Review of Rosebud Inn 3*

I planned on staying at the hotel for 3 nights last week. I arrived and my roommate checked into the hotel. When she walked out she said the women were very strange and not very friendly. We walked into our room and saw a bible. Open on a table. And the room stunk and the mattress felt like plastic. We decided to cancel the following two nights on expedia and were charged a $50 (for the one night). The hotel proceeded to charge us $67 on top of that. I went down to the front desk to speak about it. Obviously upset, but trying to work through it. One of the women pointed at me and said "That's not the girl that checked in. You were not on the ID. " I said. Do you want to see my ID? My roommate checked us in. And she got in my face. I then requested to step outside and call expedia and speak with my roommate about what we might do in this situation. I was followed by a hotel employee up to my car. She wrote down my plate number and walked up to my door. I opened it. Now very upset and asked what she was doing. She continued to harrass me to come down and pay my bill. We weren't planning on leaving and I was not planning on going anywhere. I'm 25 and a very respected young woman. I'm not an immature kid (trying to get away with something), as I think they assumed I was. Even though I felt very strongly against this establishment, I paid my bill and told the employee that "I didn't think she should be following people to their cars. " We then left. Only to receive a call from a manager 30 minutes later harrassing us about the folks at the hotel feeling threatened by what I said. I'm sorry but I'm a 120 pound, 5 foot 5. White woman. Are you kidding me? And I know what a threat is. I didn't threaten anyone. No apology was given by the manager and he was extremely rude. Defending his staff over his customers. I won't be back. I have had some bad hotel experiences. Nothing as horrible as this.
