The perfect three night getaway for my mom & me. I've never felt more at home. Quiet & comfortable. Beautiful neighborhood. Wonderfully charming and hilarious hosts. Terrific breakfasts. Lightest biscuits & best fried pies we've ever eaten. Jimmy got up early the morning of our departure and had packed two goody bags for our over 7 hour drive home. I look forward to staying again if I'm ever back in the area. 😺😻

We hosted a Centenary College graduation party here this past weekend, and we were truly WOWED! 2439 Fairfield A Bed & Breakfast is a gorgeous location, and the homemade food was SPECTACULAR! The look on the guests’ faces as they entered the foyer, and the continuous comments about the food and the entire experience were overwhelming. So many regretted they hadn’t snatched up a room to stay the entire weekend. The proprietors, Jimmy and Brian, really went above and beyond, and my daughter and her friends felt truly honored and grateful for the experience. Words cannot express my gratitude enough — it was a perfect, gorgeous, and glorious event, providing memories we’ll keep for life! (I only lament the fact that I didn’t take better photos! ) — with Sierra Worman.

Jimmy and Ryan are the best host. The breakfast was great 😊 I was not feeling well and they were so kind to ask if there was anything I needed. The place is quiet and beautifully reminiscent of the time the home was built. We will go back and stay if we get to Shreveport again.

Had an amazing meal for a bridal luncheon. Everything was beautiful and we were treated so special.

Best Bed and Breakfast in Shreveport. Antique appointed rooms great for honeymoons or just a getaway. Also a great place to host a luncheon, dinner, bridal/baby shower and more.

When we go to Shreveport for a visit, since I no longer have a home there, we have to have some place to stay. As luck would have it, a friend told me that Bed & Breakfasts are usually worth checking out. And he was right. I've stayed in quite a few, but the one we keep coming back to, over and over again, is 2439 Fairfield. Brian and Jimmy (the owners/hosts) bend over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. And we've NEVER had even a less-than-perfect experience there. If you're into history, this is the place for you — the entire house is decorated in Victorian-era furnishings. I'm more a Mission-Style kinda guy, but my wife loves the four-poster, the art, antique dresses on mannequins, and such. Oh, and that bed — with real, honest-to-God goose down pillows and comforter, it really is like sleeping on air. The location is great, too. A few blocks north of Kings Hwy. And south of Olive Street, it makes just about everything in Shreveport easily accessible. It's a quiet, upscale neighborhood, so I don't worry about the safety and security issues you typically find at a hotel. Then there's the breakfast. Wow. Scrambled eggs. A couple of kinds of sausage. Ham. English muffins. Banana bread. Homemade cheese grits. Juice. All home-cooked. All delicious. Oh, and fried pies for desert. Forget about eating lunch… you'll be stuffed. But lets say you have allergies, or like a room that is more sparsely-furnished… Brian and Jimmy are more than happy to oblige.

The Christmas Dinner was delicious. Each menu item was cooked perfectly. Service was awesome. The pianist added just the perfect touch playing Christmas music.

A step back in time of at least one hundred years. Elaborately decorated for Christmas. Was there for a delicious luncheon, served using old silverplate pieces. Wish I were there now!

I can't say enough about what a pleasant, wonderful time I had staying at this bed and breakfast-surpasses any experience I have had yet. Beautifully done exterior and interior, with quaint rooms, very comfortable bed, quiet atmosphere — — I loved sitting on the balcony of my room visiting with my friend in the two swings that overlook the surroundings. Breakfast was delicious-ending with coconut fried pie that was indescribably delicious. I would love to go back during the holiday season, just to experience the beauty of the holiday season, with all the special trimmings. I will most definitely be visiting here again! The very best of the best. You will slip into a Victorian paradise you'll never forget and be left with a precious memory especially during Christmas.

I ate dinner here for a meeting with my medical school class. The food was good. I did not spend any time elsewhere in the building.

I went to this establishment for a baby shower and it was very interesting. I wouldn't say it's romantic by any means but it is very cute like grandmothers house. The location was easy enough to find.

It was a great experience, it gave me a taste of authenticity, like being part of a movie 100 years ago. At the same time a feeling of being at home. The surrounding were magical, the service was great, it was very clean. The food was awesome. The christmas decoration was very nice. I think it was one of the best places I have ever stayed all over the world. wadad.
