This was an absolute beautiful bed and breakfast. We enjoyed our quiet time and the delicious food. Ryan and Jodi were so great and accommodating. I highly recommend this if you are ever out in the black hills. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. Again thank you Black Forest inn bed and breakfast.

Such an awesome place to stay! The beds are comfortable, everything was very clean and the breakfast was fantastic! You won’t find better hosts than Jodi and Ryan!

What a phenomenal stay! My husband & I had never enjoyed a bed & breakfast before but I surprised him with the reservation for our anniversary. Ryan & Jodi set the bar very high and we had such a wonderful 1st experience! The breakfast was amazing and they were so helpful with our many bags, lol. We will definitely be back! Thank you both so much! ❤

Ryan and Jodi are amazing host. Very friendly and accommodating. Jodi is an amazing cook, and her breakfast are some of the best I've had in a long time. The Inn is a very cozy place, and very fitting for the area. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We came to them for our "Mini moon" and we are very glad we did. We will definitely be coming back to the Black Forest Inn on our future visits.

You can have a fire outside or enjoy a book or two from their large library — a beautiful game table complete with every game you’d like to play! A beautiful pool table is in this game room as well!
The rooms are so fun with wonderful decor: the bed and pillows are so comfy you won’t want to get up!

My husband and I stayed at this delightful inn at the beginning of the month. I cannot say enough about the great job that Ryan and Jodi have done transforming this inn into a beautiful space. The finishes are absolutely beautiful and the room we stayed in was incredible, a lot of space, a very comfortable bed and every little detail you could think of. The common areas are beautiful and the breakfast great. Their hospitality and enthusiasm made it feel very special and there is plenty to see and do in the vicinity.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful Inn. The room was spacious and included everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Jodi and Ryan have thought of every detail — we felt pampered. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing! Great location — easy to get to all the Black Hills area has to offer. Highly recommend this as the place to stay for your visit to the area.

We absolutely loved the atmosphere, new friends, and the amazingly kind owners! Beautiful, quiet location that was perfect for coming back to after each day’s adventures. Ron was wonderful and helped us plan our day trips. The food, the food, the food! Breakfast each morning was delicious. The hospitality and smiles from Bruce and Ron make this place special!

We came here for our honeymoon! the staff is very friendly, our room was very clean, and we love the hot tub! wine options are good, the breakfast is out of this world.

Amazing secret in the hills. 30 minutes from home but into a dream land.

The room is beautiful and clean. The owners were very welcoming and I felt safe and cared for!

AMAZING STAY! We will absolutely be back again and again. Gorgeous location, easy to get to, yet still tucked away. We stayed in the Lover's Loft for a romantic evening and I could not have asked for more. The room was clean, no harsh chemical smells, the linens were fresh without smelling like a dryer sheet factory. Towels were plush, there were even robes for us to use but we had brought our own. The jacuzzi was my favorite part, being 35 weeks pregnant, I filled that tub with warm water and salts for a most luxurious night. I opened the blinds so I could gaze at the night sky, the stars were shining bright. The hosts are the nicest people, and truly made our stay so special. Breakfast the next morning was the best breakfast I've had my entire life. Everything was clean, but felt so much like home. I cannot wait to go back. 12/10.

Super clean room, which I really appreciated. Ron was a great host, and we loved breakfast each day. They tidied up our room each day while we were out, so we came home to a nice room every evening. Ron gave great recommendations on dining nearby. We loved the Black Hills and would definitely return here!

We loved this Inn! We especially loved the patio dining with delicious food and drinks and outstanding service! Our room was spacious and conveniently accessed via an outside patio with a hot tub. The bed was comfortable and the hospitality was outstanding!

Great place to relax! Fresh fruits and vegetables for the meals, beautiful patio outside, comfortable rooms! We loved it here!

Great atmosphere, food, and service!

My family stayed a week in this quaint, delightful B&B. The staff were wonderful, friendly and courteous. The inn is well located to visit various Black Hill sites — — Sturgis, Deadwood, Spearfish, Custer State Park, and of course Mt. Rushmore and Crazyhorse Memorial. We highly recommend it. It does have a delightful restaurant too.

Ron is a super amazing owner/host. He was so accommodating, personable, and friendly that it was like staying at a relatives house! He even had his cooks make a gluten free breakfast for me. AND it was delicious!
You really need to stay here if you want to feel “at home”!

Fabulous bed and breakfast!

We ate at Musekamps and the food is fantastic! The owners and staff are wonderful! We enjoy going up there for an evening out of town!

First, the service is so good! If you have ever checked in somewhere and got a rude or discourteous person, that won’t be happening at this place! The welcome you get when you walk through the door is second to none, a warm hello and a tour of the inside of the property.
Secondly, you don’t have to worry about what time they refresh your room because they wait until you leave… talk about convenience!
Thirdly, the breakfasts are delicious and cooked from scratch. First morning we were served quiche that was out of this world, very simple but unbelievably delicious.
Lastly, I almost forgot, the room we had (Serenity) was very clean and the hot tub on the private deck was exactly what my wife and I needed after a busy first part of the year.
If you are looking for a nice simple and relaxing place to reset from work or life, this is the place to be!

My wife and I stayed there last week and loved it. Ron and Bruce were fantastic hosts! Breakfast was different every morning and delicious. When we mentioned where we were going, they gave excellent tips on ways to enhance our excursions. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. We definitely want to come back and stay there!

We LOVED our stay here. Spacious rooms, beautifully decorated. Ron and Bruce, the owners, are super sweet and cooked us a phenomenal breakfast. We hope to stay here again soon!

My wife and I spent 3 night at Black Forest Inn. And loved it, the restaurant is the best in the valley and nice because its away from all the tourist in town. The owners are delightful and were great helping us planning our days activities. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Super friendly owners, great accommodations, excellent service, average food.

We had a great experience! The room was very nice and exceptionally clean. We had a private hot tub that we used every night after a day of hiking and exploring. The hospitality and food was also superb making our stay very enjoyable. I would recommend the Black Forest Inn to anyone.

My entire family stayed for a wedding; we even had the reception with them. And everything was AWFUL! My bedroom was downstairs in the dungeon and I did feel like I was in a scene from a scary movie; there was even a peep hole drilled in one of the doors! Next, the lady was VERY rude, leaving the bride ultimately in tears! Is this how you picture your wedding night? Crying in the bedroom because the host, the "business owner, " made you cry because of how awful she was? She was condescending to everyone, and gave an attitude every time we would try to discuss something. I would NEVER recommend this place.

If you are looking for a great place to stay and a wonderful place to eat dinner — this is the place for you. The hospitality was great and the food was even better. Dinner is served outside on the Terrace and you've got a wonderful view of the meadow below the inn. Our steak was incredible and so was our breakfast.
