I simply love the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Baton Rouge. The staff is amazing! They are so friendly and helpful and just go above and beyond to make sure that you enjoy your stay. The suites are so spacious and the view is to die for.

I have to travel for work and end up visiting many different hotels, and I’ve been super unimpressed with this one so far…
1) The door to my room doesn’t shut and I basically have to slam it to get it to close.
2) The deadbolt on the door to my room won’t turn or engage.
3) I went down to the coffee bar area for a cup of coffee, and there was only hot water and decaf available. I walked to the front desk to ask if there was possibly coffee set up somewhere else and one of the ladies referred me back to the coffee bar or to go to my room to make coffee, after I had already mentioned that there was only decaf and hot water available.
4) Some hotels have done away with traditional hot breakfasts in the morning due to COVID, and this hotel is one of them. Breakfast is a mystery box that you’re only told is a choice of a bagel or a muffin
5) You have to use the parking garage that’s behind the hotel and across the street if you’re not a VIP guest.

The staff here was absolutely amazing! We evacuated here due to hurricane Laura. The hotel was very well kept up, clean, and the front desk and housekeepers welcomed us with smiles never hesitating to cater to our needs! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

Anniversary stay, had an awesome time; beautiful balcony view of downtown and the river, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We’ll surely be back soon, it’s our new go to spot. Our new duck off!

The king suite overlooking the river is large and the balcony is amazing. However, when I went to take a shower it looked as though Chewbacca beat me to it. Hairs everywhere and a crusty, hair-filled wash cloth was hanging on the top of the rod. That instantly made me believe that the room had not been cleaned prior to my stay. Confirming this believe was the wet make up cloth by the sink. Paying this price for a room, I would expect a lot more.

The one thing I love about this hotel is the staff is genuinely happy, when they smile at your face they mean it, the hotel is clean the location is perfect and I am always totally satisfied when I visit this hotel not to mention the fast elevators which are very important if you need to get up or down quickly and it is a short drive to Tiger stadium which in the end is vital!

Great view of Mississippi River off our balcony. Lots of places to eat/drink within walking distance. Very clean.

Love this hotel. Fast check in, easy parking, quick access to interstate. Wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. The balcony is worth every cent!

Everyone here are super kind in every way. Especially the morning breakfast girls, they have a very fun and infectious laugh, great personality and wonderful to be around. Great way to start your day. Made stay a amazing experience and we would definitely make it a point to come back. Thankyou Hampton inn.

Love the river view suites. Only place to stay in BR.

Facility was clean and updated. Room had a comfy bed, good ac, frig & micro. Offered a decent complimentary breakfast. Be prepared to pay to park ($10) in garage. Access to River front a block away. Really good Mexican restaurant across the street with great margaritas.

Service and staff was outstanding. Our room was gorgeous. Thank you for making our 21st wedding anniversary so special.

Very clean, great breakfast, ladies in food court are very polite and this has to be the best smelling hotel I’ve ever stayed at! When you walk in from outside the fresh smell is so refreshing and when you get off the elevators the smell hits you of pure freshness also! Loved it!

Very comfortable. Calm. The service is great. Ad nice location. I must confess its a place to be. The Hospitality is amazing. I will sure visit again.

This hotel is located in the best place. Very convenient to the Capitol. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean and big. Bed is very comfortable. I loved that it had a microwave and a refrigerator. Happy hour is great as well. Can't beat the hospitality. Would stay here again.
