Very beautiful hotel with a gorgeous view. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others and I will most definitely stay again.

It's the nicest place I have ever stayed very clean and quiet it's like a resort.

My family planned a last minute trip to Yellowstone. We stayed at the Cody for 3 nights due to last minute changes on our vacation. We had 3 adults and 5 children. The minute we walked in we were greeted by an amazing staff VERY friendly they got us the best room for our families needs. The Hotel is beautiful, peaceful and has a wonderful view in the pool area of the mountains. Although Covid is going on they did not let that damp our stay. Hotel was always well kept and they made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot compliment this hotels entire staff from the cleaning people, Maintenance guys and especially front desk! Thank you all for everything.

We have stayed for a few night and the staff has been great and careful with all that's going on very clean rooms and spacious would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cody! Demedy was incredibly hospitable from booking through the end of our stay. We stayed during the Covid crisis which is a stressful time for everyone, but that didn’t stop the staff at The Cody from trying to make it the best stay possible. They are waiting four days between guests to put someone else in that room, so the king room we requested was unavailable. So rather than put us in a queen room, they upgraded us to a corner, top-floor deluxe king room with a beautiful mountain view. It was clean and the bed was like sleeping in a cloud! I couldn’t recommend it more!

The staff at the front desk in the morning were very rude and attempted to steal my personal information. Do not reccomend.

We rented a room to celebrate my daughter in-law’s birthday, the customer service was absolutely bar none! I highly recommend THE CODY.

Kenny and the entire staff are amazing. They were always so helpful and had great suggestions on things to do and see. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Cody then look no farther!

Made reservations last November with 2 other couples to get rooms together. When we arrived 2 couples on one floor. We were on the other floor. The man at the desk not very pleasant or didnt even act like he cared. Not very good customer service.

The best hotel on our tour so far. Opulent western style hotel with high quality rooms, facilities and very helpful staff. Almost sorry to have to move on.

This is the best hotel in Cody. The staff is amazing and will go above and beyond! We have stayed here twice and will never stay anywhere else. 5 stars in my book!

We stayed at The Cody for 2 nights right before Christmas. There were not a lot of us there and the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. We loved the hotel and the atmosphere. We would stay at The Cody again if we were back in the area. It was our favorite place during our 2 week travel. Thank you!

The staff was awesome, we stayed there when visiting my son and had an awesome family time. They made it a great place for a family birthday, and the rooms were very comfortable for us and the dogs.

This hotel was beautiful. My husband and I recently stayed three nights here recently. We enjoyed the beautiful fire place and furnishings in the lobby. The piano music and refreshments were great. We had our picture taken in the lobby with the fireplace as the background for our Christmas card. We truly enjoyed our stay and Meghan the desk clerk was wonderful to talk with.

Very nice and clean. Made you feel as though you were in a cabin setting more than a hotel. Breakfast could have been better and there was no fresh coffee at breakfast.

Pet-friendly on the first floor. Rooms are a nice size and are well maintained. A but pricey for the area — the only reason I didn't give it 5.

Stayed here for two day. I wish it was still nearer to East entrance. But overall it was great place to stay. Enjoyed 2 days of stay here!

Pool is 24/7, breakfast is amazing, and they have fresh, local coffee for you all the time! Very clean rooms and very helpful staff! They also have a shuttle to go into town if you don’t want to drive. Highly recommended for your trips out there!

This is a fine hotel. Great property, great staff… amazing linens. This hotel feels like one of the grand old hotels in a capital city. Gracious accomodating staff, well appointed rooms, understated elegant common areas. The hotel seems to cater to European tour groups. I have seen British and Italian/French groups. Breakfast comes with the room… which appeals to these groups… that being said this is the one area that is lacking. The breakfast is about what you would get at the average Courtyard hotel. They could do far better.

Nice location on the edge of town with plenty of parking. A nice fancy Lobby to hang out in if you wanted to The rooms had plenty of space and beds were nice to sleep in.

Our dogs are having to sleep in our car tonight because we were told dogs were allowed but not told until 10 pm at night when we checked in that there were no pet rooms left and that we would be kicked out if we brought them to our 2nd floor room. Quite the bind to be in when all of town is virtually booked. If someone calls in and asks if pets are allowed, the employee should at least have the common sense to say, "We have some dog friendly rooms, let's make sure there is one available … when are you staying with us? " All I was asked was if my pet waa a dog and after confirming that, all he said was "Yes, we allow dogs. "

The Cody Hotel is a mid-size hotel which I like because it is not so large and thus too commercialized and not too small that does not have enought amenities. Front desk staff is professional and accommodating. My room is perfectly clean and has a warm, western style, and a few minor but useful amenities which are not commonly seen at other 3-star hotels. Complementary breakfeast is exceptionnally clean, organized, and delicious, especially the fresh yogurt and waffles. Laundry room is large and well kept with all the necessary amenities. Business room is more than double the size of all business rooms that I have seen at other hotels. And last but not least, the Cody Hotel also offer a selection of DVD to hotel guests to enjoy.

I gave this hotel a 5 star rating simply because I have stayed there many times and had great experiences until now. I don’t want to affect this hotels rating over one bad review. This hotel has great rooms, especially the suites. Very comfortable king beds, jetted tubs that fit two, a large shower, and kitchenette area. We always request room 126 or similar due it being pet friendly and on the first floor with its own private door to the outside of the hotel. It is nice to be able to walk the dog without walking through the public portions of the hotel. I specifically remember my wife making the reservation while I was driving through Rock Springs Wyoming. The reservation was made in late January. We arrived March 16th around 6:00 p. M. At the unmanned front desk. There was a phone on the desk that said push button for service. We push the button to get greeted by a lady with food hanging out of her mouth. After we wait for her to be able to talk legibly we told her our name for our reservation. She was not able find our reservation. From here forward, Rochelle (queen tattoo on arm) was just rude. She acted as if there was no possible way that any portion of the lost reservation was any fault but our own. We explained that we thought the rate was around $169 and the person we talked to was Andrew. She then argued and said they have never had an Andrew work for them and that she had worked there for several years. She quoted a rate of $179.

Amazing staff and facility! Can't ask for a better home away from home.

It is good place to rest for the night. The beds are comfortable and clean. The water pressure is high. The lobby is inviting and relaxing.

We usually won't stay in a hotel that isn't failiar to us. However, we loomed at the reviews which were favorable and took a chance. The hotel itself is beautiful. Old photographs and prints are scattered throughout the building and in the rooms. The room was roomy and comfortable and the service by the front desk and breakfast room were exceptional. We brought out two small dogs with us and they were welcomed with dog treats. No noise at all, very peaceful. I would highly recommend this place.

It said online the allow pets but we called before leaving our house to make sure. Asked "Do you allow pets? " Their answer "Yes. " Drive for hours and go in, ask for a room for myself, my wife, our youngest son, and our cat. They turned us away saying they only allow dogs because the woman working there didn't like cats. Hope there's an actual reason we had to change our plans last second after traveling all day but regardless, I feel like they should have mentioned that they only allow dogs when we called to ask them that in first place.

My name is Cody, how could I not love it? But seriously, this hotel is awesome, a pool and jacuzzi that are actually nice, a decent sauna and weight room, most rooms have balconys, and the breakfast is better than hotels at the same price. Just a touch more upscale than chain hotels like holiday inn and best western.

Spencer is a great waiter, friendly and attentive. Food is great too.

Wonderful hotel! Breakfast is delicious, the rooms are amazing, and the other amenities are great. The pool/hot tub is open 24 hours, which you don't usually see in a hotel! Super convenient for a late night soak. Every room has a balcony, which is an added plus.

The best breakfast we've had so far on the road from Yellowstone to Mount Rushmore. Very cozy atmosphere and nice rooms.

Nice staff. We had a great room for our one night stay except for the fact that we booked a beautiful king room with a fireplace and a jacuzzi and there were small hairs in the tub! Being the neat freak I am I had to bring in stuff to cover the couches and bedding being I thought then the room wasn't clean enough and it was there last one for the night. I didn't want to complain bc I was afraid they thought we were loooking for a discount plus I knew there wasn't anywhere else to move us to. We were trying to check in to a hotel on our wedding trip from FL to WA so we could check in with family back home to make sure they were safe.

Very nice hotel. Our girls loved the cookies upon arrival. Clean rooms, great decor. Would recommend for sure.

It may not be suitable to some, but it's my kind of place, laid back and fresh air. The scenic drive and the wilderness is such a gift to us as tourists. I ❤️It so much.
Don't forget the steak restaurants.!

Nice, clean hotel but no better than Holiday Inn Express or Country Inn that would have been less than half the price.

Price was great and the rooms were better than expected of the price. Slept really comfortably. Service was good, so was the breakfast. Nothing amazing but more than enough for the price! Will be coming again soon. Thanks for the deal whomever was working the night shift on Wednesday 16th Aug round 1 am.

Great place to stay. Great service, beautiful rooms and a cozy warm feel. Outdoor fireplace is a nice place to relax in evenings.

Very upscale but comfortable hotel, the bottom floor accommodates families with pets! FREE breakfast. There was a fireplace outside surrounded by a creek and pines. We absolutely loved it. Worth every penny!

Clean. Pool, hot tub, sauna. We used the conference room. It was a standard conference room. The rooms were great, even a phone next to the toilet in case your legs fall asleep and you needed to order room service. Staff was very polite and professional. Breakfast was average.

Amazing atmosphere and staff. I loved the feel of the place. The lobby is a great place to visit and relax. I have never just sat in a lobby before. It also had books to read and two computers. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are available 24 hours and they are pet friendly. I loved the rooms. They were clean with refrigerator and microwave. The best thing is, they had q-tips and cotton balls never seen that in a hotel before. I loved our stay.

Worth every penny to stay here! They went above and beyond to meet our needs and let us relax. Randy, at the front desk, was especially knowledgable and friendly and offered to make our dinner reservations for us in town. Kenny, the shuttle van driver, was a hoot but also a great convenience when dining out and having no care in the world about getting home. After spending all day in Yellowstone, coming back to the hotel to find fresh baked cookies and a warm sauna was heaven. To top it off, the "continental" breakfast was a full on buffet; so satisfying! Hands down will never let our friends and family stay anywhere else but here! Thanks for making that part of our trip worth it!

Overall, I really enjoyed this hotel. Nice staff. The cleaning staff in particular were great, and the room was clean as can be. The room itself was AWESOME. Huge, high ceiling, wonderful shower, great bathroom, fantastically large and comfy bed. Loved it loved it. Now, the not as good stuff. The rooms themselves have holes in them due to the construction. Showing it's age? They are pseudo log cabin-like, and that type of construction does require maintenance. With the lights off, you can see light holes. That's fine and will not hurt you (although their heating/cooling bill must be murder with the holes and high ceilings), however, it lets bugs in. We had an earwig in the bathroom. There was a spider right by the bed. It's not terrible by any means, and it's not as if the room was filled with bugs or anything, but there were bugs. (Again, though, room was totally clean. ) The position of our room was kind of crappy. To one side, we had the busy main road of the town. On the other side, we had the hotel parking lot and office. Both sides were noisy. Neither were private. Even with the windows closed, blinds drawn, it was noisy. Not ideal. Cody is also named after Bill Cody (Buffalo Bill), a man who killed thousands of buffalo and is somehow famous for it. The town itself is cowboy-driven (rodeos). It is a nightmare if you don't like rodeos and don't eat beef. Sorry, but we are staying here because it was the cheapest we could find.

I booked a room here over the phone while in Cody. Two hours later I got a call about the flooding in Houston, my home town, and it was necessary that I start back to Houston immediately. I called to cancel this reservation and was told that I would not be charged for the room. That was not the case. I credit card was charged for the full price. It says a lot about the business when they will not honor their promise not to charge, not to mention the fact they have no sympathy for a situation completely out of my control. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Excellent place to stay in Cody. The cabin was clean, equipped with a fridge, and quiet. Very well priced, and the staff are very pleasant and welcoming.

Excellent little cabins with great log cabin decor. Very comfortable beds and clean rooms. Prices are good and they are pet friendly with no pet fees. The staff was very nice. There is a 35 person hot tub with waterfall feature that is awesome.

Fun place to stay. It was so nice to sit on the porch and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast didn't work for me because there were no gluten free options.

Spent 3 days. Nice to have a small cabin to yourself and get out of the motel rooms for a while. Close to many attractions. Including the rodeo.

Enjoyed my stay. Room was cozy and clean. Continental breakfast was good, and had free Wi-Fi. Slept better than I do in my own bed.

Stayed here on a recommendation and found it to be all they said it would be. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the cabins are spacious, modern, and immaculate. The beds are the most comfortable you'll find anywhere. It is close to good food, gas and other attractions and has Wi-Fi. I would highly recommend the Cowboy Village to anyone.

This place wad a fantastic find! My boyfriend and I travelled from MN to ID and back — we planned to tent but ran into rain/snow and scrambled to find an affordable place to stay in Cody. We came across the Cowboy Village and it was wonderful! The cabin was cute, cleaner than my own home, had an amazing king bed and great rainfall shower. PLUS because we rolled in late and unexpectedly we were placed next to a wedding party going on that evening. The owner showed up just to give us a heads up and apologize for any disturbance. Breakfast in the morning included your basics but also biscuits and gravy so my bf was ecstatic. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.
