Where do I begin… the hotel is dirty, old, ran down. It’s advertised as a luxury hotel but it’s giving motel vibes. There’s no restaurant, bar, terrace, complimentary water. The rooms are tore up, showers don’t work, closets are broken I had two rooms both were torn down and if you complain the day manager get really nasty toward you like it’s his house. He told another guest if she wants coffee to go in the bathroom and get water to make coffee. Wait! Isn’t this a four star hotel? The night staff are nice but the morning staff act like you owe them something. They don’t give you a receipt when you check out had to call for one. Avoid this place it’s not worth it AT ALL!

It’s a very nice hotel parking wasn’t so great but all in all I enjoyed my stay.

Do not stay here. Terrible service and overall sketchy environment. With multiple other hotels in the area, stay clear of this one.

First came here in ‘19 for a photo shoot. Eurostars offers wonderful views of DT Chicago. Friendly staff. Luxury high-end hotel with a great spa and fitness room. My BFF and I stayed here, it was my first trip to the windy city. Great location and staff were super friendly. I hope to come back and stay when the world opens back up again. Thanks for the hospitality.

It's a cool art decor kinda place in a great location. Really comfy and clean rooms with an awesome rooftop bar. The Portsmith restaurant is great too especially their Sunday tasting platter The hotel staff were all really friendly and looked after us really well! Amazing place, I would come back again.

The hotel is in the main place, so easy to find it. The views from the hotel is amazing and great. Ceiling is not finished and will show the roof. Light setting needs to be adjusted or the control to adjust it should be closer to the bed. Also, the hot water from shower cannot be direct, it goes from cold side to hot side (but it would be nice if we have one side cold and the other side hot). The coffee and tea options are so good. Huge TV and a music set are amazing!

Booked this hotel last minute and wasn’t sure what to expect. After staying 2 nights I was thrilled with this place. Rooms are nice, staff is friendly/helpful/attentive, location is perfect, and they don’t even price gouge you at the in room minibar. We will definitely stay here everytime we visit Chicago.

Rooftop bar is pretty cool. Busy but not jammed. The hotel is beautiful, all aspects. The desk associate I dealt with was great; very friendly and very accommodating. It was a great experience staying at this hotel. I stayed at two different Hyatts and a few others on this long trip to Chicago, and the Dana was the best by far. Would love to stay here again!

We spent our honeymoon here in 2009. Floor to ceiling windows on 2 walls. Absolutely amazing views. There are shades and blackout curtains on the windows, too. Wonderful staff. Great concierge that helped us find our way anywhere in the city. The Red Line is a short walk away and will take you up and downtown. So incredible! ❤

This place was amazing! The showers were absolutely divine (see pictures). Our room had two balconies and if you're over 21 you can get access to the roof where they have a couple of bars and great views of the city. The hotel is conveniently located by many big Chicago attractions, including Giordano's deep dish pizza and Millennium Park.

10 minutes walk from downtown Chicago, perfect if you want to visit on foot.

Lovely hotel, starting to show it's age in a few places, that could use a touch up. The people are fantastic, from the doorman to the room service staff. Great location. Had an issue with no hot water for parts of our stay. They could have told us what was going on rather than us guessing. But other than that, lovely stay, lovely room.

Great hotel. The room was very nice and had a good view. Concierge was helpful. I wasn't a fan of the restaurant on the hotel.

Awesome stay here. Rooms are on the smaller side but very nice. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely visit again. Right in the middle of everything downtown.

The view was great and I think that's what Dana Hotel charges it's guests for. The staff was very friendly and the beds were very comfortable. I loved the floor to ceiling windows and the rainfall shower. Location is awesome! It's so close to everything. The complimentary soaps are great for people with sensitive skin & they're cruelty free! If you order room service, order from the restaurant right across the street (starts with a "B"). Their chicken sandwich was awesome and well seasoned! Oh and if you get up early enough, get a donut from the hotel-they're really yummy :) Some things I didn't like: the room was very small and the ceiling wasn't even painted-it was just concrete. I've stayed in much nicer hotels and had bigger rooms. Upon checkout, I realized I wasn't credited for the things I was promised (breakfast vouchers and $25 room credit) so it took a little longer than I would have wanted. The lady at the desk was very friendly and fixed it though. Parking is expensive! Valet only and no public parking. The food wasn't that great-it was over seasoned.

Unfortunately some noisy but nice rooms with great views of the city. Poorly insulated windows. Free W-LAN, well-stocked mini-bar and food around the clock. Well-functioning but noisy (! ) Air conditioning/heating. Room service could be better. Nice rooftop bar with fine drinks. Friendly staff. Very good location.

Enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very nice. Location is a 5 plus stars. First day a few problems that I had to complain about. After freaking out on the front desk staff, they fixed everything going forward and comped us, but with stuff we never used Oh, well. It's the thought that counts. Would go again anytime.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable and eager. Looking forward to staying here again. Dana, at the Dana spa, was phenomenal! From the facial service itself, to the steam and relaxation room. It was perfection.

Upon check-in there was a bit of confusion but it was all settled. We stayed the whole weekend. Our view from the room was gorgeous. Room was so amazing. While checking out guest services/ Romeo made sure he made up for the hard time we had in beginning. Very nice man! Makes you feel at home and has wonderful sense of humor. When we come to Chicago for another hockey game we most def stay here!

Staff are super friendly, rooms are nice. Hardwood floors, beautiful shower, crazy-comfy bed. I ordered some things from Amazon, and they delivered them to my room. Also, if you're a fan of fantastic, inventive cocktails… You'd seek out the bars here. Seriously good, perhaps amazing. I didn't try the seafood restaurant on the ground floor — but I imagine it's inventive and delicious like the cocktails. I'd give them 5 stars except that if you're not eating seafood you'd rather not smell it thriughtout the lobby. I'm sure that's just me. You would probably love it. Also, if I give this place only four stars there's a better chance I'll get a room next time I'm in Chicago.

It was a really nice place. The room was modern and clean, both aesthetically and literally. I loved the barn door for the restroom and the walk in shower. The only problems were that the door didn't actually close and would slide open. The other problem was that we ordered food using the in room iPad and then after an hour of wait I called room service to find out room service was not available. Overall though I really enjoyed the hotel. I would definitely want to stay here again despite the the small setbacks I've encountered.

Very good hotel, the price is somewhat high but well worth it, the corner King Room is excellent and you can ask reception to give you a high floor to have a good view. The bar on the 26th floor is very good with exquisite drinks. 100% recommended.

Seemed like a nice boutique hotel at first. Room was dirty. Requested to be on same floor as a friend and was told they had us down for it. Arrived there and wasn't the case. Would rather stay somewhere else but for the Priceline price we got it was a good deal for the location. The bellman was great.

My husband and I stayed at Dana hotel and spa overnight because his company's Christmas party was nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not take advantage of the spa services, but the room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very quiet for being in Chicago. In the morning we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. They did a great job catering to my dietary restrictions (I have Celiac's, so I am very paranoid about cross contamination in restaurants). Overall, the stay was nice, and it was so convenient not needing to worry about where to find breakfast the next day.

Excellent relaxed retreat with a perfect location. Walking distance from everything downtown while still being a personal oasis front the hustle and bustle. The restaurant and bars are excellent places to hangout and the rooms are superb (very impressed by the yoga mats and wine selection in the room). Plus, as a tall guy (6’4) having a shower that I could stand up underneath was awesome, beautiful shower.

Had an amazing weekend here. Between the restaurant, rooftop bar, hotel bar, and spa you could spend an amazing weekend without even leaving the hotel. It's located convenient to so much that the City has to offer. The rooms are amazing, especially the beds and bathrooms. You feel like you are staying in a spa all weekend. Make sure to get the bright eye treatment in the spa, you will not be disappointed!

Always come here for a few nights out on the weekend. Love the corner rooms specifically with the floor to ceiling windows. Bed is amazing to sleep in and the rain shower in the morning is an awesome start to the day. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I've never had any cause to complain while staying here.

Rooms were perfect for a romantic getaway. Good location and easy to get to with a valet parking or a parking garage just a block away.

I may have gotten an unusually good deal but best bang for buck if any hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff was great.

Our stay at the hotel was great. The room was nice, and the corner view was great. Hotel staff were all very helpful and courteous.

We stay here for a weekend retreat. We live the restaurants in the area and the hotel spa is quite nice. The staff is incredible, they remember us even though we visit one weekend a month. The service excellent, accommodations are modern elegant and location is ideal! Highly recommend!

Hotel is awesome. Hip and cool. Rooms are excellent. Except the cellings. The ceiling is cement. Make for a weird look. The room is gorgeous but you look up and cement with stains like cement has. And because it is cement. So much noise carries from other room like toilet flushing etc.

I have stayed here three times now: 2009, 2010, and, most recently, December 2016. Usually, I've gotten a free upgrade to a spacious, breath-taking corner room. The restaurant, which I believe is under renovation, serves up amazing tapas, especially Asian. And you're across the street from another great restaurant, Bijan's Bistro, which is open till 3am. Book it and don't look back.

The dana hotel is located near the loop in Chicago on North state street. The hotel is awesome. The decor in the room, wood floors, and wonderful beds make me want to come back. And the view when you visit the 26th floor at the apogee lounge is awesome. Everyone has been awesome. I can't wait to come back.

Very cool place, with nice rooms, reasonable rates on room service, a great in room wine selection and a good view. My only gripe is that the club can be heard a bit too loudly from some of the bedrooms.

I decided to skip Christmas this year and the maddening family parties that I usually regret attending. So I found a corner suite available at Dana Hotel on Hotel Tonight and pulled the trigger to get some much needed R&R. Super comfy bed with a big TV. Also a great seating area with another TV. Two balconies with great downtown views, although quite windy. However the highlight was a shower that was bigger than my first apartment. A giant rainfall soaking head above with several side jets. I could've spent hours in here if my skin didn't prune. I also made my way to the rooftop bar, Vertigo Sky, for a cocktail by their outdoor fire pits. Very cool.

My sig other and I stayed for one night and got a couples massage at the spa. The spa services were nice. We enjoyed the massages. The spa facilties were nice … even we though we were being led out a window! The hotel room was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful especially TJ who worked the front door. The room itself had a bare concrete ceiling, which looked cool at first, but waking up and staring at a conrete ceiling reminded me of my days in prison. I would consider staying there again.

While I did enjoy the view, the room comforts, and the staff (especially the valet and the bartenders at the Vertigo) the construction from the floor above me and the constant horns blowing from the street below made it near impossible to rest during the day. I would highly recommend a room around the middle of the floors (8-18) ending in an odd number. (Away from State St. ) Remember, the higher floor you are on, the louder the fire engines sound… But overall it was a pleasant stay. Great beds, and nice showers and if your lucky, that blonde will still be standing nude in her living room showing off at the condo across the street. Lol.

The hotel is walking distance from the best parts of Chicago and only a short drive from everywhere else of significance. The rooms are very fairly priced; I recommend the tranquility suite. Also, the staff is very cordial and of the highest integrity. I accidentally left valuables in the room safe, and they returned them to me within 24 hours. A refreshing, pleasant surprise. This place is my go-to hotel in Chicago.
