Was comfortable, walking distance to campus and thoughtful snacks-drinks onsite. Highly recommend.
Andrea was amazing and rescued my son & I very late evening from a stressful airbnb situation gone wrong (after a full day of driving with all his belongings packed in our vehicles) the day before he was moving into his new apartment! The place was packed, but she let us sleep in an add on room, until the next day, when we could move to a delightful full room… she & her husband kicked into full gear and got us settled in and I would love them just for that, but the whole place is so clean & thoughtfully appointed, it will forever be my home in Ames, when visiting my son! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 💕 Great location, all day snacks AND breakfast! Well lit/safe parking, lovely outdoor sitting spots, super clean/comfortable & quiet rooms, high end bathroom products & modern design/amenities in a historic building and a fun, attentive staff… all my favorite things!

The room we got was 100, it was located in the basement and it was disgusting, The paint on the walls was peeling and coming off, The room was filthy and smelled horrible and the bath tub was dirty with long black hairs all over in it. The bed was terrible clumpy and springs poking into the mattress. We left almost instantly and did not spend the night fearing we would get sick from the horrible smell. Terrible experience,
