Hotels located next to a truck stop. Properly is pretty old and needs maintenance. Internet was pretty slow.

Overall the experience is just ok. Good points inexpensive, quiet, smoking rooms available, mini fridge and microwave. Not so good points out dated read old reviews remodeling been going on over a year, breakfast needs work (the coffee is awful) the first day pool was open but not really clean. The second day workers were in the pool cleaning most of the day… My stay was only two days.

It's ok Wi-Fi and service sucks though.

Decent for a super 8. Breakfast was kinda weak. Rooms weren't bad.

Not TOO bad! Doing remodeling, was relatively clean. Take everything out of your car and lock it!

Room was clean and had not been updated yet as they were working on the 2nd flooor first. Bed was comfy and had all we needed.

I am still currently here only because it is my last night in town. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable about the area and all the things I should visit while in town but the rooms smelled bad I didn't have a blanket on my bed there was only one towel one wash rag one hand towel one small bottle of shampoo one small bar of soap no trash can in the bath room and only one half roll of toilet paper the Wi-Fi didn't work and the cable barely worked only one lamp in the room had a bulb in it and the heat and air conditioning didn't work other than the staff my stay in this hotel was very crappy there would have to be some major changes for me to stay here again I really wish I could get some of my money back.

Good location, clean facilities and friendly staff, it lacks lighting to the patios.

The location is convenient and close to restaurants and gas stations. The front desk clerk was very nice and friendly. There was construction/remodeling going on but for the most part it was quiet. The room appeared to be clean even though it smelled slightly musty and the bathroom needed some work. The toilet had a black ring around the water line but slowly disappeared with each flush. Where the shower head came out of the wall needed to be secured back into place. The shower water knobs were loose; good thing my hubby had tools in his truck. The coffee is awful so it's a great thing there is aLuv's.

Stayed there last weekend (4th of July) and I'm going to make this very simple. I would not recommend this place to the devil he he was sitting next to me. They are definitely not military friendly. I had internet service maybe all of 30 min and and by the way because I had to leave due to an emergency, they tried to charge me for 2 more nights that I wasn't going to be there. Ms front desk lady "Grace" was extremely rude. So I asked her can she show me the policy that's states you have to charge me, she said that's what they said, I politely asked "who is they". She said "the manger", I politely asked "have you ever seen it? " Her reply, "No, that's what they said" "whatever they say that's what I do"… (very rude). I don't know what kind of circus they have playing there but it's certainly unprofessional and not customer friendly. I will also be contacting BBB and Corporate to let them know as well.

Because of the reasonable price I decided to spend the night here. As they say you get what you pay for. The staff was unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't recommend no one I know to go to the port allen super location.

Location is decent, a couple of fast food places around. Desk service was good, staff was nice. Room was OK at best. A/C barely blew cold air.

Not recommended for family or females. Rooms are not clean. Walls were dirty, doors had hand prints. Stagnant odor.

Disgusting at best, room 248. Very moldy odor and extremely dirty. The sheets were turned inside out instead of being changed, pillow flat and child size. Someone elses rotten food left in refrigerator, hair and toothpaste left in sink, bathroom floor hasn't been cleaned in 20 years, the shower was too dirty to use. Lady bugs everywhere and every fixture was rusted. We only stayed because it was so late from a very long drive and pure exhaustion. It was so dirty that we slept in our clothes. As for getting sleep… forget it, between the train on one side and someone outside running a tractor at 4 am.

This hotel was horrible. There were bugs and roaches all over the room. When I went to the front desk, they did nothing about it. If you like bugs and roaches, this will be the perfect spot for you. No stars were given, had to choose to post.

The room was comfortable. The carpet is filthy and needs to be properly cleaned. I did not have all clean towels clean sheets to I demanded the towels be completely exchanged and the bed changed.

Awful & nasty! Don't stay here! I'm the type that's easy going but this is awful. If my wife wasn't here with me I would sleep in the car. We have no option due to the flood there is no other places to stay. The fun of our trip ended here hopefully we make it alive through the night. You name it and it's on the list of things wrong with this place. Trust me this place is a dump and the owner should be a shamed of his or her self!

The service was excellent, my only complaint is that the air conditioning to much noise to turn it.

Loved the staff hospitality there nice friendly great breakfast.

Out of any pest infestation lady bugs are tolerable but once we found them on the pillows it became a problem. And what happened to southern hospitality? seriously, just don't stay here. Its New Years Day, check out is at noon, and maids (I'm sorry, "housekeepers") are banging on our door at 9am just to ask if we're checking out today or staying again. They visited us again an hour later asking when we were checking out and again at 11. We were obviously their only room to clean this morning, but really?! Absolutely appauld by how once we started packing our car the maids CAME INTO OUR ROOM TO START CLEANING while we were still loading everything. I dont care if you want to go home to your fried chicken bbq… you dont rush people out of a hotel like that. Thos place is absolutely unprofessional, unclean and unworthy of anyone money.

Failure the television and the telephone, am still waiting that we changed room.
