Love the hotel however when my daughter and myself checked in we had enough time to put the food in the fridge drop our bags and leave to go back to the hospital and by the time we came back around midnight we found the fridge was off and not working so we lost 40 dollars worth of food and I was just told I’m sorry there is nothing we can do.

Lovely room, nicely appointed … Excellent recreational pool area with two water slides, a sauna & hot tub; my husband is 62 yo & had as much fun (or more!? ) than the two pre-teen boys he alternated sliding runs with! … Hopefully breakfast tomorrow will be good, too!

We like coming here because it's pet friendly and the waterslides are fun for our son. Hotel requires wristbands to show who is a guest in the pool but they don't enforce it. So many kids enter without bands. Glass bottles in the pool area and again… no one checks. Anyone can enter through the back of the hotel… It's unlocked. Such safety issues. This trip the jacuzzi was out if order : (

Clean and cozy. Very friendly staff. Lots of fun on the water slides. I would say a slightly larger than the standard sized pools, for all the hotels that are being built now. Good selection for breakfast.

The hotel was nice and clean, staff was nice, food was good and hot and varied. Pool was a nice temp, slides we're nice but hard to deal with toddlers in the pool area. Floors were terribly slick and hard to walk on without falling in the pool. Wish the kitchen area in the room was a little bigger but the room was very nice, beds were comfortable. One bed had a mark on the sheet we were unsure if the kids climbed in and made it or if it was there but they helped us get the sheets changed so that worked for us. The living area the floors were tile and again super slick if you had wet feet so kids kept falling. The wall above the AC unit was a bit soggy and the unit didn't work. We didn't complain or say anything because we were fine probably should have mentioned it on the way out. We would have tried the bar if we hadn't had the kids. Hotel was close to Perkins so ate there for dinner. Nice to have decent food within walking distance. Overall good stay but probably won't stay again until kids are older as it was hard to keep them safe in the pool area. But otherwise we really liked it.

Great family hotel. Clean, spacious rooms and a hearty free breakfast. The pool is better for kids old enough for waterslides. Pet friendly too.

The room and hotel in general was very nice, my major beef is with the pool. The pool deck is god awfully slick. I slipped and fell holding my daughter. Fortunately we didn't suffer any major injuries. The time I spent at the pool I probably observed 8 or 9 children slip and fall. My youngest son did however have a blast on the slides.

The staff was very friendly and catering. The pool area was well taken care of, rooms were huge and clean, and the continental breakfast was amazing. My only complaint was the employee who checked me in. She was rude to not only me, but my family and I could tell that she made the rest of the staff uncomfortable.

The Female manager was abrasive insensitive and rude. My rental car was stolen, I was short on cash, crying and disoriented. She threatened that if I didn't come up with the money for another day, I would have to leave. I had to pack and contact my son to pick me up. We sat in the car until he could calm me down. People such as this should never work with the public. In addition the cleaning staff told me that their manager is rude insensitive to their needs and when anything is wrong with the rooms, she overlooks it and does not report it. The bathroom of the first room I was given was covered with black mold. The clerk had no idea of this condition. After this experience I can understand why people pay the extra for the higher end hotels. I've decided to pay the extra and not subject myself to this type of abuse.

The hotel was pretty cool, this is definitely a place to take kids. The pool was awesome, all of our kids love it 1yr-10yrs old. The breakfast was cool they all got to make waffles with cool toppings. The only down side was we brought our pup and was told one price 25$ per pet. When we check in it was $20 per pet per day. Get an email of the quoted price or the won't honor the price they told you over the phone.

Great breakfast that changes. Fun pool and slides the kids loved. Breeds were nice for a motel. Would stay here again.

Comfortable beds, nice rooms, Included breakfast was standard Choice hotel fair which is always good and includes hot eggs and sausage. Pool and water slides are fun and well maintained. A good hotel at a reasonable price.

The staff was amazing. The room had fully stocked everything, very clean, and the jet bath tub was so clean. I would stay here again, first choice.

The location of the Comfort Suites was a little diffcult to find because it was hidden behind other buildings. The rooms were decent and fairly clean. Service was good. The pool was really small but the two water slides were fast and fun.

This hotel is the best deal in Minot! Very clean and up to date, family friendly, 2 water slides, great breakfast, welcomes pets; nice pet walking area, very nice rooms and fantastic customer service. Never a problem when coming here! Negative — no complmentry 1x use toothbrush if you forget yours and out of make up remover wipes. This becomes an expensive trip to the hotel convenience shop. Makeup remover wipes is a great thing for hotels to offer, for it saves the life of their wash clothes!

Very good hotel at a good price. Room was spacious — kitchenette with full-sized fridge. Pool was quite nice and has two water-slides that were being thoroughly enjoyed by kids and adults. Very easy access to major highways but road noise was not an issue. Only negative, breakfast was overrun by rambunctious kids — but what do you expect if you have a pool with two water-slides?

Don't stay here*** — lacked customer service — pool NOT cleaned properly — lack of staff experience — do not disturb sign ignored — careless maids — not family friendly — not pet friendly This was hands down the worst experience we have had at a hotel. Our family travels a lot sometimes for months at a time. Our issues included: the pool being pooped in and not cleaned, the maids went through our belongings and spilt mouth wash all over our clothing, the management (formerly there was a different general manager but it is now run by owners) had staff ignore do not disturb sign and woke our children. We also found there were several new employees who lacked know how. And then employees with experience overall seemed jaded. We dealt with one employee who had both experience and a good personality. So much more goes into this story but instead of spending my time going through each detail know that I would never recommend anyone stay at this hotel and feel it should absolutely be avoided. There are several hotel options in Minot. We were pleased to switch (despite the time it took) bc the rest of our stay in Minot was wonderful. The Sleep Inn (also a Choice Hotel) was superior in every literally every aspect.

Very nice rooms. Lovely pool and waterslides. My only complaint would be that the beds are a little hard, but some people like hard beds! We will be back here.

It's a family friendly place. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Keeps me coming back.

The facilities were good. Kids loved the waterslides. The front desk staff were wonderful.

Rooms are big and really clean. Pool is great for kids. Staff are very helpful rooms have a small fridge and microwave. Wifi is good everywhere. Breakfast has a lot of choices. I would definitely come back again.

The front desk staff was wonderful. The hotel has an awesome pool with two water slides and other great features such as not one but two elevators. Our room was on the third floor and was very nice. It was quite noisy overnight but that is expected for a Friday night. Would definitely recommend.

Guest service is terrible! Especially the night audit! The fat one with black hair to be exact, she really should be fired by how she treats the guests! Other than that some things are fine some are not.

The rooms were very big and clean, the stay was very comfortable, the pool and slides were a welcome addition, and the breakfast was very good for a free hotel breakfast (biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, waffles, etc. ). It's a comfy and affordable stay for a night during a road trip, or for others, visiting the state fair.

The pool was fantastic and so is the customer service. The breakfast was delightfully good.

I am only giving it 5 stars so everyone can read my review. It is a nice hotel but customer service is horrible. We booked a room on the website, it didn't give us the option to pick the day. We couldn't change our date, nor cancel and they still charged us 120$ even though we weren't there.

The rooms were great. There was a large seating area with a big couch & footstools, a fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer & safe. The cost was very reasonable.

Arrived at the 3 pm check in time with 5 kids in tow only to be told not 1 but both of the 2 rooms we had booked were still unclean and they didn't know how long until they were going to be ready. Only option given by the rude front desk gentleman was that we could split up and move floors. No compensation offered for the wait or inconvenience. Considering we specifically had asked when booking to be close together because of the kids, I opted to wait. Half our later we finally got into our first room (the other wasn't done yet). Oh yes, and they had given away one of our original rooms so now we were split up. Rooms are nice and large but cleaning is touch and go. Swimming area looked promising but only served to provide our group either with injuries from the rough, too shallow, pool bottom, the slides with gaps and sharp edges, or burning eyes and throats from the intense chemicals in the whole area especially the hot tub. The coughing we experienced and witnessed in others in the swim area was terrible, and we had to leave the area to get fresh air. We are literally still feeling the effects of the chemicals in our eyes and throats today. Front desk people seem totally unphased by reports of cuts resulting from the slides and pool and simply hand out bandaids. If you need a decent room for a night or two then fine. But whatever you do, don't subject yourselves or your children to that swim area. And don't expect to receive the room you were expecting.

I have stayed and been very impressed at times. Upon my current stay, my room had been half ass cleaned. Rotten food in the refrigerator, the smell unbearable. When I took the issue to the front dest, I was told to write the problem down… then a maintenence man was sent up to clean the refrigerator. I was left in this smelly room. Counters look to be wiped with dirty water… not impressed. I won't be bringing my business here again.
