We traveled 4.5 hours to stay at this specific hotel for the water park. No where is it stated about their pool capacity cap. Nor is acceptable to have 10 guests in line and then staff to allow people from the back of the line in first while people have been waiting 30 minutes plus. You won’t allow parents who are fully clothed to sit within the gates to watch their child swim, you have NO lifeguard on duty. How can we protect our children when we’re not even allowed in I understand the circumstances going on in the world but as a hotel it’s your duty to let your customers know ahead of time, your conditions.

We had a bad experience on friday, went to have our breakfast at 7 am which was held at the lounge. So we ordered and asked for salt and pepper too 3 different persons and Tabasco sauce, well no one ever brought the condiments so I got up to get some from a tray that was on the side since we already had our food and when I was going to sit down the waiter that took our order just came up and threw the Tabasco sauce on our table and went and grabbed the two trays that had the condiments and threw them in the trash. We felt that if he was worried that I had this chicken virus, well all 3 persons that helped us were not wearing gloves or a mask so how do we know if they weren't sick. So, we just got up and went back to our room. Then, since we didn't have breakfast, we wanted some coffee and the machine we had in our room wasn't working so we went to tell the front desk if they can please exchange the coffee maker and the young gentleman responded, when he had time he would take us one. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very bad service!

The folks here at Holiday Inn Fargo are simply AMAZING! All of them have been so nice. The lady at the bar is a blessing for any company to have employed. She rides a motorcycle! Cool. People at front counter are so pleasant and sweet. We have truly enjoyed our stay here while our truck had repairs. Almost as great as a home time. Relaxed and refreshed.

Attended a wedding and stayed the night. The staff service at the reception was fantastic. Signs to restrooms near the conference rooms would have been helpful. Casino area was a nice option. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool area is great for kids… it is like a tiny amusement park.

I showed up at 3pm to check in. I was told that the room I reserved wasn't available because it wasn't cleaned yet, understandable. The gal at the front desk wrote down my info and said she would call when my room was available. 3 HOURS later and no call I decided to drive back to the hotel as I'm frustrated. A different front desk gal tells me that my room is ready, apologizes for delay and gives me two free drink tickets. Unfortunately that did my wife and I no good because we had our 3 year old son with and the main reason for staying at the hotel was so he could swim. The pool area was nice and it was great they had life vests for the kids to use. The pool was busy hence why we were trying to check in at 3pm so we could get in before everyone else. The king bed was firm and I found this very uncomfortable. Room service was good and the food tasted good. The price was high for what you get in our opinion. Overall the room was nice and pool area is lots of fun for kids but I wouldn't stay here again. Not satisfied with the overall experience.

My family went to the restaurant at Holiday Inn for lunch. The buffet was stocked with amazing food at a very reasonable price. The service was top notch and dessert was delicious! I tried several, including strawberry rhubarb pie, my favorite. We will be back soon!

Rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. Staff is professional and lobby looks fancy. The hotel has plenty to do such as a pool, bar, and restraunt inside. The location is great, as many useful locations are close by for shopping and eating. The only negatives I found were that the water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but it got the job done and the hotel was slightly confusing to navigate at finding the rooms. Overall, it's a nice hotel and I would recommend it.

What can I say about this hotel everything is right on and over-the-top excellent… Very professional and I am here quite a bit now working for a local trucking company the staff the amenities the accommodations everything is the bomb and so comfortable the house staff the managers and everyone at the front desk is absolutely right on… As a little gal I nicknamed Strawberry Shortcake she is full of life and she is so professional and Ethan he's right on the money helpful and they look forward to seeing their regular guests when they come in and stay a couple of days Ryan is one of the managers at the front desk spine on as they are all spot on best place being away from home is being here at this Holiday Inn in Fargo… I can honestly say the staff here makes you feel like you're home and welcome… Thanks again guys for making my experience here at Holiday Inn Fargo North Dakota something that I will always remember and continue to whenever I'm at Magnum transport thanks again.

I booked directly & had a great experience just booking. Check in was easy & great. The only "bad" experience was eating there. We ate in the restaurant & it took forever to get our food I ordered a hot beef sandwich the sandwich part was cold & the mashed potatoes burned my mouth! We had a spectacular server who really tried to make it right. The next night we attended a banquet & my steak was so dry I choked on every bite! Finally the next day I tried chicken strips & they were fabulous. From then on that's all I ate!
The hotel staff was friendly, kind & courteous. The servers Amanda & Ashlee were so good to us. Alexis at the front desk was excellent… & DesaRae & Frank who assisted us with reservations did a great job.
Would I recommend thus hotel? Yes… maybe Not the restaurant.

They treat you like a valuable customer by remembering your name and what your preferences are. They offer free appetizers at happy hour that are very tasty. Their prices are very reasonable also!

We're here now. Just checked in and made our way to the room. The kids are already changed and in the pool. We are so thankful to just be out of the truck. Now we are going to order food and chill by the pool. Maybe a drink or two before dinner. Check in was smooth and we anticipate a great time here.

Had lunch at the Holiday Inn today and ordered the Steak Salad. It was fantastic. The portion size was large and the amount of steak was perfect. I loved the dressing and the greens were in good shape. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful since the remodel and our server, Al, was attentive and endearing.

Had a great time at a social event! It was clean, welcoming, updated and staff was very friendly! Bar also had a great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun place to go.

Efficient in handling the large crowd. Our table for 10 was waiting for us. Waitress very efficient in handling our drink orders and caring for the table. Food efficiently prepared. But was disappointed in very few assortments of the main course. Pricing for this menu totally overpriced. Will not return to this type of menu.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! Very neat and organized. Sheets were nice and clean when we got there. One of the nicest stays I've experienced. Not to mention the pool is great for families.

We had a pretty bad experience. We had planned a girls weekend with my friend and our two daughters. We asked for an early check-in at the time we booked the room. Normal check-in is at 3:00, and we were hoping for 1:00 at the latest. I called at 1:00 and was told the room was not ready so call back at 2. I called at 2:00 and was told the room was not ready. I reminded the front desk we asked for an early check in and affirmed regular check-in was at 3. They agreed. We got to the motel at 3:30 assuming our room must be ready since check-in was at 3:00. Our room was still not ready. The front desk decreased our price from $230 to $150 and said to come back in a half hour and gave us our pool passes. We had all of our bags plus both of our 3 year old daughters at this time. We ended up putting all of our luggage by the pool. At 4:00 I came back, room still not ready, at 5:00 came back, room still not ready and front desk decreased the price to $100. At 5:30 I finally received a phone call our room was ready. We tried ordering pizza right away and asked for it to be delivered to our room. The staff said there was no way to deliver it we must pick it up from the restaurant or we could call the poolside cafe and order it there and pick it up there. They couldn’t transfer my call or go out of their way in any way to help. When we were checking out my daughter played a game where you put in $5 and get three toys. It only spit out two toys. We had all of our bags with us.

I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times. Front desk staff are very helpful and I have never had a significant issue. Friendly staff. Good restaurant for those unwilling to trek elsewhere. Coffee shop for the caffeine impaired. Easily located off of I29 one exit from I94. Mall and restaurants conveniently nearby.

First off, the room was nice and place was clean. Now, comes the bad part. Upon check in, we had a very rude guest services member that wanted to charge us an extra fee for incidentals. If this was disclosed in our reservation, it would be been NO problem, however it was NOT disclosed, ever in any of the emails from holiday or IGH. After getting it sorted, after close to an hour, we ended up having a good weekend, only to get charged TWICE! Dispute is going through our bank and the bank said this hotel is known for this issue. Watch your bank statements!

Location is great, right by the mall and the highway. They extended the bar area and there's lots of room now! And they still have bands every weekend which is great :) also awesome service!

The location is very easy to get to from the highway. It's conveniently located near West Acre mall and they have a shuttle that will drop you off at various establishments around the area. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying there when in town.

The staff is super friendly. The drinks always come out amazing and tastes very good. The food always comes out hot and taste delicious. We come here quite frequently because of how awesome both the service and the food are. I would highly recommend coming here.

Poorest service I have ever seen. My daughter and family reserved a poolside room on Dec. 29 with a 3 pm check-in for a fun night with the kids. After trying 4 times to check in they finally got a room at 6 pm. They had to settle for 2nd floor poolside because their room was still not ready. The only compensation they would give them was 2 pizzas. My thinking is that if someone as to pay $200 for one night and has to sit 3 hrs in the parking lot waiting for their reserved room to get cleaned, there should be better compensation and an APOLOGY! One star is too high for this place. Save your money and go somewhere else!

The rooms were great! The game room area was nice. The hotel has everything you need such as a coffee shop and a pizza place. The pool was disappointing. The water was very cold. Even the kids who can usually tolerate the colder water didn’t want to be in the cold pool. The hot tub was overflowing with people because no one wanted to be in the cold pool. I asked a person working, and he said it felt about normal to him, but did say he would talk to maintenance.

Over all it was great. Only reason I gave it a 4. Was because when I ordered my orange juice there was lipstick prints on the rim of my glass. Otherwise rooms were clean beds were comfy sheets were bleach white. First day we got there pool area was cold second day warmed up significantly. One of the rooms we had rented was told to have a microwave but did not. Also if you are trying to take a hot shower make sure you turn it all the way to the cold the wiring is backwards.

Rooms were great & prices reasonable! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the pool area could use some cleaning. But I do appreciate they provided life jackets for the kids & a place for beverages/snacks.

Check in is was supposed to be at 3. Arrived at 4, waited in line for 30+ minutes and there were no rooms available — they were still being cleaned. Rooms were very nicely updated and clean. We went for the shipwreck Bay pool area and my boys had a blast. It was crowded, with what seemed to be a large amount of unsupervised children, but we still had a fun time. We would definitely return.

Have not stayed here. We have visited bar/lounge several times as they have a small casino set up. The wife loves to play blackjack. We have also enjoyed a couple evenings when they had live music. Bar staff is a little slow. Seems more the fault of what appears to be a complicated computer billing system.

Nice hotel, standard rooms and amenities. Great pool with shallow kid pool for the younger children. One major design issue is the hot tub is completely opposite from the kid pool. This makes it impossible for parents to supervise from the hot tub while relaxing. You can't even see the kid pool as the pirate ship decor is completely blocking the view. Blame the architect or design team for that, not the hotel's fault. Another thing to note is the air handling in the pool area is sub par. If it's a busy day, expect the temperatures and humidity to be unbearably high in that area. Drink lots of water to prevent heat issues in the kids.

Over priced, no free breakfast and loud halls. We stay at best western Kelly inn for $30 cheaper and get free breakfast as well as free manager meal at 5 pm.

We had a pool side so our daughter could swim. She loved it and so did we. Pool was clean and has lots of pool towels. Lots of places to sit and room for parents to watch their kids. Our room was clean and very nice. We ordered food from the restaurant and it was very good. Our only complaint was the pool water was a little cool for our liking… there was lots of kids warming up in the hoy tub!

The hotel is right off the main highway, very easy to find. Front desk people were very friendly & helpful. Rooms were clean & newly remodeled. The pool area was great for the kids. Would definitely book again.

So many good things about our stay I am not sure where to start. We had reserved a block of rooms for my daughters wedding so we had a large group staying. The pool area was perfect for spending time together, lots of room even when birthday parties were being hosted. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and good sized. The weekend evening pool side bartender whose name I forgot was amazing. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Very clean, lots of staff around picking up in the pool area after messy people. Right across the street from the mall and right off the interstate so easy to get to and nice location. Rooms were really neat and tidy looking. I couldn't get my two year old out of the pool she loved it so much!

The rooms and service are nice, the staff especially. Always willing to help and make sure your experience is great. However the rooms are small by the pool. They seem almost smaller than a normal room. The pool is open till 11, which makes staying in a poolside room difficult to sleep before 11. Everything else is nice and very clean in this hotel.

Fantastic hotel! My fiance and I stayed here for a staycation getaway. Our room was safe, large, clean, and updated. Both the check in and check out were quick and easy, and the location of the hotel is perfect! There's a small casino in the bar area, and The Box Bar & Casino (highly recommended, fun vibe! ) and the mall were within walking distance. The pool area was fantastic, the pool water was very warm and the hot tub was clean and comfortable. My fiance and I don't have kids (yet), and we still found the pool are to be really fun. Overall, this was a great place to stay, we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful hotel to stay in! It was very busy when we arrived, but staff was quick and friendly. We were offered cookies and water while we waited. Once we got to the counter, we were given a free upgrade. Score! It is a large hotel, so we had to drive to the other end of the building to access a door that led to the elevators, but that's expected with a building that size. It has a pool and a bar/lounge area. Very nice interior. Highly recommended if you are in the Fargo area!

Nice place if you have young kids, pool area is not for adults. Food isn't great, rooms are nice, refrigerator and microwave included. Plenty of parking, centrally located to everything. Beds and pillows need some work, wasn't the best nights rest but not the worst either. Staff was friendly and courteous.

This place is great for kids. The pool is a huge playground for young kids. With a big ship in the middle and lots of other things they will be entertained for a long time. There is a small bar next to the pool for parents to sit, relax and watch their kids. The restaurant has decent food. My breakfast was served hot and quick. The staff was very friendly. The room was basic. There is nothing exciting about it but the only negative about it is the amount of time it took for the shower to turn hot. I took a shower at 330 pm and it took a good 5 or six minutes for any heat to make it to me.

Excellent pool that was plenty warm for the little ones. Room was adequate but the TV options could be improved. Staff were courteous and professional. Restaurant was delicious and the staff didn't disappoint. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

No parking! Dirty bedding, no microwaves in room, drug addict construction workers, breakfast buffet don't start till 830, everything on it was cold, sausage wasn't fully cooked, waiter was pushy about drinks, we have stayed here for 3 years for the monster trucks and it's always a disappointment way over priced. This will be the last we ever do business with a Holiday Inn! Ridiculous!

Nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. House keeping works most of the day and they tend to be in the way sometimes. But overall, really nice hotel.

The layout was slightly confusing, but after looking at a nap I was able to find the banquet hall I needed. Overall a good experience, food is a 3/5. Too sweet, even the sauce on the chicken.

The room was nice, the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in! The Waterpark was fun for the kids and the banquet was great. Plus the kids ate free all weekend in the hotel!

The service was good and the restaurant was good and appearance was good. I was just disappointed in the price. I was not apart of a convention or group so I was charged a lot. Overall a nice stay.

The hotel itself was average for it's kind, nothing standout but the pool/waterpark which was overcrowded the day we stayed. As a parent of little ones, I did not appreciate how the splash park's main structure, an up raised pirateship had multiple exits into both the kiddie water depth pool (around 1.5 feet) and the deeper pool (around 4 feet). Life jackets are provided but with toddlers you need to be at the bottom of the water slide to right them when they plunge in. However, at the bottom of the slides you cannot see into most of the kiddie pool area to observe what mischief your little ones may be doing whilst you are waiting at the bottom of the waterslides. I have experienced safer kiddie pool set ups which make the hotel stay more relaxing. Our coffeemaker had an old, still damp coffee bag in it. And to our chagrin the "breakfast available" on the booking site we used did not mean free continental breakfast but rather a restaurant and coffee shop are available. On a budget when we travel, we did not find the prices budget friendly. Overall, we were dissatisfied with our stay, though part of the negative experience was our fault for not researching indepth the hotel amenities.
