Bed bugs…. UGH! Front desk was nice and moved me to new room that thankfully is okay but this is NOT the experience I wanted. I am to exhausted to pack up and find another hotel that allows pets. Very disappointing…. I will be asking for some
Money off my bill for sure!

Family stayed here out of need, due to basement flooding at the local home. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room. Nice breakfast. Pool was out of service, but maybe it won’t be next time! Would recommend this place. Thank you.

We had a couple hiccups, but the front desk couldn’t be more accommodating. It’s not the Ritz Carlton, and you get what you pay for — but the rooms were clean enough, the sheets are fresh and the beds are comfy. There isn’t a pool right now because of Covid, but we just needed a place to sleep after a place down the road screwed our reservations. Thanks young lady at the front desk for being so awesome. :)

By far the quitest place ive ever stayed. The staff is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond.

They treat me like family. Very clean, just all around awesome.

First room they gave us was disgusting, to say the least. Blood on the footstool and on the floor. Spider where wall & ceiling meets. Whirlpool tub jets have never been cleaned, from the looks of it. Towels not clean in the new room they put us in.

Small bed even though it was supposed to be deluxe room, small pillows. Noisy air con.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is at least I didn't get bed bugs. I stayed here from 8/4 to 8/6, and the only staff member I ever observed wearing a mask was the housekeeper (thank God for that), but no other staff ever wore one, and only 3 other guests, besides myself, wore one (they are mandated in St. Louis County and St. Louis City). My room had A LOT of trivial aesthetic flaws, for the price point of their rooms, but by far, the most disturbing of all, was the mold growing in my AC unit. When I informed the front desk manager that they should CHECK and CLEAN their AC units because there's MOLD in them, she simply said, "Okay". No apology. No concern. Just "okay". I also asked if they were aware that wearing a mask is madated by both city and county, and she didn't even acknowledge that I had spoken. I reported them to St. Louis County for mask violations, and filed a formal complaint with their corporate office for the mold, no masks, and poor customer service. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Bed bugs! I was here for a business trip and had to go to another hotel. The best part about this hotel is that Cracker Barrel is right next door!

All was well except for Sunday morning. One person to do the front desk and the breakfast room is ridiculous. Lack of food being refilled and impatient people waiting at the front desk.

They made my daughters Birthday amazing! So friendly and helpful! The whole staff! everyone I spoke to was friendly and hospitable! We officially have a new favorite hotel! Thank you all so much! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

The room was dirty. 1st floor was allotted to people with pets. All amenities on the 2nd floor. Other negatives. Burr when we let them know they refunded the pet rate.

Really nice hotel. Spacious rooms and well equipped. Clean and tidy. Staff helpful and friendly. Eating is also close by.

When we first got here they didn’t have the reservation under the right name. They also said that our room would have two king beds in it and it has one king with a couch that doesn’t have a bed in it. The dresser handle fell off, the part of the desk that rolls out is broken, the coffee table glass top almost slid off and the legs were broken, the cold handle on the sink faucet is broken, there’s a bandaid over the peep hole, the bathroom has a piece of plastic tied around the knob you push or pull to make it go from a bath to shower, and the elevators are broken. However, breakfast was good and the staff have been nice. If you’re not going to be in the room very much most of that isn’t a big deal though.

For the most Part nice, but time to do some updating.

The FINAL room was clean and fairly comfortabel, however there were 2 tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner for a two person room — less than satisfied. The service was less than par as we were led to a dirty room, then waited in a hot hotel hallway for 20 minutes dripping sweat. The breakfast itself was great however the attendant was asking us to move and asking us to look in containers and tell us if she needed more food. If your looking to be treated like you are at home with your teenagers, this is the place to be, however, I like being treated like I matter.

They were so nice and helpful. I felt so welcomed. I'm from Chicago and they say people down south are very welcoming they definitely showed us southern hospitality. I definitely will continue to stay here whenever I'm in town. Great staff and good service! See you soon best western.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. We got in at 10pm and were in bed quickly after. It wasn't until the morning we discovered dirty wash cloths hanging from the in shower rod and a dirty comforter on our bed. The strains were in the under side of the comforter near the top. Looked like possibly BBQ sauce. A little afraid the room was not changed. Meaning same sheet for my family from a previous stay… GROSS! Breakfast was good, lots of options. But staff blamed the house keeping when we told them what happened and said management would call us in the afternoon after they came in but we never heard from anyone. Very poor customer service. There are other Best Westerns in St. Louis, I would try somewhere else pour another chain before booking this place. On our way home from vacation a week later we came back through St. Louis and decided to stay at a very nice Comfort Inn instead of Best Western…

The hotel was great for the value. Breakfast was what you expect for a free hot breakfast; good assortment of hot foods, cold cereal, and drinks plus a nice selection of pastries. The pancake machine and yogurt machine were both down the morning my family stayed but everything else, including the waffle maker was good. The woman working in the breakfast area was kind and attentive. Check in and check out was pleasant. The staff all seemed interested in helping with anything we needed. The receptionist even opened the pool earlier than the posted time of 9am so my sons could swim before we checked out for the day. The room was clean and well designed. Air conditioing worked well and there is a large selection of television channels. Shower pressure is strong and the beds were surprisingly comfy. All around it was a great stay for the value.

Enjoyable enough stay. Great value with decent breakfast each morning. A few of the staff members weren’t the best the best but most of them were friendly and helpful. Pool fine. Close to downtown St. Louis (15 mins) and this hotel is right off the interstate so convenient without the $250 a night hotels downtown. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when in the area.

"Heimos Industrial Park Dr. " sounds like real industry at first. But it's completely harmless. The hotel is very quiet and you don't get anything from the "industry" around it.
Rooms are large and make a new impression and are very clean. I got to know the staff as very friendly. It's just a snapshot since I was there only one night on May 24, but at that point it was!

The staff is friendly, professional and eager to please. They go out of their way to help guests and each other. It was clear they were a team and out to serve their guests. And that’s what I felt like — a guest, not a customer. The front desk staff were on top of things even when they were completely booked, busy and short handed. The housekeeping staff made sure we had what we needed at all times and even worked around us. And the food staff kept the complimentary breakfast filled, fresh and the area clean — no small feat at peak times — while still being friendly and welcoming. This team represents Best Western very well!

Excellent service. Car parking is very good. A good night's sleep in a king size bed. Place is clean and they have have a swimming pool which you can use. Made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was good if you wanted an evening meal then Cracker Barrel restaurant is just a few minutes walk from the main entrant. St Louis is only 40 minutes away down the interstate 55.

Well I wasn’t impressed with the hotel. For starters the phone in the room didn’t work, side door card reader wouldn’t work so got locked cord out and I was on the 1st floor which requires an elevator, breakfast items weren’t kept up with so wasn’t a lot to choose from at 0830 and at 0745 house keeping decided to knock on my door to see if I was still in the room and it’s a Saturday morning. Will think twice wether I stay here again or not just wasn’t impressed. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Where to begin… our room door was open when we checked in. The TV controller didn’t work. The inside curtain was broken off its track. The outside doors on the back side were broken on the handles. There was an exit sign dangling from the ceiling on the 3rd floor. There were only 3 pillows and they were NOT comfortable at all. The beds were hard as a rock. Trash was overflowing outside the building. Went to ballgame and returned to realize our door key didn’t work, so we wer…e locked out. The key worked when we left… the phone constantly rang at 6:30AM and the front desk had no clue why it would do that, and their answer was just unplug it from the wall. Also for all those Missouri Fire Marshals, there was not an adequate supply of water to the premises via hydrants due to a broken hydrant on the front lot, which appears to be in full service instead of clearly marking it Out of Service… false sense of security.

Clean, friendly, cheap, good quality hotel. I'd give it a 10/10 if I could! Were definitely coming back! Its kid friendly and pet friendly too! They have everything. The suits are cheap even! Not to mention extremely comfortable beds with soft pillows and blankets. Highly recommend!

Staff was friendly and very helpful. The pet rooms are super clean! I've had such a problem with other hotels that have filthy pet rooms. Not this one. No bad odours, perfectly clean and as fresh as a hotel room can smell. This location is not as easy to find as some, but parking is better than most. Overall I feel it is well worth 5 stars. We will definitely stay here again when we come back through!

This is a great hotel. The only issue we had was at check in. We made sure to check during check out to make sure that our bill was correct and that we got the points that we deserved. The young lady that checked us out did a great job of handling this. We would definitely stay here again.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had! For starters, cleanliness. The bath tub still had the previous persons hair all in it, if it was cleaned properly then I still wouldn’t have seen the dirt and hair in the tub. I was on the lower level, level 1. The entire floor smelled of smoke. My son was wearing light grey socks in the room and they were absolutely filthy when I had changed him. There was a dog barking different times during the night, people slamming doors and it sounded like a vacuum cleaner was running all damn night! I have worked in the hotel business a couple of times, including a Best Western. This was terrible! When I went to go tell the front desk clerk at check out all he could say was, “I’m so sorry, maybe it was a jacuzzi tub running. ” I’m thinking to myself, who the heck is taking a jacuzzi at 2 & 3 in the morning on a Wednesday night?! Nothing was done, just a lame “I’m sorry” Best Western get it together because I will post this review on every outlet you have because it was that bad! ** UPDATE Corporate FINALLY called me back and after I had been on the phone with her for 45 mins the best she could do is reimburse me only $40. The bill was $91.91 for our stay. So not only does their Hotels suck, their Customer Service is no better!

We stayed three nights and we had a very nice experience. The room was clean, beds comfy and the staff was very helpful. The indoor pool area stayed open until 10 pm and was nice for the kids after a long day of sightseeing. Easy access to the interstate and just far enough away from the city to guarantee more reasonable rates. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

The breakfast was very good, just what I expected. There is coffee and tea 24/7 which I like. Hotel staff was very pleasant but not overly friendly. The beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious. I was alone so two queen beds are a little Overkill! Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Using Expedia to book, check in and out was painless. Friendly staff, breakfast was very good for a free breakfast. Enclosed pool, clean rooms, excellent value for the money. My only gripe was the beds were hard, and I don't sleep well on a hard mattress, but that was minor. Cracker Barrel across the street, and a gas station at the corner, quiet location (no interstate noise), good Wi-Fi, plenty of channels on the TV, all in all a very good place to stay! Recommend and will use again if I go back that way!

We had a very good experience at this hotel. First, it was easy to get in and out of from the highway. Next, breakfast was great, beds were good and we were able to get to Chili's by going through the building without going outside. There are a lot of upscale restaurants and shopping within a 10-15 minute drive. It seems to be a nice area and we will definitely be back.

Nice clean room, friendly service. The breakfast could have been a little bit better. The person taking care of the breakfast evidently had not done it before. They have an indoor pool a little heavy on the chlorine. Hard to see from the Interstate.

First of all — the bed was the MOST comfortable bed I have slept in for years — surpassing our bed at home. The rooms were nicely decorated and extremely clean. We were very pleased with our stay there.

Very loud. As soon as we checked and and went into the hallway to our we were hit with the smell of pot. We go in our room and had to listen to a dog bark for over a hour. Called the front desk was told they would talk to them. The dog didn't stop barking till midnight. Was woke up at 3 am by a group of drunk people trying to get into my room. They wouldn't go away. I had to open the door tell them they had the wrong room. Will never stay here again.

Paid $115 with tax through one of those big booking sites and we got a room closest to the front of the hall near the desk. Nice enough. We were given a handicap room. But the shower never had hot water and stayed luke warm, we didn't have a remote for the TV and they gave us a basic not-programmed remote. We had to call again to have it done correctly. The pool was fine, only more special than no pool. We politely told the front desk lady at check out about the water but it was like informing through email. No human like interaction. I don't think we expect too much when we'd be happy with even simple acknowledgement. No empathetic/inconvenient apology drags my experience down to two measly stars.

The beds were extremely comfortable. A very nice selection of food at breakfast. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We will be visiting in the St. Louis area in the near future and will definitely stay at the Best Western.

Great experience at this Best Western in St Louis. Rooms were very modern and very clean. Tv was great and had lots channels to choose from. Staff was real nice. Have to look behind the Cracker Barrell for it. We also got senior discount.

BW looked very nice. But, in the tub, there was dust on the corner sides. Also, there were not enough wash clothes? The clerks were very helpful. The food for breakfast were good.

The quality of the breakfast was one of the worst Best Western breakfasts my wife and I have experienced, and that includes about a dozen. If it wasn't for the waffles and waffle-pancakes, we would have gone to the restaurant across the road for breakfast. The taste of the eggs, hash browns, and sausage left a lot to be desired. Hot items were hot, cold items were cold. I will praise the temperature of the milk… one of the coldest Best Western milks I've had. The one girl in the mornings liked to express her life to most of the hotel guests, which wasn't very enjoyable. And the open bottle of liquor outside the 3rd floor exterior door made the hotel look iffy. But due to a non-working fridge, which hasn't been working for quite some time, we were moved to the 2nd floor, where our stay was much more enjoyable, other than the breakfast. Mostly quiet halls. Clean smelling room. And no bed bugs in either room (and yes, I check with a flash light), which is a major concern everywhere. Would I stay here again? Yes. The location was very convenient and easy to get to off I-55. And many other fast food restaurants were just a couple miles on up 55.

This is a great hotel when visiting St Louis. Very clean, great breakfast — just needs fresher pastries and bagels. Staff is all very accommodating. Nice indoor pool.

This was a great place to stay with my kids. Friendly Staff, clean room's. Fresh baked cookies from Dwayne yummmmmm. This Hotel went beyond just being a business they cared enough to make sure everything was what we expected and more.

We stay frequently when attending Cardinal games. We choose this BW because of the rates, the nearby restaurants and shopping, and the relatively close drive to the downtown area. It is an easy on/off the interstate, also. The continental breakfast is usually enjoyable, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean. Most rooms have been recently remodeled.

I would have been better off sleeping in my car. My room had a strong mildew smell. I looked in the bathroom and saw mold. The carpets looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in ages. The highway was very loud from the room and the A/C was even louder.

Jacuzzi tub in suite was awesome. Nice furnishings. The breakfast was really good. Loud guests, but that's hardly the hotels fault. Bed was super squeaky and coffee maker was broken. We would stay again.

The room appeared clean at first, but upon further inspection we noticed stains on the one of the mattresses and some of the bedding, as well as hair in the shower. Our room also was lacking a do not disturb sign and after asking multiple people at the front desk on three separate occasions we still never received one. They also promised to take us off of the list for housekeeping but didn't. Unfortunately housekeeping started cleaning rooms before 9 am and went about it pretty loudly. We didn't realize until we got there that they have pet friendly rooms, which was a negative for us because other guests did not always attend to their dogs. Early one morning there was a dog barking for almost 20 minutes straight. The hallway often smelled strongly of smoke despite the hotel supposedly being smoke free. Breakfast was fine, and they do have coffee available all day. The other bonus was the location of the hotel. Most of the attractions we went to in St. Louis were 20 minutes away at most. We also can't complain about the price, and it would have been fine for just one night, especially if you are an early riser, but it was not a good fit for us staying multiple nights in a row.

We had a floor level accessible double room. Room was nice and clean. Lamp on night stand and plug outlets did not work. Shower head looked like it had been broken but was recently replaced with a plastic handheld one that did not match the cradle fitted in the shower. You needed to hold it the whole time you showered. Breakfast was good, service was good. Unfortunately, there seemed to only be one person serving at the front desk and serving breakfast. It's probably more like a three person job. She did it all well and with a smile, but the hotel was pretty full. There should have been more staff available. Would stay here again. It has actually improved since the last time we stayed here a few years ago.

The rooms were clean and we'll equipped. They allow pets with is great. They do have an extra charge for pets. We have a well trained Chihuahua and never makes a mess but I'm sure some pets do. We don't mind the charge as we can't leave her behind. They have an excellent breakfast free of charge and the girl working it was wonder keeping it stocked and clean.

Really enjoyed my stay for a business trip. Since I had a big massive truck their parking was good since its not easy to find good parking in this part of the country for a big truck. It was near the freeway and an exit down from lots of places to eat in Arnold. The staff was nice and there were lots of breakfast options. I especially enjoyed they had hash browns for breakfast. Oh, and this combination was nice enough where instead of staying a day, I had two rooms for over a week. It was comforting to have a work trip with some stability. Thanks!

When we arrived staff said they had no king size rooms even tho we reserved one over a week ago. They finally gave us one. When we got there, door was open. Refrigerator was broken. Phone did not work. Alarm clock on floor behind night stand. Both vending machine and ice machine on our floor was broken. Staff was rude. Won't be going back.

Good place to stay friendly people. Good breakfast. Close to crackle barrel for walking place for dinner. Clean rooms nice fitness room didn't try the pool looked good.

Rooms were ok, ac unit didn't work. The breakfast was terrible, eggs runny, sausage way under cooked. The pool water wasn't clear, looked very cloudy, not maintained. Very load guest. Management did nothing about it.

Everything was ok. Remote control was missing but they replaced it. New paint smell at the time I visited. Room was a bit smelly. Staff was nice.

This is our go-to hotel when we are in Saint Louis. The first time we stayed we had our kids with us and they absolutely loved the pool. We all loved the continental breakfast and how quiet the hotel was. The staff was very nice and super helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the St. Louis area!

It was okay. They had what was needed but nothing over the top. They had decent Wi-Fi, not as fast as I'm used to but it did what was needed. Everything seemed clean even though they were in the middle of some renovations. The bathroom is my main complaint. The shower didn't drain as quickly as I would've liked and the shampoo and soap dispenser didn't work very well. They had a hair dryer which isn't standard in some cheaper hotels. TV had good channels. It was quiet. The woman at the desk was really nice.

Very clean room, friendly staff, hot breakfast included. Can't beat the price. Kids loved the indoor pool. Beds were comfy and came with plenty of pillows (often a luxury skipped at other budget hotels). It was perfect after 10 hrs on the road with 3 kids. Not all Best Westerns I've stayed have been as clean as this place was. We were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Will consider Best Western for future road trips. Thanks!

Pool was cloudy lobby was hot, hallways were very hot, bathroom had mold on ceiling. Fixtures not dusted; wall repairs not up to minimal building codes. Rough paint job in the bath. Remote needed batteries. Great air conditioner, bed comfortable but not neatly made. Parking needed more lighting. Outdated furniture and fixtures. Not worth 100 bucks a night.

Ill start with the pros: The breakfast they have is pretty good. Biscuits and Gravy was really tasty! Lots of breakfast drinks to choose from. Front desk staff is nice. Cons: Cleaning staff not the best. Walked into my room and its smelled like pizza. There was an empty pizza box and a full garbage can in the corner of my room. Also, there were things left in the fridge from the last person. I also did not have a Do Not Disturb sign for my room. I did not notice till I was woke up my the maid service. I was staying in a pet friendly room. All they would do was waive the pet fee. I was told I could talk to the GM in the morning. The GM did not show up until after my "late" check out. I will not stay at this location again.

Very great, efficient and frankly staff. Easiest experience ever. Located to be able to get anywhere within 10 — 15 min. Definitely coming back next time I'm in St. Louis.

I was able to check in at noon into a clean smoking room that smelled great! After 2 nights at Motel 6 this place wonderful! I love being able to relax in my room, do computer work and be able to smoke w/o going outside. Staff was very polite. Copper, my dog, was pleased too.

Absolute THIEFS. Upon them trying to force me into a VERY disgusting smoking room, (I am a non smoker) I went to the front desk, gave my room key back and said there is no way I am staying in that room. I asked for a non smoking room and they refused. She stated that she would refund my money to my card. Well now they say they have no record of that and it is my loss. Whatever you do. Please do not patronize this slum. These people should have their franchise yanked by Best Western.

Avoid this hotel. I travel frequently and usually like Best Western, but this place ruined my opinion of the entire company. I was charged for a night that I did not stay at the hotel because of a Best Western website issue. Management refused to give any refund. The room was musty and the air conditioner leaked all over the floor. Their fix was to put a towel on the floor. I felt dirty after spending the night there and could not wait until I got home to throw all my clothes in the washing machine to decontaminate them. Listen to the bad reviews and get a hotel at the next exit.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked through Expedia. We requested a non-smoking room. We were placed in a non-smoking room next to 3 smoking rooms. At first our room was fine. We went down to the pool — which was so cold that we couldn't even swim. When we returned to our room and got ready for bed I started to notice some cigarette smoke odor in our room. I started coughing (i have asthma) and my husband called down to get us a different room. We were told that there were no other rooms available until the next night. I started having an asthma attack and headed downstairs. My husband followed and we went to the ER where we spent almost 1000.00 on the ER visit. Best Western requires that you deal with the owner of the specific hotel. After trying to reach him for 4+ days I finally called corporate back and told them he would not call me back. Today I got an email stating (with NO apologies) that it was my fault because I did not ensure that I was on a non-smoking floor (despite requesting a non-smoking room). I am still dealing with this issue but seriously — no matter how cheap you can get it for I would never recommend this hotel! I could have died and they could care less.

One of the worst places I've ever stayed. Booked it for 2 nights thru priceline, then when we got there, we were told there was no room available till the next evening. I went outside and called on my cell, got the same person who was telling us there was no room available and was told there were rooms available. When I went back in and confronted him, he denied ever saying that. We wound up going elsewhere for that night, but decided to stay there the next night since it was already paid. Bad mistake; noisy the room smelled musty/moldy and the "free buffet breakfast" was cereal, stale doughnuts and a couple sausage patties. Never ever again will I go anywhere near this place — probably the most horrible hotel experience I've ever had.
