Great place to hold a venue beautiful place
Didn’t stay but was there for a two day event wish I knew how nice I would’ve stayed in a heartbeat.

Went the day after Christmas with the family. Hotel was super. ICE was fabulous… so much to do. National Harbor a great place. Restaurants, shopping, the waterfront.

It was absolutely Awesome amazing time beautiful ambiance. Excellent food the amenities are excellent. Had a good time next time hopefully we can spend a little longer and do some sightseeing. — с Keith Brown.

Been here for a couple of Modelling events, and had a great time. The best word to explain this place is "Classy". Also it could prove to be a great place for family getaways as well.

Beautiful setting on the Potomac with great collection of shops and restaurants right outside the hotel. Easy access to the MGM Resort and Tanger Outlets as well.

Beautiful facility. Superb service. Limited number of restaurants on site but several within walking distance. Excellent meeting space.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a hotel! 2 of our bags came up missing & they have done nothing to rectify the situation. They have been rude, dismissive, & could really care less. Extremely disappointing. Staff was careless, dishonest, & disorganized. Come on Marriott, you are better than this! Shame on you for allowing your staff to treat people the way that they did & for basically sending a message to your employees that theft if OK.

Kyle at the front desk on Tuesday/ Wednesday early morning around 1am was very helpful and went beyond his way in helping me with my checkin. There was a girl who couldn't be bothered and didnt help at all. She gave me the wrong info walked away and then started playing cards when all I wanted to do was checkin and go to sleep for my class at 8am in the convention center. We drove for 4 hrs and just wanted to sleep. Kyle deserves a pat on the back.

Their big sports bar is one of the worst things I have ever been in. Give you a seating area that makes the server mad so we have a large group that is going to the bar themselves for food and drinks. They won’t even come over to clean the tables. Football Sunday and they really don’t care because they are just riding out the masses of people that get stuck coming to this hotel.

This Gaylord resort just like most of them was amazing! The spacious yet elaborate decor is beautiful. The rooms could have been larger but the excellent view from the balcony more than made up for it. Most importantly the resort was very well kept and clean! There was a Starbucks on site and a restaurant for casual dining as well. A great place to stay with numerous things to do as its at the center of the harbor.

Really enjoyed my stay while at the Prosperity Summit. The staff were exceptionally friendly and took care of everything I needed. The room was great: comfy bed and large desk to work at. The room service was tasty and fast, I recommend the Southwest bowl with chicken! Watch out for the bed posts, they sit low to the ground and can easily catch your knee.

The Gaylord never fails me. I love this hotel the only downside I had was not getting the atrium room. The room was still awesome it just did not have a good view of anything just a plan Jane courtyard. Overall my stay was great and the club inside is a great convenience after a full day you still have an option where you don't have to leave out. The dress code there is relaxed the music is good. I highly recommend at least staying there once you'll probably continue to go back. The only thing that could make it better is a Continental breakfast but the hotel size might prevent that.

Beautiful hotel! Great location on the harbor and near casino. At first the place looks hard to navigate. However you get used to it quickly. They also have an app to help with navigation. The facilities are made for conferences! I believe they have over 2000 rooms. Hotel is also 10 to 15 min from Regan Airport. Dulles is much farther away.

I love this hotel! I went with my family and we had the best time. The sports bar, lobby lounge and breakfast buffet had delicious food and drinks. The hotel entertained us with an evening light show visible from our Atrium View room and we attended a Silent Disco at the Lobby Lounge which was so much fun for me, my family and the other guests that attended also. Also there is so much to do outside of the hotel and everything is close by. Can’t wait to come back and visit again.

Very large medium high end resort / conference center. If wanted you can moderately keep entertained without even leaving given the small shops, restaurants, and coffee shop. There is also a shopping center right outside the main entrance with a few stores, bars, etc. The steakhouse is absolutely amazing and a must try. Overall all its a solid mid-high end standard conference / resort. I imagine something like the various resorts in the Catskills when they still had that new resort smell.

Our stay was memorable because of manager Prestina Humphrey. She went above and beyond ensuring we truly enjoyed our VIP experience. She sets the bar HIGH for customer service. Give that woman a raise! Thank you.

Had to wait over an hour and a half past the 4pm check in time to get my room. The staff explained nothing about parking or anything else. Needed the toilet plunged at 1030 at night and not a single person could be reached on the phone no matter what button you pressed you just got music after 15 minuets of that my husband had to go down to the front desk to talk to someone. The lobby bar and rooftop bar were great the food at the sports grill was just ok.

Every time my family and I stay here, the rooms are always clean, the staff are courteous and helpful and just yesterday, we had more to do. Love the convenience of being right by the harbor as well.

Beautiful place and great staff!

They have a line called “consider it done. ” That’s a catchy name, and that wasn’t at all my experience! I was there 3 nights, and I requested a clock to be put in my room 3 times… but no such luck. A clock… a simple request. Now I have a suggestion for the Gaylord’s marketing department; change the name to “ask all you want… you’re fooling yourself if you think you’re going to get it! ” For the amount of money I paid to sleep in a room with filthy carpeting, you think I could get a clock. I know it sounds simple… and it should have been.

My wife’s company paid for our room. If I were to pay for a room there is no way, in my opinion, that the prices at this resort are in line with the amenities. Other than the prices the staff is friendly and the hotel is very nice.

My sister's and I took my Mom here for her birthday. We had a great time. We checked in and then took a bus to MGM casino which was free from the hotel. We came back for dinner at the Gaylord and ate at the sports bar. We had the loaded nachos which were fabulous. After we ate we walked around outside and sat by the water. It was very quiet and peaceful. At 8 that night we were guests to a live band and laser show in the atrium. It was great. We were all very impressed with the hotel overall and would definitely do It again. All staff went above and beyond to meet our needs.

The Gaylord is a beautiful hotel. The indoor atrium had lovely businesses for getting a drink, breakfast, or some coffee, and everything is very good. The rooms are pleasant, and some of them have a great view of the river or atrium. Mine, unfortunately, had a rather unimpressive view of a roof with some general growing on top. The location had multiple great restaurants and attractions within walking distance, and a pleasant waterfront to walk along in the evening (though the water was muddy and not terribly attractive this trip). It is, of course, quite and expensive hotel, but if you feel like splurging on a nice room (or are here for a conference in the company dime) it's a great place to stay.

I been there twice for a Marine Corps Ball, each time. Excellent place. Beautiful and great front desk service. The nightclub in the top roof is very chic. Loved it!

We only stayed here because MGM cost too much, but you get what you pay for… Or sometimes less. First, this hotel is massive and not designed well so unless you're in an Atrium do you may have a very long walk. The rooms were nothing special, clean and we'll appointed, but with walls so thin we could hear both sides of our neighbor's phone conversation. Check in was backed up and front desk not particularly friendly when we got there. The pool us indoor only and was packed with kids. They looked like they were having a blast, but it was not an adult-friendly space. Outdoors by the pool was better, but neither of the tiny hot tubs was working. For the money, next time we'll probably just stay at the Hampton Inn nearby or one of the other hotels in the area. I expected more from the Gaylord.

Very unique atrium/courtyard. Very impressive place to see. We didn't stay here just walked through on a visit. An oasis from the hustle and bustle of the area. Worth a visit, you don't see places like this that are indoors very often. I'm sure everything is expensive but it doesn't cost anything to walk around and explore.

This is a beautiful place. I'm not sure but I believe all the rooms have a balcony overlooking the atrium and the Potomac which is just magnificent. I was sure to spend some time sitting on the balcony, sipping coffee, doing a crossword, and people watching. There is so much going on. I was fascinated by how many birds live inside the building but there are plenty of trees, foliage, and nesting areas. I think they are some kind of wren protected from the larger predatory birds gliding around just outside. Also a great place to watch the planes come into the airport. It's a great way to have the comfort of the inside while feeling like you are outside. And if you should venture outside, the waterfront and shopping is just a short walk right outside the door!

The Gaylord is a unique resort. It has plenty of space for conferences, 19 floors with room, a roof top lounge, it's only little village with stores, an arcade for the kids, plus the pool and workout room. I like that during winter that do a whole ice sculpture attraction with a different theme every year. It even snows inside the hotel during the winter. The Gaylord is located at the national harbor which has restaurants and attractions and a short walk from the MGM Casino. Whether it's business or pleasure you can't go wrong stay there.

Pricing for a room was reasonable… But it was under a conference rate. The room was very clean and all the normal amenities we're provided. Staff that I interacted with we're pleasant. The hotel is beautiful with gorgeous sights. There are a few food options within the hotel, but several options for different types within very short walking distance.

This is a gorgeous hotel and resort! It's clean, modern and impressive. The rooms are spacious, with double sinks in the bathroom. It appears that all rooms have a view of the bridge and harbor. There are multiple bars, restaurants and many shops. Also a Spa and gym, neither of which I visited. Really, this place is a nice as any 5-Star Resort. We dined at the Steakhouse and both the food and service was excellent. We had lunch twice at the Sports Bar and same experience, food and service both outstanding.

An amazing property with atrium views overlooking the Potomac River. Kyle greeted us when we checked in and was very helpful in pointed out all of the amenities the hotel had to offer. The hotel is surrounded by upscale shopping and fantastic restaurants. The area is clean, safe and easy to walk around. We saw a fireworks display in front of the hotel music performances in the town and several weddings. Our room was huge and the views of the river and D. C. Were breathtaking.

Was here for a company Christmas party. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly from the cost check to the main dining experience. The drinks both mixed and not alcoholic were made to order and perfected. The food was great tasting and we'll presented. The atmosphere was wonderful as well. The rooms that were rented were well decorated and well prepared. From white table clothes, polished silverware, name tags, to attention to small details such as glitter, candles and fresh flowers. The view from here from rooms and patio were breathtaking. Can't wait to go back! Thank you for making it a wonderful experience and a memorable company Christmas party 2017!

Great establishment for business events as well as family interaction.

The Gaylord is visually stunning. It is large, but also quite beautiful inside and out and surrounded by National Harbor which is full of a plethora of stores, restaurants both fast-casual and formal dining, Niche markets and beautiful views. The Gaylord is definitely a high quality Hotel and Convention Center and worth staying if you are planning on visiting the Washington DC metropolitan area. Additionally the staff is very knowledgeable and patient, courteous, and professional and the rooms are manicured and very well kept. Admittedly though, they are on the pricier side. But you get what you pay for.

Overall, it's a nice hotel. Easy to navigate and the large, open area in the center makes you feel like you are outside, which is nice. Oddly, there are very poor breakfast options — there is one restaurant that only offers an expensive buffet, a small do-it-all convenience store, and an awful coffee shop. The breakfast sandwich I got from there was $8 and relatively disturbing to look at. If they added a better breakfast option, this would be a great place to attend a conference or stay while visiting. Nice fitness area with an indoor pool and and whirl pool. Rooms are relatively modern.

Full disclosure: I was there as part of a convention and did not have to pay for my room. That being said, the hotel itself is beautiful. They put a lot of care and detail into their attention to detail — especially at Christmas time. The hotel itself is within walking distance to an outdoor shopping area with lots of restaurants and cool stores. They are also a pickup spot for the "moonlight monument" tour, which made it super easy to see the best of Washington D. C. The only downside is the food in the hotel itself is really overpriced for what you get and not really that tasty. It's much cheaper and tastier to get something delivered from Uber Eats.

I really enjoyed my time here. The place allowed my family to stay on the grounds and not have to go anywhere else. The ice show was amazing. When they say dress for the occasion you definitely need to put on your layers, and put on the coat that they supply. It was below freezing for the amazing sculptures. I saw people not watching their children who were touching and trying to taste the art.

An amazing place to visit and stay. I went for the CADCA convention and when I got there, all of the staff were nice and courteous. Getting a room is easy and the establishment is kept clean. One of the floors has a small town with animals, trees, restaurants, and small shops to visit. I didn't need to leave the hotel to get a good breakfast and I loved that. Amazing place and would recommend 100%.

In the Christmas season everything was extraordinarily decorated and you could walk in the avenues.
Very well maintained the resort, there are water streams and manicured gardens in the smallest details.

This place is lovely. I booked a room for my birthday March 3rd just to experience the Pose Lounge and it was beautiful. I had an Atrium Room and the feel of being able to go out on the balcony and still be inside the property was beautiful and quiet other than me and my cousin laughing like crazy. The DJ was on point and the Lounge itself was great with a view across the river. They do not have food in the lounge, only drinks but there are restaurants on the property. The prices are a little bit up there but I will most definitely stay here again but the next time I will spend the night.

This is one of the most beautiful designed hotels I have seen. I have been here for special events in winter and spring and both times have their own charm. The inside of the hotel has a little village with stores and restaurants that are inside small houses. The court yard It self has a large glass roof and glass wall so you feel as though you are outside. The hotel rooms have balconies that face inside to this lovely court yard. It is just a sight to see and even more so in the winter when they decorate the village for Christmas.

Very beautiful place. I went on a conference during the Christmas time and the entire hotel was decked out and made me feel very content and happy. The little village of shops made me feel like I was in a Santa movie. The service and rooms are very good. Highly recommend. May be a little expensive but definitely worth the trip.

My husband and I have stayed here several times. Such a beautiful place. Banquets, charity events, weddings and other celebrations can be held in their eloquent ballrooms. They offer valet parking as well as self parking. You'll also be able to take a free shuttle to the National Harbor casino. The staff are very polite and friendly and so are fellow guests. The rooms are wonderful. Very comfortable beds with great views. You will be in awe at the beautiful decor throughout the establishment. Great complimentary breakfast. Will definitely be back!

Lovely place, so much more than a "Hotel". Beautiful indoor atrium. Several inside restaurants and convenience shops with top notch food an drinks. The lobby bar is lovely. All staff in the resort go above and beyond to ensure you're happy & satisfied. Couldn't be happier with this "resort hotel". Atrium has many shops for almost everything and has running streams, ponds and fountains. It is most lovely during Christmas time, with indoor decorations with hourly lively laser & fountain shows with a beautiful indoor glass Christmas tree featured in the show. I highly recommend it!

Premium lodging and hospitality services. Near Alexandria where you eat Wonders.

I spent to weekend there on a retreat and had the best time. The hotel is located near DC in MD. The hotel room was spacious with the custom amenities that most modern hotels carry. Our room was clean, came with basic TV, free wireless high-speed internet, and a great view of the harbor looking into Alexandria, VA. The restaurant has shopping, restaurants, entertainment, year round pool, Jacuzzi, and great staff. I even visited the nightclub for a bit. The club was in the top level and was a sprawling space with a great night view. The music was a contemporary mix of things. Near by you have a ton of restaurant and shopping. A shuttle can take you to the MGM casino and other locations. I had a great time and encourage others to stay there if they are going to be in the area.

This place is INCREDIBLE! Pictures of this place tells a good story, but being there is another story. My family and I never stayed there but man, from the Christmas spectacular show, to the shops and restaurants there, to the atrium thats really huge… if you like amazing views. Very festive during the holidays and crowded… and its right on the national harbor where there's many restaurants and other attractions. So, if crowds and traffic… AND the fact that there's a casino nearby (MGM) … if these things don't bother you then the Gaylord National Harbor Hotel is a nice place to check out.

I recently went to ICE at Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor. It was amazing! The exhibit itself was very nice, beautifully put together and so festive. All the staff members were very nice. The area is great as well. Lots of great shops and restaurants. The hotels were beautifully decorated for the holidays and the dinner we had at Succotash was DELICIOUS! We visit every year for the holidays and it never disappoints.

Incredible resort hotel. We had a company event at the resort and it went off very nicely. The holiday light show is impressive. Food is very good. There is also a lot do to at National Harbor. Only warning is that this place is big, so you may have a lot of walking.

Staying as a guest during a convention. I haven't had much of a chance to explore the area around the hotel, though from the window it seems all new. The room is suitable, the convention space is very large, the meeting rooms on the side of the convention space are also very nice. Mostly the front desk workers have been very friendly and accommodating with any questions I have had. The Atrium and bar area has restaurants and a very engaging atmosphere. It's a nice place.

The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center Hotel and conference Room offers an unforgettable experience for conferences and other professional events. The property is large enough to accommodate several simultaneous conferences. My group was about 1, 300 people, and there were also other groups in Conference, and I still never felt cramped or obscured. The service and attention to the customer is unsurpassed. Workers work diligently and are extremely friendly. Recommended. Bechego.

Beautiful and grand facilities. Awesome view of the Potomac River and National Harbor area. Great waterfront area, shops and restaurants in the National Harbor complex that are walkable. Staff wasn't especially friendly and food was OK at the on-site restaurants. Parking on site is $12 per hour! Park across the street at the public garage for $6/hr, Max $18/day.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. You could never leave the premise and still have plenty to do. The restaurants were good and there was a variety. Plus, the place is beautiful and seems brand new. I really only had two complaints. First, the place is huge. It seemed to take forever to walk to our room. I got off the elevator and it seemed like I walked for ages before I reached the end of the hall where our room was located. I don't mind walking, but this was crazy. Really not a big deal, but I wish I grabbed a luggage cart when we checked in. Second, there is a lobby bar that has a beautiful view of the atrium. We went at Happy Hour and it was madness. There were only two bartenders working and it seemed like half the hotel was having a drink. As you can imagine, service was terrible and the bartenders were not very accommodating or polite. But, what do you expect when they were clearly overwhelmed and overworked. I feel the hotel could have done better in this respect. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and would stay again.

The convention center itself was really impressive and worth visiting for a walk around. I went with a pair of friends who told me that the Christmas decorations are amazing as well. I would definitely visit again but I would go out of my way to not have to buy anything within the center itself because they do serious up charging. It is not a cheap area but they (the Starbucks in particular) somehow take that even further.

Went for National Convention. Rooms are mice and spacious. Beautiful building with relaxed atmosphere Indoor pool and gym are a nice plus. Comfy beds, pillows are a bit soft. All the staff were very courteous. Difficulty with room key working for parking garage. Light and water show at 9pm. Located inside National Harbor which has become a neighbor onto itself. You can find anything you need… for an up price.

This is the BEST hotel EVER! We celebrated our 10 year anniversary in the national harbor and im glad we chose this location. Everyone we came in contact with was super helpful and friendly. My husband and I were treated with first class service! they have trained their staff very well the hotel room was clean and comfy. This hotel is very big with lots of things to do. We fell in love with the rooftop area we were able to relax have some drinks, enjoy some good music and walk right back to our suite! I would definitely recommend this for everyone! KUDOS Gaylord keep up the good work!

I attended our yearly convention here. Beautiful place. The most impressive part was when I was waiting on a class to start I really needed a cup of black coffee. I asked the gentleman that worked here if they had coffee in the room and he said no but he would be happy to get me a cup from in back. Now that is going above and beyond. Very impressed with the service here.

I stayed at Gaylord National Resort in August fora convention. I needed a screw for my flag pole topper. I asked the front desk for assistance and Tracie from maintenance was called. She listened carefully to my request and asked to take the part needing the screw so she would get the correct size. She took my room number and phone number. In a short time she was back with two choices. She even walked with me to another part of the convention center with a screw driver in case it was needed. She was extremely helpful and pleasant. It made what could have been a very frustrating situation go very smoothly.

Wonderful room. Great view. Close to MGM casino. Staff was helpful & attentive. We celebrated our 21st anniversary at gaylord national resort. Will never forget what a great time we had.

My stay was for a work conference. The staff was very professional and helpful. I had a nice view of the Potomac and the Capital Wheel from my room. It's a great place to go for a couples weekend. If you bring the family the laser show in the Atrium is fun for the kids.

This is a HUGE place. We had a very nice conference here. The rooms were nice and clean. Valet recovery can take up to 20-minutes, so call ahead. I would recommend and stay again. Very close to the water with nice walking available.

Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center has to be by far the best convention center on the eastern seaboard of the United States of America. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking or just thinking of having some sort of convention. The staff are amazing the grounds are beautiful and we'll maintained. I recommend the facility to friends and family whenever they mention going to the DC metropolitan area. I tell everyone I know not only is it a great hotel it has great dining options to go with the outstanding staff of the resort.

Everyone who works there is very nice and professional. I attended Magfest, and despite the somewhat esoteric crowd, hotel staff had only positive things to say. Will definitely stay there again next Magfest.

I attended my first year at the Katsucon convention at this beautiful convention center called the Gaylord National Resort and even though I have lived in Maryland my whole life, I have never been to this area and I was shocked when I arrived because of how beautiful everything looked! I have seen online pictures but they do not do justice as to how beautiful the outside looks from the hotel and shopping scenery and how the inside looks through the resort and indoor garden area. :D The surrounding area was very kind and respectful, I loved everything about it. I really hope Katsucon will stay at this same convention center for many years to come (even though there were some disrespectful convention goers that did not treat the hotel to their standards, I immediately loved it.

Great hotel and convention center. The staff is very friendly and provide great service. Lots of restaurants to eat at around the hotel all within walking distance for a variety of taste buds. The indoor Nationals sports restaurant has a good menu with something for everyone in the family. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is fantastic, with excellent accommodations. Great convention center space. The location is problematic if you plan to go elsewhere; no public transit in the area, all the shops and restaurants are costly, and parking is ridiculously expensive. Not quite as terrible if you intend to stay local for a convention, though don't expect to eat cheap. The drive to D. C. Isn't horrible, fifteen minutes to downtown without traffic — but it's D. C. So realize there WILL be traffic.

Just called their main operator trying to get in touch with a department. They asked me my name and then behaved like a gate keeper. Didn't Marriott take Gaylord over? They should not be doing that.

A pleasurable experience during my stay at a healthcare conference. Not close to a ONE star resort. I got lost between floors 40 & 41; the wonderful staff person helped me figure out the maze. Very friendly and cared about guests needs. The hotel currently has 4 conventions here and everything appears to be going well. I wi come back with the family!

I wish there were negative stars to describe my horrible experience at what is supposed to be a "5 STAR" resort. I knew things were going to be bad when I got to my room at 4:00 p. M. And there was a room service tray with dishes and uneaten food that looked like it had been there since the day before. Several of the hotel staff had NO knowledge of what businesses are within the resort when asked and one lady who worked in the Vera Bradley store got very agitated when I asked her about a particular restaurant. Later in the evening, my party and I went to "Pose" Bar/Lounge, to dance and enjoy the view from the top when we were caught in the middle of a brawl on the inside and attacked by a sea of spiders on the outside. By this time, we had enough and decided to retire. On our way back to our room, we walked passed the front desk and concierge where there was not ONE staff. Needless to say when we got to our room, the tray with the uneaten food was still outside of our door at 2:30 a. M. Once in the room, we decided we wanted something to snack on only to discover that room service ended at 2:00 a. M. REALLY, and this is a "5 STAR" Resort and we couldn't get a sandwich and some chips. The saga continues. We decided to go to the "ONE AND ONLY" vending machine that had snacks to discover that it wouldn't take our dollar bills or credit card and ALL the money change machines were out of change.

Location is verymuch comfortable, and parking area is nice … wide and ground. And we can see natural scene of Potomac river, and air is very fresh. We like gaylord national hotel.

This is a great center with a huge cavernous space that despite its size still remains welcoming and inviting. The hotel does a great job in maintaining the site and providing top notch options for eating or souvenir shopping. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.

This was our first time staying here. However my mother had stayed at the Gaylord in TN so she was thinking this one would be just as great as that one, especially considering the cost of the stay. It was not, we were very disappointed that this was not evn comparable to the other Gaylord resort, the photos on the website for this location are very misleading, the 3rd party vendors such as the express transportation and the valet service were horrible, if we were ever to return to DC we will not being staying at the Gaylord bc it was NOT worth the money especially with all the unchapperoned teenagers that were there for a conference. Running up and down the halls all hrs of rhethe night waking us up, I had called the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do. Horrible all the way around.

Wonderful hotel and conference center! I've attended over a dozen overnight company events here, stayed the night many times as a consumer and have been to the ICE show a few times. Great place to stay! Awesome roof top bar that you can see the city lights from, beautiful views of the water from the rooms. Little on the pricier side but well worth it.

I didn't stay there but the convention center was great. Very clean and nice inside view from the top floor was amazing.

Excellent Hotel, a little isolated from DC, but very good facilities. The only thing I did not like, is that it has very bad Wi-Fi.

The hotel was amazing, the staff were very accommodating for the large amount of people there (for the most recent anime convention, Katsucon), and the room was pristine, etc etc. My only problem was that the housekeeping staff had entered our room early (before the 11 o'clock check out) while we were putting things in the car, even with the do-not-disturb sign on the door. I had left a part of my costume in the room, intending to go back to get it after leaving stuff at the car, but I found that they had moved it to the hall because they "thought it was trash". This prop was very large, and very FRAGILE, so naturally I didn't like it being moved. Luckily it was not broken, and I didn't expect the housekeeping staff to realize just how upset I was. Either way, if you plan to stay here, go for it. Just don't bring convention props without taking them everywhere with you.

Attended conventions here for a few years. Usually they up staff for the conventions, which is awesome and the convention and public space is gorgeous. I HATE staying here. The towels are rough, the pillows are flat, water pressure sucks, and there is nothing special about the rooms beyond the exuberant pricing. If you have no problem staying outside the convention hotel, try one of the two hotels across the street. Both have free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, nicer rooms, and parking is several dollars cheaper (and typically the rooms are cheaper! ).

The experience was good, and the building is beautiful. They, however, try to save money on staff. It doesn't sound too bad now when you are reading this review, but believe me, you'll feel horrible, when you see the trash next to your door all night and someone's vomit in the hallway, things won't seem too pleasant anymore. Right now I am in the process of trying to retrieve my lost items, which I left in the drawer (I know, I know, never do that, NEVER do that, but I did. I swear, never again). Anyways, it's been over a week, still nothing. I called lost and found department on Monday, they said that they only have two people working, and there is a lot of work to be done. They promised to call back. Nothing. So I waited, called back later, they told me that there was still nothing in the system. They just told me to wait. When I asked for how long they kept the forgotten items, they told me that they kept them for a month. If they continue working in this pace, my room won't even get checked in a month (and I really liked that sweater). When I mentioned an iPhone charger, I've been told that I probably won't get it back at all, because things like this are rarely returned to the rightful owners. I asked for a manager today, she told me she could't find anything, said that I should have asked for a manager earlier. I guess I wrongfully expected the lost and found department to do their jobs.

My wife and I went for our first anniversary it was a wonderful stay the staff was really nice and helpful, the views were gorgeous inside and out. The fountain show was a nice added touch I would definitely come here again.

We had a great night night at the gaylord hotel for new years and saw some great live music. Then when we went to leave the coat check took your ticket and wouldn't give you your coat unless you paid a ridiculous bribe. Security decided to do nothing about it but hold up everyone. We had a cab wait for an hour and a half while one of the poor girls in our group tried to get her coat without paying a bribe.

This is a great family friendly get — away. The lights and ICE exhibit are spectacular! We purchased the ICE package and stayed at the resort overnight. This was a great deal and included unlimited access to ICE. We enjoyed walking through the Capital Harbor at night and riding the Capital Wheel. I would recommend this for families with children over 5 years old.
