My husband and I wanted to explore Amish country and looked into staying at a nice woodsy location. The Inn at Honey Run was just that, beautiful and quiet. One of the main reasons we booked was the Open Air Art Museum, I love all things art and was excited to check it out. I assumed it would be accessible being outside but unfortunately, the path up to the museum was loose gravel and my chair could not get through the bottom entrance. I hope one day something can be put down that’s easier on power chairs and allows everyone to access the art. All in all, it was a great stay— our room was nice and clean, staff were very friendly and accommodating, the accessible trail was a very pretty walk. My favorite part ended up being the small outdoor patio next to the restaurant. Such a gorgeous relaxing view surrounded by trees — I felt like I was up in a tree house and with not many people around we had it all to ourselves. We will be back for another getaway!

The Staff is Exceptional, and the Setting is Breathtaking! You will never go hungry. The Menu, and Fare, are out of this World! Feeding the Sheep was my most favorite activity, and will be missed! Hank, their Ambassador Extraordinaire, is Handsome and Cuddly beyond Measure. The Birds and the Trails put you in a state of Calm and Awe. The greatness is in the details! 4 Days of Heaven. We will return in 2 weeks for a celebration!

Thank you so much for this perfect weekend. We came here for a Christmas get together, where the food was oh so yummy and the space decorated so beautifully. We then stayed over night with breakfast brought to our room. Everything was top-notch. Hmm…. This may have started a new tradition. We will definitely return.

This is hands-down a 5/5 place to stay… so beautiful and peaceful! Food and drinks are delicious. Rooms are perfect and so comfortable. Staff is incredibly nice and welcoming and accommodating. We want to make this an annual stay now!

We just stayed here for the night in the honey comb suite for our Honeymoon and it was just perfect and beautiful! So peaceful and very clean! We even made a little cat friend who constantly followed us to our private patio! I highly recommend this place and really want to come during the fall next time! The only thing I would suggest is that the jets and filter in the tub be cleaned better or replaced other wise this place was perfect!

Beautiful, cozy rooms with comfy chairs to relax in and beautiful views out of the windows. Tarragon restaurant had excellent uniquely delicious food. The young lady at the front desk was most helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute!

First off the grounds are amazing. With the leaves and the trails definitely worth the trip. The food is awesome and the staff is pretty great.
With that being said here are a few things that are not so good. The rooms are in need of repair with loose tile in the bathroom floor and The wall bumper coming into the bathroom had fallen off the wall. The tub is dated along with the room. The satellite TV kept going in and out and for $428 a night I would have expected more. You'd be much better off staying at Berlin resort or the Carlisle Inn and paying half and having a beautiful room.

Love! Love! Love the Inn at Honey Run is so peaceful and a favorite getaway for both myself and my husband. We try to get away at least once a year to reconnect, rejuvenate and relax. You can’t go wrong staying here and for an added bonus you have one of THE best restaurants on the property! Tarragon is such an added treat!

The Inn at Honey Run is one of favorite places to come relax and unplug. We’ve stayed here a number of times. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. The Tarragon restaurant food, service and ambiance is fantastic. Its a bit pricey but great quality. It’s a lovely spot for hiking outside. I love waking up to the birds chirping and visiting with the sheep.

Wonderful peaceful and serene. We stayed in the honeycomb club-level suit. Very clean and loved the rock patio. Hiking trails available. Restaurant is very pricey but steaks were excellent. Free wine and hor d'oeuvres if you stay in honey comb. Only downfall, wine was awful, had no sweet wines available. Overall one of my favorite resorts due to its nature, peacefulness, and privacy!

The views, trails, town and rooms where great. Room was very clean. Area/town has nice shopping. The food at the inn was kind of sad though. The brunch menu might as well have been a breakfast menu. Not sure if I'd go back, once may have been enough.

Always ask for a North facing room to view birds feeding, so many varieties. Love the honeycomb rooms, beautiful setting, worth the price. Terrigon dinning is also a gem for an upscale experience. Chef will share how he makes your favorite food.

Very disappointing. I’ve traveled all around the world and experienced many wonderful places, but unfortunately this room was not valued in accordance with the price per night cost. The description of the room says fully equipped, but yet NO mini fridge or microwave. GFCI outlet in bathroom tripped when wife was blow drying he hair… would NOT reset. Brought this to the attention of clerk at checkout and he just ignored me and asked for my room key and key card back — Not the customer service I’d expected to receive. Would NOT recommend to others.

Stayed a couple nights at the honeycombs. Beautiful room, private patio situated such that you felt you were in the middle of nowhere and no sign of neighbors. (Though there were several — didn't see or hear anyone from our room or patio). Bird feeders at the private patio so we bird watched and sipped wine. Walked the 1.5 mile trail with art and poetry stops. Visited the sheep of course. Had dinner two nights at the Tarragon and both meals were outstanding. Also enjoyed the wine and apps that were part of our package. Staff was wonderful. Truly a relaxing getaway.

This place is beautiful! Everyone here was so nice and great to work with. We stayed in the honey comb and ordered breakfast in bed. Best decision! The food was amazing and the sounds of birds made for a very relaxing morning! We also ate at the on site restaurant last night. Service was outstanding, food was delicious! This place comes highly recommended. Wish we could stay another night to explore the grounds and all the trails the property has to offer.

Everything was perfect! It was quiet relaxing and very peaceful. They are located in the middle of every place I wanted to visit. We highly recommend this place!

Great staff and Inn. It's a drive to get there through Amish country for sure, but if you're looking for a quiet place away from the city, it's hard to beat. Rooms are very nice and well equipped. Bed was comfortable, food was very good, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Lots of trails to hike and a truly beautiful piece of property nestled back in the woods. Unique experience and a nice change of pace if you are a suburban or city dweller.

Extremely nice experience! We stayed in the Cardinal Cabin and found it to be very comfortable. There are nice large windows everyplace you look so you have a fantastic view of the terrain, the sheep and tons of beautiful birds. The beds appear lumpy and questionable, but let me tell you, they are so comfortable that it's crazy! The living room area is nice and cozy, so you can enjoy the view, the fire place and the TV all at the same time. One problem in this area is that the only comfortable place to sit is the couch. The two chairs are not designed for comfort. Adding a foot stool to that space would help considerably! There is a fantastic covered porch off of the dining area that holds a nice patio set and a hot tub. The hot tub is not your typical tub. It's actually rather shallow, round and soft sided, with no seating inside. But none of that really mattered because the water was 104 degrees and the view was amazing! Two things that I need to mention about the cabin; (1) be careful when you first walk inside, because that first area is raised and you must step down into the living room area. If you're not careful, you'll stumble. (2) at some point, you'll be sitting on the toilet and will reach for toilet paper… only to find that you can't seem to locate any. You'll start to panic for just a moment. Calm down and remember this review, because I'm about to share with you where you'll find that holy grail paper! Reach under the sink… yep, under the sink!

March 11th – 13th, 2018 Issues we had with the quality of our room (Trillium Cottage). 1. The faucet for the tub has chrome peeling off and looked disgusting. 2. The floor vents throughout were all bent up, broken, and had sharp 3. Chair in the bedroom had an arm broke. 4. There is a switch behind sink for a disposal but under the sink the disposal is gone and electrical wire is just wrapped around plumbing. (safety concern) just pay to remove circuit! unreal. 5. The kitchen cabinet hinges are loose and feels like doors are falling off. 6. The TV in living room was just sitting on a cabinet on top of the satellite box with wiring just laying everywhere. There are many options for hiding wires and mounting tv's — this is first thing you see when you walk in. 7. Satellite in living room did not work. When it finally did start working the 32 inch TV is too small for the distance of the furniture. We could not even read the guide when sitting down. 8. The mirror behind tub was worn off at bottom and just looked old. 9. Phone on counter had long cord just bunched up and looked terrible. 10. The curtains have nasty stains all over them from years of use and made us feel very dirty! The is just no way your company was not aware. You guys completely ripped me of my hard earned money and should be ashamed for what you charge. I have stayed in $100 hotels that would blow this out of the water.

A first class little resort in Ohio's Amish country. From rooms to food it's all done right.

After taking the sleigh ride my two sisters and I recently spent the night and it couldn’t have been a more relaxing time. We had dinner at the Taragon enjoying delicious food. Waking up to a view of squirrels and a variety of birds. I only hope I can return and visit the outdoor art exhibit and maybe stay in the hillside cabins. Highly recommend.

This was our second time visiting The Inn at Honey Run and the experience was just as good as the first. The staff was helpful and very friendly. We stayed in the honeycomb suites and the room was very clean and comfortable. We ordered room service breakfast and it was delicious! Our family has been coming to Honey Run for 3 generations and we will continue to suggestion this as a quiet, relaxing destination for all of our friends.

This was my first time staying at the Inn, and I very much enjoyed the experience. Our room was very nice, the bed comfortable and the view was beautiful! The food in the restaurant was amazing! This was a New Year's get away for two nights, but I wouldn't have minded staying longer.

Definitely coming back here again! Beautiful scenery and trails. Top shelf restaurant and accommodation.

What in the world happened to this place? This was our third visit. Our first two were fantastic which is why we kept going back. But this time we left feeling uneasy and very disturbed. Staff was indifferent, insincere, and blatantly ignored us when we were checking out. Plaque in gift shop wishing someone would step on a Lego and that it would hurt (What? ) and then a bizarre mural on one of the walking paths of an enormous bloody shark fight! What does a violent ocean scene have to do with relaxing and retreating? Do not plan to go back after this! Creepy experience and dark and oppressive atmosphere. It was not at all what we expected.

Have been here 3 time's and the accommodations are excellent. Highly recommend it. Comfortable furniture, cozy well appointed rooms. Great restaurant on sight. Close to many attractive and interesting stores. Very pleasant grounds to walk.

The Inn is nice, but a couple of issues. The room had a musty/mold smell that was noticeable. Then, there are the room key thing: at check in, you are given a brass room key for your hotel room and a plastic key to allow you in the front door to the Inn. On checkout, we returned the brass key to the front desk and left the plastic key in the room. Next day, we got a call that we will be charged $15 for the plastic room key. We checked all of our pockets, etc for the plastic card and we are certain we left it in the room. Upon calling back, we were told housekeeping didn't find the plastic key and we were going to be charged $15. I feel like we are being stiffed because we were not told about returning the plastic room-key on check in or check out.

The Inn at Honey Run is a very nice hotel, nestled in a beautiful part of Ohio. Skip the room service (seriously, skip it) and dine at the hotel's restaurant, Tarragon. It's one of the best restaurant experiences you'll have.

Lovely grounds and fantastic room. We stayed in a honeycomb suite underground. It was adults only with walking trails, an outdoor art path and sheep!

Beautiful resort and grounds. Room was spacious yet felt cozy. We ordered the Fruit and Cheese platter with Mead and it was waiting for us when we got there which was a lovely snack for the evening. Decent selection of free Blu-Rays to rent. The Open Air Art trail is a *bit* misleading as there are only 4 major art pieces at the time and the rest of the points on the trail are Haikus. The last leg of the trail was blocked by construction equipment, so we had to get a bit muddy getting around.

Grounds are fantastic. Porch from honeycomb room has fantastic views. Food has been amazing. Only complaints are the mini fridge has a bad compressor that rates and open air museum was sparse.

We've been coming here since the days of the original owner. The new owners have made several improvements to update the feel and make it more modern. My wife and I like it very much. However, on our last visit this past weekend, we're concerned about the pricing. $300 for a room with a king bed, two recliners, and a nice view. Again, rooms nice with updated decor but still have a 70s layout. Not $300 nice. The on site restaurant is greatly improved from years past, but again prices are overly high. $5 for a cup of tea. $13 for biscuits and gravy. The grounds are very nice. This is what really separates this place from the rest. Nice short hiking trail. With all the added competition in the area, the owners would be wise to reconsider their price levels.

We've Always Loved visiting here (this was our 4th time), but this last visit was anything but loved. We had a deal to use, but had to take a downgrade from what we paid for because of my husband's schedule (which I thought would be 100% fine & still great! ). Plus the room that the deal was good for, was never available/always booked up. Anyways, it was NOT great. It reminded me of the motel 6 or super 8 rooms I'd stayed in as a kid before. Plain white walls, paint chipping in the bathroom etc. It almost seemed like it was being renovated because there was a big armoire in the corner, but nothing in it (shelves/way to hang clothes) just put there, maybe to store it? The bed was okay, but the a/c was horrific! Never keeping the room temp consistent and it blew straight on me all night, giving me a literal cold, in the middle of June. It was also the loudest unit I've heard in awhile. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is for the people who work there. Our waitress was wonderful & the kitchen tried to accommodate my allergies as best as possible! The Chef even made me my own dessert to eat at breakfast the morning of check out (because I couldn't have the lemon cream dessert I'd gushed over to the waitress), the pastry chef made me a lemon Creme Brulé that tasted wonderful! Ps. I subtly brought our dissatisfaction to the front desks' attention while checking out, & they simply said that's weird and they'd have the maintenance people check on it.

Stayed in a beautiful room with great amenities. Very comfy king sized bed. Large picture windows framed the woods. My husband and I sat in captains chairs facing the windows and watched squirrels zipping through the trees. The restaurant, Tarragon, was good, but pricey. We were very disappointed with a small $28 plate of spaghetti that was tossed with tomatoes and cheese. The inn is situated on 54 acres that we did not get a chance to explore due to weather. Very convenient to Amish country attractions. Would stay there again.

Great friendly service! High class dining. The winter months are very quiet. Very private club-level honeycombs.

Ideal location in the middle of a forest, in Amish country, recommended for romantic weekends. Went there for my birthday and they really helped in making this a special event. Also a place you can rent for weddings.
