Great place love it. Company retreat.

My wife and I loved the pool area with the swim up bar. The rooms were great, and we were greeted multiple times by the staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Though we went at off season it was still enjoyable. Had a good place to eat attached. We were in a spacious suite.

It was the first weekend of the off season, but it was perfect. Loved the hot tub by the waterfall and our room was very spacious with a view of the lake. We also enjoyed the food and wait staff at H. Toads. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a security guard walk into my room uninvited where There were females changing. They were upset that I had a friend smoking medical marijuana outside where there’s an ashtray (reason for entering the room). They charged me a $250 cleaning fee, and made my friends feel so uncomfortable after the citation that we had to stay somewhere else. Take your money elsewhere, this place is absolutely horrible.

The room and view are beautiful. So nice and relaxing here. Staff are friendly too.

Very nice hotel friendly staff and all the staff will bend over backwards to put u in a room that u r happy with even if it takes them 5 times they were not once rude to us even tho we r not the easiest ppl to please but they pleased and continues to please our every visit this is the only hotel we book when we visit lake of the ozarks.

Our spacious suite was clean and kitchenette was well stocked with accessories. Not a very quiet room as we could hear kids/family next to us easily. Hotel itself and most regular staff was nice but management customer service is lacking. We had an issue with our patio door and it was never fixed and resolved as a front desk manager said it would be and he had a very “oh well” attitude about the issue. Housekeeping has better customer service ethic than the front desk.

Stayed in a king suite with jetted tub. Everything was nice and clean and the room was spacious. Front desk was helpful and nice. Love that you could walk to the restaurant. We stayed in March so it was fairly quiet.

Beautiful close view of the lake. The rooms are large and comfortable. It has a nice atmosphere.

Large rooms with Lakeview. Everything you need at 1 resort. No need to leave the property unless you are going to see a show Across The Cove like we were. Toads is a great restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Large pool with 2 great hot tubs. Plenty of outside seating around the pool. Tons of room for your own personal space… good fun relaxing atmosphere with music but not overly loud or to the point to it makes you feel like it's a party! fast service from check in, at the swim up bar to ur room service. Spa is excellent! Can't wait to go again. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing resort, perfect location, friendly staff.

Beautiful resort and very clean. Not kid friendly! not quiet at all! it is currently 626 Am On my second night here and I haven't fallen asleep once. I wish they would've warned us that there was a live band playing outside our room til 2 am, or I wouldn't have booked here. We had 3 kids with us. Fire alarms were pulled twice by some drunks. My poor sister has a 6 hour drive back home today. Fireworks were lit off, people going in and out of the balcony every 5 minutes, yelling. Ridiculous. I realize it's not the resorts fault, just warning about the no sleep part, you might as well stay up all night like the rest of everyone staying here!

I know y'all are hurting from the COVID thing. But how do you justify wanting to charge a non-profit who has a high risk membership almost $15k to cancel? They have used you before and had plans to use you next year. Nothing like them trying to do it for no reason, worldwide pandemic, no big deal, right? By the way, I'm the scheduled speaker for the conference and am also high risk, NOT A HAPPY CAMPER! I will be spreading the word to the national circuit folks I teach with all over the country. There are other resorts on the same lake.

It was the greatest family experience ever they were very polite and they cared about the food they were serving. The manager of the Horny Toad bar and grill was super nice she even show my son how to fold the napkins like they do and most important thing was the waitress and bartender both was very knowledgeable we will definitely be making another trip to this bar and grill.

New ownership/management appears to not appreciate long-standing repeat customers. The past 2 years they have completely disrespected the business the company I work for has given this resort for many years. The prior management was very accommodating and respectful of our needs. Wish I could say the same for the new management. I feel it important to note that the staff was great. They are clearly handcuffed from providing the level of service used to. When our post conference survey comes out, I will be strongly recommend we find a new resort for our conference.

The facility is clean and beautiful, our room is fantastic. The staff is courteous and helpful. Scenery is great.
Downside, there is a live band that performs outside until 1 AM. They are so loud that even though we were on the 6th floor on the opposite side of the building we could hear them. Kept my wife awake all night.
If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is not the place.

We enjoyed our weekend at Camden on the Lake, the best resort to relax and enjoy a few days off at the Lake of the Ozarks! We loved our recently remodeled room with a nice kitchenette and living room, large bathroom, comfortable bedroom and cozy balcony. We appreciated the "charging hub" to charge all of our devices in one place. The combo washer/dryer came in handy, as well. H. Toads Restaurant offered delicious dining choices and a lovely view of the sunset. The service was excellent and we especially enjoyed our servers Fareesh and Brody, who made recommendations, refilled drinks and instinctively knew what we might need before we even realized it. We enjoyed browsing through the lovely boutiques that offered upscale brands like Yeti, Spartina, Scout, Simply Southern… just to name a few. We returned home ready to jump back into work and we definitely look forward to returning SOON!

They Changed our room on the day of arrival. Offered no reasonable explanation. Manager was defensive and unhelpful. Housekeeping failed in several areas. Maintenance staff was helpful with a TV issue. Not happy with the way the manager on duty treated us. We did not get the type of room we reserved. We will not return at this point.

Nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Loved the suite! Great view overlooking the lake.

I would highly recommend Camden On The Lake Resort as I stayed there recently during the Folds of Honor event. Fabulous accommodations with a huge room and one of a kind view of the lake. I enjoyed the new menu at H. Toad's, loved the shrimp dish and the smoked loin. The service was great! They were very attentive and knowledgeable and the entertainment was over the top!

It's a beautiful hotel. I absolutely love my room. The Grand Suite has everything you could possibly need and is well worth the extra money. I'm already planning my stay for next summer!

We had a fantastic time! The facilities are top notch, staff is helpful, professional and goes above and beyond. Staff member Suzanne was incredible, she was friendly, knowledgeable, energetic and was always available when we needed anything! I recommend this resort to anyone looking to have fun and relax!

The lake views here are amazing. The suite was relaxing Pool was clean Food was good I really enjoyed the trip. Unfortunately I did not get to relax as much as I would have liked. was on a business trip so, lots of learning n drinking after classes. not far from the outlet shops.

The suites are wonderful! Bed is comfortable. The views of the lake from the suites is beautiful. There is always music and the swim up bar is the best! There is a woman at the front desk in the evening that is a ray of sunshine, she is so friendly and helpful. This is the best place on the Lake.

My bachelorette party couldn’t have taken place in a better resort. The large suite was perfect for the 10 of us with a beautiful view. We had an absolute blast and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and inviting. Great location, too! Would definitely go back.

Our suite was spacious and clean with everything we could possibly need. The staff was friendly and helpful and it was easy to see that all the guests were having a good time and the resort has a great location on the lake. This might not seem important but attached on the night table was a circular hub with electric and USB ports. Great for a guy like me that travels with all kinds of electronics.

Let me just start off by saying I chose Camden on the Lake over others specifically because I was looking forward to the pool party Sat afternoon and I saw the positive reviews about H. Toads. Those things made it worth the $100+/night difference from other hotels to me. I got there Saturday and the resort was very nice including staff. Went to H. Toads and the food was good but the service was very slow. Ate and went to the pool party. The DJ was not playing! The DJ admitted that his laptop broke and he didn't have time to download the software so all he could do was talk in the mic. Went to the bar for my first drink, waited in line for approx 10-15 mins. Matter of fact, the lady in front of me told Tyler, bartender, she wanted to buy my friend and I's drink since we waited so long. I told Tyler what we wanted plus 2 shots. He returned with 1 wrong drink and only 1 shot. I explained that I'd take the drink just add cranberry juice to it. He replied, "Just drink it! " When I asked about the 2nd shot he replied, "I need to get to other people. " I apologized to him for being an inconvenience and he said, "It's okay. " I could not believe that interaction! Left a nasty taste in my mouth. Sunday we had the brunch buffet at H. Toads and service was again slow! Also 3 of the buffet trays were empty leaving a few food options. The manager was very nice and trying to keep things afloat in the restaurant! What a flop of a weekend. Maybe I just came on the wrong weekend?

Came for a seminar. The staff were great. The room was clean and well taken care of. Beautiful view of the lake! Will return.

We ate and drank and enjoyed Dr. Zhivegas tonight at the Horny Toad entertainment complex, and one of the things that really made our night was our server, Olivia (or Liv, as she says everyone called her)! She was wonderful with keeping our drinks filled, getting our food right out to us… She even helped us secure a table as soon as one became available, and it was busy and full! She kept smiling throughout the night and made our night that much more enjoyable. One of the best servers we have had at any establishment on the Lake.

Thank you to the staff of Camden on the Lake for hosting us & our guests this past weekend to celebrate our wedding. Everything was wonderful, from Jackie & the servers in the restaurant to Clint who helped book all the rooms & of course Anthony who was kind enough to make sure we got our flowers 10 mins before the wedding! The hotel was perfect and beautiful and all of our guests were so happy with the accommodations. We will certainly be back for many more celebrations! Cheers Mr & Mrs Mike Watkins :)

Best hotel on the lake! Beautiful resort style pool with a swim up bar. Rooms are huge with a kitchen and balcony. Excellent location connected to the Horny Toad and Shady Gators. I would highly recommend this very classy hotel.

It was beautiful! Very well maintained, and the staff was great. The room was very clean and it's a wonderful place to go.

Updated review: Apparently it was liquor on the wall… house keeping said they didn’t see anything… trying to make me look stupid… so I showed them the pictures and we went up there. It’s liquor… but still… now I’m questioning if the sheets I slept in were clean…

Great place great view but a little pricey.

My organization held a conference at Camden that I facilitated. From beginning to end, the experience was top notch! The staff go above, beyond, and back again for you. I was so very impressed with every single staff person I interacted with and had a wonderful time working with them through our event. Bonnie & Clint are so very nice, patient, and accommodating. Ted in banquet set up was amazing and so much fun! John our banquet manager was wonderful and helped at every turn! Monica and Melissa were so very efficient. Our hotel rooms were top notch — beautiful, comfortable, and extraordinary! Our banquet food (we had breakfast, lunch and a large banquet dinner) was all exceptional! Coming from being in restaurants / catering since before I could walk — I've eaten a fair share of hotel food. Every single thing we had from catering was delicious, high quality, and they were wonderful at working with our non-profit organization. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed working with these folks and staying at this beautiful facility! Thank you all!

I've never encountered a more captivating place. The staff was extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable with each and every request or question we had. The resort itself is 5 star in my opinion. They really put effort into the experience that you have while you are there.

I definitely enjoyed my stay at Camden at the Lake! Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was okay. Not too many vegetarian options so if you have particular meal restrictions, probably not the best place. I loved my room and the theatre room. I was there for a conference but will return on my own for personal and pleasure.

So many fun and exciting changes have occurred here. From the boutique shops, cute little niche eats and full service restaurants, you'll have a fabulous time. Don't forget their concert venue too, always a blast.

Friendly staff, luxury amenities, awesome nightly rates and superb facilities (clean and we'll managed). Definitely will be returning to this resort.

Anyone saying less than 5*s, are nit picking this resort. It is a must stay in the suits if you are in the area. We stayed at room 525, it was amazing! Had a great view over looking the water, and the bathroom was spectacular (dual, high pressure, shower heads! ) The blinds to the private patio, were automatic (8 Has all the amenities of a top line air b&b and the feel of a fancy Manhattan condo, but comes with an awesome staff! Joe at the front desk works late shifts and Suzanne is the beverage manager in the horny toad, Its the attached bar! They both went above and beyond for anything we asked for. Keep up the good work guys! Ill have to come back for another drink of Jack! (;

Ample parking. Amazing view of the Lake of the Ozarks. Amenities including a heated pool, hot tub, full spa, great restaurant, and the rooms are incredible. Also has the ability to cater to large groups of 200 and more with their banquet department.

Incredible spaces and a large bar (s) for groups. The rooms feel like a nice getaway. If you have to stay for a longer period of time in a hotel this is the place to stay! If you like to feel like you aren't at a hotel when you are away, this will serve your needs well.

My husband and I stayed here during a business trip and had a great time. Beautiful pool and fun atmosphere. We took a boat ride from the hotel to a restaurant just across the lake. Friendly staff at the hotel and great food.

The drinks were reasonably priced. It had a good atmosphere. Definitely not a bad place to stay at the lake.

I make annual and, sometimes, semi-annual 3-day trips to Camden on the Lake through my employer. The suites are well-suited for extended stays with large bedroom, cozy and classy sitting area with electric fireplace, very nice bathrooms, and fully equipped kitchenette with granite countertops. More rooms than not have a view of the lake and docks. There are a variety of choices on location and nearby for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Late Spring and Summer are the best time periods for activity. The rest of the year is quiet and cozy.

The rooms and service were amazing. They catered our dinner which was creole, but turned out to be somewhat bland. Over all though everything was clean, beautiful and the bartenders were knowledgeable, kind, and did an amazing job!

Great location for a conference. The only suggestion is that there needs to be a second lock. Kids can get out of the room.

This is the most expensive place you can go to at the Lake food is expensive drinks are expensive and this place thinks that customers don't matter. The GM Anthony is a total schmuck and doesn't care about what customers think… Save your money and go some where that will appreciate your business will be appreciated!

Really great band played all weekend, but us older folks wanted to go to bed sooner. The loud music kept me awake until show ended every night after 1am. And hotel staff said it would do no good to change rooms. Otherwise, very comfortable and nice rooms.

There were good things and bad things about this resort. The view was beautiful and the room was spacious. It did seem a little outdated and run down. When I went to put laundry in, there were dirty men's shorts sitting in there and the washer was broken. Additionally, don't stay on the lake side if you want to sleep. Shady Gators across the bay plays loud music into the night. Staff members were very helpful and kind!

Very Nice rooms, I was on the back side of the hotel which still has some view of the lake, but is much quieter then the 'front' which has all of the noise of the cove and bar across. Rooms have a very nice kitchen area with electric stove element, small dishwasher and fridge, full size microwave. Comfortable bedding and beautiful bathrooms, was there for a conference but they have what looked like a nice pool area as well as spa and other amenities. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, was pricey but was good food. No lake fish though only ocean fish.

I visited this location on June 17th. The hotel rooms were fantastic! The beds were comfortable, and we loved the view. The food at the bar/restaurant was delicious (I would definitely recommend the Bourbon Chicken Sandwich). The band they had playing on their outdoor stage was very entertaining, and was well worth the watch. I would definitely recommend this location.

I was at Camden for a work convention. The meeting rooms and hotel was easily accessible and clean. Next time I am in the area I will be staying overnight and Camden.

My wife and I have stayed here many times and totally love it. We don't normally stay unless they run a sweet deal because of the normal price they charge per night. I'm not saying it's not worth the normal price as that is up to each individual. We absolutely love everytime we can stay there though!

I was totally shocked. This place is a hidden jewel. We had a condominium room. It was spectacular. You could by groceries and cook or go to the resturant connected. The room was super large with private seating area. Had lake view.

Wonderful and clean room. Had a kitchenette, large shower, and comfy king bed.

Had a great stay, started with the check in, and continued for the entire stay. Rooms are spacious and luxurious. Dinner was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

I received a gift certificate from the hotel through a chamber event. The gift was for a one night stay and a $50 gift card to use at H. Toad. I called a week in advance to make the reservation not in peak season (late October) to use the gift for our anniversary. The person on the phone was not very pleasant. Demanded two night minium and said they wouldn't take my gift certificate for this weekend because they only had 10% occupancy remaining available. I said, "well this isn't a very good first impression" and she said, "well I'm sorry". So no room for our anniversary and I very seriously doubt I'll ever stay with them — will sell gift card on craigs list.

The resort is nice, but the GM there is horrible to deal with. We called the restaurant several times to verify our reservation. There are a lot of options for groups at the lake and we ended up picking there so they could accommodate our group. When we got there they said they couldn't do what the reservation said, but they would give us a lakeview. They sat us down in a room where you couldn't see the lake and it wasn't great seating. When we told the GM he did not care at all. He just said the policy was they don't take reservation which was completely against what we were told over the phone. I mentioned that I would be sharing these facts in the review and he said he didn't care and that he didn't take well to threats. Pretty ridiculous that nothing was done at all to fix the mistake they made. The GM was probably the worst customer service rep I've ever seen. I can't ever go back to this place due to the disappointing experience with this person. I tried emailing him afterwards and he didn't respond to anything.

This resort is well appointed however lack of property upkeep is an issue. Upon check in. Pizza sauce on the nightstand. Kitchen did not have forks, dishwasher falling out of the cabinet. Overall lack of house keeping on a daily basis. The front desk staff is a total nightmare. Be very careful if you book online thru the Camden website because apparently they do not reserve lake views when asked and they treat you like idiots if you inquire. Specifically Carolyn. The worst customer service representative I have ever encountered in all my resort travels! She actually moved us from our reserved room to a better room that was actually her way of punishing us for inquiring about why our room reservation was incorrect. She mentioned a half dozen times that we booked online. I asked her why that was a problem when it was their email to me asking me to rebook my vacation. She would not answer. No manager on site. Carolyn moved us from room 615 to room 626 which was next to the ice closet and elevator. Security allows people to party in the hallways until well past 3am. If you are under age drinking and inconsiderate. This is the resort for you.

Nothing spells romance more than spending about $250 (tax included) on a luxurious room overlooking the lake for a night. The romance greatly increases once you notice the semen stains on the little red pillows you were about to throw your lover on. Nothing says "this bed is for love making" than the lingering aroma combined with the likes of another mans seed carelessly dribbled — as if a snail crawled lazily over the pillow. This hotel does an excellent job in bringing in the expectations that one would encounter in a motel with hourly rates. If that isn't enough to get the fires of romance burning in your loins, try the elegant room service. Close your eyes and imagine a fine cuisine carted up to your room on top of some fine, perhaps silver serving platters. Now open your eyes and answer the door. Your expectations will be greatly overcame by the presence of a woman wearing a greasy polo shirt wielding your dinner inside of shanty to-go boxes. The presence of a fist full of ketchup packets and plastic silverware is sure to get your sweetheart in the mood! Why spend $30 on a low rate motel and order a pizza when you can get the same quality for hundreds more.

We enjoyed our stay at Camden on the Lake Resort. Our suite was super nice and included a kitchenette and living room. The live music Fri. And Sat. Evenings was good, and the ice bar that the artist sculpted with a chain saw was amazing. We're middle-aged and not big time "party people, " so the atmosphere was not exactly our cup of tea, and loud music until after 1 a. M. Made it difficult to sleep. We liked the place for a weekend getaway but don't recommend it for families with children or anyone wanting to relax/rest. We tried the buffet breakfast at H. Toad's and thought it was average, at best, and pricey. Food was just from a package and warmed up. : o (.

Be prepared to pay extra for everything. The espresso bar was disappointing. The tons are nice enough but there is no where to swim in the lake; boat docks everywhere.

My wife and I have stayed here two years in a row for a board meeting and it is a wonderful location. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very helpful. The restaurant and bar are good establishments. Last year we were here on the Friday the Cardinals won the world series and last night they won the nlds. The bar went crazy. Guess we have to schedule next year during the playoffs. We will be back.

My husband and I booked a King Studio here Aug 9th — 12th to get away for our babymoon. This is a very nice place with nice rooms, mini kitchenettes and comfy beds but we literally felt like we were in a college dorm our entire stay. Please make sure you know that this hotel sits in what is known the be the Lake's biggest party area with the bars that connect. The first night the fire alarms went off around 11:30pm so we had to evacuate. After we evacuated down to the main entrance we were told a steam pipe had burst which caused the alarms to go off. Once we returned to our rooms and got settled back into bed the alarms went off again and then a 3rd time before finally they got them under control. After that we had to listen to carpet cleaners until 2am as they were cleaning up the water from the pipe. 2nd and 3rd nights were unbelievably loud with drunk college kids coming back from partying, playing music in the hallway, doors slamming and yelling. We had to call security both nights. I would not recommend this place for couples or family. The pool is very small and is a party pool. I would not bring my children here. When we checked out we told them how unhappy we were with our stay and that we would not be back and they did knock half of our bill down. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to party.
