Very nice, clean and cozy motel. Large, comfortable bed. Shower was warm and spacious. I love the table and chairs in the room, along with the Keurig, microwave and mini fridge. Also a nice walk in closet if you have an extended stay! Close to town. Friendly staff!

This place is awesome! We will definitely be back! The owners are amazing, and with it being a holiday season, have gone out of their way to accommodate us! We had some truck issues on the way up, and the husband is working to help get us fit into a repair shop the day after Christmas, and we had a bit of a snowmobile accident that lead to a ER trip, and she was just so kind to follow up with us! Rooms are comfortable and clean, we will be back way more for snowmobile weekends and also this summer so explore when the ground isn’t frozen! Right off a main snowmobile trail, lots to go from here. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

It is quiet and has great hospitality. It is cute and quaint and not your normal. It is a great place to go and step away to relax and enjoy. If I ever come back up I will stay here. Give them a try call direct and they will help you with anything they can. Always remember call ahead to confirm your reservation or to cancel.

Nothing fancy, but it does have Wi-Fi and a/c and will get you through the night in a clean, comfortable, and affordable room. Didn't feel run down at all and the water was great as an added bonus. Would recommend to anyone on a budget or to people who only plan on being in their room to sleep at night.

This motel was very clean. The staff was so helpful and considerate, something you don't see anymore in my opinion. Stephanie, which runs the front desk knew all about the attractions, local restaurants and the falls in the area. Just an amazing place to stay I will go back. There may not be a pool and a game room but lets face it you are there to see what is in the area so it's perfect the whole family interacts as a family!

Amazing little motel that took me back in time. This is a nostalgic classic place to stay. A perfect break from the stuffy hotel stays that are usually more expensive. This place was more affordable, clean and quiet. The only true draw back was the number of guests that were smokers that stayed the night we stayed. It seemed like every guest was smoking outside their unit. We sat in the grassy area in front of the hotel and watched for shooting stars and found that to be quite enjoyable. Great place to hang for the night.

I give this place five stars — Truthfully! From the nice clean rooms, they are spacious and the bed was so comfortable, I have a hard time usually sleeping on any bed when traveling, cause I have a bad back, with this bed I was so comfortable… and my back didn’t hurt at all. This is a win-win motel and the owner is very very nice! Thanks again Alger falls motel!

The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The cabins are awesome. We used to rent the small one for a week every year for snowmobiling. The owners are very nice people.

Well kept property, lots of extras that are convenient for people, some charged, some not.

My husband and I had a great stay here. Stephanie and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, on site laundry, and pool table! Not even a 5 min drive to downtown Muinsing puts you close to all the sites. Affordable and dog friendly. We will definitely come back again.

This motel was in an ideal location. We stayed in the large cottage and it was clean and comfortable. The only negative qould be that the large cottage didn't really fit 7 adults, but other than that we had a great expierence for a really affordable price.

Very Clean! The owner was very accommodating. We pulled in at 9 p. M. She was there at the desk quickly to assist us.

Really nice motel. The sheets were changed ever night and everything was spotless when we came back from the rocks. Staff is really friendly too. If you gave a problem with the staff there must be something wrong with you.

Very clean smelling the first you walk in and sanitary tape on the toilet was a plus to know it was fully cleaned. We had a queen room and it had an updated HDMI tv. Not too far from town and Alger falls is right on the side of the road on the way into town. A little pricier for normal motel fees, but right on track with the fees for munising.

Reserved a room. Got there and the price we were charged $10 more then the reservation. Looked at the website from the room. And it was posted the price we were quoted. Went to the office for something. And the lady was on the phone. She told the person on the phone a different price for the same type of room. That price was different that what we were quoted and a price different then what was on the website. The stay was a rustic hotel room. Not the cabins they offer. Very basic setting for a room. But the staff was friendly.

Very good location, convenient to local attractions & down town. Cabins are nicely appointed, however, couch is very uncomfortable & needs to be replaced. Also time to resupply silverware, etc.

Pretty nice for the price. The smell was very clean and cleansing when I first walked in. I wish it was closer to town but that's okay. Free coffee in the morning with the Keurig coffee maker. The staff are friendly and informational. I would highly recommend this Motel. Oh and there is a HDMI 32 in TV in the room that I like.

I will still rate high even though I called and was told $85 a night, called back 5 mins later to reserve and was told $95 and then email confirmation said $115 which was fine, but they just need to pay attention to what they are telling customers. Very close, cute, convenient and quiet for what we needed. Would stay here again We did 5 waterfalls close by and then traveled to others the next day. Motel was right in the middle to stay here two nights.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Also, great prices. Stayed here about 8yrs ago so we thought we would stay again. Not disappointed, still the same great place.

Booked a room on the phone, was told the room was $65/night. When I showed up I was about to be bill $80/night. Ended up in the middle around $74/night. Room was freezing cold when we got in from a day of snowmobiling.
Other than that, nice place, clean and quiet. I'll stay again just hope I can get the heat turned on before we get there.

Great overnighter or a few days for two people. Clean, looks like it was recently remodeled. New bath floor, carpeting. Small refrigerator plus separate freezer. Microwave. Noisy in the day but fine at night.

Stayed in the little cabin for 4 nights, was a good home away from home.

We stayed in one of the cabins — two couples in a two bedroom — and it was clean, well appointed and comfortable. I would rate it as a reasonable value with the only negative marks given for the fact that there is only one bathroom (I know, it's a minor point for a family but for two couples…) and a very inflexible cancellation policy. We did not have to cancel but with a two week policy it is pretty inflexible. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful, and I could certainly book again here. Just make sure you don't have a change in plans!

Nice and clean motel. As far as roadside motels go this is definitely above average. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location for hiking the pictured rocks. The two cabins are very nice and well appointed but also right on the freeway. I still would have rented it but would have liked to know before doing so.

My husband and I stayed while in Munising visiting pictured rocks and all the beautiful falls around the area summer 2013. Our room was very clean, actually felt comfortable taking a bath. Very convienent location and the town is really cute with great local food. For the lower rate per night, you get a clean room, staff very friendly, and great location. Highly recommend and will book in the future.

Our room was cramped. There was an extra twin bed in the room that we didn't order, which took up the space of a table and extra chairs which we sure could have used. No towels racks in the bathroom which if in the interests of "green" living we wanted to reuse our towels we had no place to hang them up. The ice machine in the office was broken. The place was clean and the beds comfortable enough but spartan in accommodations. We did have responsive service to our requests. The rate was decent but you don't get any more, and maybe slightly less, than you pay for at this place. Family owned. Wish we could give a better review but the shortcomings were just too extreme.

My family and I decided to stay in Munising on the way back from Baraga State Park. We were sent here by The Terrace Hotel's Owner due to the unavailable beds he had. He made a Call and we were accommodated immediately with very friendly and informative Host. We will return to both hotels as well as recommend both to anyone.

We also stayed in the cabin that's separate from the rest of the motel and enjoyed it very much! Very clean, nice two bedrooms and a futon in the living area as well as expanded cable for when it rained. We had five adults for two nights there and had no problems. Came fully stocked with plates, silverware, coffee, everything we needed to not have to worry about our vacation. We also had pizza delivered to us from Main Street Pizza and were happy we could keep the left overs and heat them up later. This property was very conveniently located for us because we went and visited Munising Falls, downtown Munising, Pictured Rocks National Park and we took a boat tour as well. We would defintely stay there again and recommend the cabin to anyone.
