Great location and staff.

Let me just say that they are some hard working people at the front desk and I swear the room attendant was also house keeping and a few other jobs but she was amazing at every role she did! I didn't get her name but I do know that she deserved more than a day off but some extra pay as well. The hotel was beautiful and clean. I enjoyed my stay! I will most definitely stay there again whenever I'm in Chicago!

Very good attention and service. The only very bad thing is that it has no parking for customers and the valet parking is VERY EXPENSIVE! I spent the same amount of money I paid for the car rental! It was definitely a very expensive expense that I didn't have in my budget! But no way I had no choice!

Although I pre-checked in it took almost 30 minutes to check in at the front desk. It definitely felt like we were getting the run around. I just called the front desk to request 3 sets of towels for the EXECUTIVE SUITE that cost me over $400 and was told I could only have 2. Unbelievable. Way to get a 0 for customer service. This is no longer my favorite hotel. Hire more accommodating staff who care about customer service.

The concierge on the 2nd floor was so incredibly helpful. I am a nursing mom who had to be away from my baby for a couple of days this past weekend and they made it so easy for me to store my pumped milk to bring home to my baby. All of the ladies at the desk were incredibly gracious in taking my milk and giving me supplies to store bags and label them, and Kennedie even kept the milk in her own personal office fridge for me. None of them made me feel embarrassed at all for asking, and they were very professional about it. Thank you so much! ❤

Súper front desk and a very enjoyable dinner at their Level 2 resturtant. Excellent location for Michigan Avenue shopping, travels to Navy pier and to the NM surgery center; less then 100 feet away😊

I personally like the fact I were accessible to all the eating and shopping area. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Service was great. Thank you will return back and I recommend you all.

Kids loved the pool! You do have to reserve it during covid but you get it all to yourself. Pretty neat.

Great hotel. Very accommodating during the pandemic. I took my girls for a weekend getaway. We were able to book private pool time, Adam the hotel was very accommodating as we needed Space for my daughter’s zoom dance class, he found us a space to use. He was very helpful during our entire stay. I would love to experience the hotel outside of the pandemic. It’s close to great restaurants & great shopping.

We booked the Executive Suite which was very spacious. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. We were the first guests to reserve the newly opened pool and hot tub. Very clean hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful rooms, nice touches you wouldn't have thought of but are glad to have. Excellent location. Friendly staff.

This has been the worst check in experience with Hyatt yet. Staff was super rude and my room STILL isn’t ready. Not worth the rate. At $300/night next time I’ll stay at Four seasons. At least they know how to treat guests. Truly disappointed with Hyatt.

Superb service from start to finish! Beyond impressed with the cleanliness, professionalism and hospitality during our stay. Breakfast and waitstaff was absolutely amazing! Food is delightful. All beautiful smiling faces, all day from staff! The location is phenomenal and the design and aesthetics are impressive. If you’re into Pokémon, statues inside the hotel are exactly Pokémon stops. Our son loved that! This has been one of the best lodging experiences for us to date! We will definitely be returning! Only issue — water pressure!

4.5 stars. Lovely hotel in a great location! The staff was incredibly helpful and respectful. Rooms were very spacious, equipped with top of the line products. Conveniently located near shopping and food — and the connected-Starbucks was a major PLUS! Comfortable bed, as usual with the Hyatts (Hyatt Millennium CHI and Hyatt Reg Kaanapali HI. ) Definitely recommend for your CHI stay!

Even though this hotel is next to a hospital, we were not bothered by sirens all night. When we arrived we were concerned, but it turn out not to be an issue. What did bother us was the room configuration. The TV was not in the center between the 2 beds. It was located directly in front of one bed, and it made it tough to see the screen from the other bed. Also, the bathroom did not have adequate space to place our toiletries. Everything keep falling. Another issue with the bathroom was the lack of towel hooks on the wall, and no dryer line to hang a wet bathing suit. Our room slept 4, but there was only 2 hooks. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel staff was great. They always greeted us upon our arrival and departure from the hotel. If we had questions the staff was ready to assist. The location of the hotel was very good. Nothing was too far. We walked to most destinations, minus the attractions that required some form of transportation (ie-The Science and Industry Museum and Wrigley Field) Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Great location to everything worth seeing in Chicago. The staff is excellent and room were nice/clean. Only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the hospital across the street. The ongoing sirens during the night made sleeping an effort at times. Otherwise, highly recommend this location and yes I would stay there again no question.

Nice quiet, intimate boutique hotel in Streeterville. Location is great in that it feels very much like a city residential area and has plenty of small restaurants in the neighborhood, yet it is steps away from the mile. Only caution is that it is next to the Northwestern campus hospital, and there are a lot of ambulance sirens throughout the day and evening. No problem for us, not sure if it is frequent at night since we sleep right through. However, we did notice a white noise generator in the room, which could be helpful for light sleepers. Kind of a nice room extra.

Loved it. They were so nice and friendly. We had room 732 it was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and very pretty. If I ever go back to Chicago again I will definitely try to get a room with them. And you are just one block from Michigan Avenue.

Nice experience. Had the kids with us. Close to everything. Small nice pool. Gym. Breakfast 25$/person (buffet) Gino’s pizza across the corner. Ballet for 70$. Spot hero had better deals. But if u just drive around the block u can find good deals in parking.

We went in on Sunday the seventeenth after getting married the day before and when they found out we had just got married they upgraded our room free of charge to a corner suite that faced the John Hancock I would very highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent place to stay. Right in the heart of the Miracle Mile. Very nice rooms. Professional, friendly staff. Great food available for room service. Other great food options within walking distance.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Hyatt Centric Magnificent Mile and we had an unexpectedly good time. Normally, while traveling we don't get all gussied up and fancy so when we checked in and found out this was a very business feeling hotel, we were amazed by how thoughtfully and respectfully the staff treated us, despite the fact we didn't "look the part. " If we make it back to Chicago, we will definitely check in here again. It was only a couple blocks from the Pier. Obviously the place was neat and clean as well.

Location is great, but aside from excellent customer service, nothing about this place says "4* hotel" to me. I was charged an additional $30/night to "upgrade" from two queens to a single king bed. I've gotten more comfortable mattresses in places that cost a quarter of this price. I fell asleep more easily on the couch than the bed in my room. None of the features of the room made any kind of sense. Barn style door to the restroom, pixelated modern art, and a motion sensitive light UNDER the night stand, but no where else. All these things are nice aspects, but totally disjointed. It's like they hired an attention deficit teenager to upgrade the features and make it more hip but that teenager poured all the money into style with no though for real amenities. None of the light switches are placed in natural, sensible places. They all require several seconds of searching. The bathroom, at first glance, was lovely. All upgraded vanities, nice lighting, but the tub and shower head could have been 40 years old. At 180 per night, there is no reason not to have a deep soaking tub or at least a modern, detachable shower head. There are many, many better places to stay around the mag mile, especially at this price point.

Very good location and attention.

A lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I have never been to Chicago before and enjoyed my holiday with my family. We only had breakfast at the hotel and they provided a large selection to choose from. Room was comfortable and clean. We flew in from England and had a great time as the hotel is central and all the sights close by or a bus ride away.

Staff was great, rooms were beautiful and clean. Location was right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Bar and restaurant made it easy to access amazing food and drinks. Pool was clean and warm, hot tub was as well. A little on the small side but fair. Fitness area was great and provided everything I need while away from my home gym. Worth the money for sure and I will be booking again.

The location of this hotel is excellent, it is just a step away from very good restaurants, entertainment, museums and large shops.
The problem is at breakfast time, have a call Alice who makes an excellent menu is diminished because it is not ready to serve in a friendly way to the customers and also the staff who treats in a very derogatory and arrogant, it shows a tense atmosphere. It gives a lousy picture of the hotel!

Great hotel a block off Michigan Ave. We stayed in the king suite which was with the 20 buck upgrade. Make sure you request a room on the opposite side of the hospital. The sirens go all day and night. It's walking distance to anything you need. The shower is a basic home type within the tub. That's disappointing. The restaurant and bar are good and fairly busy. The service was poor all three times we went there. All the staff is really nice. The valet is 70 a night.

The hotel staff was courteous, smiling and kind. The accommodations were comfortable. The key system that they have for the hotel is somewhat frustrating. After 3 PM on the weekend you need your key to go up to your room. There are some quirks, but overall, a great place to stay.

I was going to put 4 or 5 stars but unfortunately a person of the hotel rotted my stay in meprisant me of the check in under pretext that I did not have a physical credit card I said I pay all in electronic way but it was very unpleasant m a Gives one of the worst room of the hotel with almost no natural light it was very dark J had a building in front of my window and the room was very noisy with a system of ventilation which was triggered in the middle of the night making me start… My friends were fortunate to have rooms in the high floors despite my request to change room the same person refused in an Audie way C is my worst stay in a Hyatt Hotel C is a pity because 99% of the staff are great but a person has rotted My stay when I did my check out J had the right to regret with a nice smile and C is all…

It was a very nice hotel. Staff was excellent and the rooms were very clean and modern. It's right off of Michigan Avenue but it's jammed to an area where there's really no good view out of any of the windows. It's also right next to a hospital so you will hear ambulances coming and going all night long. The fitness center was nice but the pool was very small. I purchased rooms there for 2 nights but after the first night I ended up leaving and booking at the Virgin hotel instead.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was kind and accommodating. I let the concierge know that my wife and I were celebrating a special trip and we found a quite nice surprise in our room on checking in.
Truly, the only knock was the noise. The hotel is right next to a hospital that receives ambulances. In order to get through traffic, the ambulances crank their sirens to 11! I thought the sound was loud in the room, but after having one pass me on the dtreet, I had to check for blood coming out of my ears. The hotel does provide ear plugs, but unfortunately, I have never been able to sleep well with them in my ears.

I loved this property. I was attending the Chicago Planner Conference and really appreciated the way they treated all of the attendees. Everything was well laid out & the staff was very helpful. The location was excellent with plenty of options to eat nearby. Great space.

I must have been upgraded! Far exceeded what I thought I booked. Bed is wonderful. Level 2 restaurant was fantastic. The chicken pot pie while a bit of a wait (They tell you when you order) was just fantastic… like wow fantastic.

We came just to get away for a weekend. We choose this hotel for the price and location. When we checked in, we were asked if we wanted to upgrade to a corner king room which we did. The view from our room was awesome. We loved the hot tub and pool. We hope to be visiting again in June for our anniversary.

Absolutely outstanding rooms and service! I was here for my good buddies bachelor party with a few guys and we were very impressed. You are RIGHT downtown Chicago a walk away from just about anything you want. I will be staying here again someday. Also extremely friendly staff and great service while staying here.

Beautiful, cozy, SPACIOUS rooms. Amazing beds with high-thread count sheets. The hotel is just off MI Ave, so there's loads of shopping and great restaurants nearby. I particularly appreciated the short walk to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. Staff is wonderfully friendly and give great recommendations. I'm really enjoying my stay… but couldn't give 5 stars. 1) the pool is meah. I expected more from this kind of hotel. 2) there is a hospital opposite my room, which means sirens… I considered changing rooms, but it's not that bad. Just typical big city sirens. I did notice ear plugs when I came in and soon figured out why. I plan to come back, but will ask to be far away from the noise.

Nice place next to a hospital. Food and amenities are above average in cost. Staff seem bothered by simple requests. Room was comfy but not quiet. Valet parking cost is very high.

My favorite hotel downtown, near the mag mile, rooms very clean, restaurant and bar is excellent. Love the decor and all the high end finishes such as marble bathrooms. The staff is wonderful!

Great location. Love all the special amenities. Housekeeping was real great went the extra mile to get my husband a pair of slippers and an extra robe love the hot tub. Couldn't sleep in because of the noise for the construction they were doing on the 4thfloor and we were on the 12th. Spoke with Debbie Gatewood at the front desk and she said she will handle it! She was as nice and kind because of her I definitely will be returning again. Didn't get a chance to try there restaurant or bar.

This is my first time staying at this location. The lobby is on the second floor and there are no markings to this fact. Check-in time took a little long. They do have a texting service that is very convenient. Our room was nice and updated. The room was very clean and had a great view of the magnificent mile. The beds are extremely comfortable.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed. Good service and very helpful. I requested them if I could check out at 1pm and they changed it from 11 to 1 with out any fuss and even the valet parking guys were nice and helpful.

The negative was the proximity to the hospital; ambulances all the time, but they provided great earplugs, so it wasn't terrible by any means, just somethung to be aware of. Overall, a really good stay in a consistently quality hotel chain.

It is just like it's site, staff are polite and friendly, good location, nice rooms within a good facility. It gets 3 stars because it is exactly what you would expect if you checked its site and the price. Nothing more or less. I'd have no trouble stay here again. I didn't find anything that would make me reduce my rating and didn't encounter any pleasant surprises or exceptional experiences that would make me raise it.

This was an excellent stay. Just off of the magnificent mile, so there are several excellent places to eat, drink, shop, and sightsee. Public transportation is also very close so you don't have to drive everywhere and hassle with parking.

Very well located. The rooms are very spacious, the beds comfortable and quite large. The only flaw is that the cupboard is something small.

This hotel is cool, but with there being so many in the area, I probably wouldn't come again unless nothing else was available. I was given a room, and as soon as I walk through the door, I look to my right and I notice that there was a towel thrown on the vanity in the bathroom area. I'm like ok, this is odd, but I look at the other towels around and they were folded as they should have been, so I'm thinking if this is the only problem I'll keep the room. Then my eyes go to the toilet where there is a big ole wad of tissue. Mind you all of this occurs with me standing in the door way. After I see the tissue, I didn't bother to go any further into the room. I lug my HUGE suitcase back down to the front desk and tell the receptionist, my room is not clean. They show great customer service and give me a free drink and a new room. HOWEVER, when the front desk called to see how the new room was, I was told that the housekeeping manger flat out lied and said she checked my previous room and it was clean. I didn't fully inspect the first room, but a big ass was of tissue in the toilet and a towel on the vanity after sometime washed there hands from using the bathroom is not a fully cleaned hotel room! Down at the restaurant and bar, the service is also spotty. Some of the staff are top notch, others not so good. One young guy virtually ignored everyone while he did inventory.

After our first hotel didn't allow us to stay because of our service dogs we found the Hyatt Magnificent Mile Hotel and loved every minute of staying here. Great bar, great staff especially Ellen, great room, and a great stay. Highly recommend and will stay here again when I come back to Chicago!

Great staff! Nice rooms, nice views, good crowds, great location. "day life" is great. "night life" is so-so. Bar closes at midnight but I can't really complain. All around 4.5 stars, obviously not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Great hotel just off the Magnificent Mile. As a business traveler, I couldn't ask for more. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are quiet, staff is polite, helpful, and welcoming. I will definitely look to stay here again the next time I'm in Chicago!

No complaints. Nice location, nice room. Swam in the pool with my babies, chlorine wasnt to bad. Ate at Fridays 1/2 block away, was good. Gino's down the street very baby unfriendly. Parking was $45 tho at adjacent garage. Valet is quite a bit more.

Excellent hotel. An amazing location close to shops and places to eat.

Despite booking our hotel months in advance, when we arrived to check in, we were informed that the hotel was fully booked. There didn't seem to be much sympathy about the issue and we weren't the only people with the problem. When we asked what had happened the response was a simple "it's a busy weekend" and sat in the lobby for about an hour being ignored by the staff. I understand that mistakes happen and that sometimes you end up working a shift when issues like this arise. That doesn't excuse the poor response from the staff. I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel and had planned my entire trip around this location. Instead, we had to frantically figure out where we would end up staying during a busy weekend in the city. Really not impressed.

The outlets don't work. The beds are like boards they are so stiff. Oh and the hotel security came to our room at 1130pm when us and our 2 kids were sleeping, banged on the door waking everyone up and insisted that because they could smell smoke in the hall that we were smoking in our room. He threatened us over and over demanding to search the room where my 3 year olds were sleeping. Finally he went away and we never heard anymore about this issue (I guess they found who was smoking) I will never stay at a hyatt again, and if you have children or value a good place to stay, this is not the hotel for you.

I was there with my parents and boyfriend for a wedding at the banquet hall. The venue was nice and staff members were helpful. The food was ok. The lobster bisque soup was good, but the main entree was not as good as we hoped. The NY strip steaks were all well done except one which was medium. We prefer it rarer, but I suppose it wasn't a deal breaker in terms of the night.

The location is very nice, as far as the service is available and always friendly, the rooms are well ordered, all clean, you also have a nice view from outside.

Relatively recently renovated rooms. Buffet food at a business function was surprisingly good. RFID locks present a slight security concern, but not a major one. Excellent location for walking downtown. A moderate walk from the Grand CTA syation, so consider that if you're coming with luggage.

Great hotel. We had an exec king room, it waa very large and comfortable. Staff is very helpful and polite. Location is excellant, withun walking distance to many areas.

Hotel staff are not very friendly. The rooms are well maintained and property has excellent gym. The décor in the hotel is modern and well put together. Excellent location in Magnificent Mile.

Very clean and professional. Modern and comfortable. Great complimentary coffee in the room. I forgot my hairbrush and they brought one to my room for free! Refrigerator and safe box in room. Good quality toiletries. Towels could have been nicer and that's the only negative thing I can say about this place. Excellent location!

Attended a career fair. The accomidations were nice and its well kept and beightly lit.

Our first impression wasn't great; got to the room and the toilet was broken. They did get someone to come up immediately to fix it. We liked the gym and the food at the bar was pretty good.

I like the place. It's my favorite in Chicago. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The bar is incredible. There's always live music at night and the food is good. The close proximity to everything is a plus.

Everything in the room is wonderful. I would only ask that you remove or give us the option to turn off the motion activate lights because at midnight I don't want that going off and waking up my partner. Other than that it is a wonderful hotel.

We booked our room through Travelocity, and didn't get the correct room type we thought we booked. We had to upgrade rooms to get the correct number of beds, at our expense. Otherwise the building is very nice and we'll kept.

Overall, a great hotel! Modern and clean. Courteous staff and the breakfast buffet is great. Only thing is the valet parking is very pricey. I would recommend one of the garages just down the road.

I stay in Hyatt Magnificent Mile a lot and have never had a bad experience there. The staff is great and if you are a repeat guest chances are they will recognize you and your preferences. The rooms a fairly large and have some nice features such as motion sensing lights under the end tables. These lights, which I have not seen anywhere else I've stayed, light up the floor around the bed and are absolutely fantastic for navigating the room without turning on the lamps/overhead lights.

Pleasant environment for a group of colleagues to eat and share a breakfast. However, they couldn't accommodate our group of 10 with any ease and it made our meal kind of clunky. Good place, over priced for the food.

The rooms are very clean. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable. They have a great bar inside. The bar features beers that are only within 125 miles of the hotel. Pretty awesome when you're traveling and looking for something local. Valet parking is too expensive. You're better off finding somewhere else to park overnight.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Chicago. Attended a wedding here and the event spaces were all as nice as you would expect out of a top-tier venue. Service was excellent and accommodating at all opportunities.

I stayed here mid-August. This is a fabulous hotel! The rooms are gorgeous and relatively quite for being downtown. It is one block from Michigan Avenue so it's easy to walk to everything — museums, restaurants, shopping. GREAT! We were able to check in a few hours early, which allowed us to spend even more time sightseeing. The staff was polite and knowledgeable. I would stay here again for my next trip to Chicago and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful room with a reasonable price.

I would never stay here again. It is way too expensive and every staff worker that we spoke to was not accommodating or friendly.

Overall nice stay, I had a corner room, which was surprisingly smaller than the regular room, but the bathroom was bigger than the regular room. Service is top notch and breakfast (huevos rancheros) is a must, also try to check the chef's pozole soup, one of the best I've tried in years. Wifi connection was good all over the hotel, all personnel are friendly, would stay here in my visit to chicago again.

I felt compelled to write this. I made a reservation here when I had an outpatient procedure close by, I did not have a ride home. On the am of surgery I was told I could get a medicab. I was not sure if it was too late to cancel room… I called this hotel. Went through a queue twice, did not get appropriate choice, hit 2… It then said I could talk to somebody, which I really wanted to do. I then was transferred to another automated system. The automated system asked if I wanted this or that… I said cancel expecting to talk to someone. The system just said "your room is cancelled' Sounded good I was charged anyway When I called they said room was not cancelable. Surprised by this… Did not get that condition in e mail, but mostly explained if they had just told me that the room was not cancelable when I tried to talk to someone I would have kept room. Too bad. Was transferred to manager, left message, never called me back. Then was told to contact revenue manager but to e mail as he does not return calls. E mailed. I recently stayed here. The staff was very nice. The lobby area has live music, which I love. The rooms are nice, but counters could have been a bit cleaner. Hot tub, pool area, workout room was very clean. Pool water was just right! I would definitely stay again.

Never ending sirens from ambulances going to Northwestern Hospital. If you like sleeping at night, don't stay here.

Great Hotel with a Great Staff.

I have been a fan of Hyatt hotels for a while, and generally stay in a Hyatt wherever I go, so while looking for a hotel in Chicago, I really only considered the Hyatt hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Chicago and this hotel. The executive suites are very large and spacious, plenty of room for two couples to spread out and not be cramped. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Denise at the concierge desk helped me with several special requests for our room, and the doormen consistently gave us perfect recommendations for all of our partying, dining, and shopping needs. I've seen several reviews from people that have complained about the parking fees. Just do a little research. I knew within the first 5 minutes of researching this hotel that parking was $63/night, so I chose not to rent a car, which is the way to go. With Uber, taxis, and limos all over this area, there is absolutely no reason to have a car here. If you absolutely must have a car here, you can park it in the hospital lot immediately across the street for $20. Anyone that pays $63/night to park at this hotel just isn't very smart. The pool is nothing to get excited about. It is a little bit larger than a ping pong table. No, I'm not talking about the hot tub. The hot tub is a little bit larger than my kitchen sink. The pictures online look like some kind of luxurious spa. Believe me, it is not. Overall, I was very impressed, as were the others in my group.

As my expectations for large scale chain hotels are not very high, I was pleasantly surprised by the Hyatt Magnificent Mile. The guestrooms have new carpet, the service is quick, and the onsite food is actually quite good. But for goodness sake, please get rid of the Gideon bibles.

Had high expectations given we had a fantastic time at this hotel the year before. Decided on a repeat stay for a couple night family vacation. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the accommodations did not match. First, when checking into the hotel we ended up with a room without working AC, after paying the bellhop to bring all of our bags to the room, I had to make several trips to the new room with working AC. After settling into the new room, we found that we had a bug/spider problem. We have 2 small kids and this resulted in sleepless nights when they would find a small bug crawling on the wall. Didn't bring it up to the staff because I had already called regarding the AC and didnt want to come across as high maintenance. Im sure they would have moved us again, but we just dealt with it. Unfortunate when you spend the money for a higher end hotel. What really upset me is after parking in valet at $61/night, our brand new car with less than a couple thousand miles had a big scratch down to the metal in the door. Only about an inch, but still very frustrating when you spend the money for someone to take care of your car, and we've hardly had time to break it in ourselves. All in all, I would recommend you shop carefully when you have many great options in the city. Would consider a repeat stay if traveling alone on business, but would never pay the money again for valet. (Valet manager seems to be making the effort to resolve our issue.

This hotel is your rather standard, run-of-the-mill, business hotel. It has great amenities, a reasonable bar (the Sazerac I had there was just ok, though), a Starbucks in the lobby and is very centrally located. The room and bed is comfy and the nearby emergency room is creating some level of noise which is tolerable, though. The disappointment in this hotel is the bathroom, compared to other similar hotels (Dana, James, Public,. ) it feels rather lower-class. The bathtub is not suitable for an actual bath so it would have been nice if they would have just put in a higher class rainshower or something. But if you are here on business, need a central location and access to shopping and dining this is a good choice.

This is only for their 'level two' restaurant. Also only for weekend brunch they have own mimosa and bloody marry station that you can make your own drinks. Very fun! their number of food are limited for buffet but good quality. You can find most menu for brunch like benedict, own omelet,, etc I will def. Go back.
