In the area for an agriculture business trip and found place online thought too good to be true … boy was I wrong this place is phenomenal! Nice and clean and the hospitality was out of this world. Got in late from harvesting plots and Lori (The Owner) placed an order at the small cafe, picked it up for us and put in our room since we wouldn’t be in before closing time. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times.

What a great hidden gem. I always prefer privately owned places over chains and this was a winner!
This place was immaculate, lots of pillows, comfortable bed, the ability to set the temperature to penguin habitat status and the breakfast was… AMAZING! The best part was all of the things we learned from Lori about this place I had never even heard of. What a wonderful place to stop and enjoy!

Had radiator troubles on our vacation during this Corona virus issue. Was getting late and they were very hospitable. The cabin is gorgeous! it's my wife and my first anniversary today. Thought we was having bad luck but this little gem is far better than we could have expected! if I'm ever back in this area I will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful well thought out cabins! Owner was so thoughtful & went put of her way to ensure we had everything for our stay. We will definately recommend this lovely B&B to everyone.

Lorrie was a great host! Excellent service and breakfast. She even opened up the antique store for us! We will be back!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very interesting to stay in an old saloon. The host was super friendly and made a very good breakfast.

6 of us had a fantastic time at Lori's place. We stayed in one of her new cabins and it was perfect. Very comfy, room for all of us. She even had drinks in the fridge which she will never know how appreciated that was. Everything was so quite and peaceful. Man I needed that! I was fortunate enough to spend some time talking with Lori. I love history so we had a great chat. I appreciate her taking the time to sell me the history of the area which is amazing. Thank you Lori for such a great time and exceptional place to stay. We will be back.

Great stopover on a road trip. Lovely room, amazing breakfast, hospitable host, quiet, rural, lovely simple old building well restored. AC worked well, bed was really comfy, decor very easy on the eyes.

Delightful stay! Clean, comfortable log cabin that has a kitchenette. Breakfast can be arranged for a charge at the main Bed & Breakfast next door which has breakfast included with rooms. Thanks Lori Lennon and daughter, Tori!

This was amazing! So clean, proprietor very friendly, breakfast was out of this world. You definitely need to have some of her French toast!

Our family rented all the rooms in the B&B and it was absolutely perfect! Lori is an incredibly accommodating and a fantastic host. Her breakfast was some of the best we have ever had. We plan to stay here anytime we visit family in the neighboring town. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We will see you again in the future!

Spent one night here and was blown away by the hospitality and how cute the cabin was. Laurie is so kind and makes wonderful breakfasts. Exceeded our expectations!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything including check in, the room, and the AMAZING breakfast far exceeded expectations. Great communication from the hosts in advance of our stay and they are very accommodating for gluten-free requests. This is truly a hidden gem in Western Kansas. There’s no doubt we’ll be returning!

It's not a big place. It's not a big town. But the owners are awesome, the rooms are very clean and very affordable, the bed linens and towels are FIRST RATE AWESOME, the breakfast: Belgian waffles with blueberries and strawberries, scrambled eggs and bacon with fried potatoes, OJ and Starbucks coffee was wonderful. And all the guests sat and visited for an hour after eating! In between Lamar, Colorado and Garden City, Kansas… if you're in the area Trail City B&B is the place to stay. If you're looking for "ritzy" you won't like it. If you're looking for down home Kansas, country, next door to an awesome cafe and staffed by great hosts… you'll keep going back!
