Every room is a suite and they are big. They come with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Free hot breakfast every morning is wonderful. I will definitely be back again and would recommend to anyone!

The rooms were spacious and the staff, for the most part, was friendly. Some of the furnishings need upgrading, but I was comfortable.

They have wonderful staff who make you feel very welcome!

We choose a large 2 bed room as we where going to be in DC for a week. I'm not even sure where to start but the room was disgusting and we left soon after checking in this room should not be offered to anyone until it has seen a paint brush and a good clean the carpet was disgusting, food in the stove the wardrobe door was smashed food and scuffs on the walls and window blinds the ac unit was thick dust the bed skirt had urine on it. Worst residence in I've ever seen Residence Inn you should be ashamed and embarrassed to think the room was acceptable.

Great place to stay near University of MD College Park.

I strongly recommend Residence Inn by Marriott Greenbelt. Rooms are very spacious. The kitchen is almost as big as the one at home with a big fridge, a stove, a microwave, a coffee machine and dishwasher. Life can't be better than that. The breakfast is very delicious and versatile from light meal to bread and cereals. Customer service is.
I'll definitely come back.

Amazing rooms. Everything was really clean. We were in unplanned trip to D. C and couldn't find any hotels with available rooms until we came to this one. We were here on spring break, worst time to go on vacation without reservations. We only spent one night. We got a suite, two bedrooms with a full bathroom each one, a kitchen and a livingroom with a sofa bed. The beds were really comfortable.

I loved my stay here! The rooms were nice, the hotel was clean, and there was breakfast. I stayed in the suite with a king bed and it was so spacious. It was also extremely affordable. I would definitely go back!

I was very impressed n liked what I saw 2 the point that I'm gonna look them up 2 my reservation n plan me a night, 2 or 3 nights of relaxing n getting away 4 some me time. It's very nice a small tennis court, a seating area, patio n grill with a gated pool.

I can only comment on the employees as I was moved to Residence Inn's sister property next door. Both employees that I had contact with were helpful and pleasant. When we arrived, the employee at the front desk informed us that the room wasn't ready (we were close to an hour early for check in at 4pm, so I don't hold it against them for the room not being ready. ) I left my number with the desk so they could call when the room was ready. We had left the property and headed to Six Flags. Probably around 6-7ish I received a voice mail from another employee telling me that we were moved to the sister property next door. He offered to answer any questions I have and since the Courtyard doesn't include breakfast with their rooms and Residence does, I was told my group could come back to the Residence Inn the next morning and take advantage of their breakfast for free. Despite being moved, it was a pleasant experience and wasn't an inconvenience for us.

It began great! We were allowed an early check-in so that we could prepare for my son's Prom. As we were getting ready we noticed that the Air Conditioning was not working in the room and it was 89 degrees outside. I immediately contacted Guest Services and was sent a maintenance worker who was very rude stating that if there was more than 5 people in the room of course its not going to work. There was no air coming out of the vents at all. We had to go to Guest Services for a fan and was given a desk fan. Later we noticed that the ice maker wasnt making ice so we asked could we receive some ice. The same man came back to the room with an attitude and gave us the ice. I was very disappointed and hot for the night.

The entire staff was excellent from the moment I arrived… (3 hrs early)! They made me feel taken care of as they checked and found me a room immediately! Thanks for another great experience with RI!

I stayed here in January and it was horrible. During my 3 day stay the hot water stopped working (for 2 days), you could see into the hallway from my door because it was not properly closing, the heat stopped working (maintenance came but did not fix it), and I was picking up major clumps of dust from the floor and the counter tops. In addition they attempted to charge me for staying when my travel agency paid upfront and they did not process the fax. And if there needed to be anything else, they gave me a 1st floor room when I specifically requested not to be on the 1st floor. I have stayed here multiple times because I have business in the area and they have never been great but this time sealed the deal for me. I do not recommend staying here.

Nice clean hotel. Quiet. Very accommodating. There was some confusion with the rooms I reserved but the guy at the front desk managed it all and still gave me my original reservation rate. Thank you! My only wish is that they had bedbug proof mattress engagements. Not that there were any bedbugs. But just as a precaution. Cause all it takes is that one time.

Very nice — we stayed here when my wife was recovering from surgery. So helpful having the full size fridge and microwave to reheat meals. Plenty of parking and walking distance to TGIFridays. The breakfast was nice but arrive early as they start cleaning it up early…

Spent 2 Knights here on business. Hotel is showing signs of age but no major problems. Staff was great. Everything else very typical of a Residence Inn. I would return if I were in the area again.

This will be my new preferred hotel in the area. I'd stayed nearby regularly but with Residence Inn's larger rooms with fireplaces — plus breakfast included — I've been won over. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in. Definitely recommend.

Hotel is clean well located near the Greenbelt metro line. The staff and management are friendly. Shuttle is free to the Metro. The area is relatively safe all considering. I can recommend it.

Great rooms, great prices. Kitchen has full essentials, and Wi-Fi works just fine. Staff is lovely.

Loved the size of the 2br suite. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which is always appreciated. The room was clean and we'll stocked in the bathrooms and kitchen. My only issue was the buildings to the main from and rooms weren't connected. We brought in all of our bags from the car in the sleet and rain only to lug them back out to ride around the building.

This place needs a face lift. They " upgraded" my room because I am a Gold Marriott rewards member. The room was dated, discolored caulk in tub, shelf coming out of the wall in sink area, missing hardware on cabinets and the bedroom door would not close. My profile says high floor away from elevator. They gave us 1st floor next to elevator and and exit. (It was late and snowing didn't want to hassel with a change) I have had this reservation for weeks. It was very noisy until 3 am.

Close enough to DC at a very reasonable price! Staff are friendly, professional and go out of their way to make sure your stay is great! Will stay there again for sure!

Its just joke for this hotel to be rated 4 stars. The rooms are totally outdated, half of the amenities are not working, the toilets do not flush properly, the air-condition sounds like a huge compressor! Pretty bad experience staying there! Yes the manager on site Wendy was very nice and they have good free breakfast but almost all hotels around the area have nice breakfast.

Wonderful staff coupled with comfort and a feeling of being home away from home. Very nice!

We had to stay here for work for two nights. The staff was beyond helpful & friendly. The rooms are spacious with a full kitchen & comfortable furniture. The complimentary food &drinks in the evenings were great & the breakfasts had lots to choose from. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Best deal in town. Nice rooms, laundry on site, gym, pool, walking paths, food delivery, shuttle to work, everything you need-they are on top of it! Free hot breakfast and the manager, Wendy! Delightful host who makes you feel like you are at home. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I'm in town.

This particular Inn is undergoing cosmetic upgrading. The bright open lobby greets you with a very pleasant and friendly staff. Rooms are well appointed. On site is a gated pool area. Our room came with a working fireplace. Made the room more cozy at night. All in all a great Inn.

Room was great but have to give it one star because the night manager rude and obnoxious. Went to get a key from him around 1130pm and he was working on computer. I nicely asked for a key and put my drivers license on the counter for proof. He did not respond or even look up. I waited and said nothing and about a minute later with and attitude he remarks I am busy and told me to relax. I than said excuse me, I didn't not say or do anyrhing and I have just be standing here waiting for you to acknowledge me. That's when it got ugly, words were exchanged and he told me to get off the property and I told him to make me. He threatened to call the police and he started to dial, and I told him go ahead, I did nothing wrong and said to him what's your problem all I asked for was a key. He hung up the phone and made me a key, handed it to me and I walked away. I guess he hates his job or was having a bad night.

Super hotel. Lorrie at the front desk was efficient in getting our large party (6 rooms) checked in. She went above and beyond to change one of our rooms to accommodate our 89 year old mother's needs. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. Room was super clean and had all the amenities we needed. Good breakfast included in our rate.

Our stay was amazing. So comfortable and all the staff was wonderful, especially Lori and Wendy. I appreciated the free breakfast, always hot coffee in the lobby, free Wi-Fi, parking and many other amenities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Having the lifeguard at the pool was great and the basketball court for the kids was fun! Easy access to D. C. And all other access roads for the DMV area. You won't be disappointed!

Thank you to the General Manager, Ms. Wendy, Ms. MaryAnn, Ms. Lakeshia, Mr. George, Adrian and Ms. Lori. You provided a wonderful experience for my family and the staff was exceptional. Our kids loved the basketball courts as well. Even the life guard took the time to shoot hoops with us since no one was swimming (really cool guy). We also appreciate you accommodating almost 30 of us and ensuring that the hospitality was 5 stars. We even came back and stayed again 4 days later after returning from New York because the stay truly felt like a vacation. See you the next time around!

The rooms are really big, and the floorplans are spacious. Everything is clean, and neat. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great service, the hospitality room is a little on the small size but still nice. The staff is very helpful and they keep fresh coffee in the lobby.

Rooms are spacious, clean and the facilities are well kept. There is a kitchen in the rooms therefore, you can prepare your meals for your family if you need to. The hotel provides free breakfast with plenty to choose from, has a happy hour and provides free snacks, finger food and/or sandwiches depending on the day of the week. I am glad I choose this hotel next to the others two or three within walking distance and definitively will stay here again if I am detailed to work in this area.

The hotel is not really near anything (except for the TGIFridays across the street). There's also only one elevator but it's only 4 floors so it's not that bad. Decent pool and fitness options. Breakfast is average.

1. I called the night before my reservation to check in early and was told it'd be just fine. 2. I arrived at around noon to be told there were absolutely NO rooms ready and to try again at 2. 3. I came back at about 2:15 and was informed that the likelihood of even getting my room at the GUARANTEED check in at 4 was not likely. 4. I then asked about the Marriott Courtyard that is right next door, if I could change my reservation to that hotel and was told, rudely, that I would then be charged for both hotels because it was too late to cancel my current reservation. I have an event at 4, hence my request to check in early. If I had been informed an early check in was not available I would have adjusted my expectations. I have also tried contacting customer service by their online chat, an email, and a call — for this I left a voicemail after being om hold for 10 minutes. I am VERY displeased with the customer service I have received here. UPDATE — Keisha, who worked the night, was extremely kind and very accommodating. She certainly improved my opinion of the employees at this hotel.

My only concern was the sofa in the living room, But this is not a reason to give this place less than 5 stars. This place is amazing. Clean and nice environment. The staff very friendly and professional. I enjoyed playing basket ball there. Also the breakfast is very delicious and the girls who serve it very polite and friendly. Definitely I'll go again.

This is the best of the 3 hotels to stay at in the Golden Triangle in Greenbelt. The rooms are very nice with a full office setup and a full kitchen with a refrigerator oven and dishwasher.

This room has the perfect amenities for the business traveler who's staying for any period of time. Breakfast and 24 hour coffee is extremely convenient.

Rooms are clean and modern.

The staff was extremely rude and unwilling to help after they mistakingly cancelled our reservation. After much arguing, the staff begrudgingly offered a handicap suite, despite having plenty of non-handicap options available (no one in our party is handicapped). The room was not properly ready for new guests. The toilet paper was left empty, there were no sheets for the pull-out couch (which was broken), cleaning supplies were left on the floor of the room, and the room was not cleaned during the day. I will never return here and recommend that no one gives their money to this hotel.

Rooms are always clean and there was a fireplace in my room. Service is great. Only problem is the new "mix it up" promo at dinner time. But it's free food so, I shouldn't complain :-)

Staff was AMAZING and helpful.

We stayed at the Marriott Residence in at Silver Spring with our dogs for over a month and by the time we left we were genuinely sad to say goodbye to the staff. The room was adequate, but it was the service we received that made our stay as good as it was. All members of the staff we interacted with would go out of their way to make our lives easier. The friendly staff at breakfast in the mornings made waking up early a pleasant experience. We will miss our new friends.

Room was comfortable but no two bedroom suites. Kitchenette is adequate, no oven though. Had a lot of very minor issues at the start of our stay, as long as the male manager was on duty and. Notified the issues were resolved quickly enough. Otherwise I had to call a couple times. Pool is a little small as is the exercise room. Oh and water for drinking was difficult to find. They never had it in the marketplace and there was no pitcher in the room for filling. Tub was stained so kind of gross and duvet was not the right size. Overall not the best Residence Inn I've stayed in but not the worst.

Wow, so amazing! Comfy! Great modern feel. Cleaning and relaxing. Nice flat tvs in room. Room temperature was already perfect upon arrival. One of the best stays I've ever had. Highly recommended.

I love it there. I always feel like it is my home. As soon as I enter my room I automatically start unpacking in the closets and drawers. I especially like the fact that you can give them a shopping list and they bring it to your room door. It gets no better than that.
