Great experience! My family and I were evacuees from Plaquemines Parish. We actually left one hotel because it was not up to par. So glad we found Hotel Indigo! The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly!
My family and I will definitely be staying there again if need be.

I cannot day enough nice things about the Hotel Indigo! They had the absolute sweetest staff who did everything they could to make sure our stay was perfect and that my wedding day preparations went smoothly! We stayed in the bridal suite and me and my bridesmaids got ready in the room! They came and cleaned the room after me and the girls left to go to the ceremony and to make sure it was perfect for me and my new husband to come back to! They even helped hide me from my fiancé the day of the wedding and opened one of their big outdoor patio umbrellas sideways to keep me hidden on wedding day! The room was beyond incredible and I couldn’t ask for a better hotel experience! 5 stars going out to the Hotel Indigo!

I just checked out of this Hotel and its very overrated. The Rooms are very small and the AC doesn't work properly as if they are controlling the air system. I could've went to Super 8

This is a very nice hotel in downtown Baton Rouge. We have stayed there over 12 times, and always have a clean room and very nice people at the front desk. They have a good breakfast. All is at honest pricing.

Ok, you got me at purple! Purple carpet! Seriously. I’m in love. The room is quaint. Decent low filter lamps placed around the room. Upgraded bathroom is awesome. As I tuck myself tonight, I’ll be checking out their breakfast menu. I hope it’s gonna be good! They don’t have a lot of vegan selections which is ok.

They have good food. Very friendly people that work there. They will do whatever it takes to make your time there very comfortable. And you can bring your dog with you. It's really dog friendly.

My room was dirty and small with stained sheets. The view was very good, with the river, old Capitol, and museums all visible. The water is VERY soft with poor pressure so expect to spend 15 minutes washing shampoo out of your hair. The toilet paper is so flimsy that you might as well take a shower after using the restroom. The air conditioner is surprisingly loud, to the point that you have to double the volume on the television. I woke up both nights with a sore throat, even though I built a pillow fort the second night to block the air.

Fabulous place to stay, all staff were amazing, funny and helpful! The room was wonderful, cool, clean and comfy! We were impressed by their Louisiana charm, knowledge of their state and their genuine smiles! We will be repeat customers! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a beautiful hotel. It's ranks up there in comparison with the likes of The W, but with a more contemporary exquisite flair, but NOT with the expense to go along with it. The lobby and bar areas are beautiful. They set the atmosphere of preparation for what you can expect in anticipation of seeing the rooms. The rooms do not disappoint you. The decor is spot with the same contemporary flair as the dining and bar areas next to the lobby. While they are not as roomy as some, they are surprisingly cosey and warm with beautiful colors pleasing to the eye. The staff are excellent… friendly, warm, helpful, and professional. I give Hotel Indigo 5 stars. I'm sending the a lit of business.

The staff was great and the valet was very convenient. However it always irks me that the nicer a hotel, the fewer things are available to you. Pricey breakfast and few amenities in the room. A cheaper hotel would have had free breakfast and a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Still, it was a nice stay.

Great experience! Wonderful location! Staff was very attentive to our needs. Upon arrival, when they saw the size of our family (! ) upgraded us to a suite! We felt very safe. Would love more amenities like a pool and free breakfast in AM but overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The room was decent — nothing special, and certainly not bad. I probably wouldn’t have taken the time to review the hotel, but wanted to post this because the staff was excellent to a point that deserves mention. Arrived on the day of the LSU graduation and they were swamped. The reception staff was undaunted, and handled the rush with friendliness and poise. Every employee we encountered from the valet to the desk clerk was friendly, accommodating, and gave recommendations to enhance our stay. The people definitely make this hotel!

I love this hotel. The valet parking is very helpful. I love that I didn't have to find a parking spot and my car was ready when I walked outside. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY.

The bed was soft with down comforter and pillows. There was a very nice walk in shower. All amenities and fixtures were high end. Room service was available, but I did not partake. The Sangria at the bar was delicious.

Best hotel in Baton Rouge! The staff go out of the way to make you feel welcome and accommodate your requests. The rooms are stylish, modern, comfortable beds and the room service is delicious!

I am so disappointed in how unaccomodating the hotel indigo was for our family’s wedding weekend. They didn’t have room keys for us upon check in. The a/c in the room did not work and the front desk staff said that they would send maintence who did not show up. The hotel was noisy as we could hear everyone talking in the hallway and the rooms around us. We could hear everything that went on down stairs and outside in the street as we were only on the second floor. Very uncomfortable stay.

Hotel was okay. Light comes around the entry door so if your looking for a pitch black room that wont happen. I scheduled my room a week in advance and used my cc to secure and pay for the room. Then when I arrived they asked for the card. I assumed it was to verify my identity before running the card. Instead much to my surprise they charged me an additional $165.00 as a damage fee and as long as the room is left in good condition I will get that refunded in 3-5 business days. Sure wish they would have been forthcoming with that information beforehand. Also there is no refrigerator in the room so if you have left overs from dinner or alcohol you want to chill then you wont be able to. We will not be staying there again!

Stayed here on a business trip. The location worked out really well. I would recommend using the valet parking. It's only a few bucks more than city parking.

Five Stars is not enough to give Hotel Indigo. I recently had an amazing five days stay and reception at this hotel. Each and everyone of the staff members went above and beyond the call of duty. Jeremy and Daniel did more than anyone could dream of to make my stay perfect. The morale in this hotel is truly incredible and the staff makes you feel like family. I am still trying to figure out how the ringleader, Jeremy is not the general manager. If you are traveling to Baton Rouge, you must experience the charm of Hotel Indigo.

They are very friendly. The hotel is centrally located and you can enjoy walking by the river. The gumbo and crawfish are excellent.

Very charming place located in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge. It was quiet. The rooms were cute. No carpet on the floor of my room. But, lovely all the same.

Recently our client Jeremy Porter stayed here while performing near by and really enjoyed the property! The hospitality was amazing and the room was clean and quiet. There was plenty of parking available late evening, and a laundry room to utilize while enjoying a little down time. Thank you for taking such great care of our client, we can't wait to recommend this hotel to our clients traveling through in the future!

Loved this hotel! Most comfortable bed I've slept in in some time. The room was nice and clean. Great walk-in shower and bathroom. The Wifi worked great the breakfast spread was nice and served with a big smile. As a bonus they offer free use of cruiser bikes so we went for a spin along the Mississippi River and up to the capitol building. We loved this hotel and would recommend it to touring bands and comedians as well as families and business travelers!

Loved our stay and staff. The doors do close very loudly and there's nothing that can be done to remedy that. Also very loud street noise at night between loud music and loud cars as it is near clubs.

Met some friends for drinks. They given you your money's worth, and the drinks are good. The staff were all very kind, and the area was very clean. A nice small jazz ensemble was there. Very nice atmosphere.

Great hotel in a central down town location. Rooms were smaller but incredibly comfortable with a contemporary vibe. The staff was gracious throughout, even snagging me some awesome cheesecake and cookies after a late night gig. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Not much more I could ask for. Without a doubt I would stay here again.

Place was nice and very clean. My only issue was the maid started knocking on the door at 8am after I drove all night. My fault for not putting out the do not disturb sign but then she came back 3 times in an hour. Kinda made me feel like they couldn't wait for me to leave.

The most respectful and attentive employees. Very clean, and comfortable. Huge showers! Nice amenities. Shuttles ready to take you where you need to go. Valet parking. Everyone greets you with a smile. This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at before. I'd give it ten stars if I could.

The hotel itself is okay; has a European vibe, small but clean rooms, courteous staff. We had a lovely room overlooking the river, as well as the Shaw Center next door which apparently has become quite the popular wedding reception venue. Two nights at Hotel Indigo, two weddings. "Loud" is an understatement; we may as well have had the wedding bands set up in our rooms playing. I've stayed in plenty of hotels overlooking busy city streets, but this is on a whole other level. I seriously question how there's not a violation of the city's noise ordinance happening here. Anyway, if you're planning to be out on the town till midnight, or if you're visiting during the week, Hotel Indigo is a cool downtown hotel worth checking out. But if you're in town over a weekend and actually looking to get a good night's sleep, I'd suggest going elsewhere.

Room was nice and clean. Hotel staff was very friendly. The room we had was by the vending area. It was quite loud when someone would get drinks or ice. The room had a bit of an echo to it. The air in the room did not work properly. The kicker was when we checked in the receptionist asked for my card for incidentals. She did not tell me that when I swiped my card it would put a hold on my bank account for $100. When we checked out I brought all of this up with the receptionist. She didn't seem that concerned about the air not working. She told me that the hold on my account wouldn't be released for several days due to the fact that I used a debit card. She did say that I could call my bank and have them release the hold. Overall the stay was pleasant. I might give them another shot in the future.

They were awesome. Traveling through to Texas for the holidays with our two pets. Very accommodating to our one dog's limitations on higher floors (she is missing one leg). Comfortable king bed and very friendly staff. Smaller room but not a big deal to us for a night.

Turned into a night from HELL. Me and my boyfriend stayed there on Oct. 29th. Started off great until they switched bartenders. Who ever owns this hotel needs to watch the video from that night. We left to go out and came back and was told that we were not allowed back into the bar area that my boyfriend had threatened the bartender. Which was clearly a lie because the bartender didn't want us to leave to begin with. So, we left again and when we came back my boyfriend went to the room and I decided to stay out side smoke. The manager came outside and told me I was not allow back into the bar that I had just threatened the bartender. Which was another lie because I clearly never went back into the bar area. The manager said they had a witness. I went to the bar and there was a couple that was siting there and I asked them if they just saw me leave the bar. The guy got up, grabbed their luggage and left and the girl just held her head down. Apparently they were friends of the bartender and was trying to get us to leave so they would have a room. The night had so much drama. I was sitting there minding my own business and it just kept on and on with the drama. We could not even enjoy ourselves. Whoever owns this hotel needs to be aware that if a bartender will lie he will steal from them and I hope they do review the video from this night and that no other customer would ever have to experience this.

The staff are super friendly, professional, and accommodating. Mr Bill, the valet, is the best valet we have ever met. He's knowledgeable and takes time to get to know his customers. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are beautiful. We will certainly stay there again.

I visited the Lobby, but didn't spend the night. Staff was nice enough to let me take advantage of their air conditioning and charge my phone. Very appreciative of their tolerance of non customers.

Room was clean and the bar's happy hour was great. I wish they had queen beds instead of double beds in the rooms.

Went to stay at the hotel as a relative had to do some stuff at LSU. It's a relatively quiet hotel, never heard anything from other rooms and did not ever have anyone other than myself and/or family in the elevators. Bistro has some excellent food, service was pretty fast, prices aren't too steep for a hotel. My only qualm is that near the end of our stay we had requested help to carry bags, which never came. We waited for a but, and if we had waited any longer, we would've been late for a meeting at the college. Overall, a good hotel, no major complaints here.

The room was excellent. We had a corner room on the fifth floor, the view was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the service at the front desk was good as well.

Stopped in the bar for a drink before going to dinner. The bar was great and the bartenders were very attentive. Would definitely go back.

Ate at the restaurant, menu was small, service was slow, portions were small, price was high. There must've been something bad on my plate, because 3 hours later I was sick as a dog!

Had a great stay here. Beautiful, clean rooms. Very pleasant staff. Walking distance Convention Center, Manship Theatre and to many other nice places. Complimentary bicycles to ride if you like.

Stayed here for a night and loved it. Modern, very clean up to date rooms. Loved the hardwood as hotel room carpet is usually full of germs. Super friendly bartender & front desk staff. The food is also very good.

Small boutique rooms provide just what I need with nice decor. Rooms are kept up to date, clean and the staff is always both helpful and friendly. Great for a quick biz trip.

My family of four stayed one night at Hotel Indigo on our way from Alabama. We found the staff friendly, the bar excellent and the room very comfortable and clean. The valet parking was $18/night but we ended up parking in the garage next door for $6.00 for the night. We would stay again. Thank you Indigo.

Great hotel and the food is not pricy for the value received. I enjoyed the hotel rooms and the cleanliness of them. The customer service and maid service was great. I would recommend this hotel for anyone. Great stay and food.

First of all I want to say that the hotel itself is very pretty and nice, the guy that checked us in was VERY nice and professional. But. When it is NYE your hotel SHOULD be prepared for the night. my husband and 4 friends went down to the bar at 5 pm, they asked for 5 coors lights, a glass of reisling, a bloody mary and a glass of champagne. The bartender stated " i'll get you the beer but I am off so someone else will have to get you the drinks. " rude — unprofessional. At 7 that night they were serving RED WINE in Champagne glasses, because " all of the red wine glasses were dirty" — — The hotel needed to BE PREPARED for the night. This was at 7 that night with MAYBE 15 people at the bar. when I walked into my room I was VERY impressed. Beautiful rooms, bedding — VERY comfortable. Bathroom so pretty — AVEDA products (two thumbs up! ) but LARGE amounts of DUST on the lamps and shelves in the batroom under the sink : ( when we came back to the hotel at 11:30pm to ring in the new year, the bartenders seemed as if it was all of their 1st nights being bartenders, very overwhelmed. Bar was not packed. A decent crowd. The bartender took the order that my husband placed and put it on his friends tab. Its ok because they were our friends BUT what would happen if they had put it on a total strangers tab? the next morning, my husband and I were very excited to get room service, so I called down to place my order. And the girl that answered WAS VERY unprofessional.

Go to the bar and ask for a J. Reilly, you won't regret it.
