Very nice spacious rooms. 2 queen beds and a pull out bed with a couch and a couple chairs for extra seating. Definitely recommend.

My first room had oil stains all on the bed. When I went to the front desk to ask for new sheets, the man at the desk “ mike “ told me “ we dont have housekeeping so ill will just put you in a new room. My room would have to be downgraded “. Me being exhausted I accepted the new room. I finally get to the new room and it had BLOOD STAINS all over the sheets and pillows! Wine and food stains on the couch and floors. I went to the front desk and mike told me its nothing he can do so I ended up leaving im the middle of the night. I would never stay here again.

Room is very nice and clean pool area is great. Customers service is wonderful.

Came in to surprise sister for her 60th birthday. Staying here was very convenient, sister lives 5 minutes away. It was very quiet & staff was very helpful & courteous. Rooms were clean & we really enjoyed staying here. Will definitely stay here again.

We are experiencing the EXACT same thing as an earlier review on Yelp. We left a funeral service when I got a call that our dog was barking uncontrollably. The voicemail was alarming and so incredibly unprofessional. "Hi Emily, I'm calling you from comfort suites in Grayslake. You need to come back here and get your dog. " Of course we don't want to bother anyone, so we left. Our grandmother's funeral reception. When we got to the hotel, the woman was so rude and insulting that my little girls were alarmed and upset, and even as a shy, passive person, I had to walk away. I have never experienced such poor hospitality. My partner had been staying at this hotel each time he visited his grandmother, and the funeral was for her. I am rattled. When we arrived back, I went straight to the desk to apologize. I told her what room we were in and she said, "GOOD. " When I told her that the dog was 17 and had separation anxiety, she asked why that was supposed to matter. My jaw dropped. We came the minute we got the call. I'm not sure what this woman thinks she is doing, but it's the worst experience I've had at a hotel. I'm very sad. Please don't come here with a pet. What a nightmare. Also, our room is gross and smelled so bad the girls kept their masks on when we first got here. Didn’t even complain. And then that’s how we were treated.

This place is very clean the room are huge and the beds are comfortable. The staff was very polite. The price was unbelievable. For the quality of the place you can't beat the price.

We stayed here while in town for a family funeral. The main reason we chose it was for the hot tub in hopes of being able to relax in it afterwards. Upon arrival, we discovered the hot tub was closed due to COVID though they certainly didn’t mention such on their site. After getting ready for the funeral, we sat on the couch in our room to find it covered in pet hair (we didn’t bring a pet). So then we had to figure out how to get all the pet hair off our black pants before leaving. When we returned, the room was very warm so we attempted to let some of the 62 degree air in from the window and found a previous occupants cigar in the window. The front desk said they would call their manager to see what they could do about it and never responded to us. We will not be returning.

Stayed at comfort suites for 2 nights. Flew in from Los Angeles and was exhausted since my flight was very very early. Check in was a breeze the front desk was super helpful with everything. My family and I had no issues. Definitely recommend if you're ever in Grayslake!

We stay here everytime we come this way, love the staff and the rooms are always clean.

This hotel never confirmed my reservation, and then charged me as a no show. Doesn't a hotel have to confirm a reservation. How can I even expect a room at a promised rate without an email confirmation.

I stayed here for 5 nights for my son’s graduation from Navy bootcamp. They had an extra day of liberty because Monday was a holiday. This hotel went above and beyond to my our stay enjoyable—everyone was friendly and did a great job, from the lady who kept the breakfast bar stocked and tables cleaned, to the housekeeping staff who did a perfect job and the front desk people who helped me on the phone several times before the stay to check in and check out. The room was perfect and my son liked being in a nice room a little bit away from the base. The drive to the base is easy and no matter what route I took the drive was easy.

Very clean, very updated with lots of outlets and USB ports, reading lights. Just a very nice hotel.

Great breakfast. Small pool. Nice place. Entrance off the main road is easy to miss and if you want to walk to a gas station/convenience store you have to cross a busy road.

Our stay was amazing! The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We will be staying at this location from now on when we come back to the area!

We had a wonderful experience at this location. We came up to see and celebrate our sons graduation from Navy basic. The room was clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly and went out of their way to meet any needs we had. The breakfast and coffee selection was spot on. I would return to this location in the future. Thank you for a great experience (8/8-11).

Enjoyed my stay. Clean comfortable bed, suite was accommodating, staff friendly. The breakfast area is too small, had to sit in another room. The staff lady serving breakfast needs a friendly personality. Some foods not readily available, had to wait and ask during breakfast hours.

Comfort suites r the best. This one may have been above that enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend it! We used the shuttle for navy graduation… the driver was beyond professional. All around great experience.

Awesome breakfast, room was clean and comfortable. Pillows were soft, air conditioning worked well. Pool area was clean. Fitness area had a nice all-in-one machine and two treadmills. Overall great experience.

Economical, busy on weekends but quiet during weekdays. Breakfast not enough healthy options. Beds and pillows and linens very nice. Clean well maintained bathrooms. Pool area too chlorine filled for my breathing.

Everyone was so nice! Rooms were clean. Hot tub worked. Breakfast had great selection, including a waffle maker & pancake maker (which I had never seen before)!

Service was exceptional, very attentive staff. Rooms kept clean daily. They also did an excellent job keeping the parking lot clear of snow during a few large snow storms. Recommended fully.

Best hotel I've stayed at in lake county for the price. Very quiet and I loved the staff. The breakfast was very nice including eggs and sausage, they mix it up. But what a great hotel. So much privacy including when me and my fiance would go down to the hot tub or pool. More adults and really never seen kids running around.

We were so happy with our stay at this place. Everyone was so helpful at the front desk. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our every need. I highly recommend this hotel to any guest staying in the area.

No complaints here. The beds were nice and comfy. The room was large and spacious. The pool was warm and the hot tub was hot. The breakfast was good. We did find an empty beer bottle in our room between the couch and a wall, easy to miss by housekeeping. Overall we'd stay here again. Close to the fairgrounds. Some good eats nearby. All a short drive away.

We stayed for two nights for a local gymnastics competition. The pool is pretty nice, there is a hot tub even though it's hard to see in the pictures. We got a fantastic rate and the staff was very helpful. FYI no food in the pool is strictly enforced.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The service person at the desk was friendly and welcoming. The pool was very cold for an indoor pool and the door in the pool room was frosted over and covered in snow. Spent most of the night in the hot tub.

The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The continental breakfast was good with plentiful choices. The bathroom was very spacious. The only negative was one bar of soap that I had to move between the sink and tub. I will stay there again if I'm in that area.

This hotel was recently remodeled. Super clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a nice variety of choices and the hotel staff were great.

I enjoyed this place. They have free breakfast, a nice jacuzzi and pool, and they even have a gym. Also the room was pretty elegant. Great place to rest. They also have very nice people working there. Highly recommend!

Included in the price of the room were 4 tickets (per night) to Great America. Awesome deal! The room was spacious & the bathroom counter space & mobility were unmatched by any other hotel I've stayed at. The downfalls were that there was only 1 hook on the bathroom door & the shower curtain seemed to allow a lot of water thru & the floor got very wet, soaking the mat. Additionally, the entrance to the hotel is only accessible from the west and can be hard to navigate when new to the area.

A first glance, everything looked great and clean. Walking in to the restroom, I stepped on a few pop pop snappers and it startled me so much! I'm not sure how much the rooms are cleaned if some of those were left behind. Found some make up pencil shavings by the trash can too. As I was putting on my shoes, there was food right next to my foot. Luckily I didn't step on it. The beds, though, were very comfortable. The amount of outlets available in the immediate area of the bed is great for charging a phone or laptop. Layout of the room was very easy to navigate in the dark, if you were to stumble in late after a night of drinking. Breakfast is available before 10 am, so that's awesome. Water dispenser in the lobby was also great.

Second year in a row attending Liv's Hunt For A Cure, benefiting Cystic Fibrosis research and treatment at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Comfort Suites of Grayslake was again the hosting facility for the hundreds of participants from all over the U. S. And Canada, and is the most accommodating hotel I've ever experienced. Nestled on a beautiful wooded property, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with many old friends gathering on the patio, in the lobby lounge, pool, or around the grounds to share stories, memories, music, food, and maybe a drink or two. The facility is clean, very well kept, and offers an intimate setting difficult to find in areas like this with increasingly dense populations and suburban sprawl. The staff is friendly and helpful but never hovering. The complimentary breakfast is nothing short of incredible with juices, coffee, pastries, waffles, eggs, breakfast meats, even biscuits and gravy (really good biscuits and gravy)! Looking forward to next year!

We had very clean rooms, service was pleasant and the rates were fair.

Hotel is a clean, no frills hotel, perfect for just a night or two. Only complaint is that there is one entrance to the parking lot and it is difficult to get in/out from various directions.

Everything went smoothly. The staff left us alone, but made sure we knew we could ask them for anything if we needed it.

The rooms were large and comfortable, and the continental breakfast was great!

Really loved our jacuzzi suite and the price was reasonable. Free breakfast buffet was decent but nothing spectacular; all the food seemed pre-made & heated up that morning.

Great all around. They are relax on rules it seems. Let a family with a 8 year old and a 1 year old put their kids in the hot tub. :/

Staff is always friendly, helpful, and goes out of their way to accommodate their guests. Spacious rooms, fast Wi-Fi, and a pool and hot tub make stays here pleasant every time.

The place is newer, has an indoor pool and hot tub. They use too much chlorine, in the hot tub. Got chemical burns/ skin reaction from being in it. If they did not allow children in the hot tub maybe they would not have a need to over chlorinate. Other than that the rooms are nice, beds are uber comfortable.

Hosted an event for my business in one for their private rooms. I really enjoyed how brights the space was, the fact the Wi-Fi was fast, and the area was quiet for my presentation.

Very nice property. Complimentary continental. Convenient to Lake County attractions. The only issue is entrance to the property. Must enter from eastbound Belvidere. Enjoy.
