Great experience, wonderful staff.

The location is perfect for walking to French Quarter and city sites. Room was well appointed, comfortable beds, awesome plush pillows, quality linens and towels. Plenty of USB ports.

We reserved one night 4-10-21 to 4-11-21 for $154.00. Most of the comments/ratings on Trip Advisor are old, so I called to verify that they are pet friendly, as stated online. No problem, Magnolia is pet friendly. And when I asked about the pet deposit amount, I was VERY pleasantly surprised that they DO NOT CHARGE A PET DEPOSIT. Wow! That is fantastic. Especially since marriott and sheraton charge a $75 non-refundable pet deposit. Sheesh!
The water pressure was good in tub and lavatory. The linens were clean and there were plenty of them. The room was clean, the bed was comfy. My only complaint is that it was pretty warm outside and the AC could not keep the room cool and the thermostat was not communicating with the AC. We requested a fan and were able to cool the room down for a comfortable night’s sleep. But for that I’d give them 5 stars. I feel that the AC problem and the fact the restaurant and bar were closed, 4 stars was the besbt I could do. Oh! Almost forgot … we ordered food delivery thru the service who’s phone number is provided on a card in the room. O M Gosh! We shared a lovely shrimp cocktail, a large portion of the Shrimp and Grits entree and the most delicious bread pudding I have ever eaten. Do yourself a favori, stay in, relax and enjoy a meal delivery when you stay at the Magnolia New Orleans.

Ive never stayed at a hotel in New Oeleans and had to asked for a fan. This is ridiculous! They actually gave me a box fan!

During our stay, the air conditioner was not working and it was so hot in our room that we did not even sleep well. My dog was so hot that we had to ask for a fan. Trying to contact general manager but they say they never there will keep trying. I do not recommend anybody to stay there.

Great room. I wish the bar would have stayed open pass 3pm. Plus the lobby was hot. However, I would stay again.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very courteous and professional. I arrived earlier than I expected and requested an early check in and the staff made it possible in very little time. The hotel is within walking distance to just about anything you want to do; restaurants, casino, the French Market and Quarter, etc.

Super clean rooms, nicely decorated, and comfortable beds. The rooftop soaking tub was clean and very hot, which was excellent. There is also a small rooftop fitness center and a reataurant. The staff was fantastic, always helpful and polite. The valet parking is convenient, just call the front desk 15 minutes before you leave and your car will be ready to go.

Good location, spacious suites, and a surprise garden/soaking tub (although jets didn't work). Friendly staff. Booked online and the website said no pet fee but there is a $50 if not a service dog. Great stay. Besides the older smell in the hallways it was very nice for the price. Booked through hotels tonight.

First time at this Hotel. I can’t say enough about how great the staff is here, friendly, courteous and great smiles. They make you feel like home. The rooms were spotless and super comfortable. Perfect location for walking and relaxing.

Could use a little updating but for the price, can't complain and if you valet park call ahead of time, it takes a few… enjoyed ourselves but bring a fan if your a light sleeper… however we got engaged and it was hot in our room and the staff upgraded is to the biggest suite in the hotel, the staff go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible! ❤❤

The hotel is in strategic location, close to many amenities. I was there last year during spring. You just walk to French Quarter, only few blocks from the hotel. Also it is close to New Orleans Riverside and the famous cathedral. You can just walk. Some of the iconic restaurants are also nearby such as Mother's which has been visited by many celebrities and politicians including President George Bush. Mother's has been actively involved in helping people during Katrina Hurricane. If you go there, try gumbo, po-boy and jambalaya. After eating, you can walk few blocks to the riverside enjoying the waterfront or you can sholping in Riverside malls. I went to Nordstrom and the store has many collections.

Thank you Omni Crescent for the excellent service you provided me during my stay on April 11 2018. I had a medical emergency at 4:00 in the morning, my blood sugar levels plummeted and your desk attendant brought up a glass of orange juice to the 8th floor (within 3 minutes) which was needed immediately. I was then back to a safe level. The room was very clean with all the amenities! I liked the restaurant on the ground level too. What else could anyone ask for! Thanks Again Omni Crescent! Larry T.

I can hear my neighbors conversations word for word. Cleaning staff was yelling by our door at 6:30AM. Room and bathroom was fairly clean upon arrival. Rooms could use some sprucing up and updating. Ceiling in the bathroom had cracks and holes in it. Temperature control in the room is average. I felt a bit warm and had trouble getting the room cooler. Cheap TV. Wi-Fi was AWFULY slow. Overall just an average hotel. W.

The hotel seemed to have its share of history. The location is great but an update to this hotel is in need. Staffs here are courteous!

Smells like mold and the bedding is less than comfortable. I thought I was getting the New Orleans Omni that’s truly closest to the river which is the Omni Riverfront. This place barely makes 2.5 stars. This Omni is unlike my experience with other Omni Hotels of which I was very pleased. I seriously would check out if I could get my money back.

Nice place overall the beds are soft but old. They have no parking so you have to either valet park 39.99 per day or walk a few blocks and self park 15.00 a day most of the staff are friendly and the rooms are very clean. They also have no microwave in the rooms so don't bring food back. Oh and don't forget the $50 per day they charge just in case.

Our stay at this hotel has been lovely. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable. There are legends that the hotel is haunted, although we didn't have any run-ins with the supernatural during our stay. The location is great because it convenient enough to the hot spots to walk, but also far enough away from all of the unpleasant sounds and smells of the most heavily trafficked part of the French Quarter. I would definitely stay again.

I stayed here recently for about 5 days. The staff was great, and I was treated really well. There are a couple of issues though. There is what appears to be major structural damage to this hotel, and on the 6th floor health deck I leaned up against the south-facing wall and it was clearly loose and easily rotated 20 degrees. Not only could I have fallen, but this retaining wall (about 3x1x10 ft) weighing over a thousand pounds could fall into the street below any day — — wher…e I watched crowds of over 30 people gather. I tried on a couple of occasions to get the French onion soup, a room service item ostensibly available as an 'all day dining' menu item. The first time I was turned away, then a few days later I ate in the restaurant and ordered this soup but was still forced to pay the extra room service fee and another fee on top of that even which I didn't understand, the staff was not pleased to make me this soup and I practically had to beg for it. Soup was terrible and filled with a 1/4 cup of dried rosemary twigs, I complained but was offered no concession from waitstaff. Did they make it bad on purpose? Otherwise great!

The staff was friendly and the bed comfy. I liked the furniture. Rooms were showing wear and tear. The shower had a half door and was awkward to get into. The drain was broken and loose. Water dripped from the handle of the sink. Wallpaper was peeling and black and red spots of mold? were on the ceiling. But overall I expected much more for this level of hotel. How about some holiday decor in the lobby?

The hotel was clean. The services were courteous. However, the space in the hotel was not designed too well. I was blessed to have a decent-size room. Many rooms were tight and one needed to go outside first in order to get to the hotel gym.

I would give this hotel 10 stars if I could. Easy check in, very clean hotel, very affordable, in a great location to do things in new Orleans. VERY friendly staff. I booked the room for my girlfriends birthday. They went out and bought flowers for her, gave her a birthday card, and put in Champaign for her on a tray with cup cakes. THIS is above and beyond service. If I ever come back, I WILL be staying here and I'd suggest this place over any other hotel in the area. Thank you Omni Royal Crescent Hotel. You have a fan for life.

Gorgeous hotel! Close to the casino. Convenient valet parking. Friendly staff. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. I was surprised how quiet it was as well.

Lovely, hotel, GREAT staff, very clean room and pretty! We booked this hotel for a 1 night stay after a Saints game for my husbands birthday. We live only 30 minutes away but wanted to play around the Quarter to celebrate the win and his birthday. I called ahead to ask if they could leave us a little something sweet (cupcake) as a little surprise for his birthday. When we got in the room we had chilled champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and 3 huge chocolate chip cookies & a lovely card wishing him a Happy Birthday with his name printed on the card! WOW! Talk about above and beyond! Also, when we were checking out I saw the clerk give 2 little kids colorful little backpacks to use while they we're enjoying their stay in New Orleans! I mean really?!?! Who does that? The Omni Royal Crecent does! Love this hotel!

Small Hotel with good service and good food.

Here is the condensed review of our experience here at the Omni. We were given a room where the toilet had something in it. My wife flushed it and at that point it overflowed all over the room. An "engineer" was called out who sounded like he was making Frankenstein in the bathroom. The work and noises were going on (as well as a horrific smell) for 15 minutes or more. I was frustrated and concerned because we also had my 2 month old son in the room. I called down stairs and asked to me moved. They moved directly next door. This room had wet carpet and clearly I could hear that poor man trying his hardest to mind the problem in the room. Lastly, all of the vending machines were either not working or sold out. On a side note, there was also a large group around 11 pm going from floor to floor on a Scavenging hunt. It was disruptive but we didn't care because we were not even close to going to sleep. I gave 2 stars because of the price and location.

In walking distance to the french quarter! Quiet & clean place. In-hotel restaurant, only wish they had a pool! They do however have a "Roman hot tub" (10 person Jacuzzi) on the 6th floor outside of the health center (small gym) great staff!

This was a really nice hotel, it had an amazing bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The housekeeping staff was really noisy in the mornings but it was around 9. There's absolutely no free Wi-Fi in this hotel and that was the only downside.

Absolutely awesome service, they have taken care of us WELL! The day of our arrival and while on our way to N. O. They called us to make sure we didn't need anything before we arrived. When we got here they had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room. Yes, the rooms are a bit smaller than some others, but not so much that it is bad in any way. It's not like we got here and camped out in the room! What's great is that everything is well within walking distance; from Bourbon St. To the River Walk and all of the sights in downtown N. O.! We absolutely love it!

Just checking a water leak in the bathroom, they offer to change rooms but I had unpacked then AC not working, bummer! By this I am requesting another room they switched me next room and bathroom is too small, lamp in bathroom not working I am asking for a 3rd room to get switch it is 2:31am and I am here for business not fun.

The service at the front desk was great. Our room was nice. The TV wouldn't turn on right away, it had to warm up. Also only one elevator was working the entire time we were there.

I had outstanding service here, everyone at the property was so friendly and genuinely wanted to know how our trip to New Orleans was going. The rooms are great, they had all I needed which is a comfortable bed and mini fridge (for leftover drinks! ). The location is also perfect for a trip to New Orleans, you are walking distance to the French Quarter and other tourist stops in this lovely city!

Pretty nice new Orleans boutique hotel. Stayed in a stabdard room with a king bed. Room was nice and spacious with a clean batgroom. It's centrally located and about a 10 min walk from the French quarters, magazine street and bourbon street. Would recommend if you're looking for a place to stay near the French quarters without the noise.

Not bad — certainly worthy of at least 3 stars. The front desk was very friendly and helpful which puts it at 4. You can check your bags if your room isn't ready. The room was a decent size and plenty of room to walk around. I Agree with the bathroom comments, the shower glass (instead of a curtain) is terrible as water goes everywhere if its not properly positioned. AC also isn't very strong and it kept the room at 70, which is fine, but I'm fat and I like my room a little cooler than that.

I had a really unfortunate experience with this hotel and want to make sure people are aware of what happened to me before booking! I booked this hotel because I was in town for a conference and most of the other hotels were booked. The price of this hotel is much more expensive than the quality of what you get. First off, and the worst part about this booking, is that I got charged TWICE for the room, and two different amounts too! I was charged when I first booked the hotel (a month before our stay) and then again right after our stay. When I called to check why I was charged twice, they didn't answer the phone. I only got in contact with the hotel through Travelocity. The first charge was $300 more than the second charge. When I called they told me I would be refunded the first charge amount. By the time the refund came through, I realized they refunded me the lesser charge! So I had to call again… this phone call took 45 minutes to convince the hotel to refund me the additional $300. I feel cheated by this hotel and would NOT recommend booking through them. I felt sketched out by them in their ways that they tried to charge me twice without saying anything. I feel as if it's easy for them to charge people additional charges without them knowing if they aren't keeping a close look at their bank account! In the end, the hotel gets the same amount they deserve even if the customer complains.

Love the many amenities they provide in the room such as keruig coffee maker, newspaper etc. Room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

I'm currently staying here. The rooms are fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The only issue I have is the quality of the internet. It is a little spotty and takes a while for sites to load, etc. I have spoken with others and they don't have the same problem so it may just be my room. Overall the hotel is fantastic.

Nice location, convenient to Quarter, CBD, Warehouse District, and both St. Charles and Canal streetcars. Rooms on the small side. Bed on the very small side, and uncomfortable. Hotel decor is nice. Nice bathroom, good shower.

Nice rooms and service. Some parts of the hotel were getting a fresh coat of paint while I stayed, but everything was still nice looking despite being a work in progress.

2nd stay at this hotel, the staff is absolutely wonderful. The only problem we had this time was that the toilet was clogged before we arrived. The room however was really nice and the bed was unbelievably comfortable.

I just got back from a 4 day, 3 night stay in NOLA. The doorman and front desk staff are very nice; you cannot beat the location — on the edge of all the action but far enough away from Bourbon Street to avoid the crazies! I was however disappointed in the maid service because after leaving the hotel in the morning we came back at 4:30 in the afternoon to discover the maid service had not yet visited our room. When we called the front desk, they said it's policy to have until 5pm each day to clean the room. They weren't even on our floor yet. They are also stingy with the k-cups left in the room.

I lived in Omni from M to F. I realized instantly that the front desk is racist black/hispanic women who allegedly did not respond to my reasonable request, such as some drinking water. The first time I called she told me the water will be served in 10 minutes, half hour later when I called her again she found out it's me and simply did not say a word on purpose. A hour and half later when a Hispanic waiter finally send a pot of water up looking very unfriendly, I found it tasted a strange smell. The two bed room is not equipped with cooler. The Wi-Fi sucks here it disconnected for couple of times per day that lasts a few hours. Bed mattress is too soft for me. Breakfast is unreasonably expensive. The only good impression this hotel left me with is the hospitality of the porters. I am definitely not recommending my friends of this hotel.
