Comfort Inn is a very nice hotel. It definitely lives up to it's name.

Thank you to the wonderful front desk ladies who assisted my son and daughter in law when their motorhome broke down on I-90 while moving to Wyoming. I am also a Comfort Suites employee and it melts my heart knowing how much they cared enough to assist me in getting them a room. I highly recommend this hotel!

Just an over night stay but having the convenience of a suite, tucked away in a quiet corner was truly awesome.

We stay here every time we are in city to visit family. Love this Hotel. Very friendly people and clean rooms.

We came for Sturgis and picked this hotel because of a lot of the great reviews. This is by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. All front desk staff are super friendly, the breakfast is great, clean rooms, and the beds were super comfy. The only complaints I have is there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the old breakfast lady was a bit rude! Other than that everything else was great. Thank you for such a great stay!

Very comfortable, lovely staff. Only issue was with the heat and humidity. AC worked great in the room though, so all-in-all a great stay!

No complaints at all. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast offered plenty of good choices. The pool area isn't huge, but was enjoyed by everyone in my family. We had a very nice visit and would stay here again.

Clean and comfortable we stayed 2 nights we didn’t make reservations so we stayed in a very nice business suite the 1st night beds were soft and very comfortable (we was on 2nd floor) 2 queen beds need more waffle machines long line for waffles
2nd night we had to check out and recheck in for a 2 bed queen room beds not as soft and we heard the people upstairs from us (we was on 2nd floor) all night long running and jumping
Pool is small and hot tub is very hot making the pool room hot and humid

Beds were so comfortable, it was extremely clean, the cleaning staff was polite and even their supply closets were neat, organized and clean as I looked when I walked by and staff was in there. The complimentary breakfast had great variety, friendly, caring staff working and the waffles were the best I had at a motel in years. It was quiet. Can't say enough about how good our stay was. Steakhouse near the motel is handy.

After a long, rainy day of driving, we pulled in to Rapid City to find the first 3 hotels we tried were booked. It was a great relief to enter this hotel and be met with three friendly faces. Cindy, Katlynn and Larissa were all great! We chit chatted through some computer glitches that were due to the inclement weather. Even so, we were checked in quickly. Our room was spacious, beds comfortable and breakfast in the AM was varied and plentiful. We will certainly stay again.

The Comfort Suites property is a great place to overnight in Rapid. It's just off the interstate, and right next to a great steak restaurant, so no need to travel far for food. Many cheaper options are within a mile if full service dining isn't desired.

Was the for training, great food and very friendly staff! Gail at the front desk was very helpfully with anything I needed.

The comfort suites was a well situated hotel. We had a large room with a small lounge area. The staff was kind and helpful. There were good amnities available and it was an easy drive to anywhere in Rapid City. I would stay there again.

I truly wish I could take this hotel with me everywhere. The suite was perfectly laid out, with a separate bedroom and kitchenette a bathroom which is far enough away from the sleeping area so you don't hear someone showering while you are trying to sleep. The breakfast was probably one of the best I have ever had. Scrambled eggs, choice of different meats, biscuits and gravy, waffles, two choices flavored a regular, numerous choices for breads and sweet rolls. Was so clean through out the hotel. Gail the front desk clerk was extremely helpful and friendly. Great hotel I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We came here for a trip over July 4 last summer. There actually weren’t many people in the hotel, which was nice. Also, it being on US-16 BYP meant we could turn right and be in the black hills immediately. Very close to inner Rapid City too, so we weren’t too far from good restaurants. Overall, great hotel.

The employees were warm and welcoming and understanding of guests needs. The rooms were clean and tidy. And the breakfast had a large assortment of food available. Overall a nice visit.

Staff were helpful and efficient on reception. Room was spacious but room felt a bit dated. Some fixtures in bathroom needed fixing and housekeeping could have been a little better but was ok for a night.

All the staff has always been very friendly and helpful the last four times we've stayed. Waylon, as well as the wonderful breakfast ladies were just a few of the people who made our stay A+!

Had to stop for one night as very tired from travelling. But as it was basically full I paid a lot of money for solo traveller.

We took a road trip over the summer and spent three nights here while exploring the Black Hills. Of all the hotels we stayed at in six states, this is the only one that gets five stars. It is the ONLY hotel that put an AARP rate customer on the ground floor. As our trip progressed it became my pet peeve that we were always sent upstairs. The mini suite we got had a jacuzzi tub that was excellent. Good breakfast. Good staff. Good cleaning. On site laundry. Steak house across the parking lot serving buffalo. All in all a nice experience.

Big spacious rooms and awesome continental breakfast would definitely recommend and stay again! Guest services was always happy to help!

Very good and nice environment, it has swimming pool and fitness. Their breakfast room is big and a lot of varieties. Coffee is excellent. I really enjoy to stay in this hotel.

For us, it was a hotel to step in and immediately feel comfortable. Newly/renovated and spacious rooms, our room was exactly according to our preferences. Friendly staff, good breakfast, great value.

The Comfort Inn in Rapid City, SD was a wonderful place to stay for our recent vacation. The hotel and room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were many choices for breakfast each morning. I would return to this hotel in the future and I recommend it to friends and family.

We stayed overnight while on our way across the country. The room was very nice and the staff was great. Highly recommend staying here if you are in need of lodging in rapid city.

Our room is nice and the service has been good so far. The pool is nice and the included breakfast has met expectations. Wi-Fi has been spotty at times, but other than that I have no real complaints.

YES! WOW! Very very clean. Even the Sheets were tucked in just right. We got the same type service that we would at a four or five star resort! Liz, Melissa and Gale we're not only great at the front desk and booking but were like personal concierge telling us all about the area and what was best. When I come back, and to everyone out there this is the PREMIER hotel of Rapid City SD.

We drove straight through from milwakee to rapid city and at 6am were looking for a place to stay. The lady at the front desk helped us with a day rate and a nice room overnight. Beautiful room, looked and felt clean. Wonderful staff, very nice breakfast spread and perfect location. If we come back to the area again I will definitely consider this hotel again!

We found ourselves "stranded" in Rapid city with transmission problems. Luckily we found The Comfort Suites Convention Hotel in Rapid City, SD. What started as a trip home to MN from Montana, ended up there for 5 nights. The ENTIRE hotel staff was Exemplary! The front desk was extremely helpful & accommodating. The free breakfast & staff are missed every morning. The housekeeping was extra caring with a young baby napping, my son in law working from a packed hotel room, and we always had what we needed & were never interrupted. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds were relaxing & location of this hotel was near everything we needed. 10 stars wouldn't be enough for this Hotel! Thank you!

Super friendly staff, affordable, clean, comfortable, and quiet. We stayed here with our 4 kids. My wife and I had the king room inside a double queen suite. It was awesome. Pool is sort of tiny, but we just swam first thing in the morning, it was hectic in the evening. Internet is complimentary and was good enough for the kids to watch Netflix without any problems. We would definitely stay here again.

Overnight front desk staff was rude and seemed to be bothered by us checking in/asking questions etc. Morning staff was helpful and friendly as was the cleaning staff. Room was spacious and clean, beds were extremely comfortable. We love staying at comfort suites when we travel because it accommodates our family size (two teenagers that need separate beds).

Needed a place to stay for a family vaca. Had good experience and comfort suites in the past. This hotel was no different. Clean spacious rooms and friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Location is pretty convenient with everything in the area that you need. The room is very cozy, our a/c unit is a little noisy at times, but I got used to it. Staff is friendly and the continental breakfast is pretty good.

Just fine. Good hot breakfast. Pillows ate aggressively fluffy and strained my neck. House keeping missed a few goodies from the previous occupant. Wouldn't live there, but just fine for passing through.

Stayed here now 3 different times and each time I was treated good. Breakfast is decent, good coffee, area is clean and food is kept stocked. Rooms are. Comfortable and clean. Also up to date with comfortable mattress and flat screen TV. Staff is courteous.

We rented a suite for our family holiday party. It was more than enough room. The large dinning room table was great to enjoy a holiday meal together.

First off, let me start by saying that my husband and I are repeat customers here at comfort suites and also their other hotel, cambria suites. Every time we come to town we stay at either depending upon room availability. We are also a part of the choice rewards club and have been VERY happy with services here. That being said, today as my husband booked the room over the phone and as I checked in, we did not get the same good feeling from the front desk lady, Lisa who took care of us. My husband booked the room for me and let them know that I'd be the one checking in. After completing the call he let me know that the lady on the phone didn't seem friendly at all today. Upon arriving, as I stood in line holding my 7 month old, keeping my two year distracted, and watching all of our luggage I felt that I was purposefully overlooked as another lady came in. Lisa took a look at me then went to where the other lady was and asked to help her knowing I had been waiting. The lady offered that I was next and Lisa seemed irritated by this as she checked me in. I have never seen this kind of attitude with any of the choice hotels before and it has disappointed me. Although, it seemed as though she was training another lady and was maybe trying to impress her, I don't know. We shall see how tomorrows stay goes and I will update my 3 star customer service review.

Comfortable Stay! Beds were nice, That alarm clock! Loved! You can plug your IOS, or an MP3 and listen to your music! Absolutely Stunnishing. I can't think of a bad thing… Btw, writing this from my room and under a table. Did you know they have a tiny piece of paper under this table? Dunno, Great Place still!

I love the hot breakfast every morning when I stayed there we stayed there through the 12th to the 17th of May friendly staff the beds were not too hard nor too soft but just Wright.

Rooms were very clean and and nice size. Beds were not too hard or too soft, but just right. The front desk was very accommodating toward special requests.

This place gets highly rated on Trip Adviisor. Rooms are nice enough. But the breakfast is inedible. I asked whether the eggs were powders and was told " Heck no! We get em in a bag! " Service is generally that clueless.

Nice clean hotel. Great breakfast. Prepare to pay high prices in tourist season. One complaint is they went small on the pool. Not much room when it is busy. If you really like to swim, not sure this pool will meet all your needs. Overall a positive experience.

Wonderful hotel! Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay while vacationing in the Black Hills. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly. We would recommend this hotel.

In all my 30 years of traveling, this hotel is on my top 10 list for everything. The staff is second to none. I called to check rates before I made a reservation. I talked to a very friendly and helpful manager named, "Katie". She offered me a better than advertised rate for staying two days! When I arrived to check in "Gayle" was behind the counter to check me in. She was so helpful and kind. I made it to my room. I was very tired, all I wanted to do was lie down. The beds were incredibly comfortable. 20 times better than my bed at home! lol The next morning I went downstairs to have breakfast. There was a lady there that kept checking up on me. I was hoping for eggs and breakfast was over and the eggs were all gone. No biggie, I can get over that. But this lady INSISTED that I wait if I had the time and she would make me up some fresh just for me. I was flabbergasted over the kindness. I made it back to my room to relax, play on my laptop and watch some TV. The LCD flat screen TV's had great clarity and lots of channels to choose from. The internet seemed very fast, so I did a speed test and found that my download speed was 25meg! WOW! I can't even get that back in Lincoln NE! Overall this place is awesome. My husband and I have been traveling for the whole month of October and we spent two nights in the Black Hills. We stayed at the Comfort Suites in Rapid City and both of us agreed that it was the nicest hotel on our whole trip. It is pretty new and we felt like we were in the lap of luxury, the rooms are big with a sofa and chair, also it had a microwave and fridge. We loved the staff and have made reservations to come back this summer and bring our family.
