The room (s) we were assigned were DISGUSTING. The first room had toe nails ON THE BED! Mold on the furniture. The second room was equally as disgusting with mold on most of the furnishings. We checked out after we ate our dinner… and that was two hours too long in this property. The front desk clerk was extremely apologetic and embarrassed. I felt bad for her.

The food is great the service is great ans the rooms are clean.

I fill like a new man. Everybody was nice and the new renovation is looking great.

Best place. Everything was awesome. The rooms, shower, breakfast, and nice ppl! we're from Michigan and this was a great place to stay. Best of all my bugs

I had no reservation but needed to stop. The staff was great. I was travelling with 2 teenage girls and a senior citizen and they made us all have a pleasant experience. Very clean, excellent breakfast. I will stay again when travelling that way.

The rooms were clean and nice, even while under renovations. Sandra, the night auditor, was friendly, patient, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and even stay again. The last star will be for when renovations are complete.

Susan was very nice and friendly at check in and check out. She always had a smile. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Only stay one night, needed to rest on our way to Kansas from Florida. Breakfast opens at 6, perfect for travelers wanting to get an early start. Our kids loved the pancake printer they have in breakfast. Food was good: biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage, pancakes, pastries and muffins, bagels and toast, cereals and oatmeal, milk, coffee, juice, hot chocolate. We've glad we stopped here.

This is a nice hotel. It has been refurbished, with more to come. It was clean and quiet. Sandy welcomed us at check-in. She even called our room later to see if we needed anything. I don't think that has ever happened before anywhere. The breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.

The checkin was easy and the clerk was helpful by switching the room to accommodate a booking error on our part. The room was nice but curtains were stained and the tub was stained or had something splashed in it. Overall price was good for the room we got and we wouldn’t have a problem returning.

The rooms were clean with the exception of the clump of long dark hairs that I found on the bathroom floor. They're so concerned with getting a good rating that they call you ten minutes after you get to your room to make sure everything is satisfactory. After being on the road for eight plus hours with two children, I don't really want the hotel phone to ring. The breakfast buffet was really good!

I was asked upon checking my room if anything under perfect score please dial 0 speak to front desk. Upon 3 attempts, I'm giving 1 star here. First, I travel international every week. This hotel meets all reasonable needs. However, I came to my room late at night, key didn't work — proceeded to front desk and some random maintenance guy asked if my key didn't work. I told him my room number and he directly opened the door. I asked if he needed verification this is my room and he said no. Opened the door. While this was extremely convenient for me, it is nowhere near the security one would expect. And so for this reason only (everything else is accommodating) I am giving one star. Any random person could get into any random room. At any time. This is beyond reasonable. While I appreciated the convenience to get into my room, it was shocking nonetheless. Hopefully by this review, management can better educate colleagues. That is all. All other accommodations are perfect for this price and chain brand. Otherwise 4 star. Thanks. — Chris.

Great experience. The room was very clean, staff was friendly and prompt. The only issue we had was the shower had a very slow drain. Nonetheless we will stay again on our next trip.

The room was presentable but had an undescribable smell and not sure if it had to do with remodeling. The air conditioner unit was dusty. Fridge had mold. Couch looked old and had stains. Bathroom seemed clean but toilet seat had a black streak of some sort on part of the seat and shower head was dirty. The iron was dirty on the bottom and looked old. When came back from dinner around 9pm, no desk attendant at desk. Seemed like anybody could just walk in the building. There were rude loud people on third floor talking aloud and doors being shut with a bang several times and woke me up between 12:30 and 2 am. Could not go back to sleep so got up to write review and can't wait for it to be 5 o'clock so we can leave this place. I'm praying that my car doesn't get broken into. I decided to write review because I am surprised of how many good reviews the hotel had on different sites and the reason I reserved here. But I will never stay here. I'm only glad we had to stay one night. Don't stay here. We were in room 307.

We stopped for one night on our way to Missouri. Room was clean and comfy. Reasonable walk in price. Staff was super friendly and very attentive.

Best Best Western I've stayed at! Clean, reasonably priced, great breakfast. Will always stay there when running that route.

Opted for the king suite. I would've rated 5 stars, but contrary to online description of amenities offered, I was a little disappointed this hotel no longer offers jacuzzi rooms, or smoking rooms. Going out into the frozen weather, as was on that day, got very old very fast. Room was very spacious, updated, nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. What made the daily rate so much of a value was the complimentary breakfast! An all-you-can eat buffet of omelets, sausage patties & links, salsa, shredded cheese, automated pancake maker, cereal, yogurts, and more! Yeah, if you absolutely must stay at a lower quality Super 8 or Days Inn, then cereal and waffles are better than nothing. But if you travel as much as I do, believe me, REAL breakfast choices, make a world of difference!

We were in town due to a death in the family and ended up stuck for two days because the roads iced over. Lucretia and Sandra were amazing… very accommodating, and helped keep us smiling even when the Chinese food we ordered didn't arrive because they delivery guy crashed (he was okay, thankfully), so our dinner never made it. The hotel is clean, breakfast was delicious and even our Yorkie enjoyed her stay. We will be back to visit family and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

I love this hotel! Sandra (Sandy) is the best employee there! Food is always the right temperature. Its always quiet, beds are always cozy and clean. I'm glad i've found this hotel and the amazing staff that works here too.

Pretty good, first room was dirty but hotel staff changed rooms no problem.

The staff without exception is the most helpful and down-to-earth folks, Sandra and Mike always make sure I have everything I need. Housekeeping is also very good, I normally stay on the 3rd floor and have been very fortunate to have their best housekeeper working my floor. Angela knows I need my coffee in the morning she always makes sure I have plenty of coffee and fresh towels. Everything else was on a par with the best of them. I didn't find any negatives.

Decent room for a night. Inexpensive. Would have given a four star review but certain things in my room did not work as they should. AC would not shut off.

Sandra was wonderful on the phone (and at the front desk) helping us make reservations for multiple rooms and multiple dates. The room was clean and comfy and quiet. Breakfast was very good. We had a small dog and the staff was accommodating for that, and their was plenty of green space. The neighborhood is good. Highly recommended.

Price online was good at $92/night. I called to reserve though and the person I spoke with quoted $159.99/night. I reserved online at the $92 price. The bathroom door in our room was really, really worn out. Didn't close or open well and was beat up. The room wasn't cleaned well. There was a cup of water sitting on the A. C. Unit and there was some food on the outside of the duvet footers. The breakfast staff was very helpful and kind.

Great hotel. The staff was good! Only thing I had a complaint about was the furniture needs replaced. The chair had stains all over it. Other than that it was great. We stayed both ways coming and going on our trip.

Check in was fast and easy. I didn't stay in the room very long because I checked in late and checked out early but the room itself was nice. Breakfast had an interesting point, an automatic pancake maker, which I have never seen. Very cool. I would stay here again and hope I have time to see the property in the daylight.

We stayed overnight on our way home from Florida. After being on the road all day, I was cold and tired. The employee working at the front desk overheard me tell my husband that I was gonna check to see if there was coffee. She said there was and said it was old and that she would make me a fresh pot! She did it immediately. Extremely friendly staff, clean room, wonderful breakfast!

Best Western was good. AC worked fine Bed was fine too. Room was clean and comfortable. TV channels were over 700 to go thru. But only 20 or 30 available. No hbo or showtime no sec network. Nice Front desk staff. Breakfast person was slow several items were OUT and slowly refilled and had to ask for some coffee to be made 4 coffee pots empty.

The Best Western plus is a wonderful hotel to stay in. A bit pricey but well worth it. The staff was very friendly and the room was fantastic.

Extra clean! Nice beds… Professional friendly staff, everyone is very helpful and ready to help you with anything you might need help with! Strongly recommend this place, oh, nice hot breakfast too. Only thing is, I think they need to serve breakfast till at least 10:30am. The hours are from 6a-9a. This would be my only complaint. Please consider changing the hours to 6a-10:30a. I'm coming back this summer to visit my daughter & grandbaby and this change would be very helpful! Thank you! See you soon!

This is an awesome place to stay I did not have one complaint. I also stayed in a best Western plus in Texarkana last night. Best Western plus is now the only place for us to stay.

4 star hotel with 5 star service, Best Western Plus The Olive with impressive lobby, beautiful rooms, banquet halls with pool view & an Indian restaurant to die, the best in its class. Value for money, catering to all demand.

My husband and I are truck drivers and often stay in Hotels/Motels. This was an outstanding place. We called in advance for availability, we spoke to Eric he booked our room and had our keys waiting when we arrived. Our room was huge with a king size bed and very clean. We had a great one night stay and will definitely stay there again. Thanks Eric and Best Western for a wonderful experience.

Worst customer service I have ever received. I was told, by a Best Western Employee, that I can check in at anytime but to call 2-3 hrs before arrival so they can have time to get the room ready. Therefore, I planned my travel time and arrival based on that information. However, after traveling 10hrs, with a 6 years old, in extreme tornado warnings, I was told I could not be given a room until 3pm. Which means theoretically I could be with out a place to go for an additional 8hrs. I understand things happen but after causing me such an inconvenience they were completely dismissive. Even when I called the corporate office there was no mention of compensation. Because of the professionalism I found another hotel. Thankfully, I spoke with a manager that was sympathetic to my situation and gave me a phenomenal room for a cheaper price, which is how the Best Western could have at least considered handling the mix up. I have never been so confused, disgusted and offended at any other hotel. Who knows why this mix up was not handled differently? Maybe, its because of my race. Maybe, they have poor customer relations dept. Maybe, the entire company is plain ole incompetent. Either way, I will never ever give Best Western any of my business again!

Had a great stay no issues with the room. Breakfast had a lot of options, Internet was fast and I liked the spacious bathroom and room! Way bigger than what I expected.

Internet here is terrible. Don't tell me you have internet, then have really, really bad internet. You may be thinking, wow, a 1 star review because of slow internet? To that I say YES. Internet is freaking important. Don't skimp on internet.

I rented a nonsmoking room for a single night for my family as we passed through Olive Branch on our way home after visiting family. When I opened the door of the room I was overcome by the smell of cigarette smoke. I went to the front desk to see if I had gotten a smoking room by mistake, but no I was told it was in fact a nonsmoking room. I was also told they were booked up and unable to move my family. So the night manager offered to spray an air freshener in the room to "knock-down" the smell of the cigarette smoke. After a liberal application of air freshener the room stunk of "freshness" and cigarettes. I was told the maintenance staff smokes and can't tell when someone has smoked in the room. And finally if I had any more problems just let the front desk know. By this point it was almost midnight so we just stayed in the cigarette/"fresh" room. The nightshift staff was friendly, but completely unable to resolve the problem. Attempts to contact the manager the next day failed. So my review appears to be my only recourse. I advise anyone interested in a nonsmoking room to find another establishment.

Smokers, this is the hotel for you! We were stopping to stay over night on a trip so we arrived at the hotel at bedtime. When we arrived at the room the over whelming smell of cigarette smoke greeted us. We went back to the front desk and were told they couldn't move us. Instead the front desk attendant gave us the excuse that because all the house keeping smoke they don't know when a room has been smoked in, she then sprayed so much air freshener in the room that it was difficult to breath in the room and told us to let her know if there was anything else she could do for us and left. We had to do our best to air it out by propping the door open. The room still smelled of cigarette smoke, especially the bathroom and now our things smelled of a strong perfume air freshener. Since we arrived at such a late hour we dealt with the smell. I sent a message to the manager which had gone unanswered. I wish I could say this was a isolated incident, but we heard other guest the next morning complaining that their rooms smelled of smoke. This hotel is suppose to be non-smoking, but they do not seem to care if rooms are smoked in and do not clean them properly if it has happened.

Very clean quiet and enjoyable. We traveled with two small children and the staff was wonderful to them and us. Breakfast was great and the staff was attentive to keeping it hot and the dining room clean. The location is near to the expressway and convenience stores are easily accessible.

The room was F A N T A S T I C for the price. We will tell friends and family about the great savings & the friendly staff.

Avoid this hotel. I received severe bed bug bites in room 304 on 12/12/14 — 12/14/14. You will leave this hotel full of bed bug bites. Avoid this hotel.

Clean, nice furnishings, very comfortable beds, and a friendly staff. It's my preferred place to stay when in this area.
