I was lied to. When booking my room I was told that my kids would be able to swim in the pool and there would be a good breakfast complete with waffles. We arrived late and the pool was closed, but we were told that although the pool normally opened at noon, that the morning staff was flexible and would allow my kids to still get a swim in. Then in the morning, there were no waffles. We were told that corporate was phasing them out and replacing them with coffee and juice. But there was also no orange juice. And worst of all, the morning staff refused to allow our kids to swim. I was given a card to contact the owners of the hotel. But when I tried to call, both numbers just went to the same person at the lobby who had already refused to help us. On top of that, the internet doesn't even work in my room (109), so I'm sitting in the lobby writing this.

The owners painted a turd and it still stinks. Nasty mold in the bathroom.
Didn't look like the sheets had been changed.
The pool was cloudy and had stuff floating in it. Not pool toys.

If you love the smell of Curry, which makes me sick, feel free. The whole place reeks of it Adults and kids playing with a ball and bouncing it off the wall. The fridge in the room didn’t work.

Rooms very clean, microwave & mini frig in rooms. Nice staff.

Bed bugs! About midnight someone went up and hallway opening and slamming doors. About 2 am a dog started barking loudly. Called the front desk. This morning at the front desk the night person said that a cat had jump into room through the window. Really!

Hotel was clean, decent service. No complaints nothing to get too excited about either though.

Very nice place and the staff are very helpful. Very clean and quiet. I can surely say I recommend this place.

Pleasantly surprised! Stayed here for 3 nights. Not the fanciest but it was clean and comfortable. AC worked so well that we had to use the heat a couple of times. Loved having a refrigerator/freezer that you could more than a couple things in. Very quiet and would definitely stay here again.

Updated room, clean facility, very friendly staff, the lady who helped me at check in which I believe was the owner was very polite She was as helpful and welcoming as I could have ever asked for. Literally felt welcome like they was glad to have our stay. , and everything you needed was in the room. I would highly recommend super 8.

Pk and family have it together in this little best kept secret. Nice pool, clean rooms resonable rates. Hard to find a caring staff that enjoys hospitality but these peopme got it down.

You get exactly what you pay for here. The room was comfortable and affordable but cleanliness lacked. We found fritos and wrappers by our feet at the edge of a bed. And the bathroom was gross. There were horrendous rust stains all over the door frame and the toilet kept clogging. The guy had to show us how to open it and fix a jam that kept happening with the flusher. However, I have spent far more in "better" hotels and still had worse. The majority of our time was not spent at the hotel and it worked great for our needs. Disappointed that they don't serve bagels with breakfast though and the orange juice machine was down one morning. Coffee wasn't terrible for a hotel. I was impressed with the cable. Great quality and many channels, including HBO for free. We would definitely stay again if saving money is a priority. Overall cons they need to work on: thin walls, needs to be cleaned more thoroughly in between stays, not much effort in breakfast.

The rooms smell little mildew, there was blood in the doorway of our room. The owner said that it was paint but our Clorox wipe said otherwise as well as there’s no paint that’s not beige. The front desk person was dismissive when checking in. The pool was too low in the skimmers causing the filter to not correctly filter the water causing the chlorine to be much too concentrated. The plastic around the pool had black mold on it and was falling off. After running the sink for a few moments a spider came out. The was literally nothing that worked or went correctly what so ever.

My room was clean and had been updated/redone as recently as any other Super 8. No visible stains, bugs, paint chips, or broken furniture. The bed wasn't super comfy because the mattress was a bit hard and the appliances were definitely outdated, but they were still very clean and well upkept. I did notice a bit of duct tape on the shower head, but it was also a detachable shower head which I love, so I didn't really mind. You could also definitely hear most of what was going on in the rooms around you (I learned a lot about the lady next door's grandson at 8am while I was trying to squeeze in my last hour of sleep), but it doesn't seem to be a super busy place, so I imagine you could request a room away from others that were occupied and you'd be just fine. The lady working the front desk when I checked in was perfectly pleasant, and all the check-in and check-out processes were super simple. It's pretty much exactly what you'd expect out of a Super 8: Decent accommodations for a cheap price. Nothing fancy, but also nothing really old or gross, which is always something to worry about at cheaper places. I'm definitely really happy with my choice to stay there while I was in Kokomo for the night, but if you're planning on staying for any length of time, you may want to consider a pricier place. One thing I did think was really great, however, were the handicap accommodations.

We stayed in a double room 220, for cheer comp weekend. Was not satisfied with the room. Pool was warm, but cloudy and smelled strong of chlorine. Our room had many issues. The bathtub had a small section in broken creating sharp edges. The bathroom door did not stay locked and there was a pink size hole above the door handle that someone could peep through, didn't leave much room for privacy. The card for the room did not work on a few of the outside doors which made it inconvenient to get back in. There were hardly any outlets available. The price was ridiculous. We payed $100 and some change for one night. Wished the breakfast would've been a little longer, but that's not a big deal.

Nice places, warm pool but it needs to be redone since it is old and stained, the smell of Indian food cooking is very strong. They need air freshener in the hallway.

Pool had green stuff on the side that either was algae or mold. Housekeeper didn’t clean room and we didn’t have a do not disturb sign in door. My baby spilled something in the bed so I pulled sheets back and they never checked my bed at all. They don’t leave enough towels in the room. Front desk people not very friendly. We had to carry pur stuff up the stairs and the front told us we had to be quieter because it sounded like a herd of elephants going up the stairs. What do you expect woth kids and lots of stuff to carry. Be considerate and give us a chance to get sitters before complaining to us because later that night kids were running everywhere and keeping my baby awake and it went on for a while and I assume nothing was said to them so why to us! Never again!

It was Soo fun we got to go swimming and a lot of more stuff.

This Super 8 was very clean, the room and breakfast area. The staff was very helpful and nice. I would differently stay at this Super 8 again.

What I expected. Not fancy, a bit outdated and small bathrooms. But clean and the bed/tv/Wi-Fi/ac was fine. My stay was marred by a large group of young teens that ran the halls for hours, screaming and slamming doors and just being horrible. I finally complained to the front desk at midnight, and they did talk to them right away and get them out of the halls. Staff was pleasant and check in was quick and easy.

PK Patel and Staff are friendly, attentive to every detail. Rooms updated with new carpets, beds, paint, TV, bathrooms. Best place to stay in Kokomo. Great value.

I would like to first say I absolutely love the owners PK and Angela they are angels. Out of all of the Hotels/Motels in Kokomo Super 8 is my very favorite by far. They have very inexpensive room rates as well as very clean, nice and up to date rooms. Their rooms also I believe all come with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot which I love. They have a very nice and clean swimming pool for those who stay, that opens fairly early and does not close until 10pm. They also offer a nice continental breakfast from 6 a. M. Until 9 a. M. For those that need that little pick me up to get their day started and if you need to do a load of laundry no worries they also offer a laundry facility! So I must say for the price and all the amenities this should be a no brainer I've stayed at the 5☆ Hotels all over the US and the very worst as well and would pick Super 8 in Kokomo, In. Anyday. Thank you PK and Angela for making our families stays worth coming back.

The staff is very friendly which is always a plus when staying at a motel. My only negative thought was the room smelled a little like mildew when I first walked in, and when I went to use the coffeemaker there was a used packet in it. Other than that it was a clean nice place to shower and sleep. I would've liked to utilize the indoor pool but I forgot my suit!

Nice, clean room. Coffee in room and in lobby. Breakfast. Very friendly staff. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Room was not very well cleaned and ambient noises made it difficult to sleep. However staff was nice and other guests were respectful.

This used to be the hotel I would always go to. New management. Worthless. Horrible customer service by the new management. Ashley was great! Oh, and the rates are ridiculous! $40 more a room than what I used to pay. All kinds of junk by the pool. Will never recommend or stay here again.

Service was great. However, reguardless of the fact that we did not smoke in or do any damage to the hotel room they refused to give us our $50 deposit back when we checked out.

The bed was very comfortable. In the pool area someone had left the chemical door open and kids were in there swimming that was very dangerous. In our room a light didn't come on I noticed it was unplugged so I plugged it in and sparks flew that's a fire hazard.

The staff was friendly. Breakfast was acceptable. The room had many issues, caulked over hole in the bathtub, mold in the shower, the toilet was not bolted to the floor and tipped sideways when you say on it. There was a horrible smell in the hallway. They also had a nice kitchenette in the room (stove, oven, larger than hotel normal fridge but nothing to cook with or eat with) just found that a bit odd.

Wow! What a place! I had a great stay! Never slept so well in my life! Gotta come back! Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the staff, WOW what a great staff! They were courteous and polite, and on the ball with any and all requests.

Patel and his family are amazing hosts! I'm really impressed with how forgiving they are considering the nature of our group. Ashley is really friendly and treats her guests with superior quality. I highly recommend this location for service and passionate people.

A home away from home. Loved it one best place to check inn.

I would not recommend this to no one. The beds were hard not even soft and comfy. The pillow cases had dried blood on them, the bathroom was nasty. The bathroom wasn't even clean. Stains on the walls and tub. Toliet was dirty had what looked like poop stains. French fries in the back on the dresser that wasn't even ares because there was other garbage back there. Pool freezing, cereal was stale, apple juice and orange juice tasted old. I'm never coming here again.

Don't go here! First room smelled like body odor. Staff blamed maid. Second room TV was in Spanish. Front desk could not figure it out then the room started smelling of cigarette smoke. Front desk said that they could not knock on the room next door due to them having a do not disturb sign and they have been staying here for a couple weeks now. Wanted refund as we had been in The room a total of 20 min. Can't call me after 10pm. No refund. Left at midnight and drove the 3.5 hrs home. Been calling mgr for two days. No response.

The rooms are clean and nice and great prices. And the night shift front desk clerk was great but the front desk clerk/ owner during the day, barely knocked on my door 1 time and then didn't wait at all walked straight in and my room was paid for another 2 days still. Other than that it was great but I will never stay somewhere, I have to worry about a grown man walking in on myself or my 13 year old daughter.

The worst stay ever! My mother in law visited there for the weekend of 10/15, she woke up itching to go to the doctors to find out she was bitten by bedbugs. Management told her that room hasn't been utilized in quite some time and that he had it inspected up on her compliant and it was infested with bedbugs. I WILL NOT recommend this motel to anyone. That's a traumatic experience.

Checked in on a Sunday afternoon at 3 PM, since rooms are not ready util then. But the desk clerk, Scott, was very courteous and helpful. I paid $55 plus tax, came out to $61 and some change for a room with a nice comfortable King size bed. It's in a nice quiet area with plenty of restaurants near by, and other hotels. This one has the rooms u get to from the inside of the hotel, and those are the hotels I like. There is an indoor swimming pool, so don't matter what time of year u arrive, u can get in some swimming if u like. They serve a continental breakfast only in the morning, but for the the price, I sorta expected it. — — — — They are putting new carpet in the rooms at this time, so expect the halls to be a little cluttered, and my room had a roll of carpet next to the door when I got to my room, so I had to ask the guy to move it. He was courteous about it. — — — — There is is Fridge and Microwave in the rooms, but my microwave was plugged into a lamp that had a plug and didn't work, so I had to move the microwave to other side of room and plug it in to another wall socket to work it. There is also free Wi-Fi that works great, The only reason I didn't give it a better rating is because of the Microwave. And there are cigarette buts all over the ground next to the lobby entrance. The parking lot could also use a good cleaning. But over all I had a nice stay and was quiet at night. Your vehicles are safe in the parking lot.

This business was the worst place I have visited in years! Poor service, the night manager was too busy getting drunk to make sure the customers had what they needed in their rooms. Furthermore, our room had ANTS! Not just one or two. No they were all over the bathroom. In the tub, climbing on the towels, in the sink, and on the floor. It was disgusting and they never offered to change us rooms. Besides the repulsion of having bugs, we could hear the people upstairs all night long. They were stomping around, a baby was screaming all night. It was horrible! I will NEVER return to this location again.

It's a Super 8 and with rare exception, we know what to expect. No surprises here! The rate was reasonable, common areas well-maintained, room clean and comfortable, AC worked great, superfast Wi-Fi, the shower and water pressure was fine. A number restaurants were very close by making this property especially attractive for us. The front desk guy, Scott, was great! He was welcoming and competent and willing to share the knowledge he had of the area, attractions, and nearby places for dinner. We were grateful for first floor accommodations given my severely arthritic knees. Would certainly stay here again in the remote event we're in this area at some future date.

The hotel is pretty and spotless. The mattresses are super, super firm (like cement). Breakfast was the standard Super 8 menu and pleasant. Whole milk and it was COLD! Unfortunately the manager/owner seems to hate his customers. This hotel is run like a stuffy, hidebound, boarding school. The list of items you may not do is extensive. You have to initial his list agreeing to not do the forbidden things. The room doors all have the following sign "All linen is inventoried. Upon checkout appropriate charges will be made for missing linens. " People wrote insulted responses on the sign in my room. The manager checked me in and he was rude. Based on his attitude and rules, I will never go back to this hotel unless he is gone. Reviewer Marla is right the kids stampede over your head nonstop until 11:00 at night.

Have stayed at this Super 8 3-4 times a year and this time was very disappointed. When I made the reservation I asked for room 102 as I had 3 small children and wanted close to lobby. When I checked in I found out they had moved me to room 109 (front desk had to go check room to see if a fridge in room as not all rooms have one) then charged me a $50 deposit (never did that before in case of smoking but you sign a paper saying its $75). When we got to the room the floor was very dirty. You could tell it hadn't been swept and there was hair on the floor in the bathroom. We have a 1 yr old that is all over the floor so went to manager who came looked at room said that they could sweep it but never apologized for not being cleaned or getting moved. The come to find out the pool is out of order but that was one of the reason we stay there for the kids. No apologies there either. Disappointed in entire stay.

POOR, POOR, POOR! Do NOT expect what Super 8 advertises. The breakfast here is terrible, only bread slices, a few cheap pastries, and watered down coffee. That's it! About 8am Sunday morning, the owner's kids started an upstairs stampede, making even listening to the TV impossible; the owners live on site in an upper apartment. You are better off staying at the Motel 6 in town.

I have stayed there for at least once in my last three years visiting KOKOMO. I find the rates are vary competitive and staff is very helpful. Gave me free photocopies of documents, and also faxed them for free. Rooms are clean. And yes all rooms has queen (room with two beds) or king beds (room with single bed). Once also gave me double room with the price of one bed room. Pets are acceptable but with minor fee (don't know much since I don't have pet). Now they are providing waffle in breakfast as well. Love it :) Definitely Recommending, (performance for SUPER 8 standards 4.5/5).
