Very clean and good service. The access a little complicated since with the rain and at night you can not see the entrance.

The only problem that I experienced with this hotel and it wasn’t even a problem is that unfortunately the restaurant that was previously attached to it has closed so it kind of the detracts from the exterior because it sits in front of the property. However this is by far one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had staff was amazing went above and beyond. Breakfast was nice more than just your stale muffins. I would highly recommend this to anybody that’s traveling through the Baton Rouge area.

Rooms extremely clean, friendly personal, free breakfast included, microwave and refrigerator, coffee pot and coffee, iron and ironing board in closet. Hair dryer in bathroom. Just amazing! comfortable bed. Dining area for breakfast and coffee pot in that area as well. Double closet with mirrors on doors. I definitely give this particular one a.

This is and older hotel, but it’s well managed and maintained. The staff is professional and helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I would recommend this particular location any time.

Location is good despite the abandoned Shoney's greeting you as you drive up. The rooms are clean but the is a rypical smell as if the carpet had to much wet traffic. However, you get nose blind in about 5 minutes. Overall good comfort and clean for the price. I didn't eat the breakfast, but the lobby was clean and the front desk was very nice. The outdoor pool was well maintained also. If you just need somewhere clean to lay your head this is a good choice.

Good location (close to the Interstate) and good price that included a breakfast buffet. Room smelled a little musty and the toilet is in an odd angle (no, really! ). But it was clean and the bed comfortable. Exactly what we needed after being 10 hours on the road. Overall a good value for travellers and those who are just passing by.

I walked up the upstairs to the room and now my head hurts, the room smells, the toilet barely flushes and it is hot. I'm very upset. Hopefully won't have this problem in the future. May have to find another hotel to stay to relax better.

The hotel has really good amenities and breakfast items. The room was really in good shape and everything worked flawlessly. The only problem I faced was the hotel entrance which is located on 415. I thought there is another entrance on route 10 but there was none and I had to drive 11 mile one way to take the exit and then come back wasted almost 30 minutes only if the hotel entrance was properly lit and marked.

I never stayed here before but properties across the street were booked up so I book room here. Room Smells so musty and so dirty hallway. Looks like they have all truck drivers customer. Never come back again. Staff was good but hotel so cheap and dirty. I would stay in super 8 but never here.

Wow don't believe reviews!, Boarded up windows out front, semis parked all over parking lot sleeping for the night, sex store across street, crazy guy talking to himself walking up and down road, ignorant non American staff,

I had a great stay here! The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was pretty darn good too! I've stayed a here number of times on long drives, and this Best Western has consistently been excellent.

Little on the pricey side but the breakfast in the morning was real good I like to place it was very clean and the staff was very polite.

The room smelled like mildew. The pool was decent, the room was ok. The price was cheap so for the money it was a good place to stay. I would have rated higher if not for having to febreeze the room. I did not ask for a different room since we were only staying one night and the price was cheap I figured I didn't have much reason to complain. I would stay here again.

The Best Western in port allen is a good hotel. I have been here many times for business. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean and it is a quiet place to stay. Will be staying again.

The entire staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The room was clean and appeared well taken care of. They even had a towel decorated animal on the bed like they do on cruises. Nice touch!

OMG WONDERFUL HOTEL! I've stayed here several times the rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is awesome can't go wrong with any choice.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good. It looked a little sketchy but the rooms were pretty ok. It had a moldy smell when we got there but when we cut on the air it went away. It was clean and overall a pretty good stay.

Beds are good. Close to shopping and dining. Lots of TV channels and close parking. Clean rooms no bad odors. Would definitely stay again.

Did not enjoy my stay here. The entire hotel wreaked of cigarette smoke despite all the rooms in my section of the hotel having non-smoking signs on the doors. The rooms were fairly clean, though the carpet probably needs to be replaced — I did not want to walk on it barefoot. Also, the area did not feel very safe to me as I had to walk to a secluded building with poor lighting outside.

Love this place. The staff is so nice the rooms are clean and they have an awesome pancake machine to make pancakes at breakfast. And I just love the little lady that works at the desk she is so nice and remembers who everyone is just overall a nice place to stay.

The hotel is price gouging. There regular weekly rate is $56 dollars but upped the cost all the way to $138 for a weekend with an event in Baton Rouge. The rooms are extremely tiny, the exterior building locks do not work, the hair dryer was dirty, there were cigarette burns in the sheets, and mold on the shower curtain. Most costly and worse Best Western experience.

Best place we have ever stayed at. If you are ever in port allen be sure to stay there. But if you have back problems the beds are a little painfull.

Excellent comfortable quiet safe hotel. Comfortable beds, great hot breakfast. Kind staff and convenient location. Seasonal pool. Love this hotel.

Couldn't ask for a more friendly staff! Older motel, but has been kept in good order. My room was clean and cared for. Business stay and I will gladly stay there again when I am there.

Got soaked loading and unloading. Keys kept turning off. Breakfast hard to access in rain. Other than that great stay.

The Best Western Magnolia Manor in Port Allen Louisiana is an "excellent" hotel that will meet or exceed your room accommodations/services. The staff, continental breakfast and the overall hotel environment ranks above the rest. Any of my future travels will include Best Western International, Inc. And the Best Western Magnolia Manor. Hotel wasn't the nicest but it wasn't the worset. Only problem I really ran into was people keep smoking in the non smoking rooms.

Nice and clean place especially for an emergency evacuation… The front desk receptionist was more than helpful. Internet was great!

Every time I visit Port Allen, this is where I stay. It's extremely affordable and comfortable. The rooms are clean, and the beds always hold me hostage.

The hotel room is quite small for four people. The two queens are just a few inches bigger than a twin. The room had a funny odor. Otherwise, it was clean. We had a second room and that toilet was crooked, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom light switch didn't work. It was nice for the price. I would recommend a couple or a single person.

I stayed there for the weekend. Don't really have anything bad to say about this place… I had driven all night and they let me check in early… Like 9:30AM. That was pretty cool. It had a bed and a cold air conditioner… It's all I really cared about… They had a problem with the pump on their pool on the first night I was there & shut the pool down… So that was a downer. On the day of checkout (even though check out was 11 & I had the do not disturb sign up) they still knocked on the door at 10 AM to see if I was leaving. Like I said… Nothing bad to say about them… I would probably stay there again.

I was disappointed in the housekeeper's they all pretty much look like there are on drugs they repeatedly asked FOR cigarettes and the rooms were suitable for people of their preference meaning the rooms were good enough for somebody that's on drugs as well the rooms could have been cleaner and smell fresher the corners in the rooms is Caked Up with trash the bed sheets are not white they're off white and they have cigarette holes in the sheets and the comforters I had a non-smoking room and it smelled like smoke and there was hair all over in the bathroom on the walls I paid $37 for one night but I guess that was suitable for that price but like I said it should have been cleaner.

Room was clean. Staff was very helpful. Not expensive and you get better than what you pay. I would stay again happily.

Smaller room and bathroom. Room had a different smell. Very few outlets to charge electronics. Breakfast ok (better if pancake machine worked). Clean, refrigerator, microwave, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Good value @ $65 if staying 1 night.

Very nice no frills hotel. Nice pool area and decent breakfast. What makes this place is the staff. I forgot my 8 rings including my wedding rings and Abah found them turned them in and the lovely lady at the front desk called me immediately. He also overhead us wonder where the one machine was and pointed us in the right direction. The young lady in the breakfast area was very efficient and made sure everything was kept filled.

5 stars but the room had a "been closed up"smell… once we turned A/C on it got better… but, room was nice, huge towels in bathroom, large shower head, lots of power and it's tall… hate doing back bends to wash my hair… pool was nice and they had pool towels… every staff member we encountered was very nice!

Old, old building. Stairway smelled bad. Phone, remote did not work, no ice machine. Many men in parking lot late at night. COCKROACH in tub… breakfast not fast or fresh!

Nice hotel. Got a room at almost 11pm, the woman at the front desk was extremely kind. The room was what you'd expect, no complaints. Very clean.

First non smoking room they gave us was very much smokey. The whole building was not secure. The outside door was taped open. Breakfast food was subpar.

My nephew was on his way back to school to Prairie View Texas, had a blow out in Baton Rouge and totaled his vehicle. The police dropped him and 2 other friends off here so they could get a room. Victor (employee) stated that since they were not 21 he could not give them a room. My sister n law called to Ask if a exception could be made due to the circumstances. Victor said he didn't know what was going on even thought he saw the police bring them to the hotel. He stated it was company policy. My nephew was told that they could not stay on the premise, so they went out to the parking lot. As I was on my way from New Orleans to BR to pick them up his mom was able to secure them a room at the Holiday Inn. I know there is an exception to every rule and in this case Victor should have use some common sense and not thrown 3 young men out with no place to go. Thanks god the representative at Holiday Inn had some human compassion and understanding.

Overall this place was nothing special. They didnt have fruit at breakfast. We asked for queen beds and they put us in a room with fulls! Two people don't fit in a full and the over night guy didn't know what the difference was between the beds! Lol we had to get to get 2 king bedrooms, because they didn't have 2 queens in the same room, only fulls…

It was an awesome comfortable clean hotel.

Checked in 3/15/15 I wasn't sure what to expect due to negative reviews but I found it to be perfectly fine. Sure it's not a Hilton but everything worked perfectly fine. Bed was clean, restroom was clean and room looked good. Sure I can be picky and say I found a food crumb on the table but it's not a big deal to me. Sure refrigerator had black scuffs from shoes or bags hitting it but it's not a big deal to me. I can still sleep fine with those scuffs on the fridge. If you want a 5 star resort then check in to a 5 star resort. This is a 2-3 star place but it works perfectly fine for me to sleep a few hours and hit the road again. It has truck parking as well! big plus. Thanks.

It had hole in the wall, roaches in the room, we had 7 rooms, 2 of them had things stolen out of them, an ipad and jewelry, when we reported it to front desk we were told to get out and find another place I have been working on the road for 18years. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in.

Cockroaches and Bad service. I stayed one night because it made me sick and paranoid after seeing cockroaches in my room I asked to be moved to a different room then in my new room Boom! Cockroaches again. The next morning the manager calls me accusing of stealing a pillow and a towel, which I would never. Overall never ever staying here again.

The outside and lobby are nothing special, but don't let that fool you; the rooms were decorated much better, but most importantly they were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast has the standard stuff; make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, oatmeal, assorted pastries/breads, fruit, yogurt, juices, coffee and tea, but don't expect a 5 star taste at a 2 star hotel. Overall it was amazing for the price and I would stay here again if I ever have to stay in Baton Rouge, LA.
