My rooms was clean and deorized. I slept well everday mattress firm with support. Digital elevators less contact with buttons. great stay.

The staffing knows their business and courteous to a fault. There’s over one thousand delegates and the staff are taking care of us.

Asked for our room to be cleaned and replenished two days in a row and got nothing. We were finally able to get towels and they were delivered to us in a trash bag. Went to the hotel convenience store and stood at he counter with our purchase and waited for several minutes while the cashier did other things and when she finally came to check us out she literally looked past us and told the lady behind us she could come on up and pay. We left without our purchase. The hotel was HORRIBLE! Never again!

Asked daily for them to clean our room to no avail. Finally just gave up and had to get some clean towels on our own. Went to the little convince store they had to get a sprite and the cashier completely ignored me and waved other people in front of me that were of the same race, finally had to just walk out and go to a convince store in the city. Completely appalled and my first time dealing with racism. I was shocked at the poor service and will never return to a Hyatt.

What a great hotel.! Everything was on point! I loved that they had a Starbucks on site.

It's very clean and has everything you need. It would be nice to know that there are no microwaves in the rooms. That was a little bit of an inconvenience as well as not knowing there is a ice machine and microwave on your floor.

The Front Desk Staff IS AMAZING! ❤️❤️ The Front Lobby is GORGEOUSLY designed, I instantly had to take a photo of the INCREDIBLE Chandelier and Piano to send to My grandmother so she can see it (they’re 1 of our favorite things of beauty). ❤️ The Clear Elevators make you feel like Royalty❤️❤️ The rooms are BEAUTIFUL and very clean, with beds you’ll NEVER want to climb out of (My Husband and I instantly fell absolutely IN LOVE with the super comfy pillows and we’re hoping to find out and possibly order the same brand, Etc. For our home. ❤️❤️). The Showers in the King Bed rooms are BEAUTIFUL, spacious, and the water quality and on hand bathing products are SUPER LUXURIOUS (My skin felt like PURE SILK after using them with the PERFECT water) and SMELL BEAUTIFUL. ❤️❤️ I stepped out of that shower feeling like I just bathed in an expensive Specialty Spa Bath Meant For a Queen. ❤️ Now I’m hoping to find the exact brand of the Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash that was in My Room so that I can possibly order it for My Shower at home. ❤️❤️ We were only 1 nighters for the TOOL concert, but it was definitely instantly a Truly Memorable Stay. I definitely will recommend this hotel to everyone for sure. ❤️

We love the Hyatt! Can’t wait for COVID-19 to be controlled so some of the restrictions can be lifted.

Check in took an hour. No room maintenance of ANY kind. Had to literally beg for clean towels, tissue. Finally after a day they brought a few towels. Had to buy tissue, cups etc. No hot water. The rudest staff I've ever encountered. Mask mandate is a joke. Pick and choose who its forced on. This was over the course of a 5 night stay. Run to any other place to stay. Our bed had A USED RAZOR in the sheets. Nasty. I think they rent by the hour.

This place tops the list of hotel stays. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is stunning. Rooms are beautiful with city views 27 stories high. Great location-less than a mile from the French Quarter. Will definitely be coming back for another visit!

Very clean. Very nice staff. Very friendly and patient. We were very frustrated with the elevator system at first but then we understood. It took us 20 mins to get from the front desk up to our room lol. The one thing I would say is better map for the hotel. But definitely would stay again!

Great experience! We are locals but stayed at the Hotel after the Queen concert. The rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. We stayed on the club level (27th floor) and had access to the Regency Club. The views were amazing! The breakfast was wonderful too. The valet, bell hop, front desk, etc were all very nice, friendly and respectful. Overall a great experience.

Great staff, food and nice location.

I haven’t even gotten checked in yet, and this place already seems like a disaster. Two valet employees ignored me. Drove around the block and found a garage. Who knows if it’s connected to Hyatt; it just said “hotel”. Lobby is a madhouse, crazy long check-in line.

Hyatt Regency New Orleans is beautiful and the staff couldn't have been nicer. I highly recommend them for your next stay in New Orleans.

Stayed here for a conference I was attending. Beautiful hotel. Almost 1, 200 rooms! I usually check the bed/sheets when I arrive into the room and I didn't this time. Didn't check until I was ready to go to bed. Small area on the sheet was covered by what looked like mold. I called and was told someone would be up immediately. After 20 min I called and told the person no one had showed. She apologized and said someone would be up. After another 10-15 min I called and told her to forget it as I was tired and going to sleep. We left the room the next morning to go to a session and when we came back the bed had been made, but no one changed the sheets. I called and she said someone would be up. As we were coming out a lady was there and I showed her the sheet. It was changed by the time we came back to the room. I did receive a call from the manager of housekeeping and he apologized and offered "turn down" service for that evening which included water, chocolate and ice bucket. I put the water in the fridge and it was gone the next time someone came in to clean the room. I didn't bother to call. The places to eat were expensive. They had bottled water in the fridge when we arrived, but since we weren't in the "elite club", they charged $4 for each one. Needless to say the full bottles were sitting in the fridge when we left. Water, a necessity of life, was not offered. No drinking fountain and no water where the ice machine was located.

Me and four of my friends came for a conference. We had trouble with the elevators too,,, short to say we have to go up and down couple of times before figuring it out … it was a learning process and we were laughing about it… The only thing we need to ask is for the maintenance to look into the Airconditioning, when it starts blowing off cool air it would also start making a noise that affects our sleep… But everything else is a superb. Thanks.

This is located right behind (or in front of) the Mercedes Benz Stadium, so if you're a football fan and need a place to stay, this is the place. A solid 4 star, staff was friendly, valet crew were very friendly, wait staff also very friendly. The lunch buffet was great. I enjoyed the dessert and grilled vegetables. The only complaint I have is that the room I had (#1219) had the air conditioning right above the TV, so when it would go on, I would have to turn up the volume, and when it would go off, vice versa. Otherwise, it's a very nice hotel.

The staff were amazing! Everyone was super nice and super helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable. Plenty of outlets and charging ports. Mini fridge. Locking safe. Iron and ironing board. My room had nice tiled walk in shower but my co-worker had an older tub. Walking distance to the French Quarter, without walking through any areas that seem safety compromised. The elevators are… challenging.

Beautiful modern hotel with great rooms and super friendly staff. On site dining options are excellent! Perfect views from the high floors and the decor and architecture is brilliant. A lot of these reviews seem exaggerated or from ultra picky or petty people. My experience was not indicative of the bad reviews. As a member with high status level I was upgraded to both a high floor and a large, spacious suite. I was also allowed to check in early to match my early flight arrival. I was also given a birthday amenity and it was heart warming that my hotel brand knew it was my birthday. I will always recommend Hyatt because they truly care about the guests.

Very nice hotel! I went to an accompanying conference in the hotel and really enjoyed the central location. The hotel itself is very well laid out with several restaurants including a starbucks, a pool, and a work out room. Staff is incredibly friendly and willing to give great recommendations. I would highly recommend getting a room on a higher floor, it's worth the view alone! The elevators are very efficient but a tad tricky, luckily there is typically staff nearby to help with any trouble!

The elevator system sucks! It took me 39 minutes to get up to my room and 30 minutes to get to the lobby everytime I had to leave and come back. Then I left some clothes hanging in the closet and unfortunately did not realize it until I got back home. I called and have spoken with multiple ppl and it was advised that nothing has been turned in or was found. I know for a fact that I left my brand new clothes in the closet and they have not been turned in so that means that The housekeeping hires theives and dishonest people. That is unacceptable.

Best elevator service, I’ve had the opportunity to use. Modern state of the art, and if you’re confused, they assign staff to assist you or members of your party. The hotel is central located and spacious. Conferencing operation are wonderful and customer friendly. Facility is clean and caters to any request you make. Rooms are quiet, spacious and user friendly.
If you have a taste for an item, they prolly make and serve within one of their restaurants. Room service quality and service is very customer friendly. I failed to bring it to their attention that I was a Vetran but heard afterwards that they give a military discount.
It was a wonderful and memorable stay.

The hotel was great. Rooms were awesome, dining options great, large meeting spaces and great amenities. However, parking options are valet ($50) and self park ($25). Reasonable for the city, but signage is terrible getting to and from self parking. It is very difficult to find from street level and getting from the garage to hotel is extraordinarily difficult, with no signs. Hotel employees also do know how to get there or back. Overall, a great hotel, but getting in and out was a horrible experience and took 20 minutes each time. Bottom line, pay the valet.

Great service. Beautiful, clean rooms. Elevator situation takes time to get use to and is very slow but not wild definitely recommend this hotel. Easy to walk to restaurants and bourbon street if you don't mind walking a mile. Everyone working at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel was nice, rooms were nice but chrome fixtures are rusty and make it look ghetto. Small bathroom, but comfy beds. Employees are miserable and rude, except for front desk Bobby, he was awesome. The absolute worst thing about this hotel was the elevators. You go up to a little computer and enter what floor you want to go to. It then assigns you to one of the 8 elevators. It opens, after an average of 15 minutes, and it will take you to your floor. But when it's super crowded (like at dinnertime with 2 conventions there), the elevator system gets "overloaded" and it says, over and over: please try again. Once you are in the elevator, there are no floor buttons, so you cant just get in one and go to your floor. I don't know what was wrong with the old way of simply waiting for an elevator normally?!

This hotel is… fine, I guess. But not great and certainly not a good value for the money. Maybe it just hasn't met MY needs very well. I needed to find a spot to get some work and reading done, and this was certainly NOT a good place for that. I went out by the pool, and everything was FILTHY — — garbage on every table. Inside the hotel itself, there are almost no places to sit down with a colleague at a table (unless you mean inside a restaurant or bar) … and that is very odd for a conference hotel. The rooms are certainly nothing special — — you can probably find a room as nice or better with a few blocks. For the record, the conference facilities themselves seem to be nice. And hotel has sort of a nice story behind it, having been closed for quite a few years after Katrina.

Luxury hotel, fantastic welcome, hosting restaurants and even a starbucks I have rarely been so well served in the US. Count a fifteen minutes walk to the old square.

We ended up here after our reservation was overbooked elsewhere. We loved it. Couldn't have had a better breakfast buffet anywhere else. The rooms were big, clean and with STARBUCKS coffee in their coffee pots. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We will book directly with them next time.

Staff is friendly Hotel is clean Orientation in the hotel isn't ideal — better plans would be nice. Decor is decent for a hotel — ugly carpet but well. Rooms are average sized and clean. The beds are really comfy and bathrooms are clean. The gym has a nice view butdoesnt have a large range of equipment. The parking is 25$ per day without valet… A bit of a rip of as the hotel doesn't offer any discount.

Very enjoyable stay with Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The quality of room, bed, sleep and environment are superb and comfy, the lobby is grandeur and concierge, bellmen and receptionists are very friendly, helpful and cute ;-). The hotel is also shown in the movie "Girls Trip", which is one of my favourite comedy films. I love this hotel, definitely will stay again once I come back to New Orleans for fun.

Had a reservation at the Hyatt for the Bayou Country Superfest. The staff was very friendly, but the hotel left a bit to be desired. The room was hot when we got in, called maintenance, the guy pulled out two filthy filters from the A/C and rinsed them off in the bathroom. Told us to call if that didn't work. There was a used tampon on the balcony, and the tub didn't drain. By the time all three of us took a shower, the tub was filled to the brim. When we returned from the concert at 12:30, starving, we called the 24/7 room service, held for about 45 minutes, only to find out (after my husband went down to scrounge up some food), that they were too busy and had closed the restaurants. That would have been nice to leave that message on the phone. Bed was comfortable, but the room was not worth the money.

Awesome stay. Lovely decor of the lobby, conf room floor, and room. The Regency Club is a must for any stay. Staff were super polite and helpful. Personalized elevator system is fantastic. Highly recommend.

The location is convenient (Super Dome is a 5 minute walk) but the rooms are not in the best shape and it is a massive hotel (which I consider a negative). Elevators were frustratingly slow around the time the event we were in town for started because of the volume of people trying to use them. Staff can be very helpful but at check in we did not have one of the helpful staff members. Valet was also very slow. The rooms have nice decor but we did have issues with the air-conditioning. They are trying to modernize with upgrades to the lobby, elevators and the room decor but I think the age of this hotel shows through very clearly.

Beautiful hotel about a mile away from the French Quarter, French Market, and Insectarium. Stayed in a room with double queens beds. Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. We would highly recommend it. The building itself is very well designed. Also close to the sports arenas.

Every year my company puts us up in this hotel and it never disappoints. The staff is very professional and hospitable and the amenities are quite impressive. There's just about something for everybody within the hotel, the place is huge with multiple restaurants and bars. I love their breakfast and lunch buffet, a bit more upscale than you would find and most other hotels. The fact that this place is within a short walking distance from the Smoothie King Center and the Superdome, makes this place an absolute must stay while in New Orleans.

My overall experience is good I just think the parking is expensive. The location is not bad. Everyone seems friendly. I really enjoyed the live entertainment, and the food was top quality an flavorful. How ever I did have a problem with the a. C in the room it never got cold in the room until I dropped the temperature way down. But overall I didn't have any problems with checking in, or staff everyone was so New Orleans (really friendly) Every time I travel here from Houston Tx for my Anniversary or to just relax for the weekend this is where I love to stay.

Great morning buffet. Getting this because the hotel was fully booked and we were placed beds in a living room of a suite.

8:03 pm — So far not impressed and we have not even slept the first night here. The room had used lotion and conditioner in it. When asked to replace it, they brought more, but didn't remove the used. Highly disappointed. "Room service is on its way. " I will change my review as this is handled. New cleaning person came in around 9pm and STILL did NOT remove the nasty, used items. It is now 12:08 am and the problem has not yet been corrected. Fridge is a Cooler that may only get to 45 degrees. Not cold enough to prevent food poisoning.

An excellent venue for the conference I attended. There were several excellent dining choices within the hotel and the decor throughout was excellent. The location was easy to access and within walking distance of the French Quarter and a vast array of food options.

Great location, excellent staff, with a great view of the Superdome. From a technical logical standpoint this hotel is superior to most others in the area; however, you will likely get lost and this hotel on your first attempt trying to navigate through it. Highly recommend asking a staff member to show you around this hotel. When we first arrived we were given a one bed room when we were supposed to have a two-bedroom. A staff member brought us our new keys and walked us to our proper hotel room. They corrected the mistake in a very timely manner.

Hands down one of the best places I've ever stayed at. I've traveled extensively and I've never had such amazing service. This place is decorated beautifully and the staff was awesome! I highly recommend staying here if you are going to stay in New Orleans.

I am happy with my stay. The hotel has very neat architecture and the staff was friendly. I was offered the option of a queen bed or double bed. I chose the queen and the room was on the smaller side but fine for our stay.

Everything we are in the area of this hotel and happen to want a coffee we go to the Hyatt Regency to order from the swanky Starbucks inside. We have stayed at the hotel for our wedding as well so my experiences here are all pleasant. The staff are also courteous.

This hotel is amazing! The service is incredible here. Everyone from the valet to the front desk. They have gone above and beyond for our stay. Explaining the valet pricing and safety to letting is check in early. I would highly recommend this place for any visit to New Orleans. I will certainly be back!

Stayed here for a conference and loved it. Very close to many attractions, including the NFL and NBA sports complexes right around the corner — a couple minutes' walking distance. Parking is expensive and is not directly owned by the hotel, but there is plenty of street parking for up to 2 hours if you're just stopping by. Lots of spacious meeting rooms, east access to everything, hotel rooms are clean and well-appointed. Check out the outside heated pool on the 5th deck — the nighttime view of the lit pool is also really cool!

Great beds, nice environment and amenities. Convenient to French quarter and other attractions. Mercedes Benz Superdome and Smoothie King Center are across the street. A bit clumsy to navigate initially. Housekeeping is great, attentive, and helpful. Easy check in.

Really elegant, comfortable, and clean hotel with friendly staff. It was extremely convenient getting around since there's streetcar stops within walking distance. I would recommend getting a daily jazzy pass so you can come and go as you please during the day. Great views of the city as well.

Attended a convention over the weekend and enjoyed our time. Spacious event space, lots of room in the lobby, etc. Only issues were traffic and parking issues caused by a marathon one day and a Saints game on the other, but those are not the fault of the hotel. Dining options were good, but I think they were not prepared for all the kids looking for chicken nuggets and cheese pizza, perhaps not something they see often.

We met with hotel guests for drinks I'm the bar. There was a jazz band and singer playing which was unexpected and very entertaining. Great food and atmosphere. A little pricey but worth the extra green. Get your valet ticket validated at the bar for free parking.

In the same parking lot as the superdome where the saints play as well as the stadium that is home to the pelicans. 10 to 15 minute walk to the French quarter and bourbon street. Spacious room that are quiet and comfortable. Great beds. The hotel itself is beautiful with great dining and drinking options as well as its of convention space.

Let me start off by saying that I’ve never written a review before for a hotel. With that being said, I feel compelled to write this review on behalf of the horrible and unprofessional experience I had at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans. I arrived with a large group of over 100 students, and we had made the reservations 10 months prior. We were told to check in between 2 and 3 pm. As I write this review at 5:53 pm, I have been sitting on the floor of the conference room for the past 4 hours. No employee has been able to offer us any help — in fact, they’ve remained outside of this room and won’t even confront the hundreds of adults whose plans they have ruined. We have a limited amount of time in this city before we return to Florida, and have paid a hefty amount of money for this road trip to even be possible. It is completely unacceptable that we have been treated like this with no answers. With reservations set almost a year in advance, there is NO excuse for a 3 hour wait while hotel rooms are STILL being put together. I really have no words for my disappointment in this hotel and will absolutely be reaching out to a representative of this company for answers and consolation. If you have time sensitive plans and need to be checked into your hotel within 4 hours, you may want to look elsewhere.

It's a beautiful hotel with plenty of seating areas in public spaces. Even when slammed the staff were very polite and professional. Everything was immaculately clean. No complaints here.

I went in to the hotel to the in-house Starbucks when I was serving on jury duty at the nearby court house and on a lunch break. I did not stay at the hotel so I cannot comment on the rooms — but every other area I went to was immaculately clean and stylish. There was a professional convention going on and everything was set up very nicely.

Very nice hotel in Downtown Nola with very good service. Valet parking team was awesome. Never waited 5 minutes to get my car. They were always asking if we needed directions or recommendations for food, drinks, sight seeing, etc. Alexis E. Was amazing and assisted with all our needs during our stay. Brizeth D. At front desk was also awesome. She was extremely patient and helpful. Sports bar on 3rd floor had very good Sushi. Only complaint was that shower was weak with absolutely no water pressure. For some reason all water in Nola left some type of residue on skin when bathing or washing hands. You had to really use your towel when drying. We thank the hotel for being pet friendly for the week of Hurricane Irma.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good food and some amazing views. The hotel itself is eye candy and enjoyable to wander around. Fairly easy to navigate once you get your bearings. Is it bad that there being a mini fridge in the room made me happy? The maid service was pretty top notch.

Excellent hotel. Beautiful lobby with great restaurants and bars inside the hotel. Pool area is nice though pool is on the smaller side for such a large hotel. Checked in on 8/1 and had problems with air conditioner making a loud noise when running and staff went above and beyond to remedy the situation. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful from bellhops, front desk, room service, restaurant/bar staff. Awesome views from inside the hotel and riding the elevator is even fun with its open view. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Room clean but small bathroom. Comfy bed, great views of the city. Really appreciated multiple electrical outlets in convenient places throughout room. New touchpad elevator system seems to be confusing guests and there's not really any instructions displayed. Did not use enough guest services to provide comment.

There are several Pokestops inside the hotel which have lures almost every hour. Minus: The kiosks self check in did not work. Starbuck was hidden and not visible. Plus: Other than that, everything was great. The interior design is grand. Services went smoothly. Complementary water at front desk.

Hotel was amazing. The staff was very pleasant to talk to and helpful. The room was clean. The restaurants weren't very busy so we tried them for the first time. Usually we are Leary to eat in hotel restaurants, but we where amazed. The food was of the local taste and very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel especially for Hyatt Passport members. Nice breakfast in the mornings.

Attending conference, staying at hotel. It has a very "Las vegas" feel with lots of restaurants, bars, and meeting spaces. Very nice, clean, food is a little expensive but not outside of what you would expect in a hotel like this.

First time in New Orleans and I've had a horrible experience at this hotel. I arrived last night to find out that the hotel was fully booked dispite my reservation already being made and paid for. They tried to put me and my friends in basically a living room with no beds. Just a couple cots. Mind you I'm traveling with two men. With no help of the hotel I went to the Hyatt in the French Quarter and was able to stay the night. I'm now back today and my room still isn't available and there is no end in sight. Not a big fan of you Hyatt.

Huge hotel! The room was a little small, and to order food you had to use a remote to order food. It took sometime and was not user friendly. The views from the gym are really good. The bars and restaurants offering everything we needed.

Room was not clean. I stayed there with my 10 months old baby. He crawls and puts everything he can grab in his mouth. He found a tablet on the carpet and immediately put it in his mouth. By the time I could take it out it he had had half of it. God only know what that tablet was. Totally unacceptable. Then he crawled and slit his finger with something sharp on the floor. How hard is it to vacuum the floor I ask? Also the carpet was horrible horrible. It was bleeding color. The carpet was black so were our soles and my crawler's knees and feet. Food was ok. We ordered sweet potato fries among other stuff and it was so stale we left all of it as if. Rest of the food was just ok. In house restaurant always has a waiting time of an hour or so be it breakfast or dinner. Do not go here. Do not waste your money. Long weekends are a BIG NO.

The hotel is great and excellent service. I forgot my razor and when I went to the front desk and ask for help the lady who was helping me not only provide me with 2 razors but she gave me a shaving cream as well. Even the cleaning people were very polite and friendly.

Great stay. Comfortable beds, good price. Very nice inside the facilities. Just a few things needs fixing like a big water stain on the ceiling and some missing slats on the wooden fence surrounding the upper border around the pool area. Also the distance from the French Quarter is a tad far however there is a trolley stop in front of the hotel.

Memorial weekend has turned into a nightmare! This over priced hotel charges you$50 per day to hold off your credit card/debit card for any accidents which is fine if the lady checking me in would have told me! Then went to room where I had to do a quick clean myself then the bed is terrible. Next night we ordered from house to get food poisoning. Then the next day I asked the maid to clean, was gone all day to get back and discovere that they couldn't even do that. Don't waste your time.

Very comfortable the rooms and very nice the hotel.

Service Personnel very friendly and helpful. Nice clean interior. Shower water pressure merely adequate. Nice Starbucks, bars, and restaurants on site. Came here on business, but would come for leisure.

Room was a tad bit small but that's my only complaint. Service was excellent and everything was beautiful and we kept.

Tried phoning the hotel regarding my upcoming reservation. Impossible. Circular messaging cycles you back over and over again. No human available. Amazing! The GM should call the published number sometime and share the pain then make changes.

Beautiful hotel. Great service from the staff. Elevators can be confusing, but are very fast. Outdoor pool area is nice. Room was well maintained, and lots of outlets to charge all the electronics. Does not have a restaurant on site that younger kids would enjoy, but staff is great at finding nearby options.

The hotel was chaotic. Directions around hotel were unclear and the layout was confusing. Room service closed at midnight. Starbucks employees were incredibly rude. Bartender at pool bar was solo and inexperienced. Room was clean and comfortable, but overall the hotel was way overpriced for the experience. I would not stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay after an initiate mixup concerning our length of stay. The manager who I only know as Dan went out of his way to make things right. I could not believe how he bent over backwards and reponded to our dilemma. I have have never been so well treated at a hotel. michael g. Bishop.

I went to eat lunch at the 8 Block for a business meeting. The buffet was good and had wide variety of options. I especially like the mango pie.

The Hyatt Regency is a very nice hotel and one should expect it to be a bit on the pricey side; especially if events are going on. I chose Hyatt because it was cheaper than the other hotels around the area; plus it's a short walk to the Super Dome. THE GOOD: *Cheaper than most of the other hotels in the downtown area. *5 to 15 minutes walking distance to restaurants, pubs, & tourist attractions. *Clean and elegant; it has a nice stylish appearance. *Zero noise while in the hotel room from outside walls. If there was noise, it wasn't noticeable. THE BAD: *Wait-Staff table checking was poor. 15 minutes just to place an order… granted both times were busy. Regardless, this is a poor reflection on Management not scheduling more Servers to wait tables. *Breakfast buffet is insanely expensive! $60 for two people. (Save your money — NOT worth it) *No Indoor Pool, Sauna or Hot-Tubs. They do have a pool outside; but it was closed for the winter months. CONCLUSION: In my opinion, this is a 3-star stylish hotel that is too expensive for what it offers; other than the fact that it is cheaper than the other surrounding hotels. Would I stay here again, yes. BUT; I will look else where first, and will even spend a little more to stay somewhere else.

Excellent hotel. Staff is very friendly and will help you without hesitation. Rooms are very accessible and there's plenty of things to do in the hotel.

In January, the prices were so low, I thought it was a misprint ($100 per night). For a single, the room was small, but well furnished (good for business, excellent Wi-Fi), clean and very comfortable. Where they "get you" is the food — nothing special and over priced. Most eating establishments are 10-20 min away by foot.

Very nice hotel, 15 minute walk to the French Quarter. Has great restaurants and bars on site. Easy walk to the Superdome. Corner king room was spacious enough. Beds are fairly comfortable.

Upon check-in they told me no rooms where available even though I had a 4 month old reservation. They upsold me to a more expensive room increasing my stay. I later had that removed, but it was an ordeal. I stayed here for 5 nights and reported an issue with the lights in the bathroom dangling by wires and a toilet seat that broke off. They fixed the toilet seat, but the dangling light persisted the entire stay. My water glasses were never removed and given new ones and my bar glasses that I brought up to my room stayed for 4 days. The customer service from the desk is lacking.

If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. Brian McFadden who works maintenance came up to our room, number 1625 to fix the toilet as it wasn't flushing. He promptly came in a took care of the issue. Very nice and personable. Excellent, updated hotel close to the Superdome — the place to stay for a Saints game or other events being held at this venue. While there aren't many tourist spots immediately adjacent to the hotel, streetcar access, pedicabs, Uber, and taxis can take you very quickly to the French Quarter, WWII museum, Harrrah's casino, and any of the other locations you'd likely want to visit (all within a 1.5 mile radius).

We reserved a king. They did not hold our reservation and oversold the hotel. They told us we were lucky to get a room at all, despite our making the reservation nine months ago. They gave us a room with two doubles instead. When we got to the room, we found out it was an accessible room. One of the beds smelled like urine and the shower was a handheld that sprayed all over the bathroom … by design. They offered us "free breakfast" that wasn't even worth free. It had cold bacon, no fresh eggs, buffet only, and burnt coffee. I regret staying here and would recommend anywhere else.

It's a beautiful hotel. The room is great the view is the superdome and downtown, however New Orleans doesn't have a great skyline. There are more then enough places to eat and the service is amazing. I came down for a wedding and had to carry all the groomsmens tuxedos and a bell boy spotted me and helped me out. Great service. The beds are so comfortable didn't have one sleepless night. We walked to bourbon street only took 15-20 min. All in all great experience.

The rooms have no towels… Bad service.

OH 4 Diamond Star Hotel! no indeed worst service ever, Room coffee maker broke! cooler my goodness better you bring your own ice chest, bellman takes another 40 minutes after they told you that it will takes 30 minutes I rather than to get my own luggage cart! not bellman's fault, remember front desks/guest services the main part when it comes to hotel businesses. My experience here @ Hyatt Regency New Orleans makes me not to stay ever again in this 4 Diamond Hotel. Bad, Poor, Worst service! Yes I really agree that they overcharge your credit/debit card with no explanation when you checked in!

As soon as I arrived in my room, I noticed that the toilet was running very loudly. When I tried to flush, it would not work. I called downstairs and the Front Desk did not answer so I tried concierge and they did not answer either. I had to deal with this toilet not always flushing and running constantly for 3 nights! When I went to check out, I explained my problems. As we were trying to check out, there were other problems with my price. I had to forward the hotel manager an email of my booking so she could help because it was charging me almost double what I was promised when I booked. And I'm a Hyatt Gold Passport Member! Finally the manager, Samantha said she would refund my bill and give my points back that I had used to book the room. When I got home, I realized she had not awarded back all my points. I called on May 25 to speak with her directly and she said she would call me by the end of the day. I emailed her last week when I had never heard back from her and now today I still have gotten no response for Samantha or anyone at the hotel. So unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to others based on the lack of communication and responsibility by the staff. You're much better off staying at the Hyatt Convention Center in New Orleans — their staff is fantastic!

I was checked in FLAWLESSLY by a very nice lady by the name of Jackie. She was so accommodating. I had booked a room in advance and she upgraded me out of pure generousity. I spoke with an incredibly professional gentleman named Thomas prior to coming and he set me up with a great view room overlooking the Super Dome. He was incredible!. He set me up with room 2502 (which is on the 25th floor). The Super Dome is beautifully lit at night!. The hotel is very large! unless you purchase like a suite the rooms are pretty much standard hotel room sizes. Cons: THE POOL is WAY to small for such a huge hotel. There is no breakfast discounts of any kind for the customers. PARKING! If you have a car hear is the deal. DON'T park at the hotel its anywhere from $30bucks to $40bucks per day (depending of valet). Right around the corner from the hotel is a public parking lot CONNECTED TO THE HOTEL for $25 per day, HOWEVER if your there over the weekend PARK ON THE STREET ON SUNDAYS! because parking is free every Sunday on the street. Some more PROS: you can walk to French quarters its only about a 15/20 minute walk to get to Bourbon Street. There is a taxi stand right in front of the hotel. You also can take the trolley bus ride to French Quarters. THOMAS at the hotel sent a wonderful "Thank You" for staying gift to the room for being a great customer (which was very nice). I would definately stay at the Hyatt again on my next trip to New Orleans.

I love it! we have 2 more nights here and already the check in was great and the but the parking was hell and expensive the hotel makes you park at a lot they don't own and it's 27$ a night and if you move your car you pay again smh other than that great music played and food.

No complaints, Great staff, good food and parked next door for $27 a day. The young lady at the front desk named Jasmine was Great dealing with a large group. We were a very demanding group coming from Georgia and she took care of all of us with smile. Anyone that can handle the Smith/Reid need to be praised.

The hotel was nice, but valet was ridiculous. They wanted $50 to valet my truck and the lighted/gated lot adjacent to the hotel was only $20. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Wi-Fi was buggy.

It is a nice hotel with good food but expensive, as hotel food usually is. I thought the roms were clean until I jumped in the shower and seen mold all across the bottom of the shower curtain liner, I jumped out and left called and they replaced the liner. So check your shower liners.

I have stayed here both pre-Katrina and now that it is fully renovated. It is amazing. The hotel is state-of-the-art. The regency club has amazing food and great Abita beers to choose from. Its my favorite place to stay in this city with easy access to all the great attractions in NOLA.

Big sprawling hotel right next to the Superdome. I imagine it's quite different on weekends during the football season, but we got a great deal, and the place was energetic, but not crowded. The elevators can be easily over-run with big crowds and become a bit of an annoyance and the stairs are not generally a good option to get to the lobby or other public floors. Staff was very responsive, professional and generally nice with our kids. $10 cab ride to/from the French Quarter. Street cars are a more functional option than they were a few years ago. General NO pro-tip: Buy a day-pass if you're going to be taking more than one trip on buses or street cars.
