This hotel definitely wrote the book on customer service! All staff were extremely accommodating and personable. I don't think we even opened our own doors when coming back to the hotel via Lyft rides. Someone brought a microwave to our room when my wife said she only needed it for about 30-45 seconds! Wow! There was even a shoe shine service, which I took advantage of. I loved that our room was serviced twice daily, including a nightly check-in to see if we needed anything. (Estrella is the BEST! ) The hotel location was perfect, being within walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, and Millenium Park. The only hitch in my stay was a mix-up regarding a massage appointment at the spa. I was offered other times, but unfortunately could not accept them based on my schedule. I'm hoping for a complimentary service when I return. I will definitely stay again when I'm back in Chicago!

If you are driving, do not use gps to get here. Call them and they will direct you in. This will save a tremendous amount of frustration. The Langham is perhaps one of the finest hotels I have ever been to In My Life. It has earned and deserves its number one spot as the best hotel in Chicago. I am incredibly harsh when judging hotels and there is literally not a single thing I have to say they could do better. The location is right next to Trump Tower and Incredibly convenient. The rooms and the workmanship is expert. Fully modern with the most appealing designs and furnishings. And service! Simply unbelievable service. my congratulations to the management team of The Langham for delivering an exceptional stay experience.

Getting married here and Davina has been wonderful. Beautiful event space, gorgeous rooms, and very attentive staff. There is a reason this has been ranked the luxury hotel. The cocktail lounge looks right over the river with some amazing views of the city.

This is one of the greatest hotels on the planet. We have stayed here several times and could not say enough things about the hotel, its location, staff and amenities. If you visit, you must see Chris Baum, concierge. He is a delightful person with wonderful local knowledge and charm. Every one of his recommendations were great. Awesome place!

Fabulous hotel. They get all the details from the cleanliness and features of the rooms to the professionalism of the staff. One of my favorite hotels. The gym is well equipped. Room service quality and presentation is top notch. The restaurant on the lobby floor is wonderful. Interesting food prepared well at a reasonable price.

We choose this hotel on a spur of the moment. We ended up staying the whole weekend. They went above and beyond. Every time we left our room to go out the room was picked up even my makeup was organized. The tub was big enough for a 6 foot guy. We stayed in the room just because of the amenities ♥️

Incredible experience from check in to check out. I travel quite a bit for work and have to say this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The gym is large, indoor pool is nice and spacious, but it was the little touches that really impressed me.

Amazing hotel. A bit pricey but you really get what you pay for. Beatiful good size open room. The bathroom was very spacious with a spectacular bath tub. Very nice river views. Staff was good. Bar downstairs was good with a nice selection of cocktails. Definitely would recommend if you are willing to spend a little extra money.

The Langham is one of the most posh hotels in Chicago, both by reputation and reality. The rooms are all exquisite, with huge bathrooms with both shower rooms and bathtubs, and a separate room for the toilet. The rooms on the south side have a great view of the Chicago River and the Loop. Room service is 24 hours and excellent. The concierge is most helpful. The spa is extravagant and luxurious. The bar disappoints with closing early, but that may just be the audience. Overall, a great hotel in a great location.

This hotel is exquisite! The archictecture and decor reflect luxury and contemporary taste. The rooms are large, comfortable and include every amenity one can imagine. Within walking distance are several restautants, bars and attractions. Loved my stay here!

The food was good and the solanes meeting are Grande's and beautiful.

The staff was excellent and I very much enjoyed the restaurant. Bummer that the attention to detail lessened the impact of great people. The hotel Wi-Fi signal was weak and unreliable. The towels in the pool and hot tub area are a bit thin and "scratchy", unlike the room towels which were very nice. One of the underwater lights was not working in the pool. The hot tub was a bit foamy with the foam persisting for over 30 seconds-gross! There was a hole in the shower "hose" that sprayed water all over. To their credit, it was fixed very quickly. There was also a 24" crack on the wall and the ceiling. After failing to locate an ice machine, it took over 20 minutes to get any ice. I would have been happy to go to the restaurant or an icemaker rather than having to make two calls and wait. Finally, there is a typo on the website that has been uncorrected for several weeks. "The Devil is in the details. "

Beautiful hotel. Stopped in to their bar with some friends for some drinks on a Sunday afternoon. We loved their 90's inspired theme drinks. If you're looking for more of a quiet area to chat with friends and have a fun drink, this was perfect.

Nice rooms… nice hallway… nice hotel. Bar upstairs is meh. Go out on the town to a bar. The pens are cute. I have couple now and I am not the only one who has taken one. Bed is good… bathroom is amazing with privacy glass. Took a bath and watched hockey. Two birds… one stone. Here is the thing… the towels are crazy stiff and scratchy. Seriously… get that right and it's 4-5 stars.

Pretty new hotel in a great location. Certainly luxurious and the bar and dining are excellent. The spa is definitely their greatest strength. If you need a hotel centered vacation, this is a great spot to escape and relax.

Upscale space with a beautiful glass enclosed selection of wine and spirits. Everything else left a bit to be desired. Service was good, not great or what I'd expect of fine dining. Waiter was friendly however after initially declining a drink at the beginning of service he didn't ask me if I wanted to see the drink menu between courses. Food was not excellent which is what we paid for. My duck breast was rubbery and my wife's branzino a bit overcooked.

High Tea is amazing. Live harpist was playing when I last frequented this establishment. Highly recommend. Attentive staff make going to high tea at The Langham feel like your Chicago royalty. Great for Sunday tea with the family, girls social hour or daddy-daughter date. Not much of a view as you're basically at street level, but the inside is so beautifully deigned you won't notice.

The Langham Chicago was a fantastic hotel. The location was very close to everything we wanted to do, and the room was even better than expected. The room was spacious and clean. We loved it so much that we weren't bummed out that we spent way too much time in the hotel room because of the cold weather. Room service was also delicious and fast (30 minutes after ordering on new years eve). Our only complaint is that valet parking was too expensive ($71 a night) and we don't know Chicago well enough to find cheaper parking. Overall, a great hotel and we will definitely stay here again when we visit Chicago.

Had a reservation for tea. The place looks beautiful, the service is amazing and really good atmosphere. After sampling all that comes with the prefixed menu: my feeling is that this is a way over priced for what we received, compared to other high end tea prefixed menus it's almost double.

Would have to be one of the finest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in. Tremendous attention to the needs of guests. The service could not have been better. The staff is highly attentive. Rooms are spacious and very well appointed. The restaurant is outstanding, fitness center and spa both incredible.

Spent two nights at The Langham in October 2017 with my wife. We had a one bedroom suite overlooking the river. We have previously stayed at the 4 Seasons, Peninsula, etc. And the Langham is every bit as good, but with a better location and better value. The second floor lobby is spectacular, modern but not sterile. The room was super quiet, and the bathroom had one of the best showers we have seen.

Amazing service! Went here for Sunday tea and was treated like royalty! Extensive tea menu and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely will go again!

We had a fantastic experience here for my birthday celebration! We did the afternoon tea and it was truly divine. The service was top notch and the food was absolutely delicious. The SCONES were the best I have ever tasted! The host even gave my little girl a bear from the gift shop which made her day! We cant wait for more family occasions so we can return!

I've only stayed at a few five star hotels, but The Langham was likely the best of the bunch. The overall attention to detail in the room was fantastic, from decor to technical amenities I was thoroughly impressed. Everything about the layout of the room was thoughtful, especially the bathroom. It was a great experience and I'll happily stay there again.

Lovely rooms, as you'd expect from Langham. The spa facilities are nice. The pool is OK — I expected it to have a bit more atmosphere, and/or to be offered a cold towel/drinking water pool side; but nothing like that.

Had afternoon tea at the Pavillion. Beautiful space. Their sandwiches were pretty nice. Probably some of the best for afternoon tea in Chicago. Pastries were beautiful but not as great at other places. Tea selection was excellent. Service was top notch.

Upscale hotel with excellent service. The staff is always there but they will never bother you with lots of questions. Huge room and bathroom, really clean and silent, even with a wedding going on. I was able to check-in earlier without paying an extra fee.

Wow! Worthy of a celebrity and from what I hear, a good chance you'll see one! Amazing location, impeccable service, rooms are superb but beds almost too soft. Great bar and really good food (even room service). The bathroom is exactly what you wish you had at home. The Langham has thought of everything even down to the trademark scent when you walk in the front door. Definitely one of the best hotels in the country!

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… The Hotel and Staff are well deserving of their five stars. I looked forward to coming back nightly after a conference I was in the city for. Room was impeccable, shower was strong and never got cold. Room service and the in house restaurant were also of five star quality. I would book there again when the time requires.

Exceptional hotel! Our room was vet comfortable and quiet. The rooms here have been soundproofed. The bathroom is very luxurious and are appointed with Chuan brand toiletries. These are house made. The bathroom is very spacious and contains a seperated tub and shower. One unique features of the bathroom is the automated privacy glass. When you press the privacy button, the glass transformed to frosted privacy glass in less than 1 second. The room area has what looks to be a 60 inch television, mini bar, espresso machine, Bose Wave Radio with bluetooth connectivity and more. The linens on the bed are enough reason to stay here. Very luxurious. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel! We did upgrade to club access and they have a host of assorted snacks and hors d'oeuvres to enjoy. The house car is so fun and unique too. We took it to dinner one night. The house car is a 50 year old restored English taxi that has been converted for use here in the states. I must now stop. Mystery must be preserved to some degree. We had a great time here and you will too. One of the finest hotels that exist.

Awesome luxury hotel. It's the best I have ever been. From the moment you set foot in the front entrance to the moment you leave, you're treated like a valued customer. The room we stayed in on the club Langham floor was immaculate and nicely decorated with modern theme throughout. The swimming pool was very relaxing. I recommend paying a little bit of extra to get the Club Langham lounge access. The breakfast buffet & evening hors d'oeuvres was very good and they include decent selection of alcohol as well. To top it off, the view from the lounge is very, very good, too.

Incredible hotel with excellent customer service. The entrance is a bit confusing, you need to enter on the ground floor and go up an elevator to the 2nd floor to check in. However the space is beautiful, and very welcoming. The rooms are clean, feel fresh, and are spacious. Gorgeous shower, bath, and restroom space. The bed is fantastic. Room service courteous and fast. Overall, this is a wonderful luxury hotel!

We had an amazing experience at The Langham. The public spaces were beautiful, we great views of the river and the buildings south. The service was fantastic, and everyone was very pleasant. Breakfast was above any other hotel breakfast I've eaten, with a selection of waffles, eggs, oatmeal, bacon, and others. We also enjoyed the hors d'oeuvres and drink hour (who wouldn't! ), and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks were available all day. The room was beautiful. Spacious sleeping area and bathroom, with a waterfall shower head, along with a normal shower head and bath. The wardrobe and bathroom were marble floor. I had two nights of great sleep from both a comfortable bed and very quiet environment. And the privacy wall between the bedroom and bathroom — normally clear, but becomes opaque by clicking a button — was pretty slick.

Langham is probably the nicest hotel in Chicago that I've stayed at. Very elegant, beautiful, and right in the center of downtown Chicago. There are very nice restaurants and tons of shops/stores all right when you exit the hotel. The views from the hotel are great and it's right by lake Michigan and navy pier and millennium park. Would totally recommend 200%! The service is top tier as well, and it's extremely clean.

I had a birthday surprise there and I loved the staffs attentiveness to all of my party's needs. The Ice cream was the best I've had! :D And the cupcakes were a touching and delectable arrangement of very delicious flavors. The Garrets popcorn in the Ice cream was a very delicious addition t the already very savory ice cream.

Definitely the best hotel experience of my life. There are three things that make a hotel stay unforgettable in my book: the square footage, the bed and the bathroom. Our room was impeccably decorated, mirrors everywhere (great for OOTD selfies), the bathroom door was on a sliding rail rather than a traditional door, the television and the cable service was full HD and even though Trump's behemoth building blocks what should be a beautiful straight-shot view of Lake MI, the ambience, decor and service at this hotel makes up for everything. The room service wasn't the best but make sure you partake in Afternoon Tea. It is an experience to remember! Although pricey The Langham is definitely the place you want to stay!

I love this place! I wish I could make The Langham my second home. I stayed here the nights before and after my wedding. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The best part of this place is the service. Every single representative gave exceptional service with every encounter. Also, the Afternoon Tea is wonderful. The food was great, but the service again was the best part.

Amazing! I absolutely love to top floor (Lounge)! Very nice service and a personal butler! I would recommend on a long weekend or for a holiday.

Stay away. Was forced to stay here to avoid a cancellation fee of $400 for a full night's stay plus all taxes. Do not book a reservation if you are a professional with regular schedule changes.

Not only is the city amazing, but this W did not disappoint. From the chic art deco design to the rooms (get the Wow or Spectacular) I always enjoy myself. Be sure to book at least a month out to ensure the best deal. The staff is very helpful, concerned, and ready to help whenever possible.

I have never had a better hotel experience! Superb hotel service from the moment you walk in the door and a relaxing atmosphere. I stayed in a Grand King room and the moment I opened the door it took my breath away. The room was so great I had to create a video to send back home and share with my family. The price is a bit high, but if you can afford it — it is definitely worth it. I'll be back.

My experience at The Langham was amazing! The hotel is beautiful and the decor is out of this world. The moment you walk through the lobby you just feel so elegant and rich. The rooms remain to have the same elegant feel as the rest of the hotel. Both the room and bathroom were beautiful and very large, oh and the view from the room was breathtaking. If you have a chance to check out Trevelle (the bar within the hotel) they have some great cocktails and the atmosphere is very snazzy and fun with live music, too.
