No coffee was offered unless you buy it or make it. Line to buy it took over 1 hour. For the price you paid you would think there would be more amenities. There are more amenities at the Holiday Inn or La Quinta. Coffee maker in our room is also broken and so there was no choice but to buy which an hour waiting in line.

Stayed here in room 812 and checked out yesterday. I left a black LV crossbody purse in the room. Realized it when I got home so I called and they claim it was nowhere to be found. I know for a fact I left it because it was left on the edge of the bed on the bench and I didn’t make no stops at all between there and my house. I really hate dishonest people. I wish the world was a better place. This place will not be getting our money again.

My husband and I stay here for our anniversary the food was spectacular we had a chef every morning make us something fresh the service was great our concierge Miss Rhoda what's hands on and made sure everything ran smoothly.

My son traveled to the game and has multiple charges on his card that need to be reversed. He feels like he keeps getting the runaround without any resolution. How do you charge $100 deposit on the 31st at check in and again on the 3rd? I have the screenshots of his account. They also charged him $30 but can’t tell him for what? What is going here?!

This is my go to hotel whenever I’m in NOLA! I LOVE LaWasha for her delicious entrees and Margarite for her fantastic customer service.

I absolutely loved my time at this hotel. The staff is what made my stay amazing. They were so kind, friendly, and super helpful. New Orleans is always packed, but they took their time with each guest and seemed to truly enjoy their job. I stayed in April and haven’t stopped recommending this hotel to people. And it’s really just for the staff! The location is great and within walking distance to the Riverwalk and French Quarter. Definitely worth the visit.

That's a pretty typical Marriott Hotel. I walked in I was greeted it was a very easy process to check in which was nice. I go up to my room it's clean there's nothing out of the ordinary I unpack I go about my day and when I come back all of a sudden there's this mini fridge which is fine except that I had already unpacked and I wasn't expecting anyone else to come back into my room. And it was put in a in the way spot it looks like it shouldn't even be there which is probably the only reason why I noticed that it appeared in my room. I will say that's a little weird I wish they had told me that someone else was going to be in my room to put that in there it really doesn't look like in here. The menu is pretty typical nothing that I really like and I'll try to plea overpriced I will never understand why a glass of juice is so expensive. I do really appreciate the blackout curtains it makes it completely dark in here. Overall overpriced but still nice.

My room was very comfortable and clean. The front desk staff was excellent. The star of the hotel however was the bartender. The food was great but his cocktails we're on a whole different level. I would stay here again.

The door lady, Sue Jones, has the warmest demeanor I've ever seen. I've never felt more welcome anywhere! The valet and bell crew were on point, especially Brain. He knows what he did. Check in was smooth, no waiting. The room and view were great. The restaurant was great except the TV was on which game an otherwise fine dining type place a silly sports bar feel. Overall, great stay! Would recommend.

Very clean hotel. Allison at the front desk is super helpful and friendly. After checked in, she even remembers me by name, just amazing! The location is very close to the convention center and shopping mall. The only downside is the hotel doesn’t have self parking, but the valet staff is very kind, so I simply can’t complaint about it. I will definitely stay here again next year.

Checking out. Wonderful people in this city. The staff at this Marriott were amazing. Sue and Alvin at the door are sweethearts—both have big smiles to brighten your day. The employees taking care of the concierge area were amazing also—they kept the food area (breakfast daily, drinks, snacks, etc. ) clean and were a pleasure to chat with. Close to everything. Highly recommend this place if you are planning a stay in New Orleans.

Marriott on conversation is a wonderful hotel. We've stayed a couple times now the room service, and location are all great. I highly recommend.

Very basic room with old dirty carpet. At checkin was told my room had a city view. Guess the city is the building and parking garage across the way. No microwave or frig. The best parts are the bellmen and concierge. And being located across from the convention center.

Our room had a nice view of the bridge, especially at night when it was all lit up. Close to a lot of good bars and restaurants, and the street car. Room was really clean with comfortable bed and nice amenities, such as a mini fridge. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and nice. The employees were VERY nice and informed us of local areas to go to for food and events. Now here's the down side… there were so many conferences, cheerleading competitions and proms going on, there was not enough staff to accommodate the amount of events that they had scheduled. I called the operator 3 times and waited 10 min each time and no one ever answered.

The hotel is right across the convention center and a couple of blocks away from the River Walk outlet mall. It is relatively close to the World War II Museum and the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. It is a little out of the way from Bourbon Street, and the French Quarters. The hotel rooms are on the small side and the beds were not terribly comfortable.

I was not an overnight guest. I only used the convention center. However, the convention and lobby area were really nice. There is plenty of seating scattered about if you are needing to work on things privately.

I can’t even begin to describe my awful night at Marriott convention center in New Orleans. We were staying for a night because originally we thought there was a complimentary shuttle to the airport have I known how run down your rooms were and there was no shuttle I would have stayed were I was Courtyard French Quarters Iberville. The room had two double beds and I was sharing one with my son. My son and I basically could NOT sleep. Bed was old you could feel the springs in your back, comforter was a flimsy sheet type and pillows had no fluff left in them, not to mention mattress will make you shift towards the middle. It wasn’t until 4 am until I told my husband just to sit on the chair and let me sleep on his bed that I realized his bed on the other hand was up to Marriott standards but by then I was so upset that I decided to head earlier towards the airport. Another thing the air conditioner switched to 72 at 12:30 when I first checked and to make matters worst the toilet stopped flushing and had the sound of water all night long! This stay was like a motel instead of what I paid for, a comfortable night at the Marriott! Stay Away from here we prepaid to stay here otherwise I would have gone back to Courtyard (did I mention how amazing this hotel was). My husband is an elite member and I still can’t comprehend how Marriott has this hotel operating with standards way below not even a three stars hotel!

The power went out for the block, they brought out the best gumbo I’ve ever had (and I live in SE Texas). They were so accommodating even giving free cocktails to patrons. The staff is amazing and their chef is even better.

Nice hotel. Got stuck there after a snow storm cancelled my flight out and they were able to get me a room early and help accommodate me when I needed it most. Rooms were clean and fairly up to date. Plug placement was much better than the other hotel in the area I used, great for charging all my gear.

The staff are friendly and amazing! They go above and beyond. The room was nice and clean. They greeted us every time we went in and out of the hotel. Parking was expensive and had to repeat to the restaurant servers that our breakfast was included in our reservation. The breakfast kitchen staff are the greatest people! One man even convinced me to try his grits. They were pretty good and I don’t like grits! The waffles are the bomb! Best omelets ever!

Downtown New Orleans including restaurants with great food and enjoyable places especially the Beignets, is the right place to go and hang out with your friends and family. I highly recommend this adventure for lots thank you to all enjoy your stay at New Orleans.

Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Nothing in particular stands out either, though. It's right across the street from the Convention Center (about Hall A/B), so that's good. Plus just a little bit of a walk from the French Quarter.

Very good location Easy access. Impeccable installations, in line with the chain. There is No refrigerator in the room.

Was not advised there is mandatory valet parking which they charge you $34 per night. Had I known this I would have chosen a different hotel as this incresed my per night rate which determined my hotel choice. Also there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms which should be standard for the rate paid. Good location and comfortable beds. Friendly staff.

Experience was great. Employees were exceedingly gracious. The only small problem was that we couldn't get the bath water hot enough. Overall, a nice time.

I'm sorry but New Orleans nope. We were very Enteuscht. That's more sham than being. So no 2 times more.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and maintained well. Within walking distance of a lot; a bit far from Bourbon St, but it is doable (there's a closer Marriott if walking is too much for you).

I can't say enough about this place. The bellhop here is amazing. Even though we never stayed here, we came from out of town and needed to put our bags somewhere while our air BNB was getting ready so we could walk around and see the sights. This was the only place that I could find from a tip I found online and for a small fee they held our bags and got a cab for us. What great people and customer service in the front of the hotel and when we are in town will go back and stay!

I recently stayed at this property on a business trip and I cannot compliment the front desk, as well as the Concierge staff enough! Jovonne at the front desk was so gracious and accommodating and all the staff on the Concierge level were friendly and helpful and seemed to enjoy making our stay even more welcoming! I would especially like to thank Mark, Patrick and (my apologies) the Indonesian gentleman who treated us as if we were guests in their home. The offerings for breakfast and lunch in the Concierge room were excellent! The only slight downfall was housekeeping. The first few visits were above and beyond. After that, housekeeping went downhill. On one occasion, housekeeping really didn't do anything except make the bed. This is a fixable and trainable issue as, on the overall, service here was outstanding! It was not my first stay at this Marriott and I have found it to be consistent each and every time.

From being greeted at the curb by the valet staff to being helped out with our bags at the end of our stay, this visit was impeccable! Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed everything about our stay. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, the room comfortable and beautifully appointed, and the overall experience was a 10! Thank you all for making our convention trip a memorable one!

We made reservations to arrive on the 7th of Oct, but because of Hurricane Nate we decided to come in on the 6th. I called the hotel to let them know we would be arriving around 2am. The man I spoke to told he to let them know I know had 2 reservations. When we got to hotel we gave our keys to the valet driver (very nice and polite) The man at the front desk was asleep and I had to ask the valet to wake him up. The front desk (Anthony) said I didn't call and they had no reservation for me and he was the only one that would have answered the phone. We had to wait in the lobby until 3:30am something about waiting for their clocks to show the next business day. The next day after going to bed at 4am I went to the desk and the lady was put out, no I am sorry… nothing. This hotel was over priced, staff rude uncaring. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, which is a shame considering how close it is to Bourbon Street.

The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly (Katelyn at front desk, Patrick in concierge). We had an issue in our room and maintenance came by and left a chocolate hammer and a kind note. The room was very clean, housekeeping was friendly and attentive. Excellent hotel, thank you so much for the great stay!

I'm updating this review within 24 hours because the staff at the Marriott really went above and beyond with addressing my initial disappointment. I came back to my room tonight with a note on my bed from Brittany with a upgrade to the concierge lounge. So awesome! Amazing customer service thank you! I'm actually a little surprised and disappointed with my room. It looks like it needs a good cleaning. The curtains have stains on them, the sheets have some stains and I wouldn't say they smell great. Even the blinds and bed skirts are dirty. Wouldn't expect this from a Marriott, maybe a Best Western or a hotel in that class but definitely not a Marriott.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Elevator system is unique, and can be a little frustrating at times. You are assigned an elevator, so you can't just get on the first available one. If you aren't paying attention and get one that isn't yours, you won't have an option of getting off on your floor. A couple of times elevators were down, and that caused long wait times because of the system. Relatively minor impact on quality of stay though. Would stay here again.

Very professional staff and was really happy with the ten dollar vallet at the door. The food served was good, but the corn chowder served was absolutely awesome. I will happily come back here again.

I thought the event was professional. The food was ok not fantastic. It was a bit cold as usual. Staff was friendly. We had to park at Fulton down the road but it was free and validated. The signs on the meeting rooms are a bit small so it can take a moment to figure things out. There was a Starbucks in the hotel so that was convenient. I didn't stay the night so I cannot comment on rooms.

Staff were extremely friendly and the decorations were nice. Room was clean and modernly decorated. Walls were kind of thin and we could hear the people in the room next to us at night. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for work as part of a convention. The room was nice, but the staff was what amazed me! They were always kind, and provided any extra help I needed. After I flew home I realized I had left my iPad in the room; the staff helped until it was located and mailed it back to me unharmed. I'm so thankful for the kind staff at this hotel and would recommend it highly! It's also located near so many great restaurants and only a mile away from the French Quarter.

The staff is very friendly, the lobby is beautiful, and it's located directly across from the convention center. The rooms are a standard hotel room, nothing fancy. Don't be surprised to see a couple of cockroaches in your room. They are all over New Orleans so of course they are in your hotel too.

I have never seen a more filthy marriot in all my travels. Our first room bed had a blood stain through the mattress upon arrival, smaller than a dime size but noticeable to ask for a room change. Then our next room, pictures below were just as bad. We came home from a dinner to an unlocked door and partially open door. We then see a random blanket placed on our bed with makeup on it. We called staff and they told us that the room below us asked for it and they apologized. The staff are all very nice but this is unacceptable will be letting their manager know Monday morning.

We arrive a little late around 7 pm due to the fact that we were driving in from Texas, we called ahead to advise of our late arrival. Upon arrival Andrew greeted us and informed us that our two queen bed room was unavailable due to over booking but were given options to make our stay enjoyable. After we checked in we decided to go to the restaurant downstairs but after reviewing the menu realized there wasn't much for our picky eaters (our two boys ages 13 & 6) we then asked Andrew about pizza options and since we wanted T go outi he recommended Tommy Gs which was pretty amazing! Honestly Andrew made ur check in and stay that much better… promote him!

The first day we were here, the service wasn't all that great, but for the 5 days after that, we even came to being friends with some of the Bell hops! They always recommended great places in the area, and we're very tolerant of our bombardment of questions. We talked to the manager to praise them, and found that these were the Bellhops chosen to star in a documentary about Marriotts around the world on Discovery Channel! Overall, New Orleans was a great experience, and this place really helped it be that way.

My room was dirty. One of the beds had a lot of hair in the bedding for a bed that was freshly made. The bathroom had hair on the floor, on the counter, and in the shower. I'm not sure it was cleaned before my stay. It's an old hotel that needs to be completely updated. The staff were really great and I appreciate their assistance.

Had a great stay here. Location is good and not as far as some may think. Coming from Europe we did not mind walking to all main sights. Rooms are not the newest but you got everything you need. Parking — very expensive! Porters — all very friendly and helpful! One star less because the receptionist, after asking, knew it was my 30th birthday whilst staying. Knowing the business this would have been a great opportunity to go above and beyond. Unfortunately this did not happen. Otherwise all good!

Booked our room months ago to have a room with a king bed we got a room with 2 full size beds. When I called down to the front desk they told me that I only requested it and that they are 100% full, and we're to be staying here for a week. The room is very small. This place doesn't even have a fridge in the room. Definitely not worth $200 a night. What a waste of money.

I went to a conference in the Marriott last week. The employees were very hospitable and all of the food was so tasty! The hotel was very clean and organized.

Overall as all mariots I have been to in New orleans, well layed out, clean, up to date. Refreshing.

If you have a convention at the New Orleans convention center, the location couldn't be better. There staff was great and the rooms are nice. However, the TV system is terrible. And the room service menu is limited access over priced even for a hotel.

Clean. Friendly staff, nice rooms. Check-in is a bit late (4 pm) and there's a good chance your room will not be ready early — very busy place. Nice restaurant on the ground floor, with great breakfast buffet.

Amenities and service you have come to expect from Marriott. Courteous staff, clean facilities, and pretty good location. Very close to the convention center and warehouse district. Would stay here again.

This experience was TERRIBLE. I left this hotel a week ago and I'm still having difficulties with them. Their customer service is not helpful. One lady had an attitude on the phone with me when I was trying to tell her what was going on, and she insisted she was right. The hotel yes, was very nice. But from the moment I walked in. They gave me trouble on just checking in. I am still arguing with them because they are taking money out of my card for no reason! They obviously don't know how to do their job, because if they did we wouldn't be having this problem. I owe them nothing. & I am not a stubborn person. Now I'm having to drive back all the way over there, considering it was for vacay, and discuss in person all the wrong they have done. They only GREAT thing about this place, was VALLET. They were really nice and helpful everyone time I walked in and out of that terrible hotel. They must have known how they were…

Excellent hotel with great staff. Meeting rooms and business center are perfect. The hotel is located right across the street from the convention center and the French Quarter is a 15 minute walk. Now that the Riverwalk is across the street – it’s great to stroll through the mall and end up along the Mississippi with just a little further to go to get to Jackson Square.

The best venue we have ever booked in 12 years hosting national events at every major city in he country! The hotel is beautiful, the staff executed flawlessly and had such an amazing attitude of kindness and support. It was truly a pleasure to work with such a professional team. My clients are all multi million dollar businesses. They are franchised car dealer ships from all over the country and some of them have never been to New Orleans before and were so impressed with their experience! My event manager Jessica was AMAZING! She was so helpful and so kind as was her entire team. Joe (The GM) is a great leader and very lucky to have such an amazing team representing hi and the Marriott! I highly recommend this place if you want to host a workshop or conference or if you want an awesome hotel in the heart of New Orleans!

I have traveled a lot and I will say that this was my best hotel experience to date. The people made my stay excellent. From the door (Patrick, Sue, Omar, and more (names I didn't catch) ) to the front desk, and even taking care of our room while we were there (Heidy) the service and hospitality was amazing. There was always a smile and greeting when exiting and arriving and constant help available. The location was also nice; convenient to the convention center, a brisk walk to the French Quarter (about 4 blocks), the outlet mall a half block away, sight seeing at the front door, and the food in the area was excellent as well. Thank you for a great experience.

We booked thru a prepaid getaway 'deal', not connected to the Marriott. When we arrived Friday afternoon they didn't have our reservations, but I had my paperwork. The staff told us not to worry & immediately had us in a room. They handled dealing with the Getaway company Monday as the company could not be reached Friday. Room was exactly as pictured, very clean, all staff very friendly and helpful, even charged my phone as I'd forgotten my charger. The only thing we didn't like was a fairly long walk for a 74 year old to the streetcars & French Quarter so we had to take a lot of taxis.

Good location, easy access to the area. I was over charged for parking, which they corrected. The rooms and hotel are clean and comfortable. The staff was freindly.

HORRIABLE! And I haven't yet to stay here. Tried calling and making reservations Guy on the phone was RUDE! It seemed as he couldn't answer any of my questions and was yelling when I would ask him to repeat what he had said! It seems as companies Keep the worst employed!

N. O. Marriott at the Convention Center ROACH INFESTED. We're from Houston and attending the eybl basketball tournament. We are staying at the Marriott at the convention center. From the time we checked in, we've been disgusted. They have roaches everywhere. Immediately we were greeted by at least 7 roaches but that was just the beginning. As we attempted to turn the TV screen, more roaches poured out. The amount was so ridiculous that we took pics and video. One would think staying at an est like Marriott, being attacked by roaches was the last thing we expected. We reported the issue to the front desk. They sent a maintenance employee to investigate the issue. Upon looking behind TV he was able to see a nest of roaches. They then moved us a different room WHICH WAS ALSO INFESTED. We repeated the process with the front desk. The most disappointing part was hearing someone at the front desk say, "We're not moving them again". Extremly unprofessional.! I guess I shouldn't have been disappointed being that my request to speak to the manager, TV about the issue, never happened. As we moved the luggage on the floor, 3 roaches came out and one headed to the closet. We opened the closet and found 4 more in the corner. Again they sent a maintenance employee who was shocked by his findings. This is extremely disappointing, frustrating, unprofessional, unhealthy and disrespectful. This is the Marriott, this isn't acceptable.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. They had crawfish "cheesecake" at the front desk, and it was one of the best things I tasted in NO.

Our reservation was jacked to say the least. When confirmed for two rooms with double beds upon arrival we receive two rooms with one king bed each. Not a problem other than there were four people in each room. With the price as high as it is you expect SERVICE well not here. Not only was our room not right there were not any cots or rolling beds available. Looking to still make the best when I did finally decide to sleep in the floor. This hotel had no extra blankets. Please someone explain this one to me. I am now paying well over what a room should cost. Paying a ridiculous amount to park. Inflated rates on everything including Internet. And I have to sleep in the floor without a blanket. My vehicle would be more comfortable. I do not recommend this to anyone for a place to stay.

Was there in January for business. Room was fine, what was described as a fitness room was a joke. The cleaning staff left my room door open after cleaning the room. I was to receive a FedEx package delivered to the Hotel. According to FedEx, the package was delivered and signed for. According to the hotel, they never got the package. FedEx sent me the name of the person who received it — he works at the Marriott. The head of Loss Prevention said he'd find out what happened. Well. According to their video, the package was never taken off the truck. I was told to contact FedEx to file a claim. FedEx tells me to have the merchant who sent the package to file a claim. Merchant who sent the package was told by FedEx that the package was delivered and signed for. I'll be making a formal complaint againt the Marriott. Don't have packages sent there.

I would love to get the best hotel whenever I m on vacation at Now the first I disappoited is no refrigerator in the room as I was spent a lot money per night on this spring break that 359 $ and I would love to get at conveniente but no at all as I didn't want much to selected this hotel but just for to choosed for a member card reward marriott, I think no moré for me to choose with the member o not, two time that I wasnt get what hotel that I want in the available for us at all.

This hotel was absolutely awful. The noise from the room next door sounded like it was in our room and the staff was awful. We were awake from 3 am to 4 am with noisy guests next door. Their voices were clearly audible in our room. We could hear the entire conversation. Never again.

Good location for convention center. Offers all the necessities except refrigerator. Convenient for restaurants, childrens museum, WW2 museum, etc. Quick walk to canal street.
