Excellent place to stay for business in Sulfur with clean rooms, good parking, best in class beds, and great breakfast including the in room coffee. Big plus for me was the extreme niceness of all the hotel staff who weren't just accommodating and polite but were genuinely friendly.

Very noisy air conditioning it is also close to the highway so some rooms have highway noise. The breakfast provided is just average though the coffee was good. Staff were mixed friendly and some not so much. The room cost was above average for the quality.

Excellent hotel with delicious breakfast. We were too tired to swim or workout but the facilities for both looked nice and clean.

Average accommodations, comfortable rooms, indoor pool, small gym, standard breakfast.

Great ⭐⭐⭐ inn. If you've stayed in an Express & Suites before, expect nothing less. Hallways are clean, rooms are tidy and large, beds are clean with fresh sheets, bathroom has a decent shower with enough water pressure, room comes with a mini-fridge and microwave for those who are staying for an extended period. This location is right off the 10, so it's great if you're in town for business. Walmart is a five minute drive away and there's a gas station in walking distance.

Only reason I’m giving two stars is because things were stolen out of my truck while staying here. They have no cameras outside and I was told management and owner have had numerous complaints about vehicles being broken into and things being stolen. Was also told that some staff think it’s a safety issue not to have cameras up outside. Other than that the staff were wonderful. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. I don’t suggest you stay here if you’re worried about anything in your vehicle. Obviously the criminals in this area know they don’t have cameras up outside of it’s a recurring issue.

Fantastic room, pool was clean. Would stay again. Close to casinos! Kitchen breakfast cook was amazing. My poor kids missed breakfast (got in late and slept in a bit too long) and they were so hungry and crying when we rushed down to try to get something before closing. She grabbed them milk and cereal and saved the day! So sweet.

Awesome experience so far, great service, awesome breakfast, fantastic hospitality. The rooms are quite nice. Especially the soft and firm pillows.

This is a nice little hotel. It's clean, convenient and we'll managed.

Friendly service. Hotel has a pool, hot tub, gym and even a washing machine.

I appreciate the night housekeeping. I am not disturbed during the day while sleeping, and then come back to a fresh room after working the night shift. The amenities are also well maintained and useful, especially guest laundry and a good breakfast, including fruit and yogurt!

The staff here have always been very friendly, and whenever we have an issue with the room we book (which is rare) they promptly address it. We've been coming here since it opened and have never been disappointed.

The hotel is nice as most Holiday Inns are BUT, 1 washer and a half drying dryer for 3 floors of people is ridiculously horrible! There are people on extended stay here that we homeless becuase of Hurricane Harvey. Luckily I am an extended stay because of work but I would never stay at this 1 again!

I saw kindness here from the staff that I have never seen. The hotel was kept super clean, even through chaos. The community, that thinks very highly of this hotel, took extra special care of its evacuees. It is a little noisy being so close to highway, but the generosity of the staff made it worth the little bit of noise. And btw they have white noise makers in the rooms if your a light sleeper. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I can not speak highly enough.

Great place to relax. Everything is very clean and staff is very welcoming. The pool is my favorite part and the breakfast is the best there is!

Colleen was a gracious host in the breakfast room. Her pleasant attitude was refreshing. **Wanda was our housekeeper. Delightful and so willing to be of any help needed. Room was clean and comfortable. Thank you.

I must say the hotel is amazing n the staff is sweet n caring! But when it comes to working with you the gm Janice is totally rude n doesn't care what your situation is its all about money to her and speaks to you so horribly! My family spends alot of money at that hotel n tips really well but from now n we won't be returning because of how this lady handles things and speaks to her guests.

Today I experienced being racially profiled from an employee named John at the front desk. I have been staying at this hotel for over a week. I walked in this morning to eat breakfast as always and was approached by John. He asked for my room# and last name, which I provided. While fixing my breakfast he approached me again and stated breakfast was only for their guest. John saw me walk through the lobby going to my room the night before and also saw me days prior. He told me it was a problem while folding his arms, again saying breakfast was for guest. I explained that I was a guest, had been there over a week. Also other front desk employees knew me by name. He said I had given him the wrong room # which was my mistake, (explain) my room was 233 I said it was 333. But he had located my name In the computer. Why continue harassing me if he notices my name in the computer, which states I was a guest. He focused on the wrong number and continued about breakfast being for guest. Totally unnecessary and out of line when he clearly confirmed I WAS a guest there. I called in to speak with the manager Justin, I explain the situation and was asked to wait for him to investigate. He understood that I spend my money and have been a guest since I been here for work. Justin did investigate the issue and resolved it but overall the other employees Ms Ana & Roxanne are acknowledgeable and know me as their guest they are very nice and professional.

Decent place. Good beds and the eggs are better here than at most. Pretty typical HIX.

I have been here for 7 days, I work in the oil & gas field and have been traveling for maybe 20 years. Today while gathering my breakfast, I was approached in an unfriendly way. The employee asked what room I was in, and followed with making the observation that they provided breakfast, not lunch and dinner. I explained that I don't have enough time to eat there, he repeated "we provid breakfast, not lunch and dinner". He explaind that for what I had pulled was more then a "NORMAL" person would eat. He made refrence that if I was from the hotel next door then I do eat the amount (Motel 8). I guess in his mine people at Motel 8 are not "NORMAL". By his choice of words I knew his comment was due to that I had pulled two yurgorts fron the cooler. So I put them back, proceeded to fix my meal stayed and ate as much as possible. I still made it late to work by 1min. My lost was greater then what they would have lost on two yogurts. I hope that a manager reads this and contacts me, I would love to see there policy and procedures on what they consider "NORMAL" or if they have an amount listed as maximum per client. Last but not least, my company spends hundreds of thousands on this company. My room is for 4 people so at the very least they should consider it for 4 people.

Location was fifteen from the main attractions. Rooms were nicely kept and was clean. Morning breakfast had a nice selection but tasted aight. 4/5 would stay again.

Nice hotel with decent rooms. Lobby is updated. Top floor smelled horribly of smoke however. Can't comment on other floors.

Wonderful hotel. Had several ball teams staying there, but it was extremely quite. Very Clean. Pool is a bit small. Breakfast had plenty to choose from. Beds very comfortable. Only real complaint Need two washers and two dryers.

My family and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past five years when visiting the area. The staff has consistently been helpful and attentive, and this is one of the best HIEXP I have ever stayed in. The breakfast is Holiday Inn "standard" but well done and organized. I would recommend it to anyone.
