Room was nice and clean Continental breakfast was very delicious so much to choose from. Parking was real close enjoyed our stay.

Jessica is amazing! A wonderful person, engaging with her customers and super friendly! She makes great cocktails! She should be training all your staff, she knows how to upsell without me feeling like she is selling. I am definitely coming back just because of here!

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived from a red eye flight. Checkin time isn’t until 3pm but the Geremy let us check in early. I’m eternally grateful. We were so tired from the flight delay and the summer heat and literally were crashing.

Check in was 3 and I showed up at 6. My room wasnt ready and they tried to downgrade my room. A hour later I was checked in but the fridge didnt work well. I had to wait 3 hours for towels. The pool temp seemed about 60 so super cold. Cold breakfast was a joke. They actually had about 10 people in the pool as I was there. Covid 19 restrictions and all.

The reason I won’t recommend this hotel for anyone 1st off when we got there they told us that housekeeping only clean every 4 days because of covid. No one pick up our trash and linen unless we call down for them to do so. Secondly we call about our refrigerator in the room it was not working no one ever came and 3rd the room was cold the heat didn’t work and lastly one of the guest we brought with us hit the TV and didn’t crack it or nothing but the LED in the TV messes up they want to charge us 1000 dollars for a 5 year old TV like we could have brought the TV 3x the money they asking. So if u go make sure that u go on your own risk. I didn’t like the fact they tax their guest like that. The employees for the most part where genuine really nice except no one working but the people at the front desk. And because of covid you can barely do anything have to reserve the pool, the fitness center and it no fun with one or two people please the breakfast is a joke, it’s just cold food. Nothing like real breakfast 

I don't recommend staying here for several reasons. One u have to park a block across the street and walk to the hotel. You can only swim at certain times for 30 mins… only available time for us was 7 am… really? oh and not to mention their breakfast has nothing warm on the menu. I stayed at the holiday Inn and got better breakfast.

It's a nice hotel nestled into the downtown area. The free breakfast offers quite a bit, but can get a bit busy at times. The only fault that I have is that the door to the bathroom is a frosted glass sliding barndoor style door. It is cute, but offers no sound protection. Also the bathroom has no vent. Other than that it is a very nice hotel for the price.

Nice Hyatt in the downtown area. Very clean with small comfortable rooms. Only issue was with the complementary breakfast as the area is way to small for the number of guests in the hotel. People were stepping all over each other when trying to get food and looking for a place to sit… which is limited. Staff extremely helpful and would not hesitate to stay again.

Great hotel! I was here like a month ago on a three day stay same weekend they had the marathon, and lost my keys to my car the day of checkout. I believe the service rep was named Bess he helped me even gave me a little longer checkout time till the lock Smith came. Clean hotel and the morning breakfast wasn't bad either. Great job guys keep up the good work. Sorry so late.

Being in the loop is already a huge plus. The rooms had nice big windows and very modern design. The valet was a great guy and I had my vehicle moments after requesting it. Only downside was that it was a little crowded during the breakfast but other than that I highly recommend this hotel.

Can’t say enough great things about this hotel! The staff went above and beyond in every way-they were so helpful with anything I needed and had exceptional customer service. The hotel itself is a great location, walking distance to a lot or close to public transposition. It was easy to get to. Great breakfast, amenities and staff! Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the city!

Nice, clean hotel with a breakfast. -It was in the business district area and a lot of the restaurants were closed on the weekends, even the close walgreens was not open. -The corner suite with the pull out couch is not properly measured because WE HAD TO MOVE THE MATTRESS TO ACTUALLY PULL THE BED OUT. Someone measured horribly wrong. And then the person on the sofa side of the king bed got blocked in. -The lights situation. The bathroom set up was cool with 2 sinks outside the actual bathroom, but the light to the bathroom was not in a convenient location at all. -I would've put another trash can in between the sinks -You will walk a lot if you don't get a metro pass. The metro/L/train is like a block a way which is handy. These are mostly really picky things that didn't really change our stay, just things that should be addressed. Overall, it was a nice hotel for a extended (four night) stay.

Not nearly as nice as should be for price it's actually a bit tacky. My mom came to visit and stayed since its close to my apartment but would have been better off at one of the W hotels for the value. Same basic price but the W is MUCH nicer. Live and learn…

Very friendly and helpful staff, they offered my son a bag of M&M’s while we waited on our room to become available. We were put in a corner room with a nice view of downtown. The hotel is clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Also in a nice location, within a 15 minute walk to a good number of downtown attractions.

Our experience here hasn’t been the best. We checked in around 3pm and the room still wasn’t ready. There were at least 5 other people checking in and none of their rooms were made either. Very poor customer service over all. The breakfast could have a bit more of variety. We had dinner at the hotel one night and honestly if I knew what the quality of the food was I would have gone to a McDonald’s. The rooms are nice, but the employees don’t care at all, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you want to be disappointed at everything they do.

Came here for a professional IT event. Venue was clean and spacious and the provided refreshments were of high quality. During happy hour, hotel employees were friendly and provided good service. Overall I was left with a good impression of this hotel.

Very nice people that run the desk. They were very helpful. Breakfast was always great. Swimming pool is a bit on the small side and not all that comfortable to stand in. The key cards die frequently so make sure to always have your id on you so you can have them create a new one. Rooms were okay. The room we were in had a glass barn door for the bathroom. While nice, it doesn't do much for blocking the sound of someone using the bathroom. Good place overall.

Wonderful front desk service. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, and luxurious. The hotel is in a great neighborhood with lots of options for food and entertainment. Transportation is close for easy access to the Loop and O’Hare Airport. Five stars aren’t enough to indicate how fabulous this hotel is.

Great for business travel if the location is suitable for you needs. Fresh property with first rate fitness center. Rooms have separate working area for business travelers. The complimentary breakfast is possibly the best I have ever had with items such as bananas foster compote and avocado salsa to go with your breakfast fare. Roasted potatoes with spinach and parmesan and ancient grains blend with veggies a couple of other notables. Coffee bar also in the lobby. This is where I plan to stay going forward.

Great location. Its in the heart of the downtown. But house keeping service is pretty slow. And breakfast is very monotonous. We had stayed 4 days, all days exactly same spread. But rooms were spacious and facility was good as promised. But microwave can be provided in room, we had a suite for 4 adults n 2 kids. And its difficult to go ground floor to use microwave. At least in each floor one should be there.

Very nice and cozy. View not too glamorous because it's surrounded by buildings. Great spot in city. Many great spot are a walking distance away.

The staff here is wonderful. However, for a hotel that is very busy, they should have all hands on deck on a Sunday Morning. Other than being short staff, everyone that I came across was very helpful, caring and willing to go above and beyond. Thank you!

Very conveniently located near washington/wells L platform. Lots of options for eating and entertainment are accessible. Beds are extremely comfortable and rooms are very spacious. Breakfast was high quality as well. Small bar on site with limited food and drink options, but reasonable prices.

This hotel does a good job of making you feel like your stay is very important to them. The front desk staff remembers who you are and is very polite. There is an absolutely great breakfast served each morning and it's always different. There are amenities like a workout room and an indoor pool. It's in the middle of downtown and you can walk to a bunch of interesting places and good food. Plus, it's a short walk from the E-Train, which can take you straight to either airport for a low price.

Was here on a quick weekend vacation. Loved the facility. Only complaint is the lack of dining options after breakfast. A small salad was $14. A kit Kat was $5. Warning that fast food restaurants in the area close somewhat early so you're left with going to something expensive.

Stayed here on a weekend trip to Chicago with my family, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms, and a delicious complimentary breakfast. Chicago hotels don't usually offer complimentary breakfast so I really liked that. A short walk to the El and bus stops. The pool is small but the kids enjoyed swimming. Would definitely stay here again!

Room is more than I need. It surprised me how good and comfortable the room is. Breakfast is outstanding and delicious. Location is great. Everything you need is nearby. Dining bar/restaurant is 24/7 although the menu does not have a lot of option. The options are good and the korean tacos I tried were really good. The rooms are extremely quiet. It's downtown, but you don't hear the traffic and with the curtains you can make it super dark if you don't like light while sleeping.

Awesome service from the front desk, bar, and housekeeping staff! Our stay has been great. The only thing I'm not loving is that in addition to our window looking straight out at the brick wall of another building (not really anything that can be done with that, it is Chicago after all), the windows are tinted so very little light has been able to make it into the room, making it feel like it's permanently nighttime. A minor thing since we're not spending much time in our room this weekend, but it's a little disorienting when I check the clock and it's 10am but it looks like it's 4am outside.

Staff has been incredibly helpful and the room is an amazing corner room with floor to ceiling windows and great views of Franklin Street. Room was neat and clean. Keeping it in mind for future trips!

I found it to be a very chic and warm environment. The addition of the sectional sofa in the room really gave it the feel of being my own place as opposed to my own cubbyhole. Also the mattress was extremely comfortable I believe it was some form of memory foam but just excellent to sleep in.

It's the perfect hotel for business travel. It's well located, the staff is welcoming, it's clean, and there are power outlets everywhere. There is no room service, but the lobby lounge serves meals and lots of other restaurants deliver to this location. The free breakfast was pretty decent, quick, and convenient before my meetings.

My maid of honor got in comtact with Hyatt Place for room blocks for my wedding that was this past May. Hyatt was very responsive and helpful when emailing questions before our big day. She. I arrived to the room the night before the weddding there was a note and come Mr. And Mrs. Mugs waiting here filled with useful day of things! I thought that was so cute and really made the experience even better! We would definitely book a room there again and highly recommend room blocking for your wedding.

Another fine stay at the Hyatt Place. It continues to be a great option, convenient to many businesses and attractions. Ammenities are excellent, though there is no room service. Breakfast is generally good and changes depending on what day you stay. The eggs could be a bit better and, alas, no waffle maker, though the cookies available (for a fee) at the front desk are so good it almost makes up for it.

Flight was cancelled, and we decided to drive to this hotel. We called ahead letting them know. Still, when we get there, our room isn't ready. It gives you a weird feeling when someone comes out of your room right as you try to get in, looking incredibly embarrassed and telling you to wait because they have to clean it. Once inside though, it was nice. Bed is nice. Also, thanks to the thing walls, don't worry about setting up an alarm. Screams from the kids in the next room will wake you up in the morning.

Been there for a weekend. Great room. Great service. Very kind staff on the front desk. Amazing breakfast. A bit crowded on Saturday morning and difficult to find a spot to have breakfast but patience to it.

Given, the ambiance and amenities were great, but you can find that in many other hotels. What I really adored about this location was the service and the staff. They didn't even feel like staff they felt like friends or people that you know. One thing that stood out the most was every time we entered the building they greet us with a "welcome back. " And haven't found that within any other hotels so far (but maybe that's just me).

It was a great room and the service was very friendly. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they have a valet service but only one valet attendant and you would think on a Saturday morning when people are checking in that you would want at least 2 guys working. This poor man was running back and forth to take cars to the garage or bring them back to us. Also their food service for the 24/7 gallery was not that great. They tried and I'll give them that but their food was not good. Other than that though I loved it. Great location and friendly staff.

This hotel is perfectly located near the Theater District. The service from our check in to check out was exceptional. Our room was quite large and the beds and linens were incredibly comfortable. The downstairs lobby/bar area was so comfortable and had plenty of space and charging outlets for devices. This truly is a fantastic Hyatt property in a perfect Loop location.

I went with my friend and the rooms are beautiful. The pool is nice for 5 people. It has a bar so the adult feel like they won't be bored if its one. I really recommend for every one to come to this hotel for a event!

Check-in was fast, easy, simple. Breakfast buffet was good for it being free. Rooms were awesome for the price. We had the 2 queen bed and suite and it was perfect for 2 people. Shower was amazing. Fitness area and pool good. They had a bar and you can purchase drinks (water, soda, etc) but better to stop at a different store. They had a good variety of drinks but not that many snacks but we brought our own so didn't matter to us! Spacious lounge area. Staff was SUPER friendly. Overall, excellent spot and will be coming back the next time we're in chicago!

The location is great. Willis tower, art institution of Chicago and millennium park are all within walking distance. The room is pretty nice. All basic novelties are there. The breakfast is just so so nth very special. Overall it was a pretty good experience.

Absolutely awful, Requested a room change within 5 minutes of arriving, was accommodated with a lower classification of room, and at 3am on my wedding anniversary we were woken by our new neighbors arguing about drugs, money and guns. Needless to say we need not feel safe calling down stairs to have the situation dealt with. So we used the text message feature. We waited through 45 minuted of tense yelling and screaming until we had enough and there was what felt like safe lull in the argument to quickly pack our stuff and get out of dodge. When we expressed concern the people at the desk did nothing but offer for the morning manager to call in the morning. When the morning manager did call he expressed they could not fully reimburse us, and that several other complaints had been made about the same room. DO NOT STAY AT THE HYATT PLACE ON FRANKLIN, they do not offer a safe and secure place for guests to stay and when notified take far too long to correct the situation. Needless to say me and my wife checked out of the hotel at 4AM on sunday morning after our wedding anniversary. Real great way to spend the 1st wedding anniversary Hyatt. Really wanted to be concerned for my safety at 3AM. Never staying at a hyatt again and making all my friend and family aware.

Excellent room. Excellent facilities. Excellent location. We had a suite as there were 3 of us sharing so we had 2 doubles and a sofa bed. It was nice and spacious. However the best feature was the pool and gym. After long days walking around the city with our friend in a wheelchair it was nice to relax at the pool or the gym. The breakfast was a basic buffet style but had a great choice. Staff were friendly and helped us get a taxi big enough for the wheelchair. I wouldn't stay anywhere else now.

We're so satisfied about our two nights stayed at your place, room are clean, and well take good care of each day. I must say, I would be happy to recommend your place to some friends who are now planning to visits Chicago for next year. Nice staff and a cool ambiance. Cookies in the display case in the lobby: excellent, but cost $5. Great bed and huge rooms with couches. Water pressure in the shower: terrible. Pool: ridiculously tiny. Good workout room and nice breakfast (no waffles, however). Can't beat the location, and their meeting services are excellent (prepare to eat a lot).

Great hotel, great location. I've stayed in a couple hotels in Chicago but this one is my favorite so far. Rooms are chic and spacious. The only issue is that I wish there was a microwave. I ate at tons of restaurants during my Chicago trip but didn't get to bring back any of my leftovers.

Stayed at this hotel for 50 days, while there the staff was very nice, for the exception for a few very rude staff members. My room was cleaned everyday, and several times the room was left open, and my class ring and two watches got stolen. I received one watch back, and the hotel refused to replace my stolen items. The hotel is nice, and has a nice view, yet they do not offer room service, and the food at the hotel is very un-edible. The bar has very few selections, and the breakfast every morning is not that good except for on tuesday!

GREAT hotel & GREAT (front end) staff! While my family & I religiously stay at another downtown Chicago Hyatt Place hotel during this time every year, we decided to try this location on Franklin St. For valentines weekend instead this year. From the time I called a couple days before our trip to confirm our online reservations to our departure date, the experience was nothing but satisfying! Although the hotel in general (lobby, pool & rooms) are slightly smaller than what we are used to all areas were clean, fresh & useful. Beds are comfortable & rooms are very clean, breakfast was great with a nice variety of options & shopping is just within walking distance only blocks away. Our favorite part of the stay was the staff! No matter what part of the hotel we encountered the staff was a hit! Every member was VERY polite, accommodating & ALWAYS willing to assist! From housekeeping, to the front desk staff (who were always ready to assist & were very knowledgable about the surrounding areas), to the bar area & kitchen staff, service was always with a smile & without hesitation! This is a plus for me and my family. We travel often & therefore, live for great customer service. There is nothing more wonderful than having a great customer service experience, especially while away from home. Our stay here was un-regrettably pleasant. If you're looking to give this hotel a try, I suggest doing so!

Great location downtown. Huge room which is exceptionally clean and tidy. Good 24h menu and all the staff have been lovely! Would recommend!

My stay was for 3 days and was nearly flawless. The hotel is brand new. My room and bathroom was huge. The celings are VERY high the desk and chair is modern and comfortable. There are tons of plus. One of the things I loved the most was that the TV was new and large and hadd FULL HD channels with SHO, SHO 2, HBO, HBO 2, IFC and more. The breakfast was totally awesome and they had Seattle's Best Coffee. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I used the laundry facilities with no problem — I also used the fitness room which is big and totally brand new machines with towels etc. Oh my shower was absolutely great huge standing shower. The hotel is close to the train and it wasn't noisy at all for me to sleep. I didn't hear a sound. The minor annoyance is having to scan your hotel card to use the elevator every time… But that probably won't change — still I couldn't have a guest over without having to get them myself downstairs. Overall, the stay was amazing — the hotel is beautiful the rooms are NEW (carpet, beds, bathroom, TV, etc). This is a hotel I definitely will stay at again next time I am in Chicago.

I had an amazing stay at this location. The rooms were clean, and the staff is friendly. The kitchen is open 24 hours so you can order food whenever needed. The location is very close to many attractions.

The very accommodating staff had an HDMI cable for me to borrow when I forgot mine. Free breakfast. Downsides: you have to swipe your roomkey before you can use the elevator, and the coffee is hidden around the corner by the bar in the morning with the free breakfast.

Room was nice, modern design. The door to the bathroom was broken, as in it wouldn't lock but not that big of a deal. One of the better continental breakfasts I've had. The beds could have been more comfortable, not as comfortable as at Marriott hotels.

Clean, friendly and very local to everything. I'm a tough NYer to please so this place was a pleasant surprise for me. I've never been to Chicago before and this Hyatt makes all the difference in my stay. The staff is knowledgable and helpful. The rooms are spacious and uber clean. I highly recommend staying here. Just book it and worry more about having fun.
