The staff at this hotel was exceptional and kind. They made me feel special every time I walked in the door. I wasn't just a person at their hotel. They remembered my face, our conversations. They made me feel like family. The room was gorgeous, clean, and I felt very safe. Even with renovations under way, it was an excellent place to stay.

Right price! Right location! Very friendly and professional staff! Steps from the best restaurants and the casino. The Riverwalk is a 10 minute walk away.

Had the worst experience! Dirty restroom, broken TV (THAT THEY KNEW ABOUT & DIDNT NOTIFY ME BUT CHARGED ME FOR) so we didn’t watch TV the entire visit. Nothing was offered at all! No apology what so ever! Paid for valet (42) a night and last night Anthony informed me to just find a parking on left side of street and when I woke up I had a paper from HOTEL stating this is a no parking zone and we left just in time before we received a ticket! Rooms weren’t cleaned! Elevator was broken! The prices were a pretty penny for all this bs! Never again! Such a shame, this is a cute Hotel!

Great staff and experience!

Valet Parking service parked my vehicle in a bicycle lane and it got a $300 parking ticket. So after paying $42 for Valet Parking and a $300 ticket parking cost me $342. I gave the Pelham Hotel and Parking Management Services over 4 months to take care of it. After several phone calls we received nothing from either business.

Wonderful clean and charming hotel. Located 2 blocks from Bourbon Street and lots of other interesting shops and sights.

I've always wanted to experience staying in an old sort of historic hotel. I'm pleased with the hotel. Not so sure about the service yet, certainly not too impressed with the front desk attendant, I called down on two different occasions to receive no answer.

Amazing hotel. One block from bourbon street.

We spent a few days down in N'awlins and we stayed at this hotel. The first room we were given had wet carpet and terrible smell… Troy took care of it immediately and put us in an executive suite. Room was gorgeous and wish I could have stayed longer. Troy even had a pizza downstairs for myself and my girls. Super Sweet! I've never been treated so well at any hotel. I look forward to returning one day soon.

Are stay was awesome while we were in NOLA. Convenient to everything downtown New Orleans. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was at the Pelham. The customer service was outstanding all around. A few weeks prior to our stay, we called to get our stay extended, and the lady that assisted us was phenomenal. I could really tell that she cared about our stay and experience. The front desk attendants were always so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect — it’s less than a 10 minute walk to Bourbon street. The room was gorgeous and full of character. I will 100% stay here every time I stay in NOLA.

Thanks to the staff at the Pelham! Our stay was amazing! Room was clean, loved the high ceilings and decor! Smelled great! (Automatic scent sprayers, yes! ). Nice quality toiletries (shampoo and conditioner, body wash, lotion, soap). Coffee in the lobby that was tasty! Valet was very easy to use! I can’t say one negative thing! Location is perfect, just off canal, close to the French Quarter and Bourbon St! Highly recommended!

Professional staff, perfectly located just off Canal with upscale accommodations. Newly renovated rooms are spacious yet eclectic with modern touches. A+ king size beds for restful sleep. A gem of a hotel at an exceptional price. Keenya and her customer service staff are amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our flight was delayed and we arrived late. They were very friendly on the phone and patient with this frazzled woman. Once there, again, very patient and smiles. Our room was nice, clean, cold and quiet. PERFECT! It was my fave part of NOLA.

If you want to have the New Orleans feel without breaking the bank come here. Very clean place and friendly staff. The location is awesome & right next to the tour company and across Canal St. Which allows a quite sleep but keeps you right in the action. Never had to pull our car out. Everything is walking distance.

The Pelham Hotel was exactly what we were looking for in a nostalgic New Orleans overnight stay. It was a little difficult as a first timer to navigate to where we were supposed to park for the valet to take our car. The interior of the hotel has definitely seen its years, but is still beautiful and its charm remains. The rooms are a little small but the high ceilings give a roomier feel. Staff was very nice and informative. We are looking forward to returning for a multi night stay and the Pelham is definitely going to be our spot.

We were very pleased with our stay there for two nights. We stayed in room 213 and had a king size bed. Bed was comfy and everything in the room worked well. Would have preferred a room with a window but you can't sweat the small stuff. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pointed us in the right direction for good food nearby and even helped us book a tour of the city. Having the Ruby Slipper Restaurant so close is a definite plus. We will be happy to stay there again.

The Pelham has been lovely. I was in a new/refurbished room with a high ceiling. The service was excellent. The room could use a bit of furniture, but there are no quality issues. For the price, it's a great place to act as a vacation hub.

This place has a lot of charm and the location is perfect. It's far enough away from the French Quarter that you're able to sleep soundly, but close enough to get to. I also love that there is a restaurant down the block that delivers. My only complaint is that in a foodie city like NOLA, you really should have a mini fridge and microwave. But the price was right, so was the location and the staff was more than accommodating.

Very comfortable hotel with great atmosphere. If you're on the street side, be ready for street noise. Nola doesn't sleep and if you don't bring white noise (or if you aren't a deep sleeper), neither will you. I still loved the accommodations and the bathroom was very nice (gorgeous tile walk-in shower).

This hotel is awesome. I was worried when I didn't notice that I booked a room with no windows… It was the best desicion to date. The room was so cozy and comforting. The room was clean and cool. The staff were also great. I felt at ease with the staff and can't wait to visit again and skip the huge overpriced hotels. This place is in the perfect location and ran by real people who are amazing! It is one block away from the French quarter. I walked all over and was so happy that the hotel was close enough but not in the middle of all the chaos.

This place needs coffee in rooms.
Beds are comfy, but need more pillows. We paid over $400 for one night with 2 queen beds. Not worth it. Room 403.
Refrigerator didn’t work and the room was so small — we barely could pass each other in the walk space.
The AC did work well though.
I would not stay there again for that price.

The hotel is horrible, has no internet, has nothing the services are lousy, at reception they don't give you the best service. It's sooo expensive for the horrible service it gives.
I don't give him any less stars, because I can't.

What a great hotel! The hotel was clean and the front desk staff was polite and very helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect! We stayed outside of the French quarter and it was perfect to be close to everything, but within reasonable walking distance. The hotel had some electric work that they notified of us early and offered 50% return on our night. Since the power ended up being out longer, they comped us our whole night! What fantastic service! BONUS! The hotel is connected to The Ruby Slipper which is perfect for breakfast/brunch. I will definitely return here to stay on my next trip.

The reason it gets 2 ⭐️ is 1. The location is great, close to everything. 2. The bed was comfortable. That’s it, that’s really the only thing good I can say. Let me just list the cons. 1. First and foremost, if you need help and Troy is on duty, forget it. He’s not helping anyone. I’ve never met anyone working in a hotel that could be anymore annoyed to be at his job. 2. The rooms are super small. The bathroom was very small. The sink didn’t have any room to lay anything. Just a simple pedestal sink. 3. The housekeeper was very rude. 4. There are hardly any electrical outlets. They have placed extension cords for convienence I suppose. Don’t reach under the bed to get it, they haven’t cleaned under there in quite some time. 5. The closet door handle fell off. 6. There are NO conveniences, such as bottled water, continental breakfast, in room coffee, the ONLY ice machine is on the first floor. 7. Which brings me to the elevators. The one on the right takes FOREVER, you begin to worry if it’s stalled. 8. Stains! There were stains on the sheets, the curtains, and the shower curtain, yuk. When we ask for the bed to be changed, the housekeeper rolled her eyes. Thank goodness we were in the room when she finally made her way to clean the room late in the afternoon. I’m not certain it would have been changed. 9. I know It’s an older building but the smell inside is not pleasant. If you are not concerned with anything but location, this is a good hotel.

Musty room (others might be okay but mine was musty and moist) but right size, location okay, price right but I got what I paid for.

The hotel is at a great location. Close to everything but far enough of the craziness of the quarter. The staff is very nice and helpful. We had no chance to check out the Ruby Slippers restaurant as the line was way too long each day. Old building but the rooms are nice and pretty clean.

Great location with easy access to French Quarter. Great old hotel and very competative price. No breakfast in the hotel but adjacent to a great restaurant. We would stay again.

Nice rooms. Under construction inside and out but once it's done it'd be a nice place. No free breakfast, poop or fitness center.

Good 3 star hotel, clean and very good beds, unfortunately no chair/table in the room. Coffee maker free to use all day in the (small but chic) lobby.

Great hotel. I love old historic hotels. It's small and cozy. I never needed a car I walked across the street to the French Quarter every day and took public transportation to and from airport for around $5 each way. I look forward to staying here again.

Plus: The hotel is located close to Canal street and the French Quarter in a quiet side street. No breakfast is served but in the same house is one of the best breakfast restaurants in town (time to get a table ca. 45 minutes) The room is nicely furnished and clean. We had a room with two Queensize beds what was perfect for 2 adults and a child. Minus: the whole hotel had a bad smell of old wet wood. Maybe its the humidity of New Orleans.

In it is sau cold. I was there in July or June. Outside was like oven, in there was refrigerator. Car parking was expensive, 50 dollor a day. In which is, yes … All right.

Really nice and cozy. Set the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the French flavour of New Orleans. A remodeling was in process during my stay. This was not visible to guests nor noisy whatsoever. This process, however, was completely blocking the emergency stairs which made impossible to use in case of need.

In a fantastic location nearby canal St and the French quarter but hidden away from all the noise. Room was clean, comfortable and well serviced. The concierge was knowledgeable and friendly. A great breakfast can be had at the Ruby slipper cafe just downstairs. Upon arrival our booking was not in the system but was quickly resolved by the hotel manager. Wifi is also excellent.

Great hotel located right on the edge on of the French Quarter. Beautiful, comfortable, full of helpful and kind staff. No parking on site, valet only. Plus, The Ruby Slipper is right next door!

Photos make the hotel look beautiful and classy. They lie. First off, a smell permeated the entire building. We checked in and had no towels or hot water. The room had plywood on the ceiling and the bathrooms had stains over everything. We finally got towels but no hot water for two days. Finally moved rooms. This room had roaches and a sink that does not drain. Honestly, I am horribly unimpressed with this hotel. It has so much potential but was a huge letdown.

The room was clean and the staff was nice, we even got to check in a little early, but we were right by the alleyway and you can hear everything! From the drunk people at 2am or the construction workers at 6am. Plus there's a weird little window at the top that let's in the street light even though it is shuttered closed. So make sure you pack ear plugs and an eye mask. Oh and the restaurant next door only serves breakfast and lunch. The picture below is the lovely view from our room :\

Stayed here for a week. Great service. Concierge is fantastic and helpful. Awesome that it backs straight onto the Ruby slipper which is such a great place to fend off the morning hunger after a heavy night of drinking. Short walk to the French quarter and all of its attractions. Great place to stay, would highly recommend!

This corner of the CBD was a perfect haven for a weekend getaway to New Orleans. Our 'interior room' (without windows) was a bargain. It was well-appointed and tranquil, well insulated from the steamy August heat and noise. The staff was helpful. It reminded me of an older generation of NYC business traveler hotels, with smaller rooms, but everything you might need on hand. Three Pelham, however, never left is feeling like we compromised. Parking is pricey, but you can find cheaper solutions for your car nearby or with an app. The price we paid left is feeling like we had a steal.

We had a great experience at the Pelham. We are very particular about hotels and we must say that this was a great choice. The rooms are clean. The beds are large and very comfortable. It is exactly as pictured. Definitely worth the price. It is about 5 minute walk to French Quarters/Bourbon Street and about 20 minute to Frenchman Street. The hotel is close to multiple restaurants, coffee shops and convenient stores. Would definitely stay here again!

This is our 2nd time staying at the hotel and it is a great place. Location is close to everything, clean rooms, and comfy beds!

The hotel is in a good location from the French Quarter, Super Dome, and Bourbon street. The staff was nice and helpful, and the bed slept very well. Ok, now for the not so cool parts. The parking is $35 a day, some of the sockets don't work, my room did not have a window, the hot water runs out quickly, and the walls are paper thin.

Hated it here, the staff was disgusting, the room they put us in was dirty, desk clerk had an attitude, wouldn't upgrade us for our inconvenience, not worth the $120+ we paid, wouldn't have paid no more than $40 had we seen this place first. Horrible place, save your money.

The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the location is convenient. However Troy at the front desk was very pushy about booking tours through the hotel. My parents were also staying here and booked a couple of tours, but when they had to cancel, they were told that their $150 deposit was non refundable. Additionally, both my parents and I booked and paid for rooms with king size beds. My room was fine but they were unexpectedly downgraded to a smaller room with two queen beds. Troy (again) blamed a plumbing issue and told my parents that he would be nice enough to not charge them extra for the two queens — which is ridiculous since the smaller room with smaller beds should have obviously cost less. The fact that he felt he could have charged more for less was ridiculous, and he never apologized for the inconvenience. Very disappointed with the service, will not come back or recommend.

Good hotel. Quiet and safe although you could hear quite a bit from my room in the hallway. My room had no windows but it was nice and cozy an decor was Louisiana for sure. It was close to the casino, other major and massive hotels, a 10 min walk or so to Bourbon St and a lot to the river front where the ferry. There is also a very nice selection of restaurants some local fare with wait times some with none and others that are very fine restaurants!

No refrigerator didn't like that and housekeeping was slow, no coffee maker in room and bathroom was really small and elevator was super slow. But the location was perfect as well as the historic decor. It was very quiet as well.

Rooms were extremely outdated. One of the electrical outlets near bedside didn't even work, which I didn't notice until my phone had been plugged in all night. The room was tiny. The furniture was old and somewhat grungy. The TV cable didn't work well and the Wi-Fi was slow. There were also no liners in trash cans-EWWW. This is more of a party hotel. If you are going to be drunk and don't care. This is a hotel for you. It's in a good location close to everything. If you want to spend any time in hotel room itself aside from sleeping don't stay here. My hubby and I won't be staying here again.

Very nice, charming, renovated, reasonably priced hotel in a great location. Staff was super nice. Free Wi-Fi. No coffee in room but a Keurig in the lobby. If you want to save on parking there's a pay to park lot across the street for only $25 for 24 hours. No in/out privileges but great if you just plan to park overnight. I'd definitely stay here again.

I had a few concerns during the beginning of my stay here… but the GM Shaun Barone stepped up and took care of my concerns quickly and efficiently. They even provided me with a written apology. At the end of the day, to me, it is how a business handles a problem that matters the most. I was very upset and had been feeling helpless about the interactions I had been having with the front staff, but management did not hesitate to address and correct the problem. Thank you! I am very thankful to the time and effort made by Shaun to make my stay a positive one.

Right in the heart of New Orleans and close to several convention centers. The hotel appears to be older than some others but it's clean and housekeeping is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'd recommend this little hotel.

The hotel is just beautiful. 5 min. From bourbon street. The room/bathroom was clean and just beautiful.

The location is the ONLY thing that's accurately advertised. The room was clean but extremely tiny (literally no room between the bed & wall for a night stand). And there's no closet!

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to be helpful. Hotel itself is adorable, full of character and charm, and very clean. Perfectly situated to be walkable to Bourbon Street, etc. Will absolutely be back. Quaint unique hotel. We discovered it before Harrah's Casino made it popular.

Stayed here over this weekend it was a really nice place the only thing I did not like was that my last day there was a big rig parked out front moving beds im not going to hold it against them just bad timing will stay here again.

Cool little hotel of the type you will find all over NO. IMO I like these places better than the big ones. Like the cool little room with the tall ceilings, liked the cool lobby and the GREAT Ruby Slipper next door for breakfast. Only things. Walls paper thin. Otherwise, cool little place in an ideal location.

Not clean! I stayed here four nights and the same towels stayed in my shower. They didn't give good room service trash was overflowing and toilet paper wasn't replenished. When we arrived in the room it was a used towel in the shower that was overlooked from the previous guest. I told staff about issues they replied it would get done and cleaned that day. And it never did. On my check out July 7 2014 I was told to talk to shaun who never showed up and never returned my phone calls. This is a good location but will ruin your trip by the horrible service.

JAZZ FEST Arrived at the Pelham Hotel early on Friday morning, friendly front desk staff member was able to accommodate us immediately, and the fun began. Hotel reminds me of my stays in europe Berlin and Paris, very European high high ceilings, granite and marble bathrooms, old worldly, nostalgic lobby, rooms cleaned daily, all white linens and toweling of good quality, coffee was available downstairs in the lobby area, location is a plus, steps from the casino and a walk across the road to the French Quarter, great breakfast restaurant next door. Will stay here again.

Absolutely loved this place! Just what I expected from a small boutique hotel in New Orleans. I was with a group of 30 people during Jazz Fest. Everyone to a person raved about the staff friendliness, the cleanliness of the hotel and its location. If you want to stay at one of the big and boring hotels there's plenty to choose from. I prefer a hotel that captures the essence of the place I'm visiting and The Pelham did exactly that. The problem with the big hotels is that you can't tell whether you're staying in New Orleans or Nebraska. Will certainly return to this hotel.
