It was a very nice little place. Independently owned. The owner was very friendly as was thr rest of the staff. The restaurant was very good with a small menu but something for everyone. This experience was awesome.
Rooms cozy, clean. Refrigerator an microwave in room. Bed clean and comfortable. Cafe food really really good. Prices comparable. Staff friendly.

What a great experience! As someone who travels extensively for work, you never know what you are going to get when you stop for a room, especially when it’s a small, Mom & Pop operation. The North Star Inn reservation and check-in process was easy and the customer service was fantastic. The room was just the right size, clean, and comfortable. Most importantly, it was quiet. There is ample parking in a gravel lot across the street for larger trucks with trailers and semi’s. Located right behind the Inn, the North Star Cafe serves up a delicious, home-cooked meal. They have breakfast hours and dinner hours, so be sure to call and confirm. Daily specials are available and everything is reasonably priced and servings were generous. The Cafe also has a downstairs lounge with live music on select dates. Located right off of Interstate 75, you cannot beat the convenience when traveling. I definitely recommend the North Star Inn and Cafe and will be sure to stay here again in the future.
