Pretty much a low life hotel. Hookers and welfare ppl stay here. Bad hotel all around and way, way over priced.

Giving this hotel 1 star, is simply too much. I WOULD NOT advise any one to stay here. I recently attempted to stay here because it was late and all other hotels in the area were booked. After going into the hotel room, witnessing the smell and the environment we decided we could not stay there. I then went to the receptionist and told her my concerns to which I was told "I do not blame you, I have worked here for __ months and have yet to walk into one of the rooms". Great, she refunded me our money=no issue and we were out within a half hour. After checking our credit card statement we saw the charge for the room, a refund for the room, and then a $228.89 charge. We had not received a phone call about being charged for ANYTHING for any reason so we called the hotel to ask what it was regarding. We were told that we stole the TV from the room, so we were being charged to replace it. Of course we told the manager, that we did not steal the TV and we would like our money back. He refused, told us they have had a problem with the TV being stolen from that same room in the past (this was our first time in the establishment). If this hotel had been having issues with theft previous to us coming there, measures should have been taken to avoid or monitor this. They should not be falsely accusing their guests. There was also a security guard monitoring the facility while we were there, who should have witness somebody taking the TV.

Don’t waste your time or money here. The rude and lazy front desk woman (not Sara) is just the start of your troubles.

You would sleep better in parking lot bed hard as concrete. Spent half the nite throwing homeless kids out through the cracks in the door.

Stayed here 17 weeks through winter. Great price, nice people. Had the best maid. Great location. Will miss it a little through summer as we go back to our rv. But we will be back in December as long as they keep their weekly rates as low as they are. :)

They support crack heads and you are not safe. Crack heads smoke in the rooms. Council Bluffs Iowa stay the hell away and they refuse to return your money. I want a petition started in the name of Dez Bryant to close it down. Every night is a different price. Loom at the door inside your room. They do not follow the laws of Iowa.

Great place to stay for the night. Cheap, a little run down but I can say it was clean and free of insects. Would stay there again.

This was my home for quite awhile. The ladies that check people in are cool. — 1 star because there's no shampoo or conditioner, also someone hit my car in the parking lot once.

Trash… absolute trash! From the owner, to the staff. To the trash rooms! … there was one girl there that was cool… but other than that… absolute trash! If I could I'd give — 5 star rating… any of those comments that are good… have to be from the staff. No one would give that place a good rating.

Clean place. Love the 'Mom & Pop' atmosphere. The Manager and team are Awesome!

Nice place to stay the night. Comes with microwave and mini fridge. Quiet area right next door to 24/7 gas stations and all night arby's. Rooms are clean and decent. The sink clogs up when you turn it on though. Other than that front desk is helpful and friendly. You can get some travel items at front desk for a fee. Pricing here is cheap starting at 45 a night. For the price and room quality it is a decent nights stay for short term.

The room was a very basic double occupancy w very few amenities. The TV set was extremely out dated, although it had a cable line hooked up it only received local digital air signal. The beds we're extremely firm, flat, and hard. Despite the lack of amenities it was for the most part quiet and peaceful. The office was curtious and helpful.

For the price it was amazing. Room was clean service was great. Would recommend this to anyone who has low per diems. Close to stores casinos and downtown omaha. Everything is just min away.

Great place to stay… we’ve stayed over 30 days with not one complaint! The staff is nice, friendly and professional. Rates are very reasonable and the area is Quiet! Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Planned on staying for 3 months for work here. After entering my room I noticed a bad old odor. I figured it was just an older place and I could just use lysol or a glade plug in. After being in the room a day I started noticing things. The ceiling in the bathroom was covered in stains from something leaking above. The bottom of the sink cabinet was all rotted out and molded. The exhaust fan when turned on made a horrible squeeling noise. Also when it was running it would draw the cigarette smoke out of the next room into my room… I don't know if it was through the vents or through the electrical outlets or what. Horrible! The bed was broken and leaning one way. I had to use the phone book to put under the leg to level the bed up. I talked to the neighbor a couple doors down who said several people had bed bugs there. I kept having cable issues. I had channels out on the TV for a couple days. Anytime I said something to the managment at the office they were rude as could be. I decided to check out a day early before my weekly rate payment was up. I found a much better place that was up kept with friendly service. On my way to check out I decided to stop at the office to explain what had been happening to me. When I started explaining it to the lady she pretty much called me a liar and was horribly rude! She didn't want to listen and didn't care. I took her picture to be able to show the owners who it was. Hopefully I will be able to reach them.

Two police cars parked outside for an hour or more. Good place for people watching — if you are behind a one way mirror.

Parking sucks. Pot holes everywhere. Too much noise at night, should have quiet time hours. Stained blankets with holes in them. Bed bugs, killed 4 of them, took pics of the bugs & bites all over my arms and ankles. Decent curb appeal but that's it, at least the paint job looks good. Pull the blankets back and it's not good. Been here many times and never had any issues, but this time I'm appalled. Really sad about this because I used to like the place. Time changes everything I guess.

Rooms and services were great, everything clean and working. Location might not be the most secure, but nothing bad happened happened to us or our car.

Another crappy motel, only reason I stopped here was the sign off the highway saying $45 a night, but was not the case, after taxes it was about $63. Room looked clean but nothing to rave about, my room lock messed up had to go to the office to get back in my room, the room was a smoking room, but it had cigarette burns on the counter and one in the blanket. The patching job that was done to multiple holes on the walls were done horrible, and it had almost no extra plug sockets, none by the bed to plug in my phone, also which I find off it had not alarm clock in the room. The saving grace this place, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, was the employees were nice, polite and professional.

The room was basic but comfortable very close to interstate two truck stops. You can order food for delivery by several restaurants. For the most part quite a value for money.

Isn't a bad place it's alot nicer than most places for the price I'm paying. The beds are a bit stiff honestly it's like sleeping on a board but otherwise it's not a bad place at all the management is nice always on top of stuff. Wish they had breakfast in the morning. And if anyone is outside and asks to help u tell them no most of them are just trying to see what they can take.

The beds were comfy, and it even had a little fridge, but the room was a bit small for four, plus the AC was a bit loud. But it was fine for an overnight stay.

Got a non smoking room but still smelled like smoke and to top it off the person next door also had a non smoking room and she was outside smoking. Water on toilet ran a long time. Shower never turned on. Most difficult shower ever. Management was horrible.

Maby my room is one of the nicer ones because i'm here now and its nice bedsides the old blankets and curtains its clean and roomy.

You pay for what you get… and for $58 I got exactly as I expected…

Very dirty rooms was ran very poorly should be shut down due to being out dated TV and furniture nothing was clean feces on wall of bathroom and not to mention wall heater without face just a disaster.

The room smelled of old cigarettes and the bedspread was paper thin. Bed was very uncomfortable. We both had headaches when we left. Don't stop here. Pay $10 extra dollars and go down the road.

Worst service ever. Its nothing but a drug and hooker invested place. The police were there several times. I did not sleep and management said you got what you paid for. Motel six down the street for a cleaner and better place.

Ok, I have been in motels and hotels around the same price I paid here $56 wknight. This is the worst experience ever. I cannot believe someone would leave a + feedback on the place or the stuff. Trashy place and trashy customer service, period. Motel 6 or Regency Lounge in Omaha for around the same price offer way more. Do some research before deciding on this stinky place.

The people who wrote some reviews obviously are use to staying at the freaking HILTON for $200.00 a night reality check people American Inn is $60.00 or less so lets get real ok this is a nice place for the price! You have a bed, shower, basic cable, Wi-Fi, a phone in your room what more do you want honestly the staff are super friendly and the people ive seen on the property our as well so stop complaining! I would def stay again.

I also have a hard time to leave the most negative review about this place. This is the nastiest and most horrible place I ever stayed at. It stunk inside as someone just left the room after smoking cheap cigarettes all night. The bed, which I cant even call a bed, was dirty, blanket with burn cigarette marks. I had to lay down in my clothes and cover with my own towel as I did not take a risk to do otherwise. The only reason I stayed there was that the room had a separate door in front of my parked car so I could carry my belongings in the car into the room and back in the morning. The neighborhood did not seem that you can safely leave your car full of stuff and go to a normal hotel. Also, I was exhausted after 28 hrs of driving and had another 28 left, so generally I did not have a power to look for another place. If you are reading this and if you ever plan your trip, this "motel" is something that you should stay away. If I had an option, I would not even let my dog to spend a night there.
