Mold and paint peeling, oven throwing sparks, lights flickered, none of the fire alarms were working, soft deck boards. Total health and safety hazard! Considering it was $6, 000 for the week, we expect a lot more!

I love this place! It is awesome fun with good friends.

Security/maintenance man that cleans the spider webs off the docks is very unprofessional! Parked my truck and trailer beside the cabin on the gravel parking area and took friends out on the lake for a night ride. We come back to pickup some more friends that we’re going to stay with us around 11 pm. They were berated and harassed by this gentleman! They warned me about the situation as I was coming back, I pulled up and asked what’s the f$&&ing problem and he got irate threatening to call the cops and removing me from the property. Sad thing is we’d stayed in the very same cabins 2 months prior without any issues! And parking in the very same spot. Sadly I’ll never return to this place.

Stayed here this weekend for a bachelor/bachelorette party in the 6 bedroom cabin and it couldn’t have been more accomodating! Plenty of space for our group of 15, nice outdoor pool and private dock area for swimming and relaxing. Very friendly office staff as well! Highly recommend Lakeview Resort.

We just got back from a stay in cabin The views were some of the most beautiful we have seen, the sunsets were perfect — however the bugs on our deck area were so terrible we could not even be outside from early morning hours until about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Even some evenings were terrible. Finally the lawn was mowed on our last day and that maybe helped a little bit? The resort had a lot of activities for the kids which was nice. Everything just needs updating — for example the swim dock — where we spent the majority of our time just needs overall updating/repair. The inside of our cabin was very spacious and well laid out, it just had a lot of bugs and everywhere could have used some updating and better cleaning. Overall, I would recommend the resort although I felt for the price we paid, the resort should have been more updated and I wish we could have used our outdoor space.

They have a lot of family friendly activities to do right on the grounds. Surrounded by the lake and hearing the waves crash in and the amazing sunsets is priceless.

Spent 3 nights during the Covid-19 pandemic, so we could escape as well as social distance. Was our home away from home and was wonderful. Since we were on the bike they graciously supplied bath towels Was a great weekend, although some issues. Had jacuzzi in our room but not near enough hot water, had to boil water on stove to fill it Some bad/soft spots in floor. Water pressure to shower was insufficient Office/shop closed due to the pandemic Was a torrential down pour when we were supposed to check out, but again they graciously allowed us an additional 2 hours to wait out the thunderstorm Anxiously awaiting to return post Corona and enjoy all the amenities, that were closed during our stay.

Great place to gather the family.

Beautiful peaceful resort. No excessive partying and a nice family environment. We stumbled on this place by accident and lucked into a room that had just been remodeled with a beautiful lake view. We were so impressed that we have booked the bunk house and a condo for our family over labor day. Nothing fancy but a boat load of activities available to choose from with restaurants and shopping close by. Some of the buildings are in need of some repairs but overall we were very happy with our visit. See ya soon!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin, living area was very spacious and decor was great! Short walk to the pools, water and office. Our family had a blast and can’t wait to do it again!

Do not recommend. Unit 303 had a huge crack & mold on the ceiling as well as stains on the lampshade. A constant urine smell in the main bathroom with a leaning toilet and the ac vent didnt work in one of the bedrooms. My mom was told by maintenance that you can't get sick from mold and the stain was no big deal because the roof had been fixed. After it rained the crack got bigger and the ceiling was wet. When the owner came out he acted like it was no big deal & they put something on the stain on the ceiling but was still a huge crack. They should not be renting this unit until it is repaired for the safety of their guests. They did not let us know it was like that before we rented it and there were no other units available to move to.

My 8 year old daughter and I are in one of the studios right off the lake! Our room is awesome! The view is amazing! If the indoor and outdoor pools were insect free I would give them 5 stars.

Second year staying here. Had a fantastic time! Lots of amenities, clean cabins, nice staff!
Keep in mind this isn’t a new luxury resort. It’s my understanding it has been family run for generations and they have kept it a great place to stay.
We had no problems at all!

The location is off the beaten path which is nice, but means most things are a decent drive away. Our room was the Loft and it was right above the office. Our balcony was right next to the lake which made for a excellent view throughout the long weekend. The on-site pools and hot tub were very nice. We used them everyday we were there. The staff was very helpful. Checkin and checkout were incredibly quick. Looking forward to going back in the future.

Really enjoying our stay so far. There were a few critter guests when we arrived but nothing we couldn't handle. We hit the lake the first day and had a blast. Looking forward to enjoying the pool on site tomorrow and then back on the lake. They have fishing, indoor/outdoor pools and an arcade. The only place to avoid is bikini pier boating rentals. The owner is rude and is likely to drive away business in the future. If you decide to go there heed the warnings from other reviews as well as this one. Overall a great choice for stay at Lakeview Resort!

Great resort on the lake! Cabins are furnished and nice, with decent beds. Boat slips available, boat ramp, boats and seadoos to rent. Great amenities, indoor and outdoor pools, basketball, tennis, playgrounds for kids! Really couldn't ask for more, even the owners are really nice people!

Stayed in Sparrow, studio, and cabin over last 5 years. Excellent place! Nice pool and friendly staff! We’ve done small couple weekend and family reunion, both great! Excellent location with great amenities!

Great place, was better than we expected. We stayed for a week in a 2 bedroom condo overlooking the lake that had been very recently remodeled. This place is very family friendly, great fishing and really good swimming (clean and deep) off the swim dock. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. We'll be back next year!

Family came into town for reunion week. Reserved 3 cabins for over 20 people and a birthday celebration! Was able to bring up our boat to their gas dock and load & unload are family. Access to the lake for older family members was great. Indoor pool, tennis courts, play ground, laundry and gazebo was definitely BIG perks to our family gathering here and again in the near future! Customer service was awesome! We will definitely be back!

The room is very very dirty and out dated. Honestly isn’t worth $275 a night, there were at least 100+ bugs that we killed in the room staff was very rude, and they have the weirdest rules in the world. You have to clean the floor after yourself, they only give you a maximum of 6 towels and you have to return them before they can give you anymore.

We stayed in cabin A little outdated and needed to replace somethings but Loved being able to fish right off our deck. Would have been nice if the deck was A little wider. Over all a Great time.

Accommodations were ok. Plenty of bedding and pillows, that was nice. We had a kitchen that was fully stocked but one of the burners for the stove didn't work. The lighting was not so great in kitchen and dining room had 3 lights out in the light. While we were told there were no towels that still stunk having to bring your own. There were no rugs in front of the showers/tubs either, so you had to use your own towel, that could have been mentioned. Furniture in sitting root while nice looking, is definitely old and you sink in the couches when sitting. Wi-Fi signal was horrible. Had a nice out door and indoor pool with jacoozi that was nice, and sauna. Laundromat was available, I never used.

This Resort is awesome, perfectly near to the lake. The rooms just makes you feel like home, staff in the office is very friendly.

We had a great time! There are many accommodation options to choose from. They range from cozy and comfortable to spacious and glamorous. They're all nicely furnished and taken care of. Most of the units offer an amazing lake front view. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My wife and I look forward to staying here again and again and again! We'll definitely be back!

We have stayed here several times and enjoyed ourselves each time we stayed. Fantastic view of the sunrise. They have an indoor and outdoor pool and a hot tub. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a weight room, pool table, ping pong table, and video arcade games. They also have a small play room for toddlers. Plus many more things to do.

Comfortable and roomy. Close to the water. Staff is super nice and very helpful.

Lakeview is great for families. It has all the basics and everything is pretty close together. If you want more, there is a lot of touristy stuff within half an hour.

My husband's family took a 4 night, 5 day stay here at the end of September. We have been here many times at your resort. Because of Lakeview and such great experiences we will continue to try to make it atleast once a year for the years to come! Every place I have stayed in is very clean and very nice. If we had any issues (no cable) we simply called and they sent maintenance out right away! I can't express how much of a good time we have just relaxing, fishing, and swimming! Thank you guys again for such great hospitality! See you at the end of this month for my and my husband's 5 year Anniversary!

Stayed here this weekend with my In Laws and extended family who love to fish. My kids and cousins enjoyed fishing and playing at the playground and pool. I was somewhat disappointed with the cabins we stayed in. I understand we were right by the lake, but the many cobwebs and bugs appeared that our room had not been cleaned in awhile. The bedroom furniture and was outdated. We did have a flat screen TV in the living room. Our other family who stayed in a different cabin had an stainless steel refrigerator I did see on their leaflet that some other rooms were a little bit more updated, would be willing to return; however, ask for an updated room.

We are staying in one of the studio lodging since there were only the three of us since my daughter came with us. No dishwasher so have to wash dishes and there were no dish towels to dry the dishes. My daughter went to set in hot tub and there was not enough water in it to cover the jets so when she turned it on water sprayed everywhere so she tried the indoor pool and it was cold. Called the office but they told us it would take a few days to get it fixed, since they have to get a new pump for it. In the bathtub there was very little water pressure. Then when tried to drain it, had to hold it down to get it to drain. The kitchen faucet is loose like it is going to fall off when you go to turn the water on. Not nearly enough closet storage space. The view is great and the staff was very friendly.

We just left here after a 2 night stay. I realize your by the lake and bugs (mosquitos and spiders) will get in the house but there were tons of them. They should have a pesticide service come spray on a regular basis. We had to buy bug spray just so we could sit in the living room and not be attacked by mosquitos. Both bathtubs were dirty and there were cobwebs in every corner. Not only that but I had rotten wood on the floor by the second bathroom which felt very unsafe. Very poor housekeeping. There is no way that these cabins are cleaned on a regular basis considering they are fresh out of peak season. We used the spider infested grill, they could clean those also before guests come since it's an amenity they list.
The one good thing is that it was very quiet. Just wasn't impressed and won't stay here again.

Spent 2 nights there this weekend in a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. First time I had stayed here. Had a good view of the lake, it was quiet, and check in and out was easy. That's all the good things. Our house looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile cobwebs and spiders in the corners. Cobwebs on the tv. It's the lake so I expect a few bugs to get in the house but the mosquito' s were horrible and were all over the house. Not sure how they were getting in. We were forced to buy bug spray just so we could sit in the living room with the lights off. They need to think about hiring a pesticide company to spray in the house to keep the bugs out for the comfort of their customers. The hall bathroom didn't have a shower head, just a pipe sticking out of the wall. The bathtubs were dirty also. The grill they state as an amenity was spider infested so we had to get rid of them the best we could so we could grill. It just wasn't a pleasant stay for me and I doubt I'll stay here again.

Two years ago we needed a new place to go and my best friend found this place… it is so unique in the way that all the rentals are different styles it's located right on the main Channel at the Lake of the Ozarks it even has a taxi water shuttle boat rentals plenty of slips plenty of Waterfront the service is second to none I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Lots to do. Friendly staff. Loved the indoor and outdoor pool, as well as the swimming docks to the lake. Nice cabin, though it was a little "worn". Everything within walking distance even from the furthest cabin like we were in. (map is not to scale). Over all great resort!

Had a great time, room was right on the lake with a great view, went down for the 4th and got to see the firework displays right from my patio, only complaint I have is I didn't get to stay long enough, will definitely be going back…

GREAT FAMILY VACATION SPOT! Spent 5 amazing days on the water staying in a beautiful condo. Friendly staff and so clean! We would definitely go back!

We have had a fantastic time at Lakeview. We came for our family vacation over the summer. There is plenty to do here on the resort, with Tennis, Volleyball, Shuffleboard, indoor and outdoor pools, and several other things. There are also several playgrounds for the younger kids. The only trouble is that the internet isn't consistent enough in the rooms for me to work on my college classes, so I have to go to their computer room to work. They are very kind and understanding about the whole deal, however.

It's was a great experience nice cabin feel… Just awesome I will go back and take the family my lake view was amazing! ' I didn't want to leave…

The unit we stayed in had a lot of problems, the AC filter closet was filthy, the outside deck lights didn't work, the shower only dribbled, the kitchen sink sprayed water, and the tub plug didn't stay down for bathing. They advertise an indoor hot tub, but no water was in it. Overall it was just really outdated and not well maintained. The people were rude at the office and at the rentals.

Very casual, which was just what we were looking for. Friendly and responsive staff. Would recommend to others.

This was the worst experience ever. They falsy advertise on their website. We are from Indiana and we traveled for 9 hours only to find out that their "cabins" are actually mobile homes which still wasnt that bad but then the whole resort looks like a very ghetto trailer park. We had no hot water while staying there. Their free Wi-Fi didnt work. They advertise that theres a pebble beach and there isnt. Our deck outside was completely covered in bushes and tree debris and we couldnt sit outside because of all the red ants everywhere. We literally only stayed one night even though we paid for 3 and went back home. I would not recommend this resort to ANYONE.

Beds seemed to have been downgraded from previous stays. Could focus more on keeping property well maintained and up to date.

Rooms were outdated. They don't even provide towels. Low water pressure. It's a shame, with a little upkeep, this place could be really nice.

It's fun and there are a lot of things to do.

Stayed in a 5 bedroom suite. Dishes were provided and very helpful. Nice staff. A little older, but worth it.

Great location and fun place for halloween. The bed in the room I stayed in was not comfortable. Luckily we rented a larger cabin than we needed and there was an extra room with a better bed.

It's amazing allot of fun things to do!

Stayed here with my family with a week and we played a lot of games they had there as well as activities like roasting smores by a fire and a bbq. Rooms are very clean and the free Wi-Fi was a really nice touch, definitely looking forward to going again.

From the time we got there no parking. Got to the room was not clean and to top it off the place looked like a dump dead trees 1/2 done projects everywhere. Kids next to where we stayed partyed all night long drugs and beer my kids asked what the smell was (marijuana) real nice lake view! next day same thing but people on other side of us. Told a guy that worked there and he just looked at us and went on his way we paid our bill and will never be back. So sad it used to be nice place now just ran down and it shows Stayed June 2015

This place was great. They offer lots of amenities and activities. Indoor pool was great, outdoor was as well. Our cabin was right on the water which was great, we could fish off the deck. The cabin was a bit small and alittle outdated but we weren't thee to hang out inside. It was clean and comfortable. The location is close to so much (by car or boat). The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We experienced a wonderful, relaxing weekend at Lakeview Resort. We stayed in one of the condos with a lakefront view. The staff was friendly and accommodating upon check-in. The condo itself was very clean and well furnished with everything we needed. The lighted color-changing pool was awesome and crystal clear. It was quiet, peaceful, and private. Overall we had a great weekend, and we will definitely be going back. We would highly recommend this resort for your next vacation at the Lake.

Lakeview is a great place for a family vacation. Much to do, from swimming in the pools, to fishing, or just sitting on the patio relaxing. This is our 5th visit to Lake of the Ozarks and we have definitely found our new vacation destination at the lake. We like the fact that it is family owned and operated. Thanks to the staff for making us feel so welcome. We'll be back and will recommend.

Loved this place. Cottages right on the waters edge. Our accommodations were clean and neat. Full kitchen, well equipped with all the basic necessities. Two pools, one indoor and one outdoor and many amenities to enjoy and pass the time. Fishing was awesome. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a lake resort. We will add to our favorites.

Nice place for a weekend getaway. Rooms were clean and rentals were nearby. Staff was nice and the pool is wonderful. Did find an issue with questionable bedding.

When I stayed I found 3 spiders in the bathtub, a moth and a cockroach in my room. If any food was left out there would be ants. Found a dead fish in the docks by our boat. The kitchen draw with silverware almost falls out when it's opened, one of the stoves burners tipped the pot/pan to one side a lot causing the boiling water to almost spill all over. One of the mattresses had no lining and a big yellow stain on it! generally speaking really bad stay. Research before you book because for this price there are many other much nicer places to stay where you wont have to worry about such disgusting things.

We came to stay at Lakeview for one day and ended up staying for 4 days. The staff is very nice everybody's very laid back and we don't want to go home. We fed the squirrels and birds and ducks and they all seem very friendly as well. We will definitely be coming back here again in the future.
