had was pizza and the dough wasn't even stored properly. (Went to Barton's Club and had a good dinner with awesome service) They had it under where they keep the cold beer not in the freezer… When ordering we got ignored by the waitress and the gentlemen who I assume runs the Pony Express. He poured some liquor in his cup and went back into the office. The Wi-Fi password was not given to us and when we attempted to get it nobody was at the office for about 2 hours. The bathroom downstairs was absolutely disgusting as well, Puke all over the seats. Also if you want to have TV don't come here. They only have basic channels that don't even look good. So please spend a little more money and get a better hotel.

Our second stay here and thought there was just a cleaning over sight, but apparently not… Is there a vacuum cleaner ANYWHERE in the building? Floors are disgusting! Towels were dirty, blood on them. Apparently the maids don't change the towels out if they don't appear to be dirty! The halls are atrocious, elevator could probably start it's own science project, plus the cable's sound like they need replacing 10 years ago Our supposed non smoking room had a wiped out ash tray on the table I am SURE THE ONLY reason they get patrons is because the hotels whom actually care are booked! Needless to say, I will keep driving before I waste my money and risk my health to stay here again!

Very nice people that run this place! Price is great, clean and comfortable! And free breakfast when you stay!

It was cheap but the room was filthy and we asked for a clean pillow and linens never got them.

Booked through Expedia and late check in wasn't a problem. Driving from Washington state to Vegas and it was a perfect stopping point. The reviews on here are over exaggerated in parts. My boyfriend and I have stayed at tons of hotels and motels across the country. He's even worked at one before and this isn't a dump as it's made out to be! Jackpot is literally in the middle of nowhere. About 4-5 hotels make up the majority of the town. It was clean, had a decent breakfast selection, a few channels with CNN being one of them, and the bar downstairs had food available. We checked in after 10 and got two personal pizzas ordered before we took our belongings up. The bartender had them done within 20-25 minutes. Great for a stop in the desert to catch up on some Z's. Felt safe and desk clerk was very nice. For the price it can't be beat!

So it cost me $85.32 for a dive room at this hotel. Was supposed to be Non smoking room yet upon walking into room there are 2 ash trays and 2 packs of matches in them by the bed. The refrigerator didnt work and after checking on it found the compressor to be scortching hot. Had to unplug unit for fear of fire. Breakfast consisted of a trashed counter with waffle batter all over. Was Not impressed with this experience.

The room was decent and semi-clean for the price. The manager at the check in counter was friendly and helpful. My one complaint was the service at the bar in the attached casino. I asked for a menu, and he just pointed to the other end of the counter. I decided on a pizza and some wings, I tried to get his attention a few times but he kept walking away? It was really strange I would wave and say excuse me but he would completely ignore me and walk to another part of the bar. I ended up just leaving without food. The breakfast in the morning wasn't great, pretty much the bare minimum, waffle maker, cereal and juice.

Nice little place. When you walk into the lobby it seems a little empty but the rooms are nice and clean. We orders pizza and it was better than expected. The breakfast was also good. Overall the place looks bad but it's actually really good. It's worth a stay.

Room was very clean. Workers were very nice and polite. Alright food for a good price. Free breakfast has a surprising amount of food for a small self serve area. Accidentally gave us a dirty room at first but fixed it right away and gave us another. Parents had a great time at the casino and bar by the lobby. Would recommend for a cheap hotel. Don't judge from the outside!

I booked my reservation using the hotel website and never received an email confirmation. I went back to the website and clicked "contact us" twice to request an email confirmation and never had a reply. One reason I wanted a confirmation was to verify the price I would be paying. I did call and was finally able to confirm my reservation after some confusion and not being found in the system. She called back telling me she did find it. When I checked in my receipt showed $0.00. I asked her for a receipt showing me the amount I was being charged and she told me that wasn't possible because I made my reservation online! I have never encountered this before and I will make sure I use a booking site in the future if I stay here again. Other than all that the room was comfortable and quiet.

I have been in quite a few low cost hotels and although it is not the lowest cost in Jackpot Nevada it, it deffinatly rivals some of the high cost rooms you would find elsewhere in the city. I rented a king smoking room for two nights. The room is exceptional. Aside from the ashtrays when get in the room you would have never guessed it was a smoking room. It smelled clean. The bedding was clean but did not overly smell of bleach like most hotels do. The bed was comfortable. The only cons I found about the room was the TV reception was not the greatest. The shower head stands about 5'5" so it made me feel to tall for the shower. A few carpet stains from years of use.

Awesome little town we stopped for the night on our way to Idaho from Las Vegas.

I had my choice of all hotels in the area. And the young couple at the front desk were so accommodating and very kind over the phone compared to the rudeness I dealt with at the near by casino. I was tired and hungry coming from arizona and still have to make it to Seattle and the Management here made me feel very comfortable and like I was at home! The room is clean and cute with cold a. C. And my Chihuahua was welcomed also lol. Great deal for the price, cheap drinks at the bar and friendly people here. Im so glad I found this little get away of a hotel and there is slot machines with complimentary breakfast! Thank you peter! I definitely will be coming back to stay in my trip back!

This place is a dump. The casino is a bar with a few machines. The hotel and the rooms stunk of heavy smoke and were dirty. If something dropped on the carpet, you left it there. The room clerk was pleasant was the only good thing. They should close this place.

A disapointment from the beginning. If your looking for frills this is not the place. There is a coffee pot but the coffee was old! Dust on the whole unit. The tub was discusting, it appears there was standing water in tub before or something, the stained portion is still on tub walls, the faucet dripped and there was very low water pressure, they only give you 2 bath towels, the towels were so thin, my husband said they look like shop towels. I was sitting in room next morning, all of the sudden the door opened, it was housekeeping, I had NOT put the sign on door for cleaning, but since she was there I asked for extra towels, she barely spoke any english, she said she didn't have towels pointing to her cart. I would not stay there again, we overheard many other guests complaining about the place and one had said that they would not let them check out and go get another room elsewhere.

The rooms are not well kept. The towles looked dirty and smelled like mildew. There was several pieces of hair from the previous guests in the shower. I don't even want to know how gross the beds probably are. We got a room with two beds. Got only two towles. We asked for more. They never came. Plus the TV was broken, it had a purple hue to it. Not worth the money we saved at all. Oh and the beds are like sleeping on a piece of plywood.

This was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, lets start from the beginning shall we. We were going to visit Jackpot for the first time and decided to do it the inexpensive way, figured we would spend only the time sleeping in the hotel the rest would be at Cactus Petes. So we booked two nights at this hotel and left after just one night and forfeited our second nights pay. There was left over lower area hair in our bed, the ceiling was leaking, and there was hair and bugs in the bathroom. We booked the room for three people and there was only two towels in the room and didn't have soap or anything for the shower. There was also what looked like mold along the wall where the baseboard should have been, the carpet was really dirty, the hotel front desk people were ok, but dirty. The breakfast was so bad that we decided we would spend the money to eat at Cactus Petes instead. Please do yourself a favor and never stay at this hotel. Never go there.

WARNING! Do not stay here. My husband and I stopped here on our travels through Nevada. We checked in late and fell into bed. We got up in the morning, picked hair off of the tub with tissue, showered then discovered that we had slept in a peed, yes, peed, bed. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. I took pictures then complained to the "house manager". I was told that the best they could do was credit me 50%. I said no. He said that I would either contest the charge or call back on Monday after he talked with his supervisor. On Monday, nothing had changed so now we are contesting the charge. I am not paying half price to sleep in peed sheets!
