The room was very clean the other tenants were very respectful and quite. Clean linens everyday if needed and wanted. I love how they post it in the rooms on how to save on energy by reusing things like towels and wash rags. The small things add up to big things and not a lot of people see that. The employees are understanding and very polite and amazing.

Everything worked as intended, was fairly clean-the shower floor could have been cleaner. I guess a lot of people with dirty feet. Front desk was very nice, for the price it was a good value. I like the bamboo floors over carpet a lot.

Everything was excellent. I got a great deal on the rate. Just a couple of things… I apparently had a smokers room. While the smell wasn’t bad, being a non-smoker it took me by surprise. The room was clean, just the lingering odor was not what I was expecting. My suggestion, although I know you try and accommodate everyone, is to maybe have all non-smoking rooms. Then have an area where smokers can go. Then it would have been nice to have had a little frig in the room. I had some cheese with me and ended up throwing it out cuz I was unable to keep it cold. Again, I had a nice clean room with a GREAT rate. I would definitely stay with you again…

The room was not ready at check-in time, the front desk saw I was a Veteran and said she would give me a Veteran discount which was nice to offer but then was not given and denied at check out. The room was 238 in Owensboro KY and the floors looked like they had not been swept in quite a while, the sheets had a variety of hairs and other debris on them to the point I'm confident they were not changed and the beds simply remade. The refrigerator was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen and I regret not photographing it to prove my point. The overall cleanliness outside was awful. The shower floor and toilet both had stains from lack of cleaning. The staff at check out simply said no discounts and sorry. They acknowledged it was a corporate owned location, and seemed indifferent about my complaints or concerns. Worst motel/hotel I've stayed at, and sadly it was corporate owned Motel6. The online reviews I've read now make much more sense for that location, I didn't give them the credit they deserved. I don't expect a desk, couch or free breakfast at a Motel6 but for $75, I'd expect a clean room.

The room was overall clean however the toilet had a ring around it. There is no hair dryer nor shampoo or conditioner provided. Also lacking of toliet paper. The bedspread has holes in it.

Staff was very nice. I get up early and they had hot coffee before 6 so awesome. Some motel 6s dont. Clean rooms. Only thing is the walls are thin. You can hear everything in the next room. But check out is noon so thats a plus. Good stay.

A great stay at a great price. They've made improvements to the rooms over the last couple of yeara. It's located near shopping and dining areas, and you can visit the downtown area within minutes.

Evening Receptionist was very welcoming. The room is just too basic, no coffee, fridge, microwave-nothing and I was not told there was a microwave near reception, I saw it on check out. Also whilst you may not be able to change this-the walls between rooms are very thin, I could hear next door talking and they were doing this at a normal level.

They charged me a higher rate then booking. Com said I would be charged. The air conditioner blew out cool air somewhat but I was unsatisfied and complained and was brushed aside and there was noise all night in the adjoining room and noise above me the next morning. I was unhappy with my stay all the way around. I would not recommend this motel to anyone and I probably won't ever stay there again. I feel like I should be refunded my money.

I always sleep comfortably here. There are plenty of places near the motel to get supplies and entertainment.

How are employees spend a lot of time with this particular Motel. Overall not a huge fan of Motel 6. But this is one of the better ones. Great location, clean, great staff Great weekly rate.

Rooms were nice. Beds were comfy. Bed spread had burnt marks. Floors were vinyl, but was not real clean. Don’t walk around in sock feet. Overall, good room for the money.

Wasn't really welcoming. It was straight to the point. "Money sir", hands him money. "Keys, bye. " Father asked him what room number. An worker saysssss " well on the back of the card"

Very small rooms and beds were advertised as queen but were full size. Shower had black mold at top where shower curtain hung. Had to pay for Wi-Fi and extra for a room with fridge/microwave.

Great place for the price. Pet friendly. Pets stay free. Close to restaurants like Chinese buffet, Shoneys, McDonald's, golden corral, Panera and quite a few more. Very friendly staff.

Excellent anemities for the price. Pool available in the summer. Best value in town. Could stay 2 nights there for the price of one night at other places. Located near restaurants and shopping and near access to the bypass to reach other side of town quickly.

The rooms have all been remodeled to fit the taste of most guests. The service was exquisite and the people were all friendly.

Everything was fine. Would have been 5 stars if there had been a refrigerator, but overall not a bad place to stay.

Management to the front desk to the cleaning ladies they were absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond! Accommodating, understanding, and amazing staff! I'd give em 10 stars if I could.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are great since the renovation. The troublemakers that would frequent the motel have slowly been weeded out, which makes everything safer for everyone.

The room looked clean and maintained with newer furnishings and fixtures. However it smelled like a homeless shelter or live-in motel. It was awful and after the cockaroach fell off the curtain I almost left. The room could use a DEEP CLEANING and more regular deep cleanings going forward. After that, would suggest raising prices $10-$15 to keep out the base elements and raise standards.

Everything was great! Staff was very nice! The room was very nice and clean! Look forward to visiting again next year around this time! We travel for football! Bed was comfy as well! Thanks for friendly, clean visit to Owensboro Ky!

Very clean and well maintained. Couteous staff at front desk. Great value on the price of the room. Walls were a little thin and it was very noisy. But in all a great stay.

Jill, the front desk attendant, was awesome. The rooms could use refrigerators and microwaves. But that was the only disappointment. The room was clean and nicely remodeled.

Requested a ground floor when I signed up. Had to wait 10 min at check in, but I got just what I wanted. Good Price, too. Easy in easy out.

I arrived after midnight last Wednesday night. I carried in all of my things including hanging clothes for a 4 day stay. When I turned down the bed, I found soiled sheets and pillow cases! I immediately called the front office and informed the on duty person hoping she would at a minimum bring me fresh sheets. Instead I was offered a different room! I was exhausted so I stripped the bed and pillow cases and slept in my clothes! I stay at Motels all the time and this is a first for me. I am EXTREMELY disappointed that the Manager did not contact me and try to make me feel whole in this experience. I truly thought I would be comped for at least one night of my stay.

The experience was better than what we were expecting. The only downside to our stay came from the smoky smell in our non smoking room. Other than that, the stay went well.

Actually very simple. The room was clean and comfortable. Very good for someone just wanting a place to sleep. Good value for the price. Big change from what it use to be.

It was great to see that this Motel 6 was remodeled. We have cats and need a pet friendly hotel that accepts cats. That does not leave many options. Unfortunately many Motel 6 hotels are in sad shape and not always clean. This one was an exception. Recently remodeled and clean. Much appreciated.

The beds were hairy and disgusting like the sheets haven't been cleaned in weeks! The "expanded TV package" was a joke they have like 20 channels and most of them are duplicate channels. Also, I paid for the Wi-Fi, which is already a joke, and the Internet was down for the entire time I stayed there. When I called the front desk she yelled at me that it wasn't their fault and that I wouldn't be refunded my money, I laughed and said it was a joke and she hung up on me and didn't answer the next 3 times I called.

I'm currently staying here now and the rooms are smaller then a Micro Inn. When I pulled my sheets back I found more hair then a dog with mange. I'm 100% discussed with this motel. I'd advise you not stay here unless looking to bring a hooker over and pay a penny for a room. Best thing here is the shower, but I'm not about to spend my whole night there. The bathroom is almost the size of the whole room. Tvs are super old and have a high pitch noise when they are on. Not satisfied at all!

Stayed there with my fiancé for a few days just to get away. Big mistake. It would have been more relaxing to stay at home around screaming kids and forgo the babysitter. Nothing but junkies and management is incredibly rude. When we complained about the noise several times we eventually spoke to the manger who rolled her eyes and dismissed us completely. I will NEVER stay at this location again. I feel sorry for the people that work there. On top of the noise and the rudeness at 11:50am I had some crack head looking woman banging on my door like she was the police. She had boils on her face. I wouldn't be comfortable with someone like that in my room anyway. She also claimed to be "management". What a joke. We weren't even due to check out.

Woman at the desk was kind & helpful. Room was tidy & functional. All that could be expected from a budget motel.

The carpet was so dirty and stained you better not walk around barefooted, might catch something. The bathroom was clean. Will not make your bed if you leave your own pillows on the bed. No phone book or other ways to find out what is near you. Noise level from rooms upstairs was loud. Very thin walls.

The stay was ok. The front desk staff were great and friendly. This hotel had uncomfortable beds and older amenities but will be upgraded soon. Houskeeping was the only underwhelming feature.

Hotel staff was very accommodating and did their very best to make sure my stay was worthwhile. Always have and always will enjoy staying at Motel 6 no matter where I am.

Seriously, for $300 bucks you could upgrade them tiny rooms with a cheap Ikea style. I would not even use the shower and the toilet with all that caulk around it was just tacky. Very ceady looking with a hooker vibe which was shocking since the front office was so nice. Would be better to sleep in front office then that ceady/hooker vibe looking room. Floors were dirty, did smell and stained floors, bathroom toilet had 2 inches of caulk with burn stains, public resting area toilet looked safer to use. And note to MOTEL 6:hotels/motel stopped using old comforters a long time ago because of the cost of cleaning and the high potential of bed bugs. Just seriously get white sheets only and that's cheap to clean. Really, it was not even worth $45 a night. I did not expect 5 star but was expecting a plain Jane room but I was literally scared to use anything in that room. Motel 6 should be embarrassed that your check-in office looks 50 milliions times cleaner and safer looking than the rooms itself. Do some upgrade from Ikea, very simple thing and you'd do waaay better then with the icky rooms you trying to save money with which you not saving but just making it worse for customer to be scared to ever come back not a good lasting business practice. The only nice thing was the check-in office and the nice lady behind the counter. Otherwise, the room was a scary nightmare and I was only there for a couple of hours as I just need to change for a wedding.

09/17/15 is good for the price but very bad also there is no refrigerator and macroware and x all charge there is Wi-Fi free charge $3.

Enjoyed the hotel, staff was friendly, area was safe and convenient and had plenty of food and fuel options. Beds fine, towels fine, cleanliness fine, room small, parking very convenient. Upside: I requested and did receive a ground floor room even with late arrival. DOWNSIDE: I was quoted a slightly lower price than I had to pay and a room with a micro fridge which I did not get. Will return. Really about 3.5 stars.

I had a nice stay at this motel 6, except people talking late into the night the first night. The staff were friendly and invited me back. They were helpful with directions. The room was comfortable. I also liked the discounts at the local restaurants. It was difficult to get to because they are working on the highway by the Motel. The pool was great when I had time to get to use it. Overall it was a good experience and I would come back to this motel if I am in the area.

Hotel has a musty, smoke smell in every room I was offered. My blankets had dog hair on them. The toilette was unsat. I did not go with out shoes because floors were nasty. Baseboard was coming off. Very out dated.

This hotel was clean. I read other reviews and it is not that bad. It is just a basic check in and check out kind of hotel. Nothing fancy and not updated in any way yet. The Mgr said they are getting to redo the whole motel. The staff was really friendly.

If I had lots of money I would probably stay at a larger upscale place, but for what you get, and the extremely cordial staff, I am very comfortable here. This is the only place I stay within a 40 mile radius because of the rates. I keep coming back because of the staff and feeling safe as an older, single lady.

Was a pleasant stay I would say at the most. Cheap you get what you paid for. The young lady upfront was very pleasant and welcoming.

Over priced and shady as hell. A) Pay For Internet Wi-Fi B) Cheap 1989 19 inch TV. C) Small bed small shower though not that bad. D) Rented to some party that is making racket. Going in and out. E) No coffee maker no microwave. AC works though old. My Opinion rooms worth 30. And office lady was not very helpful. Updated bathroom was nice. Not big enough for two bed. But ended up paying 62 cuz I've been traveling, am tired to fuss or go elsewhere. Just settaled.
