Clean rooms everything was good.

They stole my jewelry. Not only was it real gold it had my late fathers ring on it. Then they had the audacity to be rude to me when I asked the lady at the front desk to ask her housekeepers. Apparently they have junkies as housekeepers so don’t take anything nice.

The Best Western and Canal Winchester Columbus, Ohio, On Saturday March 23rd 2019 I have never experience such horrible customer service in my life. Tammy treated us like we were criminals because of the color of our skin. Let me start out to say, We had traveled out of town to this Best Western Canal Winchester. I had went up to the hotel after making previous reservations I took my grand kids in my kids in the hotel all under12 years old. We had …booked 2 rooms 3 adults and 6 children. I went to check in to our roomsTammy the assistant manager accuse us of having a party even before we checked In. She question me like she was the Gestapo Or the Hotel Police. About some sort of party. I had no idea what she was talking about. I tried to explain to Tammy that we drove out the town and we were very tired and just wanted to get the Room step we paid for. She went and called reservations and canceled our rooms. Our small children all under 12 years of age were left stranded without any rooms. In a strange town. I had called customer service about the issue. It is now Tuesday the 26 of March and customer service have not me about this problematic issues. This tells me that the Best Western company does not care about the customer. We had a very Traumatizing experience. Both for my children, my grandchildren and my whole family. After being left without any place to lodge for the night. Tammy took upon herself to cancel our reservations.

I called multiple times regarding our reservation and had terrible customer service. Tammy was the only worker I spoke to that took the time to answer my question and was actually nice. Once we checked in, we found a couple dead bugs on our bed (did not look like bed bugs). The front desk rep seemed annoyed and stated “there was only one dead bug in there” and that their “cleaning people left for the day”. Terrible customer service and will not be staying again.

A great value for your money. Located close to downtown Columbus but you don't have to pay to park. They had the softest towels I have ever experienced at a hotel in any price range. I would have like to use the pool but they close it kind of early.

Nice hotel with all the necessary amenities needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Offers complementary breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. Happy with the stay.

Very clean and up to date. I think Best Western is a top choice when choosing a place to stay away from home. I've never been disappointed. Breakfast was amazing and they have a pool also. Thanks for the peace of mind.

Love this place I can always go here to relax and get away from everything their whirlpools in the rooms are so nice and relaxing can't wait to go back.

Easy and friendly check-in. Room was fine but over priced for a Best Western in Canal Winchester, OH. Hotel is non-smoking but room smelled from years of smoking allowed in the room.

Phone was out. I knew that at checkin but clerk/mgmt. Did not tell me TV was out because of phone system. Other than that hotel was nice.

Stayed a week. Nice and clean rooms, most of staff was very nice. Cleaning staff did not change bed sheets even when we request it specifically. We had a serious problem with entry keys to side doors and our rooms. We had to get them recoded atleast two times every day. It was very inconvenient and frustrating. One of the desk clerks got a little snotty about our problem with the keys towards the end. As it is the it place to stay close to my dad's house, I will have to use it again.

I’ll never stay at this place again. There was a huge bunch of kids running the hallways in the middle of the night and trying to get into our room. The front desk then called in the middle of the night and tried to tell us we were in the wrong room. We had been there since the middle of the day. Also how in the world would it have been the wrong room when our key worked and they wrote our room number on our key holder? It was awful! I barely got any sleep. As far as cleanliness, the room was decent, but nothing to rave about.

I loved it. I have stayed here 3 times and I’m staying a fourth this weekend. Every time I have stayed here the staff has been incredibly nice and understanding. The rooms are clean and comfy and smell nice and it’s close to several places to eat!

Do not go to best western on canal Winchester. They will say your room smell like smoke and keep your $150 deposite. I told the lady to check there cameras and they will see every time I went out to smoke but she refused and told us to leave. So I told her that's its not right I want to speak to a supervisor so when I said that she called the cops on me so they came cop went in room and said it didn't smell like smoke but that didn't matter the cops said they can't do nothing cause its Hotel rules. Then I asked the cop if they can write me something saying they didn't smell smoke and she said no. Then on top of it all they ran my name I had no Id on me so I gave her my name and SSN number and the cop's said they could find my name so then she says if you have a warrent that I need say tell them now with additude so I got up set took a few steps away and she threaten to aresst me if I move any. Long story short I was treated like a criminal and I have never do anything or ever broken the law. What do I do from here the only proff I have is the hotel videos to show every time I went out to smoke so now I have no money cause they kept my deposit.

Clean rooms and a wonderful staff that were super helpful, caring and courteous and just all around wonderful! The hotel is also conveniently located next to several restaurants and a Walmart, which was very nice. Would definitely stay here again in the future when I'm visiting the area.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. My wife and I agreed that a "three" star was in order. The breakfast was satisfactory, the coffee was great. The pool looked inviting, but not this trip. The parking lots are covered by security cameras although I did not see any inside the hallways. It appears to be a fairly new facility. There was plenty of hot water on the second floor and my wife said the bath was enjoyable. The room was equipped with free television, a microwave oven and a refrigerator, as well as an iron and ironing board. There was a desk in the corner of the room (see my photos) and the Wi-Fi, which was free, was strong and reliable during our visit. The bed was comfortable yet supportive and the in-room room conditioner was ample to the task of keeping our room warm and comfy. I would recommend Canal Winchester Best Western to any traveler looking for a clean, comfortable night's sleep. Al Colombo.

It is conveniently located to I-270, shopping, food, and activities… moderately priced… pleasant rooms… nicely decorated… a comfy continental breakfast.

It was one of the better ones I love that its around shopping areas very clean smell good even walking thru the halls you smell the freshness would stay there again keep up the good work workers.

A great location — if you need to be on the south side of town. Close to restaurants, inexpensive gas, coffee, and a highway. The rooms are nice and clean and the facilities are okay.

The stay was over all nice. The rooms were clean, the employees nice and had a pool and jacuzzi. The only things that would have made this a 5 star visit was that the electrical socket behind the night stand did not work and the water in the jacuzzi could have been hotter.

I was scheduled for two nights and am moving to a different hotel after one. The only good was friendly staff. The negative… They charge five bucks a person for people not on your reservation if you use the pool. Silly. (I have three kids staying with Grandparents but they wanted to swim too) Continental breakfast was horrible. The eggs tasted bad and had the texture of rubber. The biscuits were dry and hard. *waffles were good* I'm the eat anything kind of guy, and barely ate anything. No second floor ice or vending. I never found an elevator. That's a big pain when your toting bags. VERY small bathroom. Hallway smelled like b/o and the stairwell smelled like a bar (very smokey). Overall this hotel was not a good experience, they could do more to make this a better experience but overall I'm disappointed with best Western. Hoped this helps.

I was looking for a nice hotel with a jacuzzi suite and ended up booking online with an agent as most of the hotels who had these in Columbus were booked. I was initially put off because it was a Best Western and I generally stay at Hilton owned hotels because of their cleanliness. My daughter who works for a chemical plant that supplies them their cleaning products assured me not to worry because I know the quality of their products. Well, we arrive and find out we have a balcony that overlooks the pool area so our room got all the noise of screaming kids in the pool. Evidently they book birthday parties here. Then when we turned on the jets to the jacuzzi tub there was scum that came out of the Jets and was floating around. My daughter told me that's because they didn't clean and sanitize the tub properly. When I went to use the phone to order more pillows, the phone did not work. We turned the TV on and were watching a show and the TV was blacking out periodically. They also take a credit card and charge $150 on it in case you have a party, smoke in the room or have more people stay in the room. They did however provide two robes for our use but after taking them out of the basket I noticed a printed sheet in the basket that said if the robes come up missing they'll charge your card on file $100 for each robe. This they don't tell you at check in. The room itself was $200 of wasted money.

Real friendly staff and really nice rooms. The Wi-Fi can be a little hit and miss, but overall I had a great experience.

This hotel is one of my favorites! I have stayed at Red Roof Inns, Microtels, Holiday Inn, Value Place, Comfort Inn, etc and this is by far my favorite. The location (Canal Winchester) is perfect, the pricing is really nice, especially if you sign up for their point program, the rooms are always clean, the staff is super nice, and we have never had a problem. My boyfriend and I have stayed here about 7 times in the past few weeks and we will keep coming back!

The hotel was nice and clean. Rooms beautiful. The young lady at the desk was so helpful and considerate… the breakfast was the best I had ever had in a hotel, large variety. Fresh… I was totally impressed with the hotel and will b staying there whenever I go to columbus!

This is one of my favorite go to hotels to book at, rooms are always clean, staff are always very polite and we have built report so that makes u feel good. I have never had any issues. Prices are not bad at all. I recommend this place to anybody!

Super friendly staff and extremely clean/nice rooms. The breakfast in the morning is also great. I just stayed for the night and it was exactly what I wanted especially for the price. I would definitely stay there again.
