After digging in Emerald Creek we drug our filthy bodies to The Pines Motel. The person at the desk was nice and helpful and everything you could want in that situation. Our room was clean, towels were soft and fluffy. The thing that makes Pines Motel a destination on its own is the WATER PRESSURE! The shower head had to be some old Navy surplus thing they used to remove barnacles? I know for certain, though, that you almost never get such quantity of unending hot water. Fantastic. Who knew? Well… now you do.

The park and pool across the street is awesome when traveling with kids. The room was nice and clean, and the front desk was helpful.

Arrived in the evening to find a note on the door listing phone to call as no one was staffing the closed reception office. Had to wait in a narrow doorway for about 25 minutes for a clerk to show up. The room was clean and nice enough. I was alarmed the following morning to discover that despite being on the second floor for security there was not even a dowel in the window — which mattered because of the steep hill behind the building. Very limited parking, so had to park out on the street.

Meh, 1 heat selection on heater, half the channels on the paper TV guide are unavailable and the walls don't keep the noise down from neighboring rooms. But, it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

A little out of date but a good place to rest your head.

It was a great stay. Room was clean and rates were great.

Nice staff, although our of the office a lot it seemed, good mattresses &, (but 1 of our rooms it was almost impossible to figure out how it worked), refridge, micro, ice, kleenex!, your basic in an older motel. Smoker Sat by the front door & the No Smoking sign that said No Smoking 25 ft from building.

Worst hotel ever no soap or shampoo in shower then shower has mold on edges and bathroom fan is cover in dust very dirty and old place the beds are like sleeping on rocks. The blankets smell like mildew and rooms are stuff a stink. There's hardly any channels on t. V. And the t. V. Has lines going through it. No one is ever in the front office it's run down and needs some T. L. C. Put into it. The parking lot is horrible No where to park and then people sit in front of the doors smoking. No pride at all highly not recommended.

The AC was incredibly loud, it was what I imagine sleeping inside a wind tunnel would be like. The decor, yes is dated, so if that matters to you then you might not like it. the front desk guy was super friendly, my room was spotless, bed was decent, pillows were great. All in all not bad for the price if you need somewhere to rest your head.

No shampoo. Room wasn't clean. Shower handle on walls. Airconditionar was loud. Parking was bad. People at front inference smoking and drinking. Will not stay there again.

I have stayed here twice the owner Frank is a great guy and I would stay here again!

Not a place I would recommend. There was garbage under my bed and the decor does not look like it has been updated since the mid 80s.

Very pleasant staff. Room was clean. Would stay again gladly.

Very clean, easy to find and safe parking for vehicle (over 20 foot vehicles might need to call). Very helpful staff.

Easy check in/check out. Friendly staff. Wi-Fi. Don't expect complimentary breakfast.

It was okay the pool was nice the only reason was the hotel rooms stunk like cigerates.
