A special place — beautiful. The restaurant, Cora’s, has excellent food and service.

We spent a wonderful evening at the White House Hotel. We loved the live music in the lounge with the beautiful views. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the White House hotel was lovely but even more fabulous was dinner at Cora's in the lobby. I was thrilled to see vegetarian options on the menu and was not disappointed! Chef made a special effort to accommodate us and even came out to greet us. This was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. My 92 year old mom and sister both had the shrimp and fish entree and loved everything! Do not miss this gem among the many tourist venues in Biloxi.

Birthday Brunch for a friend's 65th. We had a very nice time and the food was good; however, coffee was very weak. It was simply dark-colored water.

We spent our anniversary here and couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more! We loved staying somewhere with history, and loved the bar, the AMAZING restaurant and the wonderful staff. The place is gorgeous with a wonderful view. We didn’t want to check out.

We loved having our wedding there! Highly recommend! Even had our rehearsal dinner on the rooftop terrace the night before. The White House Hotel is so beautiful that we didn't need much decor to make our wedding day perfect. So grateful for Mrs. Kim over the events for helping us throughout the whole wedding planning.

We had a great overall experience. Room was great. Pool was beautiful at night. Staff was friendly. We ate dinner at Coras and the steak was wonderful. Appetizers were great. However, I ordered creme brûlée for dessert to go and it was COMPLETELY LAUGHABLE. I was shocked that they would serve it. It was about 4TBSP worth dumped out of its ramekin into a to go container. I asked the server to have it redone, something must have gone wrong and she basically brought back the same exact thing. They definitely need to remedy that situation.

As long as the person didn't want a frozen drink. It seems The White House Bar doesn't serve frozen drinks. Because they don't have a blender. When I asked why I was told by a female bar tender, it was because the blender makes to much noise. I guess the cash Register makes to much noise too. Shhh only quiet drinks served here.

The beach is right across the street from the hotel! Elegant feel, very helpful staff. Cora’s was delicious. We will definitely return.

I had the most wonderful experience tonight on my 45th birthday. The waiter Zachary was amazingly awesome! He recommended food, wine, he he lit the candles and cut a cake that was brought to me. Then after dinner I met friends at the bar. The bartender went above and beyond to make my birthday special. He made a beautiful dragon fruit sculpture and mixed drink! The pork chops were the best I’ve ever had. My husband and son enjoyed their baked, and fried chicken. The customer service at check in was amazing too. This was my first time here as a guest. Most certainly not the last! Thanks for making my day special!

Place is a joke… Overpriced, poorly run, food at Cora's was mediocre. Unfriendly staff.

Rooms are very small for price. Restaurant has amazing food and staff is friendly. Had a lil trouble at check in and added extra $100 for accidental that wasn’t told about ahead of time. But staff was helpful and got everything resolved. At an average of $200 a night would expect a lil more out of room (no fridge, very small space, ocean view was minimal). Wasn’t a terrible experience but won’t spend the money on such a lil room next time with other options available.

We were there for a Christmas party and did not spend the night. But the lobby and party area were exquisite, beautifully decorated, and a great place for photo shoots!

Husband surprised me for my 50th Birthday. Upon arrival, we felt welcomed. Upon leaning that it was my birthday, we were upgraded to the Bridal Suite. Very nice! All staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unique historical hotel if you plan to visit the Mississippi Gulf Coast area.

So, my wife and I have been coming here since our Honeymoon 4 years ago. We absolutely love this hotel. The staff has always been super friendly. The bartenders make great drinks and Cora's has awesome steaks. We highly recommend everyone stay here at least once, and be hooked like we are.

We really had high hopes for this hotel. The accommodations were pretty average. I had thought that they may have leaned into the rich history of the hotel and area in the decor. Any personality and uniqueness portrayed by the exterior was lost in the rooms. In our first room the bedside lamps were falling apart and the dresser/tv stand was undersized. We upgraded to a larger room the next night but still felt the furnishings lacked the quality expected for the hotel. The shower renovation was honestly just poorly executed. The bottom floor of the shower was unevenly grouted which led to exposed sharp edges of the river rock finish. The rest of tile surround was improperly grouted and sealed. In the corners, grout was actually missing which allowed water to pour down behind the wall of the shower. The beds in both rooms were firm but serviceable. By far the most disappointing aspect of our stay was the pool. I had held out hope that the pool would be the one thing that would save the stay but it too was in a similarly poor state. The hot tub was neither hot nor did it have enough water in it to properly function. The water level was so low that the jets were exposed and operating more as fountains. The hot tub and pool were very dirty. Aside from numerous stains there was an accumulation of dirt and gravel at the bottom. Finally the tile grout around the entire perimeter of the pool was caked in algae.

We love this place! The posh decor and friendly staff really knock it out of the park. Scenic view from roof top patio and bar, in house restaurant. Just great.

Excellent service. Comfortable, nice, modern rooms. Easy access to the beach, casinos and nearby restaurants. Good food at Cora's but sometimes inconsistent. Drink specials at the bar are amazing, especially martini night. Bartender Frank is the best.

Historic White House Hotel, is full of history and interesting to check out, however the rooms are small and overpriced. Staff is nice and helpful. Restuarant closes several hours between meals. If your hungry your forced to leave. It was nice to visit but I would not return.

Honestly, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. For being a historic place and being as fancy as it is, the food was okay and there portion size was mediocre. The service was also forgetful. Nice place though.

Great hotel! Restaurant is top notch! Beds are comfortable. No noise. Pool is terrific too! So why only 3 stars? I made a reservation for a beach front room months in advance to celebrate an important life event. I even called the night before to ensure everything was in order. When I got to my room, while it physically faced the beach, there was zero view of the water due to all the landscaping in front of the window. The staff was unable to move me. So I paid for a beach room where I couldn’t see the beach. I was very disappointed. I’ll evaluate whether I’ll return to this hotel on my next trip to the coast.

Whatever you do, DO NOT have a wedding at this hotel. The communication between the staff and the hosts were absolutely terrible. We had set table cloths out and it was calling for rain the day of the wedding, and the staff said they would remove the table cloths from the table if it rained. It started pouring rain and once of our guests went to check to see if they had removed them and they failed to do so. They were soaked and the bride went and confronted them about it. The receptionists starting laughing and smirking at her. VERY unprofessional. I will NEVER be coming back to this hotel! Only thing I enjoyed was the pool.

I’m honestly not sure why the reviews are so high on this place. I usually only stay at ascend brand and this was the worst of the bunch. Here are a list of my issues: 1) pool was dirty and needs a overhaul. One of the worse ascend Pools I’ve seen. 2) hot tub was broken, it’s been broken for a while and it’s not scheduled to be fixed for a while. The website doesn’t say this and the agm gloats that it overlooks the ocean. It’s terribly dirty. 3) Food prep was dismal. It took over 45 min for a veg omelet to be prepared in a empty restaurant. I sent it back and ordered out. 4) management and leadership are lacking professionalism. The agm was clueless, lacked empathy, unapologetic, and too bashful to offer any resolution. She literally sheepishly smiled and said wait till next day to speak with manager. Manager wrote lip service. Promised a comp and didn’t. When I wrote after check out. No response. There is a issue at the top so of course it trickles down. 5) I wanted a vacation and this hotel missed the mark.

Food and rooms were excellent. Very good customer service provided by the front desk when we reserved a room too small for our party. The changed rooms to accommodate us without hesitation.

The rooms are lovely. Hotel management goes above and beyond to provide quality customer service. I did notice the sheets had a strange odor. As if they werent changed in a while. (Not slept in just stale) but overall exemplary staff and hotel as a whole. Great location right on the beach. Witnessed a beautiful wedding.

Decent food and nice atmosphere. Went on New year's eve so they had some issues with it being so busy. Spoke with the manager a few days later and he made it very obvious that he cares about his guests and wants to make things right.

One of my favorites. Great experience. Beautiful pictures and ambiance that takes you back in time. Lovely place I have recommended more than once. You have to experience it at least once.

This is one of my favorite places to stay. You can walk across the street to the beach. The restaurant serves high end food. The bar is very good.

What can I say. I love the mix of modern and historic, the grounds are simply immaculate. Our experience was so refreshing compared to the big named chain hotels. From when I called to make reservations I felted welcomed. Swan is very hospitable. We came for a our anniversary! We ate at Coras and got the shrimp, crab, and crawfish pasta and house salad. Food was amazing! I would highly recommend and will be back! Thank you!

The White House is such a special place. I have been staying here for business for years. The property is very well maintained, the restaurant is always on point with a lovely meal and the staff is exceptional and really do cater to their guests needs. Kuddos to Fran, Frank and Steven especially for always making sure when I get there at odd times that I have a quiet room and a good meal and drink. You guys are the BEST!

My husband and I stayed here Jan. 13-Jan. 14. Everything was amazing! The rooms have that vintage feel but are modern at the same time. The bar was relaxing. The entire property is beautiful! The lady at the front desk, Courtney, was extremely friendly and helpful! I dont see how this place could get anything less than 5 stars! It was the perfect anniversary getaway!

The food at Cora's was amazing. We had lunch there on Saturday. Absolutely delicious, loved the crab cakes, gumbo, and burger. All were fantastic. Sunday's breakfast brunch buffet was spectacular! All you can eat and the food was hot and well seasoned. I can't wait to visit Cora's again for Thanksgiving!

For years this was one of the biggest eyesores on the Coast. Now, it's a jewel. Went to a reception on the third floor balcony. An outstanding view of the Coast. Great service, too.

This is an historic site and is newly renovated. It's absolutely beautiful, has a restaurant with very tasty food, a bar, lovely view of the ocean, and modern furnishings in the rooms. Plus, the staff are super helpful and friendly!

Very friendly staff, half price wine open to close on Wednesday, half price apps from 4-6. No skimp on quality with superb choices. No limited happy hour menu. So delicious! Tuna BLT is divine. Must see the sunset on the terrace. Very well done.

We only stayed for one night but it was the best hotel of the trip. Our room overlooking the pool was very spacious and comfortable. Right across from the gulf, and convenient to restaurants and casinos, but not so close that there's tons of foot traffic. Very nice bar with lots of wine and beer options, reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again!

We celebrated our 4 year anniversary while participating in Cora's, date night special. Surf and turf, roasted potatoes and asparagus with a side salad and bananas Foster for desert. This was a great deal for $40.

Stayed an extra night because it was extra awesome! Location, staff, the locals, nearby things to-do, accommodations, etc… all awesome! Like Atlantic City and New Orleans merged into a better, smaller, cleaner, safer place… a Great place for couples or families! Go!

Very clean, well appointed rooms. The building is a historic old shell that has been very well updated to modern times. Showers were well done, and the complimentary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even mouthwash (! ) ) were very nice. Great views of the ocean and beach, and ample parking all around. I wish I could have stayed longer to get a better feel, but such is life.

Nice hotel, but it is hard to believe that for a room (room 203) that costs $170 per night the bathroom sink is smaller than one you would find in a port-a-let. No bathroom vanity; I had to put my things on top of the toilet while I groomed. Which by the way was conveniently inches away from the port-a-let sized sink. The closet was in the bathroom so everything would get wet from the shower steam.

Beautiful hotel with the best location. The pool faces the beach and the lounge chairs are the most comfortable in Biloxi. Easy drive to the casinos and well worth paying for a room to get away from the smoke! Staff is friendly and helpful! We will never stay anywhere else again! — — The rooms do not have refrigerators but you can request to have one!

A wonderful place to stay while on the Gulf Coast and even a better location to hold an event. They have a great bar and dinning area Cora's as well as a beautiful third floor balcony to watch the sunset on. The grounds make for beautiful pictures for a wedding. We have many guest who our company services and they absolutely love this place!

I do not recommend staying here. The pool and hot tub are nasty. The bar is rarely open, and when it is, the drinks are very expensive. Everyone we saw brought their own booze. The service is inconsistent. Early check in is fairly common in hotels, but when we called to see if we could check in, the woman who answered was adamant that we could not check in until 4. However, our mother called late and it seemed that an early check in was no issue. So whatever. We had hoped that this would be a repeat stay, but it will not.

The renovations to the rooms are nice. We had a comfortable king sized bed. The whole hotel has been nicely renovated. It has some modern updates while keeping the old charm. The pool is a nice size and has a hot tub. The only complaint here is that the pool was green. They've had a lot of rain recently and have been working on the pool alot. The hotel is also right across from the beach which is nice. We would definitely come back again.

Restored historic building with modern decor throughout. We had a king suit looking out toward the beach. It was big and great view. The only downside would be that the rooms echoed quite a bit due to the hardwood floors. This made it a little easy to hear people in the neighboring rooms through the adjoining doors. Restaurant and bar in hotel make it well worth the money.

The rooms are great. There are roomy and spacious. Bring your own pillows if you do not like soft pillows. Customer service was good. I haven't had any reason to report. Great place to relax.

The White House is perfectly located if you are planning a night on the Gulf Coast. The whole place, from the outside, to the lobby, the bar, and rooms were very nice. It feels like you are in an upscale hotel. My only complaint is that there is no valet parking.

Location on the beach was great, close to the casinos and many eateries, too. The rooms was very nice, lots of little special touches that make the experience great. The service pretty generic, nothing special. I would stay here again, but only if there was a promotion going on.

Our event was upstairs on the 3rd floor. I tidbit the atmosphere was nice, I loved the decor throughout. It most definitely exceeded my expectations.

This was our first time dining at Cora's at the white house hotel and it was decent. Would have given a higher rating if they weren't out of prime rib. That was the reason I went here in the first place. The manager seemed to really care less about the fact we came here for the prime rib but were told they were out. He said the kitchen was late getting them cooking. It takes 4 hours so they wouldn't be ready until after the restaurant closed. We both had the pork chop instead. The food was good. Be sure you ask your server for bread or else you won't get it…

Btw Ialso booked this hotel in the hotel after a wondrrful brunch at the end of May 2015 … I booked 5 rooms for my 4 children and my husband for my 60 birthday … on June 6 I called and cancelled due to too expensive and the lady said no problem. Absolutely no problem because it was so early … well today I recieved a bill for 1100.00 … omg I'm sick to my stomach. No cancellation number was offered to me … I thought it was not a problem. … spoke to Brittney in office 3 times today with no luck … it's locslly owned and I asked that the owner call me … no call back yet … Christmas is around the corner and I have 5 grandbabies and 2 on the way … please give me my money back … I even recommended the restaurant to friends and family … HELP … btw our birthday were in September … so that was 3 months notice : (

The White House Hotel is truly a wonderful place to visit. It starts with a very comfortable lobby with several areas to sit and visit overlooking the beach. The lobby bar is different from any I've seen with wine on tap and some great craft beers to enjoy while watching the games on several TVs. The food in Cora's restaurant was delicious and some of the best I've had in awhile. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the beds! Go on up to the third level to find another great bar and upper deck with lounge chairs, fire pits, and best of all — televisions to watch the games while enjoying the great fall weather. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to go to a very up-scale and unique hotel.

This is the third time we have stayed at this beautiful hotel and each time has been magnificent. The staff has always been very professional and courteous from the first warm greeting to the last goodbye. The rooms are extremely nice with the most comfortable beds you will find anywhere! The bar in the lobby is charming and very innovative with excellent choice of wines by the ounce and craft beers from the local area along with some wonderful signature cocktails. Cora's restaurant is very elegant and the food is outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique get-a-way or to just go enjoy good food and beverage with friends and family.

Such a beautiful addition to the Gulf Coast! Rooms, restaurant, bar and staff are exceptional and it is a great place to pamper yourself! We love the terrace where we can sit out on the patio with a beautiful view of the Coast and enjoy some drinks with friends. We highly recommend The White House Hotel for a one of a kind experience.
