Review of The Cliffs at Peace Canyon 3*

We have been coming here since 2003 through RCI. While we have many options to choose from when visiting Vegas, this is our favorite. It's about 20 minutes off the strip and 10 minutes from Red Rock Casino. The location is perfect and away from all the hustle of Vegas. It really feels like our home away from home. They have 1 and 2 bedroom furnished units (apartments) featuring a full kitchen with all the basic essentials to do your cooking and a washer/dryer in each uni…t. I love that each unit also features a nice balcony with a table and chairs… they will bring more chairs if you ask. The master bedroom has a king size bed, TV, large bathroom with tub/shower and a walk-in closet with a safe for all your valuables. They provide towels and a blow dryer so no need to bring those items. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a closet and TV. There is also a 2nd bathroom in the 2 bedroom units with a good sized stand up shower. The living room has a sectional couch with a fold out bed… and it's actually very comfortable. The kitchen table seats 6. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This is a timeshare resort so there is someone from a timeshare company who will offer you a visit with a rep if you like… but they are not pushy if you decide otherwise. The resort offers a free shuttle to various locations, but we always rent a car so we haven't ever used this service, but it is nice they offer it. If you need more supplies (toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, etc…) they have it available at the front desk. The office area has a computer room with a printer so no need to bring your laptop. You can print your boarding passes for your travel or catch up on emails 24/7. The resort also has a nice sized pool, hot tub, and exercise room. They also have BBQ grills and a fireplace. I'm sure I'm forgetting something… they have thought of everything you may need to make your vacation spectacular. The area has been growing. Every year we return there is something new in the vicinity. There is so much to do within less than a mile that you don't even have to go to the strip. There is something for everyone. I highly recommend checking out the local strip mall just behind Sears. You can find anything from getting a massage, pampering yourself to a mani/pedi, or finding some good food at Rollin' Smoke BBQ — it's amazing! We also like to go to Egg Works on Flamingo for breakfast. There are grocery stores on every single corner within less than 1/2 a mile from the resort. I highly recommend this place. The kitchen area could be updated with better countertops, but if you don't require a marble slated slab to prepare your food you will still be impressed with this place. Overall, the units have a nice layout that makes you think… I could live here!
