I thoroughly enjoyed my recent week long stay at the Sleep Inn & Suites in Emmitsburg, Maryland! EVERYONE on staff was super friendly and helpful! From Michael and Kristina at the front desk to Matthew in food service and Yvonne in housekeeping, to the maintenance gentlemen, everyone always had a smile on their face and it was like talking to a friend! As some reviews state, could there be some things updated at the hotel? Sure. HOWEVER, those things are minimal when compared to staying at a place that is SAFE, CLEAN, and QUIET! The food was great with a nice variety every day and I loved the fact that you could get coffee or tea 24 hours a day. I will definitely be staying here again for any future trips!

Stayed here several times. Nice stop off when traveling highway 15. Easy on and off with gas and food located nearby.

My husband and I stayed 1 night. Upon first glance everything looked good. However, when I woke up in the morning I was fairly disappointed. I found our ice bucket had water left in it and a dirty cup inside. The hair dryer did not work so I was not able to fix my hair. And worst of all, the coffee maker in the room had parts missing so I couldn't make myself a coffee. Once my husband woke up, we went down for breakfast. The eggs were ok (if you like powdered eggs) and the cheese inside the egg was rubbery. The bacon, while tasty, was so paper thin. A friend who was also visiting had the waffles and said they weren't bad. My husband couldn't eat his eggs, so he ended up having a yogurt which may have been the best thing on the menu. Overall, this hotel is subpar at best.

Service is always good with the staff. Very friendly. I had an issue with my phone and told them before I left for the day for my event. When I got back, the phone was fixed.

Good clean place to stay good food close by shopping within 10 minutes to the north 30 minutes to the south if you stop and stay here tell them T. From Home Run Trucking gave the recommendations.

Spacious rooms, plenty of plugs. Good phone service, nmdecent TV size, nice desks, good closet space. Only complaint is the weird bathroom sliding door and the placement of some of the light switches.

Parking lot was overflowing and we had to park on the grass. The elevator had an incredibly pungent smell to it that persisted throughout our stay (even though it had been recently cleaned). The only window the room had was on the edge of the parking lot facing wall.

Parking lot was full when we arrived. Interior is a bit dated. Rooms are tiny, bathroom and vanity area is cramped, the heater smelled like burning when turned on, and there was burn marks in the carpet. Overall not terrible for two people to crash for a night but would not fit four people comfortably.

Great Service and clean hotel rooms and no noise pollution.

I've been staying at Sleep Inn for years and it's typically a very pleasant stay. They offer complimary breakfast as well as as many rollaway beds as the room can fit. The gym and pool are nice amentites, though the pool isn't always clean. The rooms are a good size and are always very clean, though the last time I stayed there it looked at though they were in the middle of small renovations because the bathroom door was covered in different paint colors. Overall it's a great hotel and the service is always fantastic and accommodating.

This hotel in Emmitsburg is pretty niche, and is a local favorite of all the instructors who work at the local ski resort. The staff is nice, they offer 24 hour coffee, and the rooms are adequate. I'm only taking a star off because it seems like they hVe a mild case of stink bugs. I found one in one of the rooms, and another in the lobby.

Loved the jacuzzi/bath. Pillows and king size bed were extremely comfortable. Everything was clean and neat. Kudos to the housekeeping.

Everything was fine, didn't spend much time in the room. Had a decent free breakfast in the morning.

Rooms were clean, service was impeccable. Showers were excellent for a hotel shower. Better than the roach-infested Super 8 up the road.

Great location in the Emmittsberg, MD area. Great customer service by entire staff! Dog friendly hotel! Super exersice room and indoor heated pool! Location is close to a great grocery store, McDonald's, and some great restaurant's!

Fireplace suite is super weird. Huge bathtub has hand held shower sprayer. Between the bathroom and the living room there is this window/door that opens. It is just weird. Breakfast was good. Room was clean.

A clean hotel the staff was friendly and bedrooms of a good size. The amenities such as food, swimming pool and exercise room were great. The location in proximity to major roads as well as local areas was also perfect. Look forward to staying there again next year!

Building looked a little bit dated but the rooms were nice and was provided a good breakfast workout room and pool.

It was ok for what it was. Staff was friendly and check-in was smooth, breakfast was ok too. Next time I plan to drive a little further down but I was tired.

Spent two nights and have no complaints. The room and bath were clean, Staff was excellent; very helpful. Breakfast room offered wide array of breakfast goodies from hot foods (like eggs and bacon or sausage), dry cereal, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, of course coffee and tea, and much more. Bed was comfortable. Parking was free and close to the front door. The only drawback was the bathroom tub in the handicap room I was in had a very high side, making it difficult to step in to. I think it would have been better to have a shower only.

Rooms are small, marks and scratches all over walls, over priced for what we got …

I would like to thank you guys for housing my wedding party over this past weekend… me and my spouse heard nothing but great things about everything. It really means alot.

Broken door lock kept us out of our room for over an hour at 11pm on new years eve. Only after I requested another room did they give us an alternative to sitting in the hallway while we waited for an off site maintenence person to show up.

Very small bathroom with a broken lock. Shower stall with no tub. Room was otherwise comfortable and decent size. Everything was clean.

Unexpectedly we had to find some where to sleep since we had to wait for safe lite to come fix our windshield. Sleep Inn was a great hotel great staff. We came with nothing and when we asked for stuff they gave it to us. They definitely are amazing. We will certainly be back! Great company great staff great place. Thank you again!

I had to stay at the sleep Inn and suites on October 1st and the beds were soo comfortable! Breakfast was also a great selection. I would recommend everyone to stay here!

A little off the beaten path, but a decent hotel. I was a 2 night guest which is as long as I would want to stay. The is is not someplace you would stay for a longer trip. Hotel is clean, rooms are, for the most part, modern and the staff is personable, but it's still a Sleep Inn.

This place is clean and comfortable with all conveniences. The attending staff are friendly. I recommend it.

It's a quality place to spend the night. Breakfast leaves a bit to be desired. Wi-Fi is acceptable.

Credit Card Fraud****. The hotel sent a debit notice to my card for 4 different amounts that added up to $1, 108 for a two night stay that should have cost about $250. I complained about the problem twice and they were still proceeding with the transaction 3 days later! I finally had to call my bank fraud hotline and cancel my card to stop it.

We stayed 3 nights and for our purposes it was just what we needed. Clean rooms, nice enviroment. Good place to stay.

This sleep inn was in emmitsburg maryland it has very nice rooms but the service was kind of rude in a way.

Location is right off the highway, rooms were typical, and staff was willing to help.

The breakfast was fine, the staff courteous, the beds very comfortable. However, the room had no tub, only a shower. When I questioned staff about this, they advised that only the suites and handicapped rooms had tubs. It is the only hotel in the town of Emmitsburg, so I guess they can get away with it.

It was a last ditch effort to find a room close to Gettysburg and it worked out great. Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was good also.

Arrived after a very long drive only to find out Expedia had booked us into a room with two double beds instead of the king size bed that we had wanted. Heather at the front desk was extremely friendly and pleasant and not only switched us to the proper room but also was able to book us for an extra night at the last minute at a rate that was cheaper than Expedia. During our stay we found that all of the staff from the front desk to the housekeeping were all very helpful and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. I was a little concerned at first about the size of the shower stall (no bathtub) but the shower stall was very large providing ample room. One of the highlights of my experience was the fabulous indoor heated pool that was 4'-5' deep and also had steps with a railing to get in. Breakfast was great! and loved the make your own waffle station. Had a nice selection of items available including fresh fruit and yogurt. The only negative I would say was that the eggs and sausage were dry and not very warm. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the Gettysburg area, or taking any of the scenic tours nearby in Maryland.

Nice room, priced right. The breakfast is not the best, but its complimentary. Coffee is not great. Would love it if they step up the breakfast a bit. Will stay again everything we go to Liberty.
