Everyone at the front desk was great. They helped with our accomodations which included multiple rooms, kids and dogs… they were kind and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was easy on our way out every morning and they have room for boat and trailer parking which was a must. This is now our hotel of choice on the road trip from OKC to DEN and we LOVE that our story has this destination in it! Boating nearby!

Have stayed a night at the Wakeeney Super 8 for about ten years. Facility has degraded over that time. Room looked nice. Stairway air conditioner did not work, temp was about 88. Wallpaper peeling in stairway, base molding missing. Window in stairway dirty, had dead bugs on sill. Dead bugs on carpet in stairway. Ice machine broken, usually is, may have worked twice in ten years. No security, back door unlocked, key card reader broken, has been several times.

Clean rooms. Very small breakfast. Nice staff.

Service was great, but housekeeping left used soap in shower, and food in the fridge of our room.

One of the cleanest Super 8 hotel that I have stayed in. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

They were so helpful as I'm handicapped and needed ambulance into room. And out ahain. Very accommodating and had laundry available they supplied soap and dryer sheet they get 5 stars thank you.

Good place for a nights rest before getting back on the road. Will always stop here driving across the country.

Rooms for rent clean breakfast was decent and rate was good can't complain at all.

Staff was very very friendly. The room was clean and breakfast in the morning was great. Only problem I had was the shower was a little run-down.

Great friendly staff. Have stayed here multiple times on our way to and from Colorado. This last time we was moving and stop for the night. Woke up and had a flat on my trailer, they let us keep our room past the check out time for no extra charge so my kids could be comfortable while we waited for the repair man. This is a must stay place.

This review updates my previous review from the same time last year. The property was involved, along with neighboring properties, in a bad hail storm in August of 2017. Half of the rooms are undergoing renovation. Otherwise, the property and rooms are still middle of the road for a limited service property in a rural area. Rates are reasonable versus recently built competition in this market area.

Clean and quite rooms. Good location, easy in and out. I would stay there again. Not bad at.

Not much to say, it's two long halls of rooms, many handicap accessible, not so full that it feels crowded, but not so empty that it feels creepy. We just needed a cheap place to spend the night on our road trip. Breakfast is what you'd expect from a Super 8, couple of beast cereals, hard boiled eggs, oj, apple juice, milk, coffee, not so great biscuit and gravy, toast, and pour your own waffles. Gas across the street was expensive, if you can, hold out until a bigger town with competing gas stations comes up.

We were pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and comfortable. There aren't a lot of food choices in this area and for some reason the restaurants (even the pizza) was really expensive. But nonetheless it was a good stopover.

Convenient, clean and soft pillows. Breakfast selection was adequate — nothing fancy, but it's FREE. Perfect for just an overnight stay when traveling west. (Or east depending upon your start point)

Very nice. Clean. Nice staff. Large room w/2 queen beds, frig, microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer. Good deal for the price.

This is a nice hotel for an overnight stay. It's a good price for what you get. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. There's not much to do in the area, but I imagine that most travelers are just passing through, not choosing this as a destination.

Nicest super 8 I've stayed at. The owner Kevin as well as front desk staff heather were a pleasure to deal with. Excellent place to stay and rest on the plains!

Made a reservation and showed up to find out they cancelled it and gave the room to someone else. They were not apologetic AT ALL. It's 11:23pm and we now have to find a new place to stay.

I just want to say that the owner of this Super 8 is awesome. I had a little issue with my stay and she took care of it immediately and professionally. She absolutely understands and provides amazing customer service. It is a pleasure to be able to say that about a business owner. If I ever pass through Wakeeney again I will be sure to stay here.

Thank you to Kelly for her hospitality! The rooms were clean and warm after we were rained out of our campsite. The nicest people helping us get settled and providing us with a bigger room for our large family. We will be staying here again when we come back through.

Their honesty, after checking out in the morning and driving for more than two hours, I realised that I had left my wallet with more than $1, 200 in cash. I called, drove back and they had my wallet complete with all the money at the front desk. Michelle and her team were super nice during this stressful situation. The best to you all.

This is by far the best Super 8 in which I have stayed. Recently remodeled, the rooms are tastefully decorated and quite comfortable. My room had a nice sized work desk and had very good room lighting. And the staff is great! Serena was great to work with when I was making my reservations and was very accommodating in meeting my needs. I didn't meet a grumpy staff member in the week that I stayed here. Even the night clerks were friendly and ready to make conversation. Nice vending area. A better than average breakfast with sausage gravy and biscuits and the usual fare of pastries, juices, cereal, and coffee. I have never been a fan of Super 8 and usually avoid them, but I was glad that I made this one my choice. I highly recommend!

I stayed here because it was 58 a night as opposed to 70 a night I would have had to pay if I had stayed in Colby. I was really surprised by how clean and new everything was. My room included a fridge and a microwave, and the breakfast had a waffle maker and there was also biscuits and gravy available as well. I really liked the place and if I'm ever in the area again I definitely will stay here again.

Nicest super 8 i've ever stayed in. The staff was really nice & accomodating, nice remodel, pleasant surprise in the middle of ks.

Wife, 18 yr old daughter and I stayed here on way from St Louis to Colorado. Very nice place, great front desk staff, clean, quiet. Even allowed us to pay fee for small dog traveling with us. Simple breakfast, fast and free. We will stay here again next year. jjw st. Louis.
