Service was excellent. Rooms were clean. Great value. However the rooms were too noisy. Dogs were barking and no one said anything. The toilets are hard to flush and when you do they make a ton of noise. The door to the outside slams shut and needs to be fixed. If the noise issues were fixed, it'd be a great hotel.

Rooms are okay but walls and floors as thin a paper! Beds were in the hard side. You can hear it every time someone in the neighboring rooms use and kind of water. The floors are vinyl not carpet so the noise travels. Got a noise complaint for walking around our room while we were getting ready for bed… so you better learn to tiptoe if you want to stay here!

The hotel is very clean but they hire thieves that steal property from guests so be cautious and keep your room locked. However the main manager William is a sweet heart though, so only deal with him, any of the others I would not trust especially Stacey, Kate and Julie. They are extremely shady and jealous. William must like me because he watches my dog and even gave me a room for free throughout the weekend for my troubles. At least they do take care of their guests as in my case, which is good for them because there would have been a big to do over all of this. Thank you William for being such a wonderful sweetheart to me.

Overall great experience. Room was clean and recently updated. I was surprised that some common amenities that I normally expect in the room such as an iron, hair dryer, or shampoo were not present. It wasn't until we were leaving that I noticed a piece of paper hanging near the elevator that said I would have to ask the front desk for those things. It would have been nice if I was told directly while checking in.

We were so pleasantly surprised with our room here! The staff was friendly both on the phone and in person, the room was clean, there wasn’t any traffic noise; it was such a good stay! After a long day in the car, it was nice ending the day here.

A very pet friendly motel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. All the floors were hard surface no carpet. Plenty of outdoor area for walking the dog. Would recommend for anyone traveling with a pet.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean, working and a very pleasant staff. I would recommend having a bench much farther from the door for staff to take a smoke break. There is no way to go inside without encountering smoke … Not good with allergies. This has been the only problem at all Motel 6s I have stayed at. Other than this, it's a great place to stay!

When I reserved, I requested a ground floor room as I cannot climb stairs and my service dog in training is not comfortable, yet, in elevators. I was never told this was not a possibility (I would have gone elsewhere) until after I checked in. I then had the choice of walking up and down 3 flights of stairs with my dog OR leaving him in my vehicle over night OR forcing him into the elevator. NOT happy! I booked through Motel 6 online and would have really liked the info ahead of time. I HAVE stayed there before with no issue. ALSO, the grounds were covered in remnants from the dogs (the review won't allow me to use the appropriate word). I can't believe people don't pick up after their dogs!

The room we stayed in was very clean, updated and modern. The front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel was in a good location near I90. The only things I wish it had were a pool and breakfast, but not every place has those amenities. I would stay in this motel again.

Staff was fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean. What more could you hope for in a cheap hotel?

The girl at the front desk that checked us in was super friendly. It was nice coming into a welcoming environment after being on the road for 14 hours. They were also able to accommodate our two Siberian huskies which was awesome. The room was clean and our stay was comfortable.

Our stay was very comfortable. I love how the rooms have been redone, and up to date. Very clean, warm, and pleasant. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating to our family. I would definitely recommend Motel 6 in Missoula to all my friends!

The young lady at the front desk that checked me in was wonderful. I had been driving for 12 hours and she was friendly and efficient. My room was simple, clean and perfect. The next day, my key wouldn't work, repeatedly, like 8 times! Each time I left my room, I had this problem. The person at the front desk told me I checked out, I assured her I hadn't, I had paid for two nights, she looked, and again told me I checked out. After I told her again, she re-keyed my card. I get to my room finally, only to hear someone, presumably maintenance, pounding and nailing upstairs right above my head, until 8 PM! When I went back down to the desk to ask them when he would be done, the person told me, and I quote, "He's very personable, why don't you go ask him when he'll be finished? " I went back to my room, blared the TV and took an Advil PM. I checked out the next morning, and the young man that checked me out was very apologetic, polite and professional. I'd like to to be able to give them 5 stars because some employees made it a great experience, but one whole day and one employee makes 5 stars NOT possible.

This was perfect for our situation. We have a brand new puppy and needed to be in Missoula for two days. This included sitting in the room for 24 hours while preparing for a medical procedure. I love that the floors were laminate rather than carpet. First of all carpets are dirt and grime magnets no matter how well they are tended. So without the pup I would have liked the flooring. But with the pup it was really great. I was taking him out every 2 hours so we didn't have accidents, but that meant tracking in a lot of mud. A moist paper towel and the floor was clean. The room overall was clean and looked very fresh. If you need silly pictures on the walls you might not like the blank walls. The bed was not rock hard. The pillows were soft enough. My husband and I really enjoyed the bathtub shower that had a built in seat. We were not charged extra for our pet. They put us on the first floor three doors from an exit. Making taking the pup out very convenient. There were numerous pet owners sharing this pet friendly motel. Right next to the motel was a large field which was great for walking the pup. I would recommend this Motel 6 to anyone especially if you have pets. And I already have. The staff that I had contact with were courteous and helpful.

When in Missoula for a few weeks on a temporary assignment I stayed here more days than I care to count. It's easy to access from the interstate. It's a newer facility that is clean. The rooms are somewhat utilitarian, but in good working order. The mattresses a bit firm, but I still slept well. Wifi is free, but adequate. The front desk staff addressed my needs. The parking was quite ample, good for semis too. Best of all it was more affordable than most while still being safe and clean.

The reservation was easy to make. The motel was easy to find. Desk staff were pleasant and helpful. A small thing that would be helpful is to have an electrical outlet next to the bed, maybe wired next to the switch for the bed lamp. I'm sure I'm not the only one who needs to charge their phone at night, but also needs to have it next to the bed for alarms, important calls, etc.

Haven't stayed at a motel 6 in years. The room was clean. It was cold outside and even after turning up the heat the room did not warm up and it didn't help that other then a sheet there was only a thin cover on top of the bed. I also would recommend blow dryers in the rooms. I have never stayed at a hotel where there hasn't been one. If you wanted basic supplies like shampoo etc… and a blow dryer you needed to go to the front desk. I realize this is a budget hotel but these items should be in the rooms.

Motel 6 is a very cost effective place to stay. Doesn't have all the amenities of a 5 star hotel, but it's always clean and friendly staff. Definitely some odd people that stay there as well, but always been a good experience!

Our stay could have been better, but considering the amount we paid it was great. We didn't like how loud it was in our room, being on the ground level and right next to the outside door. We could hear pipes rattling, door open/closing, and water running… all amplified by the hardwood floors. But like I said. Considering we got two nights for 144.00 I think it was fine.

Everything was very good. The best part was the night auditor. He was very nice and professional. The coffee could have been better. The guy working the next morning was playing metal music with cuss words in it. Other than those two things everything was great.

It was just a quick trip to pick up a couple of seats. I’ve never really considered Motel 6 more than just a bed for the night, but you guys treated me well and it was more comfortable than other hotels I have stayed in at Missoula. Given the option, I will probably choose your hotel again.

The location is great, the view of the hill is nice, nice to be so close to a good restaurant. Nice to be so close to a walking trial. Very nice staff. Neat and clean lobby. I could hear the water/shower from room next to me, very noisey! The water in the sink never got hot. No channel guide in the room.

I would consider this hotel excellent for a bare bones hotel. Very Clean, Happy and Helpful staff. Definitely will stay again.

Sensible hard surface flooring and seating. Everything pretty clean except there was soil on floor by shelf between beds. Probably went unseen during cleaning. Staff very nice. Price excellent. We were exhausted & appreciated nice clean room with basic needs where our dog was welcome.

Room smelled kind of funky but not bad. Every thing was clean and in working order. Desk clerk was very pleasant and courteous. Imagine a room at one half to one third the price of surrounding hotels but just soap; no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion. Hardwood flooring but no DNA capturing carpeting. You're in the room overnight. What more do you need?

I have stayed at this motel many times in the last 20+ years. This time we were in room 125 near the lobby. It was very noisey! I know it is not your fault if you have in considerate guests but maybe there should be a sign or something to remind people that not everyone gets up real early. I like the look of your remodeled units but as the prices hit the $100/night range, you are not as competitive as you were at lower rates. The coffee is always good! The desk staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Very good value. Ordinarily wouldn't do a Motel 6 but I read the reviews this was a newer Motel in a good location. Nice staff.

Pros:Bathroom was nice and beds were comfortable. Staff were pretty nice and helpful though kind of weird. Cons: No blow dryer in the room; the TV had problems and would shut off without warning; no shampoo-only soap. Price was high for such a bare-bones hotel. Overall Impression: I would probably only book another room in this hotel if I had no other options.

Motel 6 has really stepped up their game since I was a kid… heck even 3 years ago. Every day of a road trip starts EARLY and ends LATE, so why pay more than necessary for something fancy? This suits our needs and is less scary/icky than when I was younger. THIS particular Motel 6 had clean rooms and lobby, a nice little separate room for the complimentary coffee and tea and parking was well lit! Just across the parking lot is a Cracker Barrel and close to shopping and other amenities. Had to wait for night manager when we arrived, then again when we left. Otherwise EXCELLENT stay!

The staff was very friendly and rooms are clean and spacious. If you are looking for a room for a good price this is your place.

Our stay at the motel 6 on Expo was great. The rooms were clean and the employees were extremely nice. We were previously booked at the motel 6 on Broadway and it was a nightmare. I can't say enough negative things about that hotel. Highly recommended the motel 6 on Expo though!

Daughter said it is so modern looking in here! Lol. Definitely noisy though so ask to be away from middle of 2nd floor where everything is, ice machine, elevator, etc.

For the most part, I thought this was a pretty nice motel for a Motel 6. It was overpriced, however. I also found them to be very "pet unfriendly" with their signs reading "keep pets off grass". I also found the "non-carpeted floors" undesirable and will avoid Motel 6 for that reason.

Our check-in experience was great. However, the beds were extremely hard and only had 1 blanket. The tub was very slippery and the water pressure was so strong it was actually painful. There was no trash can in our room which I found quite odd. An employee was smoking in front of the main entrance which forced us to walk through cigarette smoke on more than 1 occasion. I've stayed at Motel 6 for many years with rave reviews, but this particular location, needs help.

I cannot believe this is a Motel 6, this place is clean and Awesome! Better than most comfortable inns and best westerns. A must stay place!

We had a trainee help check us in. She wasn't super friendly, but the trainer was. The rooms were relatively clean although the attempt at "mod" decor was kind of sad. Looked and felt like a European hostel. The room was cheap and all-in-all, wasn't bad. Would stay there again.

It was a nice hotel. We got there late and they were so super sweet.

Great motel just off the freeway. Motel 6 has undergone an image overhaul, and it has worked out great, at least at this motel. Although the room was spartan, it was clean and sanitary. Wifi worked well, room was quiet. Will stay at again next time I am going through Missoula.

Stayed at Motel 6 near I-90 after towing my daughter's horse from Dillon. Heading home to Portland, OR and stopped for a night's rest. Absolutely fantastic gals working December 18th. Checked us in about 5 and made it quick and easy. Friendly staff, clean room and a decent TV, that's all we needed. And close to Cracker Barrel and a good pizza joint. I definitely would stay there again.

Best Motel 6 we've stayed in! Immaculate, friendly, quiet, with great amenities. Quiet heating/cooling system, inventive combo tub/shower/seat, lots of coffee kept fresh and on hand, nice sitting room etc.

Great location, great value. Perfect if you need a bed to sleep in and a hot shower.

I had a great 2 night stay! the room was clean, everything worked as it should, except the internet. For some reason no matter what I did I couldn't connect to the internet, whether it was on my laptop, phone, or kindle, I just couldn't connect. Other than that, my stay was as expected. The only problems I had were after the stay. I had left my kindle in the room and not realized until I got home and had unpacked my belongings that I noticed it was missing. I called the hotel and asked the desk clerk if it had shown up when the maid cleaned the room and they said no. I was surprised to hear that because, thinking back, I remember setting it on my bed when I was packing. I called back a couple more times to no avail, I talked to the morning manager and everything. My kindle had vanished into thin air. The only explanation I could think of was that one of the staff found it when cleaning my room after I left and decided they needed it more than whoever had rented the room. I know I am partially at fault for the loss of my kindle, but I figure the employees should have the decency to turn left items in to the front desk. Other than that my stay was fine, and I would probably stay there again.

I would give this place 5 stars except that the room did have a annoying plumbing or some kind of pipe sound that went all night! I booked a top room because of the previous Review about the plumbing sounds and I guess it is throughout the whole hotel!? We were in room 326 right off the elevator. We turn on the ac fan for the white noise and that sound overwhelmed it every 15mins! We had a strange wall in our room so if you have that funny wall then you will hear the plumbing sound. Is my guess. Otherwise — the room was great. I couldn't believe how modern the bathroom was with a granite counter top and above the counter sink! THIS IS A MOTEL 6!? wow! beds comfy — check. Pillows comfy and not flat — check. The Hotel Receptionist was super busy and he held it together fantastically! Phone ringing off the hook and he asked if he could call them back. He had a line of people and he proactively announced that he only had 3 rooms left so if they didn't already have a reservation that they may or may not get a room. I thought that was very good customer service! He set the expectation to avoid a very ticked off or frustrated customer. We will stay there again if we can avoid the "plumbing room".

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. No hair dryer, no Kleenex, no alarm clock, no iron, no carpet. The list is endless. It was so loud I was awake by 5:30 every morning because of the plumbing. Looks and feel like a hospital room. But hospitals have Kleenex.

Simmons bed, medium/firm was comfortable. Very modern model, but I recommend getting a top floor room due to floor noise and loud plumbing (we stayed in a middle floor room). Price here was affordable compared to neighboring motels. Our room did not have a microwave nor refrigerator, but I'm not sure that is the same for all rooms. Cracker Barrel restaurant is within short walking distance.
