My grandmother and I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel… it was nice for most part… that has been over a month ago. We got charged for 3 nights to the credit card and still they have not repaid the amount… I've called numerous times only to get the run around… I will be contacting the county attorney and putting my 2 cents in everywhere I can about tr his hotel until I get refunded the overcharge.

I was profiled for having tattoos and asked for my room number while leaving the hotel in the morning. The staff was rude and the manager was physically aggressive. I was forced to leave the Hotel after one night stay. I paid for three nights. When asked for a refund I was given the run around and forced to file a complaint with choice hotels. I will also be involving the BBB.

Very clean and nice spacious rooms and helpful staff.

We have stayed here 2xs in the last week. The 1st time was not bad at all. We were on the 2nd floor and it was pretty clean. The only problem was 1 female worker never had her mask on. We stayed last night and I did the reservation online before we arrived and paid with my card. Well my Husband went to check in and it took legit forever and I guess it wouldn’t take my card well he used his. We were put on the 3rd floor this time and as soon as we stepped out of the elevator it smelled like strong marijuana. We get in the room and the floor was dirty, it looked like it hadn’t even been swept. It looked like there was poop or something at the top of the shower.
There was a random hair on the bed (gross) and over all it was just way worse then the 2nd floor. We were very tired from the long drive so we didn’t complain. My Husband tells me this morning that they double charged his card, when he called the Lady was VERY RUDE & said it was for a “deposit” we were not told about at all and that it “had been refunded” so we shall see and I will update how long that takes. This time around was sooooo much worse then when we stayed a few nights ago. Very disappointed 😞

Charged cleaning fee of $150, saying they found marijuana in trash can. Wouldn’t produce any evidence to back up allegation.

Extremely rude and horrible customer service. Had a group block reservation for a youth sports team and spoke to them almost weekly until arrival and NOT ONCE was it mentioned that the pool was closed! Pool on website (in picture). It should have been disclosed that the pool was down and the hote under construction! That is why we chose this hotel! Upon arrival, John was ridiculously rude and acted like he was insanely busy! We were the ONLY car in the parking lot! Very misleading and horrible customer service. Spend the extra $ and go somewhere where you will be treated with dignity, respect, and with great service!

Do NOT leave anything important in your room! It took me a week and a half of calling to get mine back. Then they charged me for shipping on a credit card that I did not give them, but was previously used on my account which charged me more money. Shady place of business. I have lost all respect and will not be back!

We loved the pool was nice and clean the hot tub was too. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we had ever experienced well go back.

This hotel is AWFUL. Unless you're a heavy smoker, marijuana user, or have absolutely no sense of smell, do not stay here. The entire place reeks. The first room I was given was disgusting! The second room was clean, but the smell was hardly tolerable. The beds are definitely not queen size! The bathroom door kept jamming inside the door frame so we kept struggling to be able to close it. The breakfast was disappointing. We went to breakfast about 7:45 and there were no eggs. The staff repeatedly filled everything besides the eggs. That wasn't a big deal to me, but my special needs son was pretty irritated. Overall, this hotel is awful. I think I'd rather sleep in my car than to stay here again. I didn't even stay my full stay that I paid for because it was that bad.

Comfortable, clean, quiet room. Good, hot breakfast, with plenty of choices. We will stay again, next time we're in the area.

The tweeked out counter help wouldn't allow my wife and I to renew our stay because someone that came to pick me up for a ride lit a cigarette not knowing that it was no smoking in the rooms. As soon as I brought it to their attention they put it out. Maybe 2 puffs. I was in the bathroom. When I tried to explain that to the tweeker counter help she said I needed to get better friends. The married couple that came to take us to dinner are respectable professional people who simy made a mistake. 'nuff said.

Excellent room for the rate of $89 per night. Indoor pool is spacious enough. The hot tub jets need some maintenance. (They could be more powerful. ) The front desk staff and morning breakfast lady are very cheerful. They offer a great hot breakfast with plenty of options. The hotel is located on the west end of town and across the street from a Shell gas station. It's just a couple of miles from town and in a quiet location.

Great deal for the price. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food is better and more inclusive than I expected for a complementary breakfast. The indoor pool is a great feature, and the staff is very accommodating and courteous.

I stayed here for one night, I checked in pretty late, so the guy gave me a small discount. The key maker was broken, so he had to let me into my room, I'm sure they have got it fixed, as this was two weeks ago. As far as the rooms go. They were very clean and up to date, I stayed in a single king bed, it had a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker, a very large desk and chair for those that need that kind of thing. Clean bathrooms and shower. I thought it was pretty nice and I was happy with my overall experience.

Not great. Stayed there for about 8 days over two weeks and my experience was decent the first week, and horrendous the second. Issues such as my keycard stopped working 6 times, rude housekeeping staff, taking a long time to clean the rooms, and the second room having odd stains on the wall and generally being in far worse shape. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Good price, beds are narrow, some dust in areas of the room. Breakfast ok. Friendly nice staff for the most part.

Needed a place to stay while in town for a week. Used Hotwire to get a decent priced "3" star hotel on the cheap. It was a very good stay to say the least. I even extended my stay for two more days. The breakfast was abundant in items, even had fresh biscuits and gravy! The room was extremely tidy at all times, and very spacious. I will stay here again. The staff, everyone I met there was so friendly and inviting too. Loved my stay wholeheartedly.

This hotel has cockroaches & staff that do not know how to operate their own billing system. They did a pre authorization of over $1200 on our account. Asst. Mgr. Lopa Patel is very rude & the most unprofessional manager that I have encountered.

Hotel was right off highway and clean. Newly remodeled. I had and issue with the shower head in my room and they were quick to fix it. Would stay again.

Over priced and not clean. The "bathroom" has a vanity area separated from commode and shower by a pocket door. It would not operate smoothly but stuck every time and required 2 handed efforts to open/close. It had what appeared to be vomit on inside. The bath floor was unclean with loose debris all around the tiny area. Housekeeping arrived at 8:30 am to inquire if we were checking out. After a night when occupants of room next door kept us up and front desk was unavailable to help we were ready to go. Every thing about this hotel was "off. " The staff unprofessional, attitudes were shrug shoulder, breakfast was poor quality and chaotic in a tiny area. I could go on but you get the gist. I complained to corporate customer service and waited 25 minutes on hold to do so. If we get stuck in Owensboro again we'll sleep in the van before giving this hotel another dime.

Rooms were ok, towel weren't big but that is usual for hotels. The staff was nice. We stayed there last year as well.

Customer service is everything when you stay somewhere. I am traveling with my job and was staying at the Sleep Inn Owensboro and the receptionist named Cissy at the desk was very shrews and snobbish. She corrected my partner and myself several times on how our CLC (corporate lodging card) worked. She even went as far as correcting my grammar when I mispronounced a word. Cissy started our ordeal by booking the room under my name and my CLC. She then proceeded to try and charge my partner's card for a room that we explained we would be sharing. She then argued with us about how she needed both cards to book the room. I explained to her that she had just ran my card and charged me for the room and that she would be declined with my partners card, as the room had been paid for already. She then argued with me about swiping his card. I just let her do it because she wouldn't listen and figured we will deal with my boss later. She then made a photo copy of his card because even after I told her it was gonna decline, it declined. After about half an hour she finally got her head on straight and gave me my room key and let me go. The overall hotel is great but the customer service is absolutely horrible.

Absolutely loved it here! The beds were soooo comfy! Check in was fast and friendly! Pool area was clean! The hot tub was only luke warm which was a bummer but hey you can't be perfect in everything. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Thanks for a great stay!

Clean. Refrigerator and microwave. Matress is a little more firm than I'd like, but it does the job. Not much of a work space/desk in the room. Included breakfast is simple, but decently accomplishes it's purpose. Overall, it's great for a quick overnight/weekend stay in the area. It just wouldn't be my first choice for an extended business stay.

People were very friendly and helpful finding someplace to eat. Also room was real nice. Will stay there again if in area.

Room was disgusting, nicotine stained walls, rude workers, paying 98 dollars for not quality.

The breakfast was good. The hallways and elevators smelled like burnt carpet, but our room smelled perfectly fine. The pillows were nice and soft but our bathroom door was off its track.

You can poop and watch TV at the same time. Five stars.

It has an indoor pool, spa, and fitness area. It has complimentary breakfast every morning as well as a dinner on Tuesday night. It has vending machines and ice machines. However, it does not have room service.
