The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The lobby was such an inviting place—we played cards there several. But the best was that wonderful staff downstairs. Never have we had such a caring, helpful and friendly staff.

Barbara at the front desk is the epitome of customer service. I asked her a question about hydrofair merchandise. She didn't know the answer, so she went outside to find someone who did know the answer! Anything I asked … she helped me with. Holiday Inn better hang on to her. She needs a raise!

Enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Riverfront in Owensboro Kentucky. Had a third-floor king size w/balcony. The view was amazing. In the a. M. And p. M. It was quiet and relaxing. I will definitely book here again if I’m back in this area.

Very nice friendly host and other workers rooms are very clean and nice great food haven't tried out pool and hot tub or gym but it's there if ya want just an overall great place.

This is the room we walked into. Granted, they did give us another room but what the hell?! How was that so grossly overlooked? The mattress is hanging off and the sheets are obviously from the previous occupant. Gross.

Great place for kids and family fun good food too and pool is nice and river outback is really great.

Room was nice, view was great. Staff unapologetic about giving misinformation. We were told when making the reservation that there was a hot tub available… it hasn’t been available for 3 years. Was told by restaurant staff that glass containers could be in pool area. Security said different accusing me of sneaking it in. Staff refused to acknowledge I had asked if it was allowed. That evening while we were waiting for a takeout order and I raised my concerns they were minimized by the staff. When I raised my concerns during checkout the next morning there was no satisfaction given. Once in the car I found out that the cheeseburger my wife ordered for my son last night ended up being a grilled cheese! I almost turned the car around to address that issue. Bottom line is the staff did nothing to reconcile the issues THEY caused.

Very nice place to stay and staff was great.

I'm currently staying in one of your rooms as I type this. The cleanliness an customer service we have received is above average. My only complaint is the teenagers that seen to be hanging out in the hallway being loud enough for us to hear them an its after midnight. I have teenagers of my own so I understand the difficulty of being in small places together but you have to respect others an if their speaking loud enough that I can hear their conversation inside my room their obviouslly loud. I definitely recommend your staff make routine trips to check the hallway activities because sleep is pretty much non existent tonight if this keeps up. Other then that our stay is fine so far.

Reviews online were not accurate. Our first room was so dirty! Staff at the front desk was great but even the second room they switched us too was dirty also. Cobwebs in all the corners of the room. Saw spiders and sticky stuff all over the room ugh. Just nasty!

Great place to stay. Restaurant inside is amazing for dinner and breakfast! Big clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

For the price of $168 for 1 room not worth it. The room was clean and the furniture was nice and updated to include the room colors. But the let down was everything outside the room. Hallway from room to elevator was not clean. The elevator had some type of stains on the walls and railing. Seen a coffee station next to host. No coffee made time was 5pm ask the host if it would be filled. She replied it’s Easier to go to the restaurant and ask them? When checking in my room keys did not work had to return to host. She admitted she had not programmed the cards correctly. She laugh and said normally it’s the the door hardware that has the problem. Went to the outside patio in the morning to relax drink my coffee. Just to find the patio area had not been cleaned or swept. Rested my arm on the table to come in contact with a sticky spill that had been made night before. The landscape needed attention maybe keep the grass and concrete structures presentable. I travel a lot threw out the area and most places I stay generally Ok. I have seen the room may have a few problems in updates. That’s not the case here. It’s everything you see when you enter the property. Will not stay here again. The lack of pride they have showed in there work place. I can only hope they receive this info and make the needed changes. My hometown deserves better then this. I will visit the other line of hotels next to the river and local location. What a let down.

We had a party there with about 100 guests. The food was amazing. They were very accommodating. I’d have a party there again.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Great view over looking the river. Hotel restaurant is pricey but there are good food options within walking distance. Staff is super friendly. They have closed their hot tub, so just a pool now.

The staff at this Holiday Inn was exceptional. They treated me and my dogs as though we were personal friends. I was there for a dog show and hopefully all the guests treated them equally well. More and more people choose to travel with their dogs and their choice of motels is reflected in that choice. Personally I won't stay in a motel that charges for my dogs. They are crated in the room and I always pick up after them. Dog show people are aware of the problems associated with their dogs and try to be responsible guests, this may not be true of pet owners.

The hotel is beautiful, located on the river. Our room was very nice and the staff was helpful. There was a band playing on the patio and we enjoyed our stay.

The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant in the building is pretty good. Also, the view of the river is great! Having the park nearby to walk to is perfect!

We had a good stay at the Holiday Inn Owensboro. There was a major water outage in Owensboro while we were there which also affected the hotel but the hotel staff handled it as well as they could. The hotel and restaurant there were very nice and all the staff were wonderful.

Breakfast service was quick and as expected. Nothing exceptional since the menu has changed. But the food is pretty good.

Being in for a convention we were quite concerned about parking. Not only did the hotel guarantee a spot they enforced their policy so we never had to worry. This was on top of their overall excellent service.

Fantastic rooms that were in very clean condition. Staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. This isn’t much of a complaint but the elevator was VERY slow. Overall I enjoyed my stay here, and it deserves a 5 stars.

Very nice facility. Room was perfect for what you pay. Only disappointment was breakfast at restaurant that took longer than it should. Otherwise great experience.

I have so many awesome things to say about this place. Kids eat free in the restaurant downstairs. Excellent for breakfast and dinner and a decent beer selection, although light on the porters and stouts. Very friendly and accommodating front desk staff. River side is a great view! Stay here!

We love the location because its right on the river with a beautiful view. The rooms are nice, neat and very clean. They are also up to date. The service is awesome and everyone is helpful. Also the broken egg cafe is superb. We had breakfast and it was excellent. We also visited the bar and it was great.

A++ wheelchair hotel. Everything just works and was designed with a thought to the disabled. We will be back for sure. Rooms are huge, bathrooms are spacious, and the bar is just right. Service animal friendly, feels like the whole hotel staff are dog lovers.

Wow, I am impressed. This place is definitely a must every year when I come into town. Right Location beautiful setting. The hospitality staff is second to none. Hotel Decor and amenities are a great. If you are always on the road this is a Hotel to enjoy and relax 1 night or few days. If you are on vacation or a couple weekend getaway. This is the Place as well.! The bedsheets are so soft. Thanks the whole staff awesome. I am happy. The location is therapeutic! Morning run is awesome!

This place is beautiful, the room was perfect, the view from the fifth floor balcony is stunning, the staff is brilliant and breakfast at Another Broken Egg cafe was fantastic. Oh! And they have a salt water pool and hot tub. I love this hotel and will definitely be going back!

Staff very friendly upon check in. Room met all expectations, very clean and bright. Especially enjoyed the view from our balcony of the beautiful Ohio river and the in-house dining. Would definitely recommend a stay at this property.

Very nice hotel! Right on the river front. My room has a good sized balcony overlooking river with 2 chairs and table so you can sit and enjoy the river traffic Room spacious and well stocked with microwave, coffeemaker, hair dryer, lots of closet space and plenty of seating. Has a great restaurant and bar that has extended hours. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was exceptional from housekeeping to the front desk. The restaurant staff were excellent as well. Enjoyed the patio area and the beautiful view of the river while my grandchildren played like toddlers. Very enjoyable stay in one of my favorite cities.

Wow! Totally impressed with this hotel! Beautiful inside and out! Clean and well appointed rooms! Right on the Ohio River which u can enjoy from a room with a balcony! We were tired from a long day of driving and the front desk staff provided us with menus and restaurants that delivered to the hotel! Food we ordered from recommended restaurants was great and was enjoyed outside on the patio with drinks from the bar… which were served up by a very nice bartender! Want to come back to explore the area soon!

We were doing an event at Owensboro and were informed about a discount at the Holiday Inn for our club. Unfortunately, Holiday Inn would not give us a discount on our room (as they alluded that the designated rooms for the event were already booked). We paid $186.01 for our room — much more than any of the other club members who stayed at various other motels in the area. Plus, the restaurant (at the Holiday Inn) did not open until 6:30 AM, provide a complimentary breakfast, nor did they offer any kind of breakfast packages/deals. We could not be more disappointed, especially since all the others with whom we spoke in our club (who again stayed at cheaper locations) enjoyed a wonderful, free breakfast at 6:00 AM.

Love this Holiday Inn. This is a relatively new Holiday Inn. The rooms are good sized and nicely appointed. Rooms on the North side have a nice view of the Ohio River. Another Broken Egg is the restaurant located in the hotel. There is a fitness center and an indoor pool. Very clean and well managed. A great place to stay.

Really friendly staff. Beautiful beautiful campus right on Smother's Park boardwalk on Ohio Riverfront. Walking distance to downtown. Clean facilities and nice pool/jacuzzi with handicap accessible. Fireplaces on back patio. If you come here request a Riverfront view room as balcony is perfect for sunset. Would definitely stay again.

Last weekend we stayed at the Holiday Inn Owensboro Riverfront during the International Bar-B-Q Festival! We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were spotless, had updated/modern decor, and the staff was extremely helpful. We utilized the swimming pool and hot-tub a few times during our weekend stay; they unfortunately are on the small side. The hot-tub looks to need some refinishing work, but at the end of a long day of BBQ hunting it felt good to my tired feet! Mike at the front desk was particularly helpful. We did eat at the Broken Egg restaurant for breakfast on Saturday morning. We ate outside overlooking the river, but had some spotty service — having four different wait people serve us? There seemed to be a bit of confusion as to who was doing what — which resulted in our order lacking accuracy. Ultimately all of the food arrived, we ate and were on our merry way. We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn, would recommend it to anyone for a wonderful trip, and we look forward with anticipation to visiting you again — — perhaps next year!

Broken egg is amazing. The breakfast drinks are magical ang the raspberry grits are ridiculous. Service was great ang the view is spectacular. My 4 year old hot yhe fanciest chocolate milk we have ever seen!

The hotel is modern and clean. Also, the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to an awesome playground that my daughter loved. The rooms were a little small, and breakfast was not included. However, we still had a great time!

Very nice staff, clean rooms, some with a nice river view. The restaurant is good, but there's no breakfast buffet as in other places.

Had breakfast at another broken egg. Food was a little disappointing after all the great stuff I heard. Long wait for food that was Luke warm when I received it. Then had to track down waitress to get check after being finished for 10 mins or so. Go somewhere else.

Enjoyed brunch with family at Another Broken Egg Cafe, located in the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast offerings are quite good and the service is generally attentive. The only issue that we ran into on this trip pertained to sever/staff training, specifically surrounding their gluten-free offerings. My companion identified herself as being gluten sensitive and asked for the gluten-free options (which were mentioned on the menu). Long story short, even after the waitress indicated she'd check with the kitchen to ensure the bread accompanying the entree was gluten-free they sent out regular toast. When we brought this back to their attention they indicated that the only gluten-free bread they offered was a pancake, which they provided at no cost. It generally wasn't overly problematic in this incident and they did correct the oversight. Just something of which to be aware if dining out with Celiac or a sensitivity.

My girls and I needed to get out of the house so we decided to try the Riverfront Holiday Inn for a snowcation! It couldn't have been better! The room was great — very roomy and we loved the style! The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating! The pool area is nice — the girls loved swimming and the hot tub! What a wonderful view of the snow covered patio and the river! We ate breakfast at Another Broken Egg and it was excellent. Can't wait to try their new dinner menu. We had such a nice stay we wish we could stay another night! As my girls said "it was awesome! "
