It was nice, staff was not only thing is rooms and beds are small, and no complimentary breakfast! all in all it is not a bad hotel to stay in.

Enjoyed our stay at the Jasmin hotel stayed for a week, housekeeping was excellent and reception staff very friendly, just outside city centre but very accessible by overground train and 29 bus to navy pier which were close by. Quiet location and Starbucks just 2 doors down would recommend.

The room was small but adequate. Nothing too spectacular but, for the price, it was well worth it. It was in close proximity to downtown, walkable for most. I would absolutely recommend this to others.

Stayed here from out of state for a conference being held at McCormmick Place. Staff is friendly and flexible — I arrived hours too early for check in, they held my luggage and were clear about when I could come back and access my room without an early check in fee. When I got locked out of my room they had a replacement temp key in my hands in less than 30 seconds! They were great with keeping my room clean and stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. And I can’t emphasize how friendly they were — I’m from Nebraska so that goes a long way! The entire hotel from the entrance and lobby, the elevators, hallways, and my room are all very clean. I slept like a baby, even though there’s a busy street just outside. I loved my view of Chinatown and then the loop skyscrapers just behind. They have blackout curtains which are great for sleep. I had no safety issues here or in the surrounding area. I did walk to and from the hotel to McCormmick Place throughout the day (morning afternoon and late). If someone didn’t travel much or wasn’t from a bigger city they may not feel comfortable but it would be unfounded. The elevators in the hotel can only be activated with a guest card. Overall very happy with my stay! Only con was a minor musty smell in my room. You put a card in to turn electricity on in the room and I think as a result air doesn’t circulate much. I only noticed it walking in, it goes away quickly.

This hotel was great! One of the cheaper ones I could find in the area. Great access to the trains, and right next to Chinatown. The staff was very warm and welcoming, and helped me with my card when I first checked in because it was acting weird. Would definitely stay there again.

Clean, inexpensive, easily walkable to McCormick Place, right on the edge of Chinatown. The bed was super comfortable, everything I asked for was fulfilled. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

It is a really nice, clean and modern hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We even where able to get a late check out (until 3pm) the location is great as well, it is right across the street of Chinatown, where you will find delicious food and so much more.

Very nice, basic, no thrill hotel in Chinatown Chicago. Rooms are very clean. There is no food or drink service onsite. Starbucks is next door and plenty restaurants across the street. We had a nice view of downtown Chicago (see pic). Soldier field is about 30 minutes walking distance and the Field Museum and Adler Planetarium are just a bit further. Rooms are basic but comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has clean rooms with a very friendly staff. It's close proximity to the Chicago red line was what originally attracted us to this hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in the heart of China Town. Walking distance to so many different restaurants. Courteous and professional staff who check in and check out very quickly. Would definitely stay at again.

Building was very nice and well maintained. Rooms were on the small side, but it's Chicago so what do you expect? Rates were more than reasonable. Public parking was a block away and rates were reasonable ($30). A block from the Red line CTA train was very convenient. Old Chinatown was in pretty rough shape and litter was abundant but no safety concerns I saw.

Not a bad location and price if you need someone Chinatown or even the loop area. Easy transportation.

This place actually saved our lives after the horrific experience of the hotel we booked a couple blocks over. No parking, not unusual for downtown chicago. Wonderful lobby, friendly staff, nice and cheap for the area, clean sheets, good air conditioning, clean rooms, spotless common areas and comfortable beds.

The location to this hotel is right in the middle to Chinatown Chicago. It is easy to go to places like downtown. The receptionist was kind and welcoming. Didn't have experience with the rooms because only went there for the pricing.

Clean hotel. They were very worried about making sure the rooms were clean and stocked each day even though we put the do not disturb tag on for the duration of our stay. We stayed there for a business trip and were impressed by the convenience of the location. The train was nearby and it was a safe place to walk to and from our meetings. One problem was that the hotel offered breakfast when we booked the room but by the time we arrived they weren't. They did give us vouchers for the Starbucks next door but the voucher didn't always cover the whole cost of my order.

A bit too much, take the dog son and friends to play in Chicago, the dog is a little uncomfortable, only four months old, outside the snow is very cold, Courdor, can not put the dog in the car. And the front desk, the Chinese uncle and white little brother is very friendly, help to find a way. The White Lady sister really hates, a face, said not to ask the manager will not agree, I said you can ask, she said refused, white brother said can refund, small sister said refund manager will be angry, and questioned small brother refund money you out? Very silent, under the snow still have to find a place to live, very poor puppy son.

The hotel was excellent! They have everything you need! Good location, clean room. Except they need to provide toothbrush!

Loved everything about this goddamn hotel. It's clean, quiet, the staff is friendly and there are so many restaurants and stores right outside. No parking but street parking is free from 10pm — 8am and $4/2hrs other times. There is a fenced parking lot a short walk away with $15 overnight parking. The train is right above the parking lot as well. No breakfast; Starbucks nextdoor and Chinese breakfast accross the street.

Great location, beautiful interior and comfortable rooms with a very classy look overall. Staff was very friendly and polite and the neighbourhood was very cool. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice place to stay, clean and staff was helpful. Great security, I felt safe. The only issue I had is the advertising for breakfast was false. It's a convenience most people are accustom too. I wish they would remove it from the website. The hotel owns the Starbucks next door maybe a voucher should be included.

Very nice hotel, at a great price, its very clean, beds are very comfortable. They have a nice fitness room in the basement. They have a free breakfast, although there are no hot foods. The downside about this hotel is that parking is not available on the premises, other than that, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

The rooms are very modern as well as the lobby. Near the entrance to Chinatown and the Metro. The night is a bit noisy but the hotel is new.

Superb location. 6 min train / 9 min taxi ride to Union Station or Millennium Park. Clean lobby, rooms, breakfast area and helpful staff. Only drawback is : the adjoining area — Chinatown restaurants serve mostly Chinese foods (in varieties), but other types of food or vegetarian food is impossible to get.

A nice upgraded hotel with adequate rooms! They are not huge but for singles or couples traveling it's perfect. There are no amenities like a fitness center which is a downside for me in general. Very helpful staff, both front desk and housekeeping! I would stay here again in future visits to the area.

Loved being so close to the metro and downtown. Loved the hotel the place was spotless and staff was very kind. My husband loved the mattress but I didn't… too hard for me. The hot water wasn't as hot as I would like. Other then that loved the place!

Lovely hotel right in the middle of Chinatown. Comfy beds and large rooms. I do wish breakfast had more variety but I'm not much of a breakfast person anyway, so still giving the hotel 5 stars.

Great value. Super clean; don't think I'd find a spec of dust with white gloves. Right in the heart of Chinatown, so as long as that is a positive to you (Amazing food all around! ) No frills. Does have a continental breakfast, but pretty basic. Staff is friendly. Dollar for dollar, I don't think you'll find a better deal anywhere near here, but if you need super clean streets, of a pool & hot tub, maybe look elsewhere.

A really nice hotel. Very clean. A good breakfast bar in the morning. Only 4 stars because of no on site parking and no discount deal with the pay lot one block away. Could be an issue for older people. Over all we loved our stay there!

Very nice hotel. Brand new rooms, very clean! Well appointed. 4 star quality level with pillowtop mattresses! Street parking! This alone saves you $30-$45 per night. Close to downtown without the premium pricing.

Nice atmosphere. Excellent Wi-Fi coverage in the room. Lots of shops within walking distance. Cold breakfast items only, but great way to grab something on your way out the door. Convenient location to transportation options.

Dropped off some family here while they were visiting Chicago. The lobby is very new and nice, rooms were small but clean. The nightly room rate was great considering how close major city attractions are and was much cheaper than others in the area.

Nice place, good-looking lobby, average hotel room. Breakfast wasn't anything impressive, and they called us after we checked out when they found something that wasn't ours, which is good service but made me doubt how well they inspected the room before we checked in.

Small rooms great staff cheesy pillows. If you like to hang out with homeless people after midnight this is the street to doit on. This is as good as it gets for Chinatown. Definitely the most secure for this area. They do not have an ice machine on every floor so if you like ice get a room on the odd-numbered floors.

The location was very nice since we were going to a conference practically down the road. The price was right through expedia or other booking sites and the rooms were comfortable with 4 guys in one room. There is a "breakfast" included but this is the smallest included breakfast I've ever seen, consisting of a single tray of coffee cake, two cereal options, oatmeal, milk, and orange juice. It was very disappointing, but that was a very small demerit. The strange thing was they didn't refill our toilet paper even after we ran out. When we asked the maid she didn't have any on the cart, but they finally delivered it several hours later. In total it was a very nice experience for the price, in a very interesting location when in a group with many fun and tasty restaurants right in Chinatown.

It is a very good option if you're visiting Chicago. It is very close to the metro station. The breakfast you get tired on the second day that everything is sweet but has what you need… is a safe place neat and nice… also if you have to leave the bags a little more time in the hotel while waiting for your flight they can save … plus it is economical.

The hotel are pretty new and the room are clean. It was fine for the rate they charge. The location are convenient if you want to stay around Chinatown. Don't expect too much.

New amenities belie small but quaint rooms. I was placed in a queen suite instead of the king because of a mismatch. The staff was hospitable and accommodating in providing a discount and placing me in the king when it was available the next day. The continental breakfast was not executed very well as supply was unable to keep up with demand. The public parking lot is a block and a half away, so make sure to drop off ypur luggage before parking. It was an overall good experience despite some hiccups.

Very clean and friendly. New rooms and nice showers. Although it's a new hotel so doesn't seem quite like they have the best of the best yet. Only cinnamon bread and cereal for breakfast. Beds didn't seem to be the most comfortable. Constant sirens going past outside. Overall quiet and nice given the price.

Nice hotel near the city centre. It was opened on May 2016, so it is still quite new.
Room
The rooms are clean and always air-conditioned. In the bathroom you have plenty of space, even for two. On the big TV you get massive HD material in.
There is unfortunately _keinen_ fridge in the room.
Staff
At the counter I felt like I was harassing the staff. Breakfast service * and concierge were always super nice.
The cleaners mean it in a way too good and vacate the room on ' delivery condition '. We also lacked a pack of biscuits that stood on the bedside table and the remote control for the TV was in one of the drawers. There are also daily new towels which I personally find excessive.
* On weekends we had the situation that breakfast was cleared 20 minutes before the end, which I found very brazen.
Breakfast
Very skinny. There is a little fruit (bananas, apples, pears), cereal, Honeyloop, instant Oatmeal, cakes, yogurt, coffee, milk, orange juice and hot water for tea (including) and the Oatmeal.
If you need proper breakfast you should go out for dinner.
Environment
I would say — typically Chicago — in one Direction Hui in the other. But there's nothing you can do. Within walking distance are some stores like Walgreens and some Chinese supermarkets.

This hotel opened in May 2016 and it sparkles. Our first room didn't have working air conditioning, they moved our bags immediately to another room. The views of downtown were nice. Located in Chinatown and a short walk to the L train. The breakfast was continental and presented well! Very clean! Courteous staff! Hope to return soon!
