Reviews of Harrah's New Orleans Hotel & Casino 4*
The customer service was horrible. We gambled for 2 hrs and no one bothered to offer us drinks. We brought it to their attention and they mentioned being understaffed. We ask the lady if she could send someone over and she couldn’t guarantee. Went to the bar and mentioned that we had been waiting and they didn’t care and made us pay. I did notice that the waitresses were not working the casino they were grouped up, just strolling around. I also noticed that no one had drinks. If you want people to pay just say that, you shouldn’t advertise free drinks and not be willing to give them out. Worst experience ever and will not be returning.
Very rude and racist staff! I was refused a complementary drink and rudely accused of “Trying to get free drinks, ” because I decided to move to a different machine and cashed out my ticket before the drink made it.
Great Venue to host your wedding, private party or corporate event in the heart of New Orleans. Amber and her staff make sure they take care of every little detail for the event. The food was absolutely amazing chicken and bacon sliders, 3 different pastas. I would highly recommend hosting your next event at Harrah’s Hotel New Orleans.
Great times! Cool atmosphere.
Nice place had a good time ate food and won a little money.
The location is great and we had a winner way to go Kim Happy Birthday.
Clean non-smoking casino. They offer certain drinks free while you are playing games. I’d definitely come back.
Love the place front desk gave me and amazing room with a nice view great people will go back concierge was also very helpful they called me send my perfume through Fedx casino was nice and I play all night.
This may be the worst hotel experience ever, and we haven't even made it into our room yet. Check in line was over an hour long. A fight actually broke out in the lobby. Once we finally checked in, an "undetermined" amount of time until we have a room, no tike quoted, as rooms were not ready. Total additional wait time: 4 hours and counting. COMP YOUR GUESTS! When you know you are horribly shortstaffed, adjust accordingly and tell your guests ahead of time so we can decide if we want to go through the hell of your service.
Disgusting casino. Rude staff. I don’t recommend you even considering this casino. Horrific is a one way to put it.
Great staff and such a large place beautiful.
Unfortunately their staff can't do simple math when it comes to counting 72 hours for a negative covid test. If they can't calculate that I'd watch your money here! Definitely would not recommend!
Awesome place just wish they had strip poker.
Flew down from stl on vacation. We need a spot to have drinks. We don’t gamble much so we just hung out. Prices were very reasonable and it was a blast.
Staff, minus one lady, were just rude! No smiles. Angrily provide information as though you supposed to already know. Actually, Sil was the best! No towels in rooms. When we call for towels and toilet paper, we wait, not knowing they have come by and hung outside the door, without notification. Rooms were very mediocre for cost. Vending machines on each floor were empty or broken. No room service at all. Rooms do not have microwaves and the coffee machine is in the bathroom! Wth? I will not go outta my way to stay here again!
Very clean and nice. Some machines didn't work.
Great cocktail service from the waitresses.
Great food, beautiful hotel and a casino a win win for the whole family…
Absolutely gorgeous place wonderful people working at casino, husband was very happy it is a smoke-free environment, My first time in NOLA and I absolutely love it, came out a winner at the casino.
Wonderful. Great room and view.
Great atmosphere, good drinks, good fun.
May as well throw your money away. Very little if any return. The hotel was very nice and the staff was courteous.
Very clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. Great food close by.
We love this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Very warm inviting spacious atmosphere so much fun Harris is a place to get away relax and a joy it’s like a comfortable paradise so much fun romantic as well.
Casino :No wins on slots and you can order a drink but they never bring it. It is a pretty casino. Staff isn't very friendly. Good trick! Hotel rooms are nice.
Mask police came and said I was drinking coffee wrong — moved mask wrong.
Very beautiful casino! Lots of games and great restaurants you can get comped food in!
Was robbed in the casino, Anthony in Security and Marshall in VIP services says nothing they can do. They had video of thief but would not call police or give me video. Do not go here.
Such a nice facility not to mention you can look right out the window into the gulf of mexico and this is quite a spacious suite!
Went to the casino and there were no winners during the 3 hours I was participating. Decor was nice and there were plenty of options… just no winners. Sad.
Everything was great. Food was on point rooms are very spacious & I love how everything is seperated.
Great service and the beds are comfy.
Great customer service and free drinks all day long.
Great place to win MONEY… great atmosphere… food is good too.
We love this this place. Beautiful view of the river. Very friendly staff.
A large variety of machines. They have designated smoking areas outside with machines you won't find inside. SUPER fast to get a drink in these areas. The machines do very well there too. They have heaters for when it gets cold outside too. Enjoyed myself there.
Nice staff nice accommodations had a great time.
Great Service there! Fast svs on drinks at the games!
Great atmosphere and food. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in New Orleans.
Awesome atmosphere. Lots of games and food options.
Slots and Poker! Nice staff!
Great place to visit! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Very friendly staff. Great variety of slots. Ordering drinks on the machine rather than waiting for a server to come around was nice.
Beautiful casino. Lots to see and do and EAT! The staff was very friendly!
Awesome place! Loved the atmosphere, very entertaining… Never been in a casino that had a live band inside it… 5 stars The slot machines were very entertaining enjoyed the food and the drinks… I will be back…
Of all Caesars properties, New Orleans is my favorite.
A few great people, a couple good ones and the place needs some good restaurants.
Really good food would make this place awesome!
Rooms are decent, but the employees are what keep me coming from Houston to NOLA.
In a great location to walk to the popular areas of NO. Cassino is great something for everyone from slots to poker tournaments. The buffet is always good if you're looking for somewhere to eat you never leave hungry. Accommodates smokers with outside gambling areas that are fully air conditioned.
Parking is $30, but if you gamble for 30 minutes it is free. Next, the club Masquerade is awesome. The DJ's are always good and mix old school music in with the videos. The small restaurant's inside need to work on customer service but the customer service of the casino workers is good. The location of the hotel is excellent and restaurants all around.
We stayed for one night. The check in was quick. Staff greeted us with a smile and a welcome. The room was clean and we received a text from our concierge upon entering our room. She informed us that if we needed anything she would be available. The hotel is conveniently located near bourbon street. We walked for about 10 minutes. I would definitely be staying at this hotel again.
A lot of renovations in the area the last few years which makes this our favorite place to stay down here. Close enough to the Quarter that you don’t need a taxi, but far away enough from the craziness that you can escape the chaos. The poker room is phenomenal. Most staff in the casino and the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The casino is always jumping with excitement with the constant flow of tourists. Most table games have a higher minimum than the standard because they can. Waitresses are second to none that I’ve seen. Lots of food and shopping all within a few blocks. Great place to get away and have a little fun.
It's extremely convenient to get to. It's in the heart of New Orleans. Walking distance from anywhere you wanna be. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are a dream. And I was only there for business but I had to stay after I walked in.
This is a great hotel. It smells like fresh laundry the moment you walk up. Service is great. Room is spacious and clean. So many choices for food within walking distance. Entertainment everywhere, just walk outside the hotel. Shopping has gotten much better.
I was enjoying myself but never received a drink when I ordered it … I was sitting at the same machine for over a hour finally I seen a gentleman walking towards me I got happy and he passed right on by I got up cashed out and left what a way to end my first time in New Orleans.
I LOVE Harrah's New Orleans! The Hotel is top notch and everything is spotless in the impressive lobby area. The rooms are like brand new. Restaurant Ruth Chris off the lobby and tons of nearby bars and other great restaurants are within close walking distance for all of New Orlean's Culinary delights. Of course it is also located within close walking distance of all of the top attractions in New Orleans like the French Quarter, the Market, Bourbon Street, Cafe du Monde, etc. There is easy access to the large Casino through a connected tunnel or right across the street for a wide selection of gaming tables and slots. I was lucky to hit a Royal Flush during this trip to win $5, 000 on a $10 bet playing Ultimate Texas Hold'em. I LOVE this place! Michael Pullinzi, Batavia, New York.
Harrah was a great place! Beautiful and the buffet was the best! It was one of the best places to be during Essence Festival!
Gud casino spot… My first time going Harrah’s, it’s very laid back and well organized… I recommend those who gamble to stop by here whenever your in tha N. O…
Great place to stay, hospitality was top notch (Thank you Leslie and Ebony). Rooms are nice, bed/pillows are comfortable. Clearly the humidity wreaks havoc on the wall paper; that's the only reason for the four-star rating. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.
Our room wasn't ready so they upgraded us to a river view that didn't disappoint! Gentleman bringing our luggage was very conversational and offered great options for a local wine bar that wasn't "tourist-y"! Overall very classy and beautiful hotel.
Upgraded rooms are nice… especially the corner suites. Service is only ok and the menu options for in-room dining are lacking. Still overall a nice experience.
Nice hotel. We've seen better in terms of customer service in the us.
One of the better Harrahs locations. The layout is slightly odd but easy enough to navigate. The Casino floor is massive with multiple table areas, high roller areas, and even a club in the middle. Rooms were very nice, had a beautiful view of the ocean also. The overall a great location by a great company.
Pretty big, clean and not busy during the day. Service was easy to get for a glass of wine on a Saturday. The slots were pretty tight, I didn't have any luck on my favorite games.
I love this hotel, my room was clean, the bathtub omgosh big and wide I just love it. The staff are friendly. You have to pay parking. But it’s all good. Very fancy too. My family and I had a great time.
Everything was perfect with the service. We're going to go Patras on the first chance we have.
Everything was perfect with the service. We will go back the first chance we get.
Smaller casino. It is the only one on Canal st. At the end of the red trolley line next to the Mississippi river. Their buffet is excellent. All the NOLA eats with cajun tastes as well as quality American foods. The dessert table is worth the cost alone.
Ruth's Chris was amazing. Bathrooms could use another stall or 2. Only 1 stall to accommodate all the guests at the restaurant. Seemed fairly clean throughout the hotel.
Really beautiful hotel. Very nice location. Accessible to shopping, dining and sight seeing. Walking distance to the cruise ship terminal. We had a check in problem, and the front desk staff were great about working through it and getting us into our room as quickly as possible. If I had to make a gripe, it would be that there is no complimentary coffee in the lobby. However, there is coffee for sale, so no problem!
This place was great! Room was clean & fabulous. Close to the shopping center. About a 5 min walk to the River Walk. I would go back there and stay again. Don't gamble but the Casino was nice too. Highly recommended.
So I was in town on a business trip, and I decide to come gamble a little bit one night. The building is a beautiful big sprawling Romanesque things right in the middle of all the action in downtown New Orleans. Security was not a problem, and the slots were plentiful. We had down and set our budget. Slots of all variety and price took up about half the casino floor. The rest of it was tables and entertainment space. I saw some friends of mine lose a lot of money at blackjack and at the roulette table. It was sad for them, but the dealers and even the patrons were all super nice and friendly to all of us. I saw the ACME Oyster House, but I didn't go in. In case you need to know, the restaurant is inside this building, and it has some legendary oysters. The staff wasn't very plentiful in terms of offering me free drinks as I gambled, but the no-smoking environment was very pleasant and I think should just be standard nowadays. Overall, this was a solid place that was a lot of fun to be at. Nothing too out of the ordinary here. It was good. Come here.
Check in time was at 4:00 pm. Our room was not ready until 5:30. I was supposed to be showered and ready by 5:00 to go somewhere, and it didn’t happen. The front desk could care less about our inconvenience. Rolled her eyes. We are diamond members of the casino, and I can promise you will not be returning for future stays. Had the place booked for the entire weekend of Jazz Fest, and cancelled!
I did not stayed, but if I spent four days participating in an event there. A real hotel. Its facilities are impeccable, an unsurpassed attention, its delicious buffet type food, I recommend the site for anyone, the cost benefit ratio is very favorable for one as a customer.
Nice casino. Didn't go into hotel part. Playing floor was laid out nicely with most restaurants on periphery. Had a Starbucks too! We ate breakfast buffet here one day. It was good. I gambled several times over the week. Didn't go into any of the bars, but they looked nice. The pirate one had cute piratey decor. I did have a hot dog at the hot dog cart. It was pretty yummy. Bathrooms were really nice.
This casino is really a mixed bag. I encountered friendly and knowledgeable dealers and pit bosses, and some that were just terrible. In general, 30% of the dealers were either very sullen or made significant mistakes. Over time every dealer will make some but I felt it happened much more frequently at this casino. This included incorrect card counts and payouts. The pit bosses were better but there were still gaps in professionalism. The hotel, however, was great. Front desk and staff were courteous and professional. The room was clean and comfortable.
The staff are very friendly but… there were charges that were not disclosed prior to arrival. -50 dollars. Per night for amenities -42 dollars a night for vallet parking Also, when we checked into the room the door was leaking oil or grease from the door close all the way down the door and the hot water handle in the sink was broken and would not stop spinning. The room and hallway had numerous black and other scuff marks along the baseboards and other spots. They will. Also charge what ever card you give them over 400 dollars to see if you have enough money available to pay for the room. I have managed casinos and hotels in Nevada and I have never seen this many issues in one visit. I was not even looking for these issues… my family had pointed them out to me. In the future I will not be staying here but at another location that I have had a better experience at.
Here are bedbugs, biting the whole body, no one in charge, and paying for their own medical bills are bed bugs, biting the bodies, no one's responsible, and pay their own medical expenses.
The buffet was amazing! The only time of my entire life that I've been to a buffet and got the exact same thing the second time around! And I did that 2 times in a row so go figure. I got me a Thanksgiving dinner in the middle of the summer and it was mind-blowing go get you some and then gamble the rest of your savings away before your wife finds out.
Stayed at this hotel for one night while I & my husband drove from Texas to Florida, got to the hotel pretty late (2am). We had good first impression when we checked in since staffs were kind and friendly HOWEVER I am giving 2 stars because 1. Room was not very clean, found several random hairs on the bed sheets/dirty refrigerator 2. House keeper knocked (honesty it was more likely banging or trying to smash), at the door at 9am and asked me what time exactly we are going to check out. We were still in bed since we got there pretty late and it was very obvious that she woke us up, she never apologized to me. I felt like I did something wrong even though Check out time is 11am. I think that they need to put more efforts on their customer service. I have never experienced it in the past.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. You cannot beat the location if you are attending a convention. Very happy with our stay.
We stay here at least once a year. The location is perfectly situated near the water and the quarter. The rooms are very clean and comfy. I had the best night of sleep in my bed last time. The staff is very friendly and provide excellent service. They even remembered my birthday! We'll keep going back!
Never ever disappointed staying here. The staff is always professional and friendly. And we love talking with Ronald out front every time we come. Rooms are very clean and nice! We come every 6 months and love it!
Everything was perfect with the service. We will go to patras in the first chance that we have.
The rooms are very big with a big bathroom. The customer service is great. They offer you bottle water, and provide bottles in the room. The casino is amazing. Free drinks if you are playing on the tables or slots. Great performances in the casino from time to time, but overall an amazing casino.
I have been treated like a king every time that I have come to Harrah's until very recently. You see, just because you see someone and you think that they are poor and or cannot afford to stay in your hotel by the way that they dress, you may be getting fooled. 0-: The truth is that I work for Google. The truth is that I am a writer. The truth is that business in the City of New Orleans will soon come through me. And yesterday I was treated worse than I've ever been treated by any hotel, Corporation, or Gambling Hall. Harrah's used to be my home and I gamble big there. I am a rock and roll musician with a worldwide record and I tour the country Non-Stop and will soon be touring the world with a 13 piece band that will be the best band in music entertainment. If someone from Harrah's wishes to call me and get this cleared up then I will listen. But if I'm not contacted then I will never return to any of your properties around the entire world and I will talk s*** about you and your terrible terrible business for the rest of my life.
I sat down in an open chair at a poker table. The woman next to me snapped 'the spot is closed. ' I looked to the dealer, she looked to the woman, then looked at me and said I couldn't play. I stood at the empty chair for 30 minutes with $300 cash in my hand trying to change. Once the pit boss came back to the table, I asked her if there was a reason that I wasn't allowed to play. She whispered to the dealer, and then told me that the spot was being held for someone else (I've been in the seat for 30 min. ) The very next hand, a man shows up, and they tell me to give him my seat. Everyone in this situation is African American. I have never felt so discriminated against, as I did by this pit boss and dealer duo. It is terrible that someone trying to play a game, would be treated like this. I am still standing here in the casino, while everyone involved laughs and talks about me.
In advance, I booked a king room with one king size bed. Checked in only to find out that, "oops, so sorry but we are out of king rooms. Will two queen beds work? " I said no, for the fact that my boyfriend and I are both well over 6'0. Queen beds don't work for us. "Well, I apologize but it's all we have left. " The receptionist should have done something to make it right with us, but she did not. We did not sleep well that night. Otherwise would have been 5 star. Very disappointed in the way the front desk handled the situation last week.
All I liked the hotel it service the people.
Harah's New Orleans was AWESOME! My wife and I went for a few days for our anniversary. I have been to Hotels and Casinos from the East coast to the West coast and hands down have never seen staff at both the Hotel and Casino so friendly and willing to help with what every you needed. I mean everyone from cleaning staff to casino Host. (Janay) shout out to you! I would recommend to anyone! I live in Ohio and just left and me and my wife are going back in two weeks. Worth the trip. Food is great everywhere and slots are not to bad either. Can't wait to get back. Come on two weeks!
An attempt acceptable copy to Las Vegas or Atlantic city. The casino is small, with a variety of table games and slot machines. To know if you are close to. Poker room in keeping with tournaments daily.
Visited a friend who was staying here. The bathroom was GINORMOUS and the room was really nice. Very spacious with separate tub and shower. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
My husband and I visited the casino and I don't know how our experience could have been any better. To start off with the casino is smoke-free which is a huge benefit for us and one of the reasons we stayed so long and visited a second night. All of the staff members we dealt with were extremely friendly and the selection of games was better than we expected. On our trip out of town we were already discussing when we would make plans to come back.
The HISTORY of the … HARRAH'S New Orleans Hotel. La AMISTAD y el buen SABOR siempre perdura en el TIEMPO Thanks marcel.
Excellent food! Very rich, and very wide variety, an experience worthy of repeating.
First I am grading the Casino, as a five. The Motel is a 4. I love the theme and layout of the casino. It is a great representation of the spirit of New Orleans. Several good restaurants, from fast and cheap to elegant and pricy. Great assortment of slots, and most of the time pretty easy to get a drink. Great poker room… and lots of free entertainment. A First Class Adult Playground.
There club is horrible the slots dont put oht and ur waiting 30 minutes for a drink.
We only dropped in at Harrah's for lunch, but the hotel was simply beautiful. The staff was so kind and hospitable and we felt very welcome.
Can walk there from Bourbon street. Convenient… yet dangerous for your wallet. Typical casino. Has a good amount of table games, did not find myself waiting for any action.
Only place to stay. Easy, elegant, consistent service. Accessible to everything from casino, shopping, eateries. Only place we stay.
Great casino with many options. Glad they have the new roulette machines. They just need to improve in a couple ways to get 5 stars like L'auberge. They need to get back to offering free drinks like years past regardless of your tier rating like L'auberge offers for all players. Second they need to not be so stingy with reward credits. Some machines give 1 reward credit for every $200 wagered!? And every 200 reward credits is worth 1$ at the food fuddruckers!? You would have to wager $360, 000.00 just to get an $8.00 hamburger at fuddruckers… unreal.
This hotel is an excellent option in downtown New Orleans. My wife and I had our wedding reception here and we could not have been more pleased about the hotel, the food, and the level of service the staff provided. The front desk and general hotel staff are supremely friendly and willing to accommodate your needs. Rooms are clean and modern. There's a Ruth's Chris steakhouse in the beautiful lobby and the casino is across the street. On the side of the hotel is Fulton Street with a lovely plaza and nearby is Manning's, the restaurant of the NFL Manning family.
Clean room with a great river view and easy walk to the convention center, café du monde, french quarter, and ww2 museum. Unfortunately, the room wasn't ready until an hour after normal check in.
The casino is ok but they do not maintain or clean the men's restrooms. I've been here 3 separate times and each time I use the restroom is is absolutely disgusting. I can't believe they let it get like that. They need to fix this. There is Wi-Fi here. Plenty of slots to choose from.
I was here two years ago and decided to comeback. It was a week before Mardi Gras but we still had fun. The staff was really helpful and made sure our stay was worth it. Will be coming back in the summer.
I visited Harrah's during Mardi Gras for gambling and drinks. It was an excellent casino experience, especially for an off-vegas location. Aside from the bathrooms, which needed more attention, everything was clean, as expected from this type of establishment.
I visit ed a jojn friend who was staying here during Mardi Gras, after the parades we decided to have drinks back at the hotel. While service was a little slow, I do understand that it was a busy time. That's is truly the only reason I am not giving a perfect score. I'm sure that any other time the service time would be a lot shorter.
Room was fabulous. Front desk was great. Very accommodating. Only issue was lock on toilet got stuck and one was locked in. I was staying with friends so no problem but if I was by myself it could have been bad. Room 920.
The room was super nice — very spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Everyone was courteous and helpful. No complaints at all!
Loved this casino, the food options were great, the employees were very nice to this annoyingly friendly Texas girl. I won 200 off of 2.00 so not too much I can complain about. Just had a great time in New Orleans, great city.
We have stayed at Harrahs before, and our stay is always a pleasure. The location is wonderful-easy walking distance to French Quarter, River Walk, Cafe DuMonde and much more. The rooms were comfortale, and the service was great.
I could tell you what went wrong. But I choose not to leave negative points on here. Why you ask?. Because The Management Staff went far and beyond to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. Thank You Josh, Van, Chelsea for being understanding and helpful making sure all needs were met. You made our stay comfortable and to the point we didn't want to leave. You will be seeing us coming back. Thank You All Again for listening and providing EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I highly recommend to let the staff know whats going on if you have any concerns. They will do what ever they can within their mends to provide you Great Customer Service. Thanks Again… I could go on and on. And how can I forget Jeffery! He was so sweet helping us with our luggage. Thanks Again to all Staff at Harrah's New Orleans Hotel.
We recently spent four days at Harrah's New Orleans. I cannot say enough nice things about the staff there. In particular, a young lady working the front desk named Mallory. Upon learning it was our first time in the city, she gave us some wonderful tips of places to go. She also upgraded us to a room overlooking the river walk. What a beautiful site to behold! She made us feel very special.
My wife and I had a great time! The staff at harrah's were as nice as can be and helpful with our time spent in New Orleans. Great view of the river and the room service was top notch! Casino was very clean and drink service was fast!. Thanks again. "Can't wait to go back"
Service was excellent (valet, door man, front desk, room service). The room was clean and had a great view. Only downside is that there are no outlets in the bathroom (stayed on the 6th floor suite). Location of the hotel is excellent, a lot of events going on around the hotel. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bars.
I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights but had my belongings, including my wallet, stolen from my room on the 3rd night. I immediately filed police and incident reports but all hotel management wanted to know was how I would pay for my stay. I asked to extend my stay for another night but the request was flatly denied. At first, they wanted to hold me until payment was secured but soon realized they would be facing a potential lawsuit and released me demanding payment within 10 days. They made sure to charge the highest rate for a standard room, at $599/night. I don't recommend you stay at this hotel but if for some reason you end up staying don't report any loss because they will treat you like a criminal. Thanks to being let out on the street by the hotel with nowhere to go, I thoroughly enjoyed the next 24 hours until I managed to get on a flight back home. I will never forget the warm southern hospitality extended by Harrah's.
I booked rooms for my anniversary and when I booked I got a good promotion and thought I would be staying in a king room. I get here and receive a double bed room. My husband is 6'3 250 pounds and its uncomfortable! I realize its based on availability but when I called to change rooms the next night I was told there were still no king rooms to move to even though the website clearly lets people pay $400 for a king room on the date. I feel since I got a promotional rate that im being given w. E. While they are trying to make more money off of the king rooms. This is complete bullshit as I would have paid full price at another hotel to have a king room. I am not happy. This has never happened to me before. Worst service ever. The beds are not as comfortable as most other hotels I have stayed at in new orleans.
The hotel itself isn't bad but nothing to write home about. I've try ed for two days to contact a host and have not had any luck. Won't return calls or answer phone. I can stay at Cesars in vegas for free horseshoe bossier anytime I want but these people want to charge me 349.00 for a non-holiday tue …
Didn't stay the night or play slots but ate at the buffet. The cashiers were very nice and polite to us. But that's all I can say cause we went on Sunday night which was "Asian night" and a totally fail! The food was average and there was not a lot to choose from. I wish we didn't pay $23.99 a person because it wasn't worth it.
Great casino! Nice, spaceful, and elegant only downside is u can't smoke or vape inside!
This place absolutely blows. Other than the themes inside and being smoke free. The machines are super rigged I spent 100$ within 30 min and max better on everything and went to various machines and I didn't win anything significant at all… also wait staff and management sucked… we ordered our first drink and the first thing the woman said when she got there was, " oh you have to be playing I can't serve you" after I just spent 40$ on a machine and was going to a different one… And then she snarkly said there is a 20 min gap b.
The people of New Orleans are so friendly that l was surprised at the lousy attitude of the check in desk. Rude, acted like they owned the hotel. Would not stay there again. All other employees were wonderful n helpful. Slots, drink waitresses, valets, all nice and friendly.
The best thing is that it's non-smoking and rather large. They charge for bottled beer which kind of sucks and the service is slow. Slot machines are so so.
Tightest games I have ever played. Math is terrible. No where close to any other casino. Same games but Harrahs pays out much less. Your lucky if you win back your bet. Should be reported to the fair gaming commision. Avoid this place.
I had a good experience at the hotel a lot of different things to do in the casino floor. This place looks like a vegas type of venue.
Some machines give 1 reward credit for every $45 wagered!? And every 200 reward credits is worth 1$ at the food venues!? You do the math.
Wonderful location and helpful front desk staff. Casino is clean, drinks are easily ordered from your machine. Housekeeping staff needs some improvement otherwise, a great place to stay in a fantastic friendly city.
Pretty nice place. Great artwork on the ceiling.
I went for the Casino. For New Orleans it's pretty cool. If you're there long enough you'll catch a parade going through the casino.
Great People, Great Hotel.
Beautiful rooms great staff.
The casino was really nice, but I give it five stars because the dinner buffet was amazing.
We always end up at Harrahs when we are on a visit to New Orleans. The only downside is the $10 blackjack tables fill up really fast so you have to wait a bit to play. I also won a voucher in a charity auction to stay their one time and Harrahs did not honor the voucher.
The hotel is beautiful, especially the lobby, and the location is great. The problem is the customer service is terrible. By far the worst I have ever received. The manager, Manieshia Hampton was terribly rude and unreliable, as was the desk clerk, Alex. Right after I checked out, I realized that I had left my iPhone charger in the room and asked if I could return to get it or have someone from the hotel look for it. I even wrote out exactly where it was. They told me that since I had checked out, I could not go back in the room, but that no one had time to go look for it either. I left them my phone number and asked them to call me once they had a chance to check for it. I never heard from anyone, so returned twice in the next two days to ask if they had had a chance to check for it, but they never did. A lost cell phone charger is not a big deal, but I was shocked that they were so unwilling to help with such a small request. Due to that experience I will never return to the Harrah's.

Bad experience I hit 269.00 on machine and leaned over to tell my daughter I won and guy next to me took my ticket and harrahs calls themselves a nice casino well its not so nice when they have cameras and no one is keeping and eye on their patrons so this does not happen. And may I ask what good are cameras if they dont protect the patrons that come their. And I was gonna take that money for christmas presents for my kids grandkids great grandson and my mom who is 79 fixing to make 80. Well I hope harrahs has a merry christmas because me n my family wont because of harrahs cameras that do nothing but sit there. They sure didnt offer my money back.
