I would rate it worse than that. Breakfast is excellent Karen is such a herd worker but the front desk and whoever manages is a joke. Overcharging people, expecting housekeepers to be front desk people AND night auditors, is VERY disrespectful and unprofessional to say the least. He has literally ran that building to the ground. Meets random women in rooms and I bet doesn't even have them cleaned after. Definitely invest your money in the Holiday Inn because it's worth it if you're going to have to pay the price. The company overall is a joke but Dawn at the Holiday Inn is good people and she will never screw you over.

Breakfast Hostess (Debby) is so sweet! Food is excellent, rooms are clean. Have stayed here twice in the past several months and have no complaints. Recommended to family.

Terrible service, nice rooms but terrible service. We had a big wedding party mostly everyone booked here. & we can all say we won’t book again. They double booked multiple rooms and leaving some guests to have to drive all the way back home in the middle of the night because they over booked the whole hotel. Getting checked in took at least half hour and half the time the rooms weren’t even cleaned and ready to be checked in too! I could go on about how bad this stay was.

Charged me an outrageous fee for 2 nights while they charged the other person in my vehicle 1/2 what they charged me for the same room. Jill is not Management material. Asked if they had laundry facilities and was told to go to a laundromat. Was told I was going to be by the indoor pool and Jacuzzi but was not told they didn't even have water in them. Not Pilot Car or Trucker friendly. As a business owner, I have never been so offended.

No one at the counter when you want to check in. Gotta call and someone from the next motel comes to check you in. Not a quick process. The room was fine. Room was clean but obviously repairs to drywall as they were unpainted. Days Inn is one of the most affordable and clean hotels in McPherson.

The room was made to feel like home the staff kind and courteous and the breakfast was a great variety will stay again.

The room in general was ok. However the AC unit is old and worn out. It also had what look to be like mold, growing in the air outlet. The breakfast was AWFUL. The front desk clerk is also the breakfast "cook". She Microwaved every bit of the "hot food". I was disgusted, didn't eat a bite. She was rude to boot! Hallways smell like cigarettes. I would strongly recommend trying one of the many other hotel options near by.

The one at the parking side rattled all night but we could lock it unlike the one at the other side
The only way we were sure no one could get in was to put the chain on it and a chair at the door
While we were in bed a cockroach fell from the ceiling onto my husbands head
That was the final score
We were booked for the week only spent the one night
This was one night to long
Very disappointed as it is a Best Western
They should change the name to WorstWestern

Close to restraunts, Wal-Mart, shopping. Not far from town or hey. Nice clean pool and hot tub. Breakfast parking staff helpful with surrounding directions. Friendly staff. Laundry area. Walgreens near by. Clean rooms. Painting through out. On down time. Kids seem to like the pool.

Best deal in McPherson. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. My kids enjoyed the pool.

Made reservations to stay here with my family. There is really no such thing as (non smoking) rooms because the entire hotel has a strong cigarette odor as well as the room we slept in. The bed sheets were stained and not properly cleaned as well as what looked like mold inside the A/C unit vent in the room. The Hot tub in the pool area was not working. Breakfast was either running short or just flat out ran out. Noticed the lady in charge of making the breakfast and cleaning the breakfast area was wearing a sickness mask, I did not get breakfast after witnessing that. Overall the disappointment, The staff was nice. The stay was cheap but I guess they do say you get what you pay for. Chances are my family and I will probably not stay here again.

The room, bath, sink, and shower were very clean and it was obvious that housekeeping was doing a great job. However, the maintenance of the building and attentiveness of the staff was really lacking. The front door had foam screwed to it to apparently replace the actual gasket that was missing. This gave the first hint of poor facility maintenance. The refrigerator in my room froze everything I put in it no matter how low the setting was. The shower curtain was coming loose from the wall and the patched holes in the wall proved this was not the first time. The front cover was falling off the heat/AC unit and I had to push it back on in order to adjust the temperature in the room. The concerning part were the wires hanging from the ceiling where the smoke detector should have been. My biggest grief was the broken office chair that had a broken off armrest and sank to the floor when sitting in it. I informed the front desk that my chair was broken and made it very difficult to work in my room. I also informed them the next morning, and again when I got back it in the evening. During my 2 day stay the only answer I received regarding the chair was the maintenance man had not been in, and my chair was never replaced. As for service, there was very little concern for the broken items in my room. The trash in the breakfast area was overflowing both mornings of my stay.

The staff here are very friendly and accommodating! They are willing to go above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best! The rooms and the hotel itself are very clean! The bed was comfortable! Prices are affordable! Complimentary breakfast! I would gladly stay here again and recommend it for anyone who will be staying in the area!

As a truck driver I came here and spent two nights to reset my hours and picked up a load at John Manville right around the corner I enjoyed my stay the room was clean the front desk was polite the girls who worked as housekeepers were all nice willing to give you anything you needed I enjoyed my stay there and if I was ever around I would stay there again so many amenities around this place at the Walmart Supercenter right across the street plus my dog was happy.

I did not feel safe at this place. Lots of undesirable people running around. Water bugs by the hundreds flying all around keeping me awake most of the night. Went to get in the indoor Hot Tub, it was so hot that I couldn't stay in it. When the Manager asked how my stay was the next morning, I told her it was Horrible! She then gave me her Business card with a 50% discount for my next stay. I polity took it knowing full well that I would never stay here again! Then I went to try the free breakfast and did not seem like anything that I would ever eat! The staff was GREAT! But the place was a disaster! The Manager said that she could not wait for the new Hotel to be completed!

Very clean and nice only downfall was the shower. Water pressure wasn't the greatest and we're a little low so had to bend over the whole time.

Not a bad place for the price. The road to get there is pretty torn up. A bit confusing to get to as well. But the hotel itself is nice. Comfortable beds and clean.

A bit hard to get to, as the road is difficult to find being in between to parking lots. And the road is very torn up and rough are you car. The hotel itself is pretty nice for the price. With comfortable beds. They could use some new towels.

It was quite comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. Everything was kept as nicely as it can be at a hotel.

Good clean room, nice service people. Were quick to address issues we had. Only downside was a lack of available plugs for recharging devices.

Staff was wonderful. Room was nice and comfy. My husband and I drive a truck and they had good parking is. Will stay again. The only bad was there was no breakfast left at 8am and pool was closed. Places to eat… Applebee's was horrible… Freddy's good.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. The breakfast was poor and didn't look fresh at all. There was not even fruit. The hallway and stairs could be a bit more cleaner and the room had a smell to it, the wash cloths weren't folded liked if they had been used already. The worse of all my shower didn't work and realized that in the morning when it was time to get up and get ready. Really upsetting.!

Friendly staff, my room was freezing when I came entered it, the lighting wasnt great. There were no electric outlets near the desk. Pool is tiny. Hot tub is even smaller. Internet is okay, havent checked out the weight room yet. The best part is the beautiful view of Holiday Inn.

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. It's by a highway but I didn't hear the traffic and had a great nights sleep.

I travel to McPherson twice a year and this is my hotel. I love the staff as they are very helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is very good. If you want a nice clean hotel at a good price this is it.

This hotel sux ive called for 30mins straight and cant get anynody on the phone. I be damned if I wanna stay with somebody like that. And im here for a couple months.

The management of this hotel is an absolute disgrace. Corrupt, rude, and ignorant. If they can find a way to make a few extra bucks by stealing from employees paychecks, slacking off on health code, safety code, and cleanliness, believe me they will. I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. While the employees seem to try they don't higher based off of experience or knowledge, merely anyone who is willing to work for them and not quit (which dozens of employees already have. ) Do not stay here, do not work here. Period.
